[A/N] - This chapter is mostly the birth and a quick summary/fill up of the events that took place and eventually led to the Rebellion Felt like there was no need to go into details about them since the next chapters are far more important in my opinion.

The day of the labour came rather suddenly to all of them. Tywin and Visenya were discussing an important matter about the realm, having to do with the collaborations and agreements for trade she had made with the eastern cities.

Yet, halfway through the talk, Visenya had dropped her goblet to the floor and had bent forward. Not long after, her waters broke and Maester Val had been summoned to her chambers, along with two mid-wives.

Tywin had been moved out of the room, as it was common and for the first time in years; there was no true control over his thoughts. Flashbacks of the time Joanna went to labour repeated in his mind and for a moment, he truly felt the need to just barge into the room.

Last time, he was not present and he had to be told by the Maester that his wife had died; unable to see her in her last moments. Thankfully for him, his brother had made sure to hold him back and remind him to be patient.

If Kevan was not of his own blood, Tywin perhaps would have punched him but he knew what his brother said was true. The Twins and Tyrion had been taken by a servant back to their rooms, their fear and worries clear in their green eyes as Visenya screamed due to the labour pains.

Tyrion was too young to remember but he did not wish to see another motherly figure dying during childbirth. The Twins, on the other hand, who had a clear memory of what happened to their mother had a different view of things.

Jaime was genuinely concerned about it, having grown to like Visenya. Cersei still did not truly tolerate her; especially due to how close she was with Jaime. However, she did not wish to see her death upon the birthing bed, mostly because she knew it would destroy their already cold-hearted father and she was not ready for that.

The labour had been painful, what had been described to her paled in comparison. Visenya was not one to truly scream or even lift her voice but even she could not hold it that long before some contraction pains became too hard.

To her it felt like an eternity, her blood staining the white sheets as she kept fighting. It took some time but in the end; the cries of a newborn were heard inside the suddenly quiet room and Visenya could finally relax on the bed.

Somewhere during her labours, her sister had come and only then did Visenya realize she had been squeezing her hand. Catching her breath, the Dragoness panted and she could feel her birthing dress and her hair sticking to her skin due to sweat.

"Congratulations, my Lady, it is a healthy boy," Maester Val said as he took the cleaned and bundled baby from one of the midwives and headed towards her.

Rhaella helped her sister to lift her upper body slightly, resting it against the pillow as the Maester passed her the baby. She placed the newborn on her chest, arms gently holding it like a nest and only then did she take a good look at its face.

A patch of golden hair was on his small forehead and upon being close to his mother, the baby opened its bright emerald eyes to look at her; his crying was long gone now that his mother was there.

"We have a Lannister. Your lord-husband will be happy" Rhaella said, offering a comforting smile to her sister.

"At least now we know a little bit what kind of name he will be given," she said, her power to crack a joke not gone yet as her eyes never left the baby.

Just then, the door opened and Tywin entered slowly. If he had been even the slightest worried about her health and the baby's just a few minutes before, he did not show it. In everyone's eyes, he was the same Lannister they all knew; with the perfect mask on and the confidence no one could match.

Rhaella understood the message and big her sister a goodbye since now it was more of a personal time for the two of them.

Tywin gave a small bow with his head to the Queen Consort but his green eyes quickly went on the tired form of Visenya. She was lying on the bloodied bed but she was alive, her skin a little paler than before and her hair sticking to her skin due to the sweat.

Yet, she still looked as strong and powerful as she always did; despite having just given birth. The baby was wrapped in a white towel and was resting on her chest, right above the Dragon Whisperer Mark.

He slowly walked towards her with his body posture straight and his hands held behind his back.

"Come and meet your new son," Visenya said and urged him to come closer.

He did just that and stopped by the side of the bed, looking down at her. She gently lifted the bundle and passed it to him, who held it in his much bigger hands with ease. Taking a step back to be closer to the window, he observed his newborn son under the sun.

His hair had the same golden hue as every Lannister and his eyes were that bright meadow green, with specs of gold. In a lot of ways, from his colours to his face; it was clear that the boy was taking a lot after his father but there were hints of his mother's genes as well.

He smirked in pride upon seeing another heir, a normal one and a boy nonetheless. "A Lannister" he pointed out as the child stared at his father with the same green eyes he had. "Tryrstan," he said, choosing the name of the child.

Tywin, then, slowly returned the baby to the tired mother as she had to feed him. His green eyes studied her closely the whole time and there was evident pride in his green eyes. To her surprise, once his hands were once again free; he bent over and kissed her forehead in a caring way that was unlike him.

The gesture made her look at him with her lips parted, surprised by the sudden action but happy to receive it nonetheless. "You did well, Visenya. Couldn't be more proud of my wife" he continued and cupped her cheek gently before pulling back slowly.

Just then, the door creaked and three heads popped through the small opening. Tywin rolled his eyes but his wife motioned with her hand for them to approach since the kids were curious to see their latest sibling.

Cersei was the first to approach, expecting another deformed child but was met with a rather cute one. Tyrion tried to see but he could not due to his height and so Jaime lifted him on the bed before the two boys laid their eyes on their baby brother.

"He is tiny" Tyrion pointed out, since the child was quite small for a newborn but still healthy.

"Watch how he will also outgrow you" Cersei snapped, clearly in the mood to pick up a fight.

"What is his name?" Jaime asked, taking a few steps closer to look at the baby; his one hand holding Cersei's.

Visenya smiled at them and turned the baby a little bit so they could look at him properly. "Trystan...Trystan Lannister"

The same year Visenya gave birth, it was the year Rhaegar married Elia Martell. As she had promised, Visenya was there for the marriage of her nephew to his beautiful Dornish bride. The couple looked happy but there was no true love in their eyes, the marriage being nothing more than political.

Tywin, of course, attended with half a heart but his mood was hard to ruin since his newborn son was healthy and growing fast. Visenya was fast to recover as well and she seemed to have it all handled with the baby whenever it was in her arms, all while babysitting young Tyrion who refused to leave her most of the time.

Of course, the Lion of Casterly Rock did not take it lightly upon the constant neediness of his dwarf son but he could do so much with Visenya present. The only of his children who still held some apathy for her was Cersei, who had tried her best to stay away from the Dragoness as much as possible.

Most of the time she would drag Jaime with her, who was rather lonely now that Rhaegar had left for Dragonstone with his new wife; leaving him behind in the Red Keep.

281 AC – Harrenhal, RiverLands – Seat of Power: Aerys II Targaryen

It was said by many historians and Maesters of the near future that the specific year was a cursed one. Many believed that it was the starting point of the incoming war and the darkness that would spread over Westeros.

It would also be the beginning of the end for the Targaryen dynasty and it all had started by the name of a man, named Varys.

The mysterious man from the Free Cities had become rather popular in his little network of spies and King Aerys had wasted no time to bring him over, as part of his court. Of course, the King never truly knew that his sister had already met the bold eunuch a long time ago.

Their reunion was short, and formal and did not expose any of their past together; although even that past was limited to a few days time so many years ago. Visenya, however, did keep Tywin informed who already knew that his wife had interacted with him when she learnt of the assassination attempt against young Prince Rhaegar.

Busy with her son Trystan, the matters of the realm and the two boys of Tywin; the Dragoness had her hands rather full. She kept contact with her nephew on Dragonstone but was mostly occupied with the latest trouble; the Kingswood Brotherhood.

They have been harassing highborns around the Kingswood for some time now and have caused a lot of trouble lately. Tywin and Visenya formed a plan, one that surprisingly the King did not object to.

They would send a force of men, with at least five of the seven King's guards. The battle did not last long and soon the Brotherhood was defeated, although one of the King's Guard, Ser Harlan Grandison died in his sleep shortly after.

Among those that fought, was Jaime who was just at the age of 5 & 10. For his bravery and his skills was knighted by Ser Arthur Dayne and was officially a recognisable proud knight of the 7 Kingdoms.

Soon after, the great Tourney was held in Harrenhal by Lord Whent in honour of his daughter's name day. It would be the biggest one to ever take place, lasting 10 whole days and with rewards promised that was thrice as much as what Tywin had offered in the Tourney for Viserys' name day.

And everything started at that Tourney...

Prince Rhaegar would participate and so he visited Harrenhal along with his wife Elia. To support her nephew, who had also requested her presence, Visenya had also travelled to Harrenhal with one-year-old Trystan, Jaime and the big number of Lannister men; some of whom would compete in the Jousting.

There, she met again the now adult Robert Baratheon; whom she had not seen since his father's funeral, the future Lord of the North, Eddard Stark and many others. To almost everyone's surprise, Aerys attended alone despite his weakened body and mind.

He was not planning to attend but Varys had whispered to his ear that Rhaegar arranged the tournament as a pretext to meet with several high lords to discuss removing his father as king in an informal Great Council.

Fuelling his paranoia, Aerys had attended and that forced Tywin to stay back; to ensure King's Landing was in good hands but also because he did not wish to be more in the King's Presence than he had to.

The two siblings sat next to each other in the Royal Booth along with Elia, but Aerys barely spared a glance at his sister. He had heard of her birth but upon seeing the child being another Lannister, his face twisted and he had stormed out of the room.

After that, he barely acknowledged his own nephew or his sister, whom in his eyes he saw as a conspirator. He was certain that she had her hand in this sinister plan of Rhaegar, working alongside Tywin to bring him down but he was not going to allow her or any of them.

To make sure to harm Tywin, Aerys had done the unpredictable and named Jaime as a King's guard, forcing him to take the oath of never having titles, land, wife or children. This meant that Jaime was no longer the next Lord of Casterly Rock and when Tywin eventually found out, he was furious.

Amongst other things, Aerys had sent Tywin back to King's Landing to guard the queen and Viserys, thus forbidding him from participating in the 7-day Tourney.

Visenya chose to stay, despite the pleas of her good-son or the letters from her husband; wishing to be there for Rhaegar. Yet, as she would look back at those days, a much older version of herself would regret that decision.

Why?

Because she ended up being present to the first spark of the upcoming war, when her nephew; became the winner of the Jousting. He had the right to name a woman as the new queen of love and beauty and instead of choosing his own wife; he instead chose the northern beauty Lyanna Stark.

The Gossip spread like wildfire that day since not only was Rhaegar married but the Stark girl was engaged and promised to Robert himself, who happened to be sitting close by when Rhaegar presented with a crown of blue winter roses.

The very same night, Visenya herself had a long talk with him; one that many would describe as a mother scolding their child. By the end of the Tourney, the Dragoness thought that her nephew had realized his mistake and would stay away from Lyanna but she was mistaken.

[A/N] - We are getting closer to the Rebellion and the Time Skip. I am so excited but also nervous to enter the main timeline of the books and series.

Thank you all for your amazing comments and allow me to ask you, what do you want to see after the time-skip? We can start with the visit of Robert at Winterfell and focus on Visenya's & Tywin's son; Trystan. Or, we can skip it straight to the first appearance of them (like in the shows), where they are leading their armies and eventually return after Joffrey becomes King.
