Chapter 79 Ishida Clan

Rai was with Merida as the two walked out together around the kingdom.
"It's hard to talk to my mother when she's too excited." Merida said.
"Yeah, but hey, it's not like it's the worse thing ever." Rai said.
She sighs since he knows he's trying to make her feel better.
They stopped to see another stranger to this world, it was a guy with brown hair, clearly American, and wearing a black jacket with a hood.
He looks at them and Rai said: "Hey."
The guy stares and waves his hand at them.
"So, who are you?" Merida asked.
He stares at her and does a few signs with his hands.
"What?" She couldn't understand.
Rai's eyes widen. "Oh, he's deaf."
"What?" Merida got surprised. "Well, sorry."
He nodded that it was okay.
"It seems that he can read lips." Rai said.
Some of the people that can do that are good.
Rai takes out a piece of paper and pen to give it to the guy, he writes his name and they saw it's Dane.
"Okay, nice to meet you Dane." Rai said.
"Yes... This is weird." Merida mutters to herself.
Rai takes Dane to the side since he doesn't belong to this world and he wonders where he came from.
"Well Dane, it's a long way from home and..." Rai got cut off when they saw the three clans coming.
"Damn it." He said.
Dane got confused seeing that and wonders who they are.
At the castle the three clans MacGuffin, Macintosh, and Dingwall came inside as the lords went foward.
"Well Fergus, we heard your daughter picked that young lad from before." Lord Macintosh said.
"Well it's her choice, she liked the boy." Fergus said.
"Yes, and it's a great moment as we will be having my daughter's wedding with Rai." Elinor said.
"Well will any of his family come?" Lord Dingwall said.
"It would be interesting to see what his family members are." MacGuffin said.
Fergus and Elinor looked at each other and wonder what they'll say about Rai being a orphan.
Rai and Merida were also nearby and they got nervous.
"What are we going to do now?" Rai said.
Someone patted his shoulder and he looks back only to get shocked. "What?!"
They heard someone come in and it was Mitsunari as he goes foward. "Greetings."
"Oh, hello." Elinor said.
"So who are you stranger?" Fergus said.
"My name is Mitsunari Ishida, Rai's family member." He said.
"Oh, then welcome." Fergus said.
"What's with the fan, trying to be femine?" Dingwall said making the others laugh.
"With his long slender hair." Macintosh said.
Mitsunari sighs and slaps them with his fan making all three grunt as they fell down.
"That should teach you three a lesson." He said.
"Well would you look at that." Fergus said.
"I have been in many wars back in my home. So even with a fan it is a weapon in my hands." Mitsunari said.
"Okay, well we'll show you what we can do." Macintosh holds his nose.
Many women looked at Mitsunari and they talked about how handsome he is.
"As much as I like the attention, my heart belongs to my wife." Mitsunari told them.
"Would your wife join us?" Elinor asked.
"My wife? Well i'll have to ask her to come, she's a warrior true and true." Mitsunari said.
"Merida will like her new in law." Fergus chuckles.
"Fergus." Elinor looks at him.
"Well Mitsunari, we'll give you a room so that you can enjoy the wedding." Fergus said.
"Thank you." He goes out. "I'll have to see Rai first."
"Of course, the meeting is over for now." Elinor said.
Mitsunari goes up to Rai and his grandson said: "Why did you do that?"
"I know you don't want to get married too soon, but you needed a family member, and I can have a body for now." He said.
"How can a dead man do it?" Merida said.
Dane was also stunned seeing a legend in front of him.
"A little thing I found called gigais." Mitsunari said surprising Rai. "I found it for some time, now I will have to say you would need to be ready as those monsters will come again."
"Those things." Merida said.
"Yes." He nodded.
"Well this isn't good." Rai said with Dane nodding.
"Say, would I see your wife?" Merida asked.
She got curious seeing Hisako hearing the stories about her from Rai.
"Well I was thinking having Chiharu join us, she would like to be with her family more." Mitsunari said.
He wants Chiharu to join the celebration as it can be good for her, since her mental state needs help.
"Say, did you know where her sword is?" Rai asked his ancestor.
"Her family sword, I don't know, but it might come to you one day." Mitsunari said.
He thinks her sword can help her, since the naginata has darkness inside from all the blood it spilled.
"Now i'm curious to see how she was in life." Merida said.
"Well for now, you must be careful." Mitsunari said.
"Okay." Rai nodded at him.
"Let's go Dane, i'll show you around." Rai takes him with him.
Dane makes a hand gesture asking if he was going to get married.
"It's complicated, we'll just have to see if it has to happen or not." Rai said.
Mitsunari goes foward and he thinks how much Chiharu had to defend her family, once a mother in law to one of the female members of they're family, tried to poison her grand baby to get rid of it.
But the punishment she received was severe.
Flashback
A woman goes to take a bottle to the baby that's in a crib to poison him, but then she heard a growl.
The MIL looks back and she saw Hisako glaring at her making her scream as she got dragged the way, the bottle falls down to the ground as it shatters into pieces.
The baby cries in fear and Hisako goes towards the child and rubs it's head to calm it down making the baby sleep.
She smiles before going away with the MIL vanished from this world.
Flashback ends
"She will do anything for her family." He said.
Hisako will always protect the family when they're at they're weakest as it pains her to lose any family member so she will make sure the family line continues.
Note: A new stranger appeared being Dane from Quiet Man, game wasn't good but the character has potential and Mitsunari appeared to represent Rai's family.
