Once at the park, Ladybug and Cat Noir found themselves in trouble when it came to fighting the Master.
"How is he getting stronger by the second?!" asked Cat Noir.
"The Kwami of Knowledge is trying to get control of his body, he's no longer in control," said Ladybug after noticing the scales and feathers taking over more of the Master's body as time went by.
"I will have my wife return to me," said the Master.
"No matter what I have to do in order to make it happen!" he said before punching a tree after Ladybug dodged behind it. Meanwhile, Alya and Nino were out in the city heading to Marinette's place.
"This is insane, Alya!" said Nino over the roar of the thunder.
"Mari needs our help," said Alya while dodging a newspaper that flew at them.
"I'm sure she's fine, after all she's at home with Adrien and her parents, so how about we head back to my place?!" asked Nino.
"No, she and Adrien are out there fighting to protect the city!" said Alya as she turned to look at him.
"Wait, you mean…?" asked a shocked Nino.
"That's right, and it's why we are heading to Mari's house to get help for them," said Alya before taking off. A few minutes later, Ladybug and Cat Noir were scattered around the ground of the park which had been destroyed.
"Alright, can we bring the Negatives back?" asked Cat Noir who was using his bow staff for support while sitting up from the cracked fountain which was spewing water everywhere.
"They were at least a little easier than this to deal with," said Ladybug while trying to get some leaves out of her hair.
"Soon, we'll be together again my dear," said the Master as a blast of black and red energy shot at the heroes who were too exhausted to move.
"Shelter!" called out a voice from the night. A green barrier formed around Ladybug and Cat Noir in time to protect them, but everything around the two had turned to dust.
"Carapace, Rena Rouge?!" asked a surprised Ladybug while she looked at her friends and fellow heroes who had landed before them.
