As all of Paris was going to sleep, a temple in the middle of the Amazon was being attacked.
"I was expecting more from all of you," said Hawkmoth as he headed toward the temple while walking around some people who were scattered around the ground.
"You don't know what you are doing," said one of the people as he grabbed Hawkmoth's leg to try and stop him from moving any further toward the temple. However the man was unable to stand to confront him any further.
"The thing in there can't be controlled and will destroy the world," he said.
"And I'll just rebuild it when I get my hands on my true goal," said Hawkmoth before using his free leg to kick the man away. Once inside the temple, he walked over to a pedestal where a golden choker sat.
"Finally, the Kwami of Knowledge, Quetzz," he said while taking the choker.
"Who has awoken me from my sleep?" asked a little blue feathered serpent Kwami that appeared from the jewelry.
"You're new master is who," said Hawkmoth.
"I do not obey any human with wickedness in their heart," said Quetzz.
"Oh, but you will," said Hawkmoth before he started to recite a spell at the same time he sent out an Akuma.
"No, you can't use that spell, it'll doom your… agh!" screamed Quetzz as a blood red light radiated from him. Back in Paris, Tikki had suddenly been awoken.
"It… it can't be," said a terrified Tikki, causing Marinette to wake.
"Tikki, what's wrong?" asked Marinette.
"Another Kwami has been found, but it's being corrupted by the Butterfly Miraculous," said Tikki.
"That's possible?" asked Marinette who was both shocked and terrified.
"It is, but it puts the whole world in danger to do so as it puts everything out of balance and it will especially do so with this Kwami," said Tikki.
