The Etherious attack Ben at the same time after he threatened them. They also order the demon worshipers to attack Ben. Ben wasn't in the mood to play games so he finished them off quickly.
Ben used his Sun Devil Slayer's Gravity Magic to pin the demon worshipers to the floor. Then he flashed to cut all their tendons which will fully immobilize them. He only targeted the demon worshipers for now because they are easier targets.
The demons can only watch as Ben defeated all the demon worshipers. He is very fast, so fast that they can't even follow his speed with their eyes. Now they realized that their enemy isn't a pushover but a monster who is very angry.
"What are you looking at? It's your turn." Ben said after he was suddenly standing in front of them.
The demons were surprised and they jump back in reflex. Ben moved a lot faster than them because he knew how they would react. He flashed behind them and kicked the butler demon to the floor before kicking the kid demon towards the ceiling.
As for the purple-haired demon, Ben grabbed his neck and gripped it strongly. He also placed his left foot on the butler demon that laid on the floor while increasing his weight with Gravity Magic, so the demon can't move. The 3 demons can't even show their power off because Ben's attacks were too fast.
"I was planning on seeing your Curse power for research. But I don't care about that anymore. Tell me where the children are and I will give you a quick death." Ben said with an intimidating tone.
The purple-haired demon is struggling to break free from Ben's grasp, but he smirked after hearing Ben's demand. "I am not honorable enough to tell you that."
Ben increased the strength of his grip, but then he paused and looked down. The butler demon's body suddenly dried up and a black liquid-like substance came out of it. The black liquid formed a lot of tendrils that snag Ben's left foot and climb up his body.
Then, the black liquid tried to enter his body through the pores on his leg while still climbing his body. But then, the black liquid that penetrated his pores was burned. The black liquid demon screamed in pain as it jumped away from Ben's body.
"Wha-what did you do?" The black liquid demon asked after squirming on the floor like slime.
Ben smirked seeing the demon squirm in pain.
"You tried to enter and take over my body, huh? It seems your power is to take over other people's bodies like a parasite. This butler guy must be a mage or maybe of your demon worshipers." He said.
"Grr, don't be so cocky, human. I will find a way to take over your body and gain access to that power of yours. Then you won't be able to be cocky anymore." The black slime said.
"Heh, you won't be able to pull it off. You can't handle the sun itself." Ben replied smugly.
He had every right to be that cocky because his body is comparable to the sun itself. He has Sun Devil/Dragon/God Slayer Magic in his body, making strong solar energy flow throughout his body. The Sun Devil Slayer Magic is potent enough for demons, but he has 2 more magics of higher tier.
"Then how about this?" The kid demon asked after suddenly jumping on Ben's face. He had changed into his demonic form that looks like a red monkey with goat horns.
The kid demon opened his mouth and then his eyes and mouth glow white. White light also appeared on Ben's eyes and mouth which opened without his consent. Then streams of white light flow from Ben's eyes and mouth to the kid demon's.
The other 2 demons smirk smugly because they assume Ben had been defeated. No one managed to defeat this. But their smirk disappeared when the kid demon screamed in pain and fell to the floor.
"HOT! HOT!" The kid demon screamed after holding his burning throat and mouth.
"Wha-what happened?" The purple-haired demon asked in disbelief.
"Sunshine! That is my power which gives my body and soul the energy of the sun. You thought that it was just my body that has solar energy? Wrong, my soul has it as well. You are too illiterate, so I will tell you. Magic and Curses are affecting not only one's body but also the soul. So trying to take my soul just because you failed to take my body was a stupid idea." Ben said.
The kid demon's power is absorbing other's souls to increase it's power while the black slime's power is to take over other's bodies to obtain their power.
Now the purple-haired demon was the only hope left for these demons to win. However, Ben was tightly gripping his neck and he can't break free with physical strength alone. So he needed to use his Curse power to break free of Ben's grasp.
The purple-haired demon's body suddenly released a lot of purple goo that flows on Ben's hand. He can feel a tingling sensation on his skin and knew exactly what caused it. Poison, a very potent poison that can kill even high-ranked mages.
"It's been a long time since I've been up against someone that uses poison. Your poison is the strongest of anyone that I've faced in the past. Sadly, it's not enough." Ben said while burning the poison using his strong solar energy.
Ben also burned the purple-haired demon, but he held back to avoid killing him. It's just enough to hurt him and burn all of the poison that came out of his body.
"Your types of Curse are the strangest that I've seen so far. I would play with you longer if you didn't have hostages. But I can't do that now, those kids need to be rescued immediately. Now tell me where the other kids are." Ben said while pulling the kid demon up with his free hand.
As for the black slime, Ben created a hot sphere of solar energy around it to prevent it from escaping while making it suffer from the heat. He also had strong heat flow to the other 2 demon's bodies. But the 3 demons kept quiet so Ben increased the heat that flowed through their bodies.
Finally, the black slime couldn't take it anymore and told Ben what he wanted to know. "Stop! I'll tell you, I'll tell you."
Ben lowered the heat just on the black slime while the other 2 remain the same.
"Speak!" He ordered with a low tone.
"The-they are dead. He ate their souls because he said children's souls are very tasty. That's also why he has the appearance of a child. It's because he ate a lot of children's souls." The black slime said while looking at the kid demon.
Ben was completely furious now, so he decided to torture the kid demon more. He slammed the purple-haired demon on the floor before stepping on him. Now with his left hand freed, Ben started to torture the kid demon.
The heat torture is not enough, so Ben started breaking it's fingers one by one. "Release the children's souls now and I will stop. Resist, and I will do something more painful."
"ARGH!" The kid demon that looked like a red monkey screamed in agony as Ben broke his fingers one by one. He finally gave up on the 7th finger and releases all the souls that he has consumed. The kid demon didn't just eat children's souls, but also adults', so the quantity is high.
"Re...le...a...se me...please." The kid demon said.
"Where are their bodies?" Ben asked.
"I-I don't...know, the hu...mans dis...posed of them." The kid demon said.
Ben dropped the kid demon before tying him up with the other 2 demons using a light chain. Then he approached the demon worshipers who had their tendons cut.
"You know what I'm capable of, so I don't want to waste time. Tell me where the children's bodies are and you won't need to suffer any longer." Ben said.
Almost all of the demon worshipers remain silent and then try to kill themselves by ingesting a lethal poison in their mouth. Ben moved quickly and broke their jaws, so they can't bite down on the capsules. Then finally, a man spoke before Ben broke his jaw.
The man gave Ben the location which was deep inside the cave. Then he begged Ben to kill him quickly, which Ben did by cutting his neck. The other demon worshipers look at Ben in horror because they were too late to talk and got a quick death.
Ben then incinerated them all with a weak black flame courtesy of his Sun God Slayer Magic. The fire will leave to suffer for a long time before killing them. He did the same thing to the demons but used Sun Devil Slayer Magic on them.
"I really can't hold my temper back when people get children involved in shit like this. Let's finish this quickly and go back, I need to put my mind at ease." Ben said as he went down the tunnel that the demon worshiper pointed to.
