Hello Everyone! This is NERF just wanting to update y'all. So sorry I haven't updated any story even though several of you reached out or reviewed. I'm more writing this note to you guys because I am terrible when it comes to consistency and I have always been more of an ideas kind of guy. I have a lot of ideas but I hardly ever write them down. Lately, I have been writing down ideas or premises I would like to use for different stories, especially for Stockpiling Potential. Mostly because that one was a response to my own personal gripes with how the canon story goes. I feel like I'm pretty upfront about what some of those issues are with just the first chapter. However, I would also like to introduce different ideas or paths MHA could have used without straying from the rules of in-universe. (Although, if you keep up with the manga you might be of the opinion, like me, that Horikoshi is breaking his own rules.)

In regards to this story, I would like the opinion of those who would like to see this story progress. This story was born out of an idea that I saw from a fan-comic. The comic was Izuocha-centric and showed small snippets of Izuku, as a teacher, being watched by a student Ochako. In the comic, Izuku, baring much scars, retired as a teacher and Ochako is interested in knowing about her teacher's mysterious past. He helps her with her quirk and she helps when his body breaks down (similar to All Might when he pukes blood). If anyone can find this comic please let me know. I would love to give them credit for this inspiration, but I know I'm also giving a vague description.

Back to the question I have for y'all. I am thinking of changing it up a bit in a few different ways. One idea I have is pretty much swapping Deku with Lady Nagant. As in, Deku would have been a pro-hero during All Might's prime-time, and Lady Nagant would be a fledgling hero student. Of course, with this change, All Might would have died during his bout with All for One and passed the quirk onto his trusted confidant and secret successor: Deku. For the next years, Deku rises through the ranks, hailed as the one who could fill the void left by All Might, gaining rapid fame. However, he had a fan while he did small hero work in the young Kaina Tsutsumi. Would Deku notice her and shield her from the cursed hands of the HPSC, or is her fate sealed no matter what time she is in?

If y'all would like for me to make this kind of change, Kendo would move back to 1-B and Kaina would be in 1-A. Or maybe Kendo stays in 1-A and Kaina is out in 1-B? Either way, there would be a student who is fully aware of who he is. Or should I keep that idea separate for a different story? Considering they are two very different starting points, I know it makes more sense to just have two different stories, but I really wanted to see what y'all thought. To clarify, Ochako will still be a big part because there is an intrinsic connection between Izuku and Ochako that I wish the story recognized. I feel like Horikoshi talked big game when it came to the friendship and closeness between them only for the narrative to push Izuku's and Bakugo's relationship to the forefront at every corner it could. I gotta be honest, I stopped caring about their so-called rivalry/friendship a long time ago when I first watched their fight in season 3. Beyond the cool-factor, I dont care for the fight and direction it took the story. I feel like this moment led to a lot of really annoying moments in the series that plague the story to this day. I'm sorry for the random rant. I promise to stick the reddit complaint box next time... unless y'all ask for my opinion on here lol.

Again, sorry for the ramble. I promise I am a cool person :')

Here's the options before I bore y'all with more of my nonsense:

A) Insert Kaina as a student and rework the first chapter to reflect this.

B) Have Kaina premise as a seperate story and simply clean-up the first chapter. (Cleaning up the first chapter was always gonna happen. been wanting to for a while now because it is incredibly messy and unclear.)

Minor details: for the Kaina-Izuku swap, Deku would not be scarred. He is at his prime and would be at the fulfillment of One for All. This is one of the reasons I think it would be better to just have separate stories instead of trying to combine the two. Talk to y'all later!
