First, Happy Christmas everyone. Yes it's been a while but writing should be going faster now that I have 15 volumes of the Manga/Light Novel*

'Oh my head hurts.' I thought as I began to stir the last thing I remembered was naming Zino with my dear and then the two of us passing out.

As I began opening my eyes I saw a pair of female goblins, though they didn't look like how they did before we passed out. One of them was holding still waking up Rimuru in her lap. I also noticed that there was a weight on my side. And looking over was my dear Flora still asleep.

Nudging her slightly seemed to cause her to stir a little. After a few more nudges she also began to wake up. She made a small squawk as she woke up drawing the attention of the other female goblin.

She quite quickly stood up and stuck her head just outside of the large tent we were in and yelled to what we assumed were the others, "Lord Grim and Lady Flora are awake!" She yelled.

She then jogged over to us before taking a knee in front of us at which I noticed that she seemed to have some scales along her arms and her legs. At a cursory glance one could mistake them for scales off a small Rathian. She then spoke again, "My lords, it is nice that you are awake again." She said with thinly veiled excitement.

"How long were we out for?" I asked in a low grumble, after all I had just woken up.

She jumped a little at my voice since again I had just woken up and was a little grumpy because of it.

"My name is Beatrice, my lord." She said.

At that Flora, who was finally lucid again, spoke, "I remember you, you were one of the Goblins I named." She said.

At that Bea smiled, "For that I am eternally grateful for, my lady." She said, bowing her head.

After that we heard a surprised yelp? Come from over where Rimuru was. Looking over we saw that Rimuru was awake and with his awakening caused Rigurd to walk in. And he was not the old gobbling he once was standing over Rimuru who was shocked at the change he had undergone.

Rigurd then told Rimuru that the feast was almost ready for us. At that we got up, with a little protest coming through [Royal Bond] from Flora, "I was comfy damnit!" She exclaimed standing up. I noticed that we had grown again. Now being fully grown Raths, though still on the smaller side.

As we walked out of the tent we came across another pair of goblins, one being female, the other male. Rimuru looked confused but he likely forgot that Veldora explained that names hold a lot of value to monsters. More power and obviously physical changes.

Soon after we spotted two wolves standing in front of us both being about the same size. One was the wolf that Rimuru had named Ranga. He stood above Rimuru looking down looking intimidating. Apart from his tail wagging so fast that he was forming a small cyclone.

The other was a Zinogre. Also on the smaller side standing at about the same size as Ranga though a little taller. She then spotted us and walked over before bowing her head to me and Flora. "I am happy to see that you have awakened my lords." She said.

Looking her over it didn't take a genius to realize that the Zinogre in front of us was Zino. The daughter of the Direwolf alpha that we had named. Her tail was also wagging though it was brushing the ground causing some of her fur to start standing on end as she built up static.

Greeting Zino back we began walking towards the rest of the goblins, [My lord and lady those around you are no longer merely Goblins] said a voice. Looking over to Flora she was also confused.

Speaking in my head I asked the voice who it was and it responded, [I am a part of Royal Bond, I am to serve as an Advisor to you and your Lady] said Advisor. At this I just accepted it and so did Flora. Rimuru told us about Great Sage while we were trying to find our way out of the cave.

Eventually we spotted a male goblin that had scales, however theirs seemed to be a red like mine so I asked Advisor about them. 'Say Advisor, what are the goblins with the scales?' I asked Advisor and it replied.

[These goblins have evolved into Wyvernkin Hobgoblins and Goblinas]

Anyway after that we went to the feast where Rimuru tried to make a toast which confused the Hobgoblins and Goblinas present.

After the feast, which was a delicious mix of both venison and other meats and also foraged vegetables and fruits, we decided to sleep. This lead to Flora cuddling against me again.

The next day we called a meeting of everyone in the village. And after attempting to act like a principle. Which again was met with silence. But we then moved onto why the meeting was called.

"As you can see, our little group has grown larger.so in the interest of avoiding trouble, we want to lay down some ground rules." Said Rimuru.

"One: There will be no infighting" said my dear.

"Second," I continued after her, "Just because you evolved, that doesn't mean you're allowed to look down on other species."

"Three: No attacking humans." Ended Rimuru.

At that Rigur, Rigurd's son, asked a question, "Why mustn't we attack the humans?" He asked.

At this Rigurd was about to yell at his son only for me to stop him, "That is a good question. The reason why we shouldn't attack humans is twofold, first: Generally there are more humans than us and attacking one is likely to cause more to appear," I said, " second: it would be better if we didn't since they can be kind people who want to help."

After that we began setting up roles within the group. Hunting parties, foraging, and other things like it. Then Rimuru decided to appoint Rigurd as Goblin lord to be in charge of the village.

At this he took with gusto and then we inspected the one "building" left from the construction of the fence. To say it was shoddy is putting it lightly; a stiff breeze could make it collapse.

"We're going to need a technician of some sort to help," I muttered. But Rigurd overheard me.

"There are some we've traded with in the past," he said, "Quite handy folks well-versed in the art of building homes."

Ranga then asked who they were, and Rigurd replied by saying they were Dwarfs.

That'll be useful. He then stated that the trip would normally take two months but with the tempest wolves it would be much faster. Rimuru decided that it would be best if he lead the negotiations and that me and Flora stay here.

Which makes sense, we assumed that they were friendly with monsters. However there's a difference between a monster and a pair of Wyverns. So when the expedition left for the Dwarven city of Dwargon. We gathered Zino and told her that we should go explore the nearby area. See if we can't find something interesting. That was the excuse at least we mainly just wanted to actually fly can't exactly fly in a cave and we had only been out in the forest for at most a week and most of that time was spent sleeping.

To maintain contact we activated a skill that all of those named by us obtained, [Wyvern Communication] a skill that all those now either being Wyverns or part Wyvern, like the Wyvernkin back in the village.

Soon we were prepared to take flight with Zino being ready to follow us.

Then in a single motion me and Flora were airborne and flying. After that we heard a familiar howl of a Zinogre and soon climbed about 400~ feet into the sky.

When we leveled out and looked down we saw lots of trees moving but there's also a Zinogre down there trying to keep up so it makes sense. Looking out to the horizon it was beautiful. A beautiful view of the nearby forest and a close by lake.

Eventually after some more 'surveying' we came across a patch of grassland. And grazing on it was a herd of larger than average deer about twice their normal size. Using [Wyvern Communication] we informed Zino of the herd.

"(Those would be Highland Deer, my lords. It would've taken a dozen direwolves to bring one down.)" She said through [Wyvern Communication]

"Well," I said with a chuckle, "We aren't direwolves."

Me and Flora began circling the herd, unaware of our presence. Nor of Zino's stalking closer to them in the tree line. Soon we saw Zino ready to pounce on one of the deer.

"(Begin the hunt!)" I bellowed through the communication and with a roar me and Flora dive bombed onto a pair of grazing deer. At the same time Zino pounced onto another deer that strayed too close to the tree line.

Within 10 seconds the rest of the herd was running away into the forest missing three of their number.

Now with a successful hunt, we were tempted to just eat the three dead deer here. But seeing as they were large enough that Zino would have to drag hers back and me and Flora would need to haul ours with both talons we decided to drag them back. It might take an hour or two longer but it was worth is as they could be cooked and the three could feed the entire village for at least a days worth of meals.

And so began the trek back. It took a while but when we got back everyone was excited to see. Over the next four days as we waited for the expedition to return we saw that the female Wyvernkin had longer claws than the other Goblinas and when we asked them they activated a skill [Poisoned Claws] something as small as a scratch could poison a target.

All I'm gonna say is I've been playing too much For Honor recently*

As for the Male Wyvernkin. They seemed to inherit my ability for fire. And my higher durability.

On the fifth day of the expedition being gone, we noticed that our scales and such seemed due for a shed. The Wyvernkin quickly gathered the discarded scales, and plates. Then we were approached again by Beatrice, she was holding two jewels in her hands.

One was green similar to a green ruby and her other hand was a ruby. Something we quickly realized were Rathian and Rathalos Rubies. A very rare material that can be naturally made by the Raths.

"My lords," she said, "as we were looking through your sheds we found these two jewels among them. What should we do with them?"

"Keep them, they could prove highly valuable." Flora said. And for the next r days we settled into a routine. Wake up, eat, take a flight and then interact with our village and helping where we could. Getting wood or even just helping carry back materials from hunt.

After a week of the expedition departure during a morning flight we noticed the expedition returning, likely with Dwarfs in tow given the 4 very much not goblin forms on the back of some of the wolves.

We told Zino through [Wyvern Communication] about their imminent return to the village.

Me and Flora decided to have a little fun with the soon arriving Dwarfs. So we silently followed them from a distance. Soon enough they arrived at the village. And just their reaction to Zino was funny, a pure shock on their faces when they saw her. They quickly realized their shock and shook themselves of it and that is when we arrived.

With another thunderous roar we dove towards the village. This again drove the dwarfs into a panic due to now two decent sized Wyverns diving at them but before we impacted we pulled up and then landed not far from them.

Looking over at the quartet of dwarfs started making us chuckle. This shook the dwarfs free again sighing in relief at the reaction of the rest of the village. And soon they introduced themselves.

The Weaponsmith Kajin, The Armorsmith Garm, the Craftsman Dord, and the Builder Myrd.

Soon they were all hard at work making clothes for the Goblins, helping build homes and many other such thing.

Meanwhile in the Kingdom of Blumund

Sitting in front of the guild master of Blumund, Fuze, sat three adventurers delivering a report on the disappearance of Veldora.

Fuze then spoke, "I see. Thank you for your report." He said.

While looking at their report he spoke again, "I'm giving you three days' paid vacation including today." He said, "When that's done, head back to the forest to investigate further. You may go."

The adventurers were next seen walking the streets of Blumund, " 'You may go,' he says! Like he's the boss of me!" Yelled the swordsman.

The rouge then retorted, "I wish you'd actually say that to his face."

The female adventurer then spoke as well, "Back to that forest in three days, huh…"

The rouge then replied again, "Wish we had a longer break…"

The swordsman then spoke again, "Don't remind me…"

Then a fourth voice came from behind them causing the trio to turn around, "Pardon me, would you happen to be heading to The Great Forest of Jura?" She asked.

"My name is Shizu…" she continued, "If it's not too much trouble… do you mind if I accompany you?"
