Sharp brown eyes slowly open, sleeplessness fading as a smile quickly grows on her freckled face. Looking down at the strong arms that entrap her waist from behind. She giggles, carefully turning in his hold. To find he was already awake, looking to her.

"Good morning."

"It certainly is already." She states as a blush consumes her as he leans over to kiss her nose.

"Think we're the first ones up?"

"Perhaps. It's too silent for rowdyism." She voices, smiling at the gentle quiet. Adrien reluctantly releases Kagami. Grabbing his black bookbag, exiting the tent so Kagami has privacy.

As he takes his steps to fully walk out. Her left shoots out, grabbing his left wrist. Of course he immediately turns to the bob-cut blunette.

"Once this bout is over. Would like to accompany me on a Gym Battle journey?"

Adrien's beautiful smile and kiss to her blunette bangs covered forehead, is all the answer Kagami needs. Still emerald green lock with chocolate brown.

"You beat me to it, My Darling." Adrien fully exits the tent, once Kagami share he is gone. She falls backwards giggling to herself.

WITH NINOÉ's TENT. . .

Bright blue eyes smile down at Nino's sleeping face. Brushing her pink dyed lock on her left side out her face. Giggling softly as a capless Nino unknowingly snuggles closer to her knees as she sits holding Ampharos's capsule covered pokéball.

"We have to win, for Nino." Zoé states, gently placing it down.

"Hey Nino, time to rise." She shakes him gently. He groans slightly turning away from her.

"5 more minutes, Barbie Doll." Stating that Zoé blushes a deep crimson hoping he'd say that more.

"Oh Nino, please. Ampharos and I are battling Alya remember. I need you out there." It's like a flamethrower roasted his butt, Nino leaps fully awake.

"I'm up! You'll cream her, Barbie Doll!" He states with such confidence Zoe smiles brighter. The two hug, Nino winks at her, releasing it. He quickly exits to let her get ready for the day.

Nino smiles unseen over his left shoulder as he walks off to wait for Zoe to get ready.

ONE HOUR LATER. . .

"Come on lazybones, get up!" Nino yells as the girls inside try to bring life to Marinette. Adrien just laughs with Lovely sitting on his left orange sneakered foot.

Alya sighs with Bulbasaur beside her. Arms crossed over her chest. "Guys she'll get up late as usual. Stop wasting your breath and stalling."

Adrien glares at Alya, Nino looks at her sadly. Still both smile as Kagami and Zoé appear. Indeed letting Marinette sleep in.

Kagami glances to Zoe, sharp brown to bright blue. "You and Ampharos be victorious."

"We'll do our best."

Zoé heads over to stand across Alya. Watching as Bulbasaur gets ready. She smiles at the Grass/Posion Type. Kissing her capsule covered pokéball, "Ampharos Showtime!" Tosses it in the air, as colorful bolts of lightening burst out with Ampharos front flips onto the battle field.

"Wow, that's awesome." Nino states in wonder. Adrien nods agreeing.

"Tch. . . cute doesn't mean you'll win! Bulbasaur use Tackle!" Alya orders her girl. She runs Zoé just smiles strongly, Ampharos doesn't move.

"You got this. . . NOW!" Ampharos spins in place such time that Bulbasaur gets whacked with her red orb tail flung into the air.

"Ah! Bulbasaur use Vine Whip and grab Ampharos before you touch ground!" Two thick green vines come from her, aiming towards Ampharos.

Zoe's right arm out stretched, fingers twitch as if dancing. "No problem, Ampharos use the vines to jump then use Electro Ball!"

As the green vines get closer, Ampharos' feet leap away from them, but use it as springs leaping even higher. Collecting energy, the Electro Ball grows shooting at Bulbasaur!

"Bulbasaur use Vine Whip knock it away." Doing just that, the Electro Ball redirected. . . TO MARINETTE'S TENT!

The blunette screams as her tent collapses around her. Bluebell eyes glare crawling out of the debris.

"Guys I know I'm a heavy sleeper but come on!" She groans feeling disoriented.

The boys explain the situation, even as Zoé apologies, once again looking back to the battle at hand.

"Thanks Alya, that's good Contest move."

"Huh well your welcome." Alya blinks from Zoé's unexpected compliment.

"Bulbasaur run around Ampharos and keep moving!" Tho confused does as ordered. Ampharos glares defiantly. Zoé grimaces but soon snaps the fingers of her right hand.

"That's it! Ampharos use Discharge, then turn into Fire Punch!" Zoé pumps her fist out excitedly.

Ampharos grins shooting high voltage in all ways. Bulbasaur zigzags but still gets hit. Trying to shake off the pain, when opening her red eyes, Ampharos's Fire Punch meets her face.

Bulbasaur goes flying into Alya's stomach both smack into the Viridian Forest floor. Of course Bulbasaur has swril eyes. . . As does Alya both knocked out!

"Oops Ampharos, I think we are overdid it." Zoé states so sheepishly.

Yet Nino runs up to hug her. As Marinette and Adrien go check on Alya.

Adrien hands over the girl's flung eyes, she smiles small taking them. As Marinette offers her a hand up.

She looks to Bulbasaur, whom stares down dejected. "Hey! They were tough, and we held on. Don't be upset. Next time, we'll beat them."

Alya glares but still smirks as Nino kisses Zoé's right cheek. Bright blue eyes look to Alya across the way, smiling too.

AFTER A SURPRISINGLY GOOD BREAKFAST. . .

"Wow, Marinette I knew could handle. But Nino that bacon/cheese omelet was great!" Alya complements her ex-boyfriend, as the gang walk long.

"Indeed, Nino that was quite delicious. Kirila and Budew enjoyed it as well." Kagami remarks as Adrien has her shoulders under his left arm.

The dark skinned boy smiles bashfully. "Well I knew I had to feed my peeps and Pokémon. Plus praise the baker here, Marinette showed me the basics." Nino reveals as now Marinette blushes.

THUD

"What was that?" Marinette questions as the 2 couples and 5th wheel run to find among the trees a Pokémon with sharp talons perched on a branch, not paying mind to them.

Nino takes out his green Pokedex. It activates still the Pokémon doesn't move. Just sadly staring down at the groaning mess hidden by the bushes.

- Noctowl The Owl Pokémon. . . Its eyes are specially adapted. They concentrate even in faint light and enable it to see in the dark. -

"It's so focused. . ." Adrien states wondering as Alya and Marinette together move some bushes as why. Only to find a man in a brown mask and costume groaning starting to sit up.

"Ohhh that's the last time I sleep in a tree." Noctowl hoots as if to say You said that before.

"Hey there kids. Are you lost?" He springs up strongly. "Then have no fear, for The Owl is here, HOO HOO!"
