"Geez, Romeo, how much cologne do you need?! I can barely breathe!" Asuka whined as Romeo sprayed cologne on himself before messing with his hair again to make sure it looks good. He is wearing a crimson shirt with black jeans and black shoes. "Sorry, Asuka. I'm going on my date with Wendy for Valentine's Day!"

Asuka smiled. "Oooh! Where are you going?"

Romeo grinned. "Can't tell you, it's a surprise."

"I won't tell!"

Romeo chuckled. "Sorry, Asuka, I can't risk it, but I can tell you I got her beautiful blue flowers, a box of chocolate, and a card with a little poem written in it."

"Aw!" Asuka cooed and Romeo chuckled again. "Anway, your parents should be back soon, so I'm leaving." He said before grabbing everything he needed and leaving towards fairy hills. When he arrives, he sees Erza and Evergreen coming out talking to each other but stopped when they noticed him. "Hello Romeo!"

Romeo smiled. "Hey guys, uh, is Wendy ready?"

"She'll be out soon." Erza answered. "You look very handsome Romeo, I remember when you were nothing but a crying brat but now, you turned out to be quite the gentlemen." Evergreen said and Erza frowned at her. "Honestly, Evergreen, can't you ever say anything nice?!"

Evergreen rolled her eyes. "Oh please, you're just cranky because Jellal did not ask you to be his Valentine's." Erza blushed. "I am not!" Before the two could go into a bicker match, they heard someone clearing their throat and looked to see Wendy.

Romeo's eyes widened when he saw her. Wendy was wearing a beautiful pink and white sleeveless dress, heart hair clippings in her pigtails, and pink shoes. She also has on pink eyeshadow, pink lipstick, and longer eyelashes, and a small pink backpack around her waist.

"Wow, Wendy, you look great!" Romeo said brightly. "Doesn't she?! I came up with her look myself." Evergreen said while looking at her nails, feeling nothing but pride in her accomplishment. "Indeed, I was worried you would make her look like you, Evergreen but you actually did a good job for once." Erza commented, making her growl but Romeo paid them no mind as he handed Wendy the chocolates and the flowers but keeps the card hidden. "For you. Happy Valentine's Day."

"Wow, thank you so much, Romeo!" Romeo smiled and kissed her on the lips, making Wendy blush and giggle sweetly. "I'll take those up to your room, Wendy." Laki offers as she takes the flowers and chocolate from Wendy. "Thank you so much, Laki."

Romeo then grabbed her hand. "Come on, Wendy, I got the whole day planned!"

The first place Romeo takes Wendy is on a romantic boat ride and Wendy smiled excitedly before basically jumping in. "Hello, young couple, would you like to take a ride around the city?" The paddler asks. "Yes!" Romeo said before he started moving the boat. "This is really great Romeo!" Wendy said with a bright smile. "I'm glad you like it." The two spend a half hour talking and laughing before they arrive at the torment of love,

a magic sporting event.

The young couple goes to see it and see Alzack & Bisca putting on a dancing show, with Asuka on Gildarts shoulders. While dancing, Bisca throws 10 coins in the air and shoots holes in them with a machine gun, while Alzack shoots with his gun's magic an explosion in the air. The coins land in Bisca's fingers and she kisses Alzack while he finishes the dance by spinning her around.

The audience applause and cheers them on. Gildarts then notices Wendy and Romeo and grins. "Hey everyone! Fairy tail's latest couple are gonna compete!" He shouts, much to their shock. Romeo and Wendy both blush, feeling embarrassed. "Wendy, Romeo! Come on!" Bica shouted. "It will be fun!" Alzack promised. Romeo and Wendy both looked at each other and shrugged before going up stage, everyone making room for them as they passed.

Wendy and Romeo hesitated before they started to slow dance, and spin around away from each other and back while wind energy appears around Wendy and rainbow-colored fire around Romeo. They grab each other and spin around together while creating a tornado of both their elements. Then when the tornado shoots up, it creates an explosion of sparkles, almost like fireworks.

The crowd roared with cheers and Wendy laughed, blushing slightly before Romeo grabbed her again and left. "So, where are we going now?" Wendy asked. Romeo smiled. "How do you feel about going to Yaijma's?"

"Ohh. Sounds good!"

"Great!"

When Romeo and Wendy walked in, Wendy was surprised to see the former counsel and fairy tail members waiting for them. "Ah, Wendy and Romeo! Please, have a seat. I have already had a table set up for you. Would you care for some Valentine's Day drinks?"

"Yes, please." Wendy said. "Alright then, be back in a moment. Here are your menu cards." He said before leaving. "Romeo, I can't believe you did all this. It must have been a lot of trouble."

"Nah! It was a piece of cake! Speaking of, let's find what we can order." After a few minutes, Yaijma comes back with their drinks. "Here you are! Two Lovely Juices!"

"Lovely juice? Sounds lovely." Wendy giggled before trying the drink and humming in satisfaction. "Hm! That's really good!"

"Now, are you two ready to order?" Yaijma asked and the couple nodded. "We would like some strawberries with chocolate fondue and cupcakes, a big plate of spaghetti, and a Valentine's cone." Romeo said.

Yaijma then left but only for like a second before coming back with the strawberries and cupcakes. "That was fast!" Romeo exclaimed. "Enjoy." Yaijma said simply before leaving to give the couple privacy. Romeo shrugged and began feeding Wendy the strawberries, Wendy doing the same. Then they eat their spaghetti and then finish their valentine ice cream.

Once finished, the two got up and started heading out. "Thanks for everything, Yaijma!" Wendy said. "You two have fun!" Yaijma replied as the two left. "So, should we head to my place? My dad's gone on a mission, so it will be just the two of us."

"Sure!"

…

At Romeo's house,

When they went inside the house, Romeo points to a hot tube he prepared earlier. He lights a fire on, and the hot tube starts to heat up while turning on the bubbles and slowly taking off his clothes in a different room. "Do you have your swimsuit?" Romeo asks while coming out. Wendy looks away shyly and starts blushing. "Um, no b-but if it's ok with you…I could maybe go without my swimsuit?" Romeo blushes deep red but slowly nods. "S-Sure, that's fine."

Romeo then went to the hot tub as Wendy went to get ready. Wendy then appears and shyly goes to sit next to him, Romeo trying not to stare at her nude body as she did. He then turns on a tv lacrima and turns it to a romantic show. After a while, Wendy speaks. "Romeo?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you mind if I ask you a question?" Wendy asked softly and Romeo looked at her. "No, of course not."

"Why do you like me?" Romeo was taken aback by the question before slowly smiling. "Because you are kind, brave, and you always look out for everyone around you, even the bad guys."

"You really think I'm brave?" Wendy said smiling. "Duh!" Wendy giggled at his response. "Now, can I ask you a question?" Romeo asked.

"Sure!"

"Why do you like me?"

Wendy smiled softly. "Because you're smart, funny, and never back down from a fight, especially when it involves your friends." Romeo grinned at that before turning back to the TV.

A few hours of talking and cuddling, they get out of the hot tube and Romeo carries Wendy in his arms, bridal style, out of the tube and they wash off the sweat underneath a shower. Wendy then notices a few wounds on Romeo's back and gasps. "Romeo what happened to your back?"

"Oh, don't worry, it's no big deal." He said while he put his pants back on. "Some asshole just hit me in a surprise attack during a mission."

"Does it hurt?" Wendy asks worriedly while putting on her clothes.

"Not anymore. Don't worry. I think it actually makes me look tough." Romeo said before attempting to put on his shirt, but Wendy stopped him. "Wait!"

"What?"

"Lay down on the couch, on your stomach."

Romeo looked confused. "Why?"

"B-Because!"

"...Ok?"

Romeo then slowly lays on the couch, curious what Wendy was going to do and to his surprise, she starts giving him a back message. Romeo smiles in slight satisfaction, and lays deeper in the couch, feeling relaxed. "Wendy, that's amazing." Wendy says nothing, she just continues to gently rub his back while occasionally kissing his wounds.

….

45 minutes, maybe an hour, later

Wendy decides to bake a delicious red velvet cake and smoked ribs in sauce with sliced carrots, cucumbers and salad, and baked potatoes. While Wendy was humming sweetly, stirring the cake batter, Romeo was cutting the food. Once everything was settled, Romeo turned on romantic music before grabbing Wendy's hand and leading her away from the kitchen.

Wendy chuckled as they slowed danced the tango/waltz while music played in the background. The song was an old lion king classic, can you feel the love tonight. They dance and kiss each other before seeing the sun go down. Suddenly, they hear the timer for dinner go off and stopped their dancing to go eat their meal. While eating, Wendy looks up at the sky thoughtfully which Romeo notices. "What is it, Wendy?"

"Nothing, just that…Do you think Lucy's spirits are watching over us? Do you think Scorpio and Aquarius can see us right now?"

"Why do you ask?"

"I don't know…just a thought that crossed my mind." Wendy admits and Romeo smiles while taking her hand. "I'm sure they are Wendy." Wendy smiles and looks back up at the sky.

Later,

After dinner and doing the dishes, Wendy gives Romeo a quick kiss on the lips and smiles at him. "Thanks for today, Romeo. I had a lot of fun." Wendy turns to leave but it seemed Romeo was not quite done with today yet. Wendy yelped when Romeo suddenly picked her up in his arms. "R-Romeo?! What are you doing?!"

Romeo grins. "I have one more surprise!" Romeo then carries her to his room, where his bed and room is full of rose petals. Romeo puts Wendy onto the bed while laying on top of her and kissing her. Wendy was startled by the action at first but then slowly starts to take off Romeo's clothing while Romeo does the same. They end up kissing and cuddling the whole night, before falling asleep together under the covers.
