MHA: Alchemist Gamer Odyssey chapter 1

Hello everyone! My name is Darklord331 and today, I'm bringing you a special treat! One that might prove to be something interesting to read! A gamer fic story! Today, I'm here with my co-host Light/Xara.

Light/Xara: Hello. It's nice to be here.

Thank you for being here Light. I appreciate it. Anyway, you see I had this little idea after reading one of Light's/Xara's co author stories, "Izuku the Reincarnated Chef: Or "How I came back from an Isekai and still can't have a quiet life!" reaction story. I had this idea of a gamer story which I've spoken to Light before.

Light/Xara: Same with me for another story I'm thinking of as well. He was a big help with the ideas too. Good person to bounce ideas off of.

Agreed, so we bounced around with some ideas before we came up with something of a unique gamer system which so happens to be the title of the story. The Alchemist Gamer!

Light/Xara: Gamer stories do seem to be popular.

Yup, it is but it might be fun to write and check out since it's literally something similar to your Shirou cooking gamer story you wrote with Joy.

Light/Xara: Just with medicine instead of food.

Ohohohohoh! You underestimate the power of an alchemist. If you read many cultivation or Wuxianovels, then alchemist is considered to be THE most OP power there is. Examples like battle through the heavens.

Light/Xara: I think I saw a review on an anime that uses that. An Isseki genre that uses the same thing in Chinese Culture.

Only with so much pride and arrogance that is beyond any limits there is and I'm not kidding when I say that. Also their powers cultivation is on the level of Dragon Ball Z and Super combined.

Well DB is based on Journey to the West… so…

Exactly, but in any case I recommend you try reading some wuxia novels or Manhua or manhwa what ever the fuck it is. Anyway, onto the story! Disclaimer please Light/Xara.

Light/Xara: I do read manhwa, The Gamer is actually considered one, just a comic. Anyways. Me and Dark do not own any ideas or characters for the story or shows we use. The only thing we do own are OC and plot changes. How was that?

Good enough, now onto the story!

Chapter 1: [Player One Selected]

"Hmmmmm, interesting, simply interesting." A man said while observing many colors of the kaleidoscope. He was completely covered in darkness as his form was encased with dark smoke while his eyes glowed in purple. He had no limbs or showed any expression but his eyes narrowed in interest.

"What do you seem to be looking at Dark?" A male like voice asked him, making the dark figure literally named Dark shift his attention to another person or being in most cases.

"Oh, why hello there Light." Dark greeted him.

"Oh, A MHA/BNHA universe?" Light asked, raising an eyebrow.

"How can you tell with that blindfold you have anyways?" Dark asked. "Are you not blind?"

"Like in Fable univers, there's more than one way to see," he stated. "Each branching universe has its own energy."

"I see." Dark said to Light before shifting his attention back to the MHA/BNHA universe.

"So, what's going on with this one?" Light asked Dark. "I sense it's a branch that can cross into others."

Dark didn't say anything to Light and continued observing this particular universe. He hasn't said anything nor spoken to his fellow tenant.

It kinda almost annoys Light when Dark hasn't given his response.

Just then a Corridor of Darkness opened up, and a cloaked figure popped out. "What's this, a party and no one invited me?" He removed his hood, showing a long blond haired man with some stubble and glasses. "What do we have going on?"

"What do you find so peculiar in this universe, Light, Xara?" Dark asked them while not shifting his attention to Light and Xara. "That this….universe has." He continues to ask as the smoke continues to observe.

"... And I thought the guys in my universe were cryptic…" Xara said, giving a flat tone of voice. "As for what… I'm not sure… That it can cross into other universes…?" Xara guest, shrugging.

Light senses something. "Huh… Is that what I think it is…?" he asked, only sensing this in a few universes he went by, not really paying attention to them much.

Xara listened for the sound, and raised an eyebrow. "... What is that sound…? It sounds almost like Chinese instrumental music… in a Japanese centered universe…"

Dark turned his smokeless form and paid attention to Light. "Tell me, Light, what is the one thing that in MHA/BNHA makes that universe so particular?"

"I'm guessing it's Izuku again?"

"Yes, Izuku Midoriya. The quirkless boy."

"Depending on the universe," Xara corrected, stumbling a guitar he summoned, sitting in the air.

"But most come out to be Izuku being quirkless."

Xara shrugs. "Maybe. Not sure."

"Anyways, can you get to the point of the matter Dark?" Light asked his friend.

"The point is that Izuku Midoriya is always the center of attention, from the moment of his birth and how destiny has written that he would become the world's greatest hero there is. But what is more interesting is the various routes Izuku takes, vigilante, civilian, a police operator, doctor and…..villain route." Dark explained while conjuring an image of the green haired boy

"... Yeah… We already know that…" Xara said, rolling his eyes, having heard enough cryptic talk in his long life. "Are you going to get to where this branching universe is what is different from all of those?"

"What is more interesting." Dark raises his voice at Xara, making the Izuku smoke from floating above his hand as he conjures the planet Earth below Izuku. "Is that the world itself is giving its energy to Izuku." Green tendrils float from the Earth into Izuku figure as if bestowing its energy on the green hair boy. "No matter what route or the path the boy follows, the world supports its decision. Hell, the very planet Gaia loves him."

"Sounds like another [Gamer] universe," Light said.

"Or Chinese Novel/Comic universe," Xara added, waving his hand. "What's so different?"

"Could you perhaps stop being annoying or uninterested Xara!? I'm trying to explain something to you!" Dark was becoming very angry at Xara's nonchalant attitude which is pissing him off.

"I'm a Nobody, remember, I have no heart, so I can't really feel anything, or have you forgotten the Kingdom Heart's universes…?" Xara asked, reminding Dark he was a being of Nothingness.

"Right, I forgot." Dark sarcastically said to Xara. He turns his attention to Light. "How do you even deal with this annoying husk?"

"I HEARD THAT!"

"He's not so bad, he just does like anything that peaks his intrigue," Light stated. "He may not have a heart, but he does show emotions. And he does hate people being cryptic as well, with you who he's had to work for before."

"Hmmmm." Dark hummed under his breath or mouth if he ever had one. He has never known or ever bother to ask Xara about his past but he does know a lot with the Kingdom hearts dimension and the Organization XIII as he was one who actually bore witness of Kingdom Hearts itself. "I'll hold you up to it, Light."

"So can you stop being Cryptic now? Dealt with it from Xehanort and his other forms, I don't want to deal with it from a realm crafter." Xara said, unsummoning his guitar, and standing back up. "So what's Gaia got for this Izuku?"

"It's not the [Gamer] you spoke of but I'll get this straight, ALL in the universe of MHA/BNHA and in those universes, Izuku is loved by Gaia itself. That is what I find so peculiar of him." Dark said to Xara before shifting his attention to the universe again. "There hasn't been any multiverse or parallel dimension other than Izuku Midoriya himself, in all versions of him has ever been loved by Gaia herself."

"Wait… herself?" Xara asked, looking lost. "Aren't all versions of Gaia the same being?"

"In this MHA/BNHA multiverse, Gaia is a female there." Dark answered Xara's question.

"So the female goddess version," Light stated.

"Yes. Normally if there is something like one universe that is able to cross through the multiverse you, Xara or I would close the dimension tear but now…. I had a second thought."

"That's dangerous~ You thinking~" Xara teased Dark.

Light had a small smile on his lips at the roast.

"Oh, hardy-har-har…" Dark deadpanned at the Nobody. He shakes his smokey head before pulling out a bright light glowing orb. "My thoughts were, what if we were to give something to Izuku in that universe…with the power of the [Gamer] system."

"Like what? Cultivating from those same universes?" Xara asked, sarcastically. He saw the look on Dark, and gave a flat look. "You can not be serious…"

"It's similar to that concept but in a whole different meaning." Dark explained as he fiddles around with the orb. "You see, I'm a bit inexperienced with crafting a unique gamer system. I do not want to make some certain mistakes around with the gamer system."

"... Is that a good idea?" Light asked.

"I won't lie that it is a bad idea." Dark said to Light as he told him the truth.

"THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IT!?" Xara shouted. "YOU COULD AT LEAST TALK TO GAIA BEFORE DOING THIS!"

"That is exactly what I have in mind, Xara. And don't worry, this is only the various codes I have in mind for the unique gamer system. I'm not blind or stupid to make a gamer system out from scratch."

"Uh… Dark…" both said, seeing someone behind him.

"What?" Dark asked the both of them in confusion as he still holds the bright orb above his smokey hand. "What are you two gawking at?"

"AHEM!" an annoyed female voice coughed behind him.

"... Gaia's right behind me, isn't she…?" he asked, getting a nod from the two. "Crap." Dark said before slowly turning his smokey body before seeing Gaia. "Oh… well… hello there Ms. Primordial Earth."

Gaia was a motherly looking figure, curvy figure, a green dress, fair skin and her hair was plant vines, with flowers growing off them. She had her arms crossed, tapping her finger, and looking very unamused. "You mind telling me what you are doing to my system…?" she asked, irate at Dark, leaning into his face.

"Well…the thing is…uhhhhhhh…." Dark tried to say something to Gaia but couldn't find any right words to form his sentence. "You see…"

Gaia was giving him the annoyed mother's look. "Well…?" she asked, almost impatiently.

"Should we help him?" Xara asked Light.

"Do you want to anger an Elder God?" Light asked back.

"... No." Xara said to Light.

Dark struggled to say something but found it hard under Gaia's glare aimed at him that proved to be both scary and a bit of something like being ashamed in front of his own mother, that is until he remembered what he was talking about before. "Oh wait, this is perfect timing. Gaia, I want to ask for your help with something of a project of mine."

Gaia raises an eyebrow, then sees Light and Xara. "Oh, Light, Xarar, I didn't know you two were coming~!" She looked to Dark. "... Wait… Are you that friend Joy told me about?"

"Yes I am Gaia, I am his, well, most trusted friend as I help him around from time to time. Mostly about observing the kaleidoscope." Dark answered to the elder god.

"Oh, I take it you sensened this world body of me," Gaia said. "I have multiple bodies. One I have helping some watchers and another helping Shirou become a God of Cooking."

"Ah yes, Joy has mentioned that to me when he told me you were fascinated by the concept of Izuku's path to ascension as the god of cooking correct?"

Gaia giggles. "Indeed. Helped me with figuring out how to make Shirou a [Gamer] of his universe/multiverse, as well as him becoming a god, with others as well. You should see the Game Show one Izuku is in."

"I will when I have the chance Gaia. Anyway, I need your help with something Gaia." Dark changed the conversation with something that is important now.

"Let me guess, you want to add something?" she asked, figuring it out.

"You figured it out what I have plans for your beloved champion, Izuku, yes?" Dark asked the elder god. Gaia nodded. "That's a relief, here take a look at this." Dark said to Gaia as she took the glowing orb from Dark's smokey hands as it merged to his body back. "It's a bunch of codes and settings I have in mind for your champion as I am not skilled nor am I with creating a complicated system. Take a look if you can Gaia."

Gaia did so, looking at it. "Interesting…"

"I was wondering if you, me, Light, Xara and the others could work together in creating a unique gamer system for Izuku. What do you say, Gaia?" Dark asked Gaia.

"I don't mind that," Gaia agreed.

"How about you Light, Xara. Do you think the two of you can help out?"

"Sure," the Nobody shrugged.

"I don't see why not," Light agreed.

"Then it's settled, Gaia." He called out to the elder goddess' name. "Before we get started, do you have anyone who you recommend for helping out with the unique gamer system…..other than Hastor." Dark did not show any expression but his purple eyes turned sideways as if he was creeped out. "That Lovecraftian goddess girl creeps me the hell out! Don't you think so, Light?"

"I've never met them, so I couldn't tell you," Light stated.

"Once you've seen how obsessed she is with Izuku, you'll be traumatized for life." Dark shudders when he remembers the time he went into Hastor's room once, and it scarred him for life.

"Can we get back on topic…?" Xara asked in a deadpan.

"Right anyway, who do you have in mind Gaia?" Dark asked Gaia.

"Hmmmmm." Gaia said as she tries to think of someone who could possibly help them out with creating the gamer system. She perked up when she remembered someone. "Oh! I know who could possibly help out."

"May I ask who that person is, Gaia?" Dark asked the elder god.

"Sun Wukong, The Monkey King?" Gaia suggested.

"Oho! One of your children I see?" Dark amusedly replied to Gaia. "Nüwa, one of your incarnations I presume?"

"Uh… who..?" Xara asked, not knowing that name.

"Don't you ever bother to read and study some mythology Xara?" Dark replied back at Xara.

"I do… That's just one name I've never heard of… Do you know how many gods are out there…? It's not my fault I can't keep track of them all."

"That's reasonable, let me help you a bit. Nüwa, another name for Gaia or rather one of Gaia's incarnations. Gaia's Chinese form you can say." Dark explained to Xara.

"... Huh… There are a lot of deities that are really similar…"

"Just one thing Dark, she's more of a sister then a counterpart to me," Gaia corrected. "Like how Alyaya is like a sister to me as well."

"You mean that bitch who constantly tries to get Shirou as her own personal toy, Gaia?" Dark retorted back at Gaia. "And before you say anything you have to agree with me on this Gaia. You've seen what she does to many versions of EMIYA, twisting his perversion of Justice. Not just him but also other heroes as well."

"That's why I'm making Shirou the one to contract herself to him, when helping her," Gaia said. "That's why I asked The System to make him a God of Cooking candidate. … Seeing genoside on multiple universe that she had to see broke her…"

"You realize SHE was the one who sent him to exterminate those who are a threat to humanity."

"While she was broken. Those ones were made after she started doing what she thought was correct."

Light got in between the two. "Okay, we can talk about who's right, and who's wrong later, we still need to bring Nüwa and Wukong here."

"Alright as you wish Light." Dark said to him before turning his glare at Gaia. "But that does not mean I will be on good terms with her. She made her decision in the past, causing EMIYA to become who he is. I will never acknowledge her. Or forgive her for what she has done."

"I understand. But I do wish to redeem my sister, that's what all families should want, is it not?" Gaia asked.

"Let's get back to the topic, we are not discussing her and that's final." Dark said to her, already looking frustrated.

Xara shrugs. "Fine with me. I didn't like being a gacha summon in that universe anyways. And they made me a damn Caster!" They all looked at the Nobody. "... What!?"

"Nothing." Dark said to Xara.

The Nobody's eye twitched. "Can you hurry and get those two…?"

"Already here, Husk~!" a jovial voice said, making the Nobody jump and summon a literal ax guitar. It was Sun Wukong himself, sitting on his staff.

"Kingdom Hearts Damn It! How the hell did you sneak up on me!? I can hear everything with my powers!"

"Hehe!~" The monkey king giggled before he jumped from his staff and flipped around, making his signature move somersault jump before landing beside his staff. "You have to be more aware of your surroundings, Husk! Hah!" The monkey said to Xara.

"Now, now," came another female voice. They all see a half woman, half snake goddess slithering in. She had elegant robes on her, showing her status, and the same motherly arua as Gaia. "Don't pick on him."

"Aaahhh come on! He's a being of nothingness, which means there has to be nothing in his thick skull of his!"

"At least I'm not a petulant child," Xara shot back

"At least I have a brain unlike your empty husk!"

"It's a heart I lack, not a brain you moronic monkey! You're the one who has no brain!"

"Oh yeah! Wanna say that to my face Nobody?!"

Xara got in his face. "Oh gladly!" He summoned a loud speaker and guitar, while Sun pulled his staff out.

The two were then hit over the head by Light and Nüwa, the two holding their heads in pain.

"Quit it, both of you." Dark said to the two immortal beings. "Now it's not the time for arguments."

The two grumbled.

"Anyways, what did you need from us?" Nüwa asked.

"Oh yes, we need your help in developing this gamer system for Gaia's beloved champion. Izuku Midoriya."

"How so?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"With this." Dark pointed at the orb that was floating above Gaia's hand. "I have made the codes for this unique gamer but I lack the knowledge or creative ideas on making a gamer system. Which is why I need everyone's help on this important project." Dark explained it to everyone about the current situation.

"Can you explain more on what that is?" Sun asked, looking at it, taking it from Dark's hand. "Is it just an orb of light?"

"If you look inside, monkey, it's a bunch of codes like I said before and it's still not ready. I just need you, Nüwa and the rest of us to build the system along with Gaia's help."

Sun shrugs. "Sure, why not. How should we do this?"

"Gaia would instruct you on how to do so, let her do most of the work while we work together on modifying the system, does that sound hard to you monkey?" Dark asked the monkey king.

He just shrugged, tossing the orb back to Dark. "Can't see why you can't ask me to just give him my bloodline, power or hell even my staff." He lifted his Ruyi Jingu Bang. "Imagine all the possibilities he could have if he had my powers!" Sun Wukong smiled at the idea before squatting down as his tail swished behind him with excitement. "He could possibly take my title as the monkey king and I would finally be able to retire!"

"Like you would actually do that…" Xara said, dryly.

"Hey! I'll have you know I'm a respective man in the Taoist faction y'know. And I would actually give him my powers if he proves to be worthy of them!"

"Let's just get this work done…" Light groaned out.

"Agreed." Dark nodded his head before he had hardened his expression as all the people around him gathered in a circle, including Sun Wukong who no longer squatted down. "Now then.

Lets the games begin."

(Midoriya resident: Day after Aldera graduation)

Izuku Midoriya laid on his bed while reminiscing the time of his former friend Katsuki, telling him that a nobody, a quirkless person like him could ever become a great hero like All Might. The greenette tried not to let his quirkless status get a hold of him. Trying desperately to become a hero that he dreams of but even dreams can be snuffled out by reality itself. He wonders if it was possible to become a hero without a quirk, though, no matter what Izuku does, no matter what he can do…..all he could do is await the next day for the principle to give him his highschool diploma since he wasn't allowed to be at the graduation party due to his quirkless status. When Izuku woke up, he was surprised to see a blue box appearing in front of him.

[You have slept in a bed.

Your HP and MP have been restored.

All Status effects have been nullified.]

Izuku blinked his eyes a few times in confusion before he rubbed his eyes and opened them. Seeing it wasn't a trick or any of those illusion quirks the other highschoolers pull on him. "What the-" Soon another box appeared.

[Congratulations!

You have been selected to be this world's wield of The Gamer.

You can now live your life as an RPG Character.

To learn more, look at the manual on your reading desk.]

"Huh?" Izuku said in confusion when the blue box put in some texts he couldn't understand. "What manual? There isn't any books on my des-how did that get here?!" When Izuku shifted his head to his desk and pointed his hand at his desk, there was a black leather book. "Is this some type of joke or prank other people are pulling on me?! Didn't I already have enough!"

There was a knock on his door. "Izuku, is everything okay in there?" the voice of his mother, Inko Midoriya, asked, sounding worried.

"I-I'm not sure…" Izuku answered. "D-Did you leave a book in my room?"

Inko walked in, looking confused. "No I didn-" she stopped and saw the book. "Uh… Izuku, what's this…?"

Izuku picked up the book. "I have no ide-" he stopped when a new box popped up.

[This is the special book,

[The Guide to The Gamer]

Do you wish to learn this?

Y/N]

"Uh… mom… can you see this box on the book..?" Izuku asked her, hoping she can see it as well.

"What box?" Inko asked, not seeing anything.

"Huh? But it's right here-" Izuku said, pouting to the box, but hitting the Y by mistake. When he did, the book started turning into pieces of blue lights and flew into him, shocking the two. Another screen pops up in front of Izuku, having him read it.

[Congratulation!

You have now unlocked The Gamer's Guide!

You may look through the guide by saying [Guide].]

"Izuku! What happened just now!?" Inko frantically asked her son, an instant she checked all over his body for anything irregular as her parental instinct kicked in.

"I-I don't know mom! When I woke up there was a blue screen right in front of my face!" Izuku said to his mother while pointing at the blue skin beside him. "The book appeared out of nowhere like it came into existence. When I accidentally clicked on yes. it said something about me being chosen as an RPG character!" he explained to his mother.

Inko had a worried expression on her face. "A-are you sure about that Izuku?"

"I'm sure mom! I don't know if it's real or not!"

"... Do you think you awakened your Quirk?" Inko asked. "I heard of late bloomers, but this is later than any I've heard of."

"Y-You think so…?" Izuku asked, not feeling any different than before. "I don't feel any different, other than what appeared."

"Maybe we could go to doctor Uijko, he could probably explain your quirk awakening." Inko suggested this to her son.

"But mom! We haven't seen him for a very long time and he's head of the Aldera Hospital. It could probably take months to schedule an appointment with him." Izuku replied to his mother about the doctor who was the one that prescribed him.

"Don't worry Izuku, I have his direct phone line." Inko assured her son as she placed her hands on her shoulder. "Maybe…just maybe…." her eyes were slowly filled with water before tears fell down as she smiled. "This could be your chance to finally become…a hero." when she said that, another box appeared.

"Eh?" Izuku said in confusion when he saw the blue box or rather something like his quirk giving him some kind of quest he didn't quite understand. "Uhhhh, mom? Are you sure you don't see any of this?" Izuku gestured at the large blue screen in front of him. "It's telling me about going through some kind about my powers."

"No I can't see anything Izuku," Inko told him.

"You can't?" Izuku replied to his mother. "But why? How come I'm the only one who could see this blue box?" Izuku said to himself, pondering on how he is the only one who could see this strange phenomenon. His answers got answered when a blue box appeared.

"I'll let you figure it out dear," Inko said. "I'll go get set up the appointment up and maybe find some books for you to try… absorbing I guess it was?" She then went to do just that.

Izuku looked at the Quest, pressing the Y.When he did, a new box appeared.

Please call out [Guide]

"Uh… [Guide].." Izuku called outJust then a new bow appeared with this on them.

[Introduction]

[Stats]

[Attributes and AP]

[Items and Inventory]

[Abilities]

[Equipment]

[Levels]

[Titles]

[Party]

[Perks and Flaws]

[Status Effects]

[Reputation]

Izuku saw that the [Introduction] had a gold Q by it. "Guess that's where I start…" He pressed it to get started.

[Hello, and welcome the newest Gamer of the Multiverse. If you are seeing and reading this, Gaia has selected you to be her champion.]

Now Izuku was very confused and almost weirded when the supposed [Gamer] system explained to him about the multiverse. "The multiverse? How does that make any sense? Does the concept of parallel dimension really exist?" Izuku then gasped. "Gaia? The primordial Greek Goddess of the Earth?! How can this be? If she exists….. then does that mean the gods exist as well? Does magic really exist? I never thought there could be some mysterious force in the world… Mutter, mutter, mutter, mutter." Lost in his trance Izuku began to mutter some words under his breath.

Inko almost looked concerned for her son as he was back at his mumbling habits. "Uhhhh Izuku…. your mumbling again." she reminded her son.

"I am? Sorry mom!" Izuku blushed in shame before apologizing to his mother.

[[The Gamer] is a powerful ability, only given to those Gaia deems worthy in her eyes. Across the known multiple parallel universes, realities and worlds, only a select few people are deemed worthy of accessing this power. You're is a bit different though, being as it was modified a bit to be not only your Quirk, but have other features added to it by other deities.]

"I-I'm worthy?!" Izuku shockingly said to the system before his face turned red in embarrassment before bowing down to the blue box. "I-I am not worthy to receive such a gift from Lady Gaia!"

"Uh… Izuku… What are you talking about…?" Inko asked, sounding worried. If she had not seen him intigate that book from before, she'd be a lot more worried for Izuku's mental health.

"Uhhhhh, system?" Izuku called out the system, no longer believing it was some trick or deception other people were pulling on him. "Is there a way for my mom to see the system?" Izuku asked the system. Just then a new box popped up, pausing the other one.

[Party Invitations]

Who would you like to invite?

Please speak or type here:

"My mother! Inko Midoriya!" In an instant, Izuku spoke the words of an invite to the party invitation menu.

"Izuku, why did you say my na-" When his mother was about to question her son, a blue screen appeared in front of her.

Izuku Midoriya has invited you to the Party.

Do you wish to join?

Y/N

"Eek!" Inko shouted, startled. "W-What is that!? I-Izuku, d-did you do this?"

"I-I guess so," he said, he then noticed something over her head now that he calmed down a bit.

Supportive Mother

Lv 15

Inko Midoriya

Inko pressed the Y and could now see what her son was seeing, various blue box texts her son hadn't closed and reading through the context that greatly surprised her. Including the part where her son was chosen by the Goddess of the earth Gaia. "M-My baby is chosen by a Goddess…?" she asked in shock. "A-and supportive mother? Is that supposed to be my title?"

"Y-Yes mom! I-its similar to those RPG games I used to play. T-though its a bit weird considering it's literally a gaming power." Izuku said to his mother while rubbing the back of his head.

The screens continued.

[[The Gamer] has the ability to turn repeated actions into [Skills]. It doesn't matter what you can do; be it fire lasers, swing swords, shooting a bow and arrow fly or whatever else. Anything can be turned into [Skills]… even something as mundane as washing the dishes.]

"Wow, even the most lamest thing could become a [Skill]." Izuku deadpanned at the system.

"Izuku! Don't be rude to the system!" Inko scolded her son.

"Sorry mom! But you have to agree with me, do you want an embarrassment to become a skill?"

[Trust me, even some skills that seem lame, can be amazing when leveled up highly. Don't underestimate the "lame" skills. A lot of tropes are like that.]

"GOMENASAI!(SORRY!)" Izuku shouted.

[Anyways, almost uniformly, all aspects of 'The Gamer' are invoked verbally, as you have no doubt surmised by now. You have several pages with information and abilities that you can invoke merely by saying the name of the page you want.]

[First off; the [Status] Page. This displays several things; your Stats and Perks, your current Level and your current HP and MP/SP/MP, as well as your [Flaws], [Special Status], [Attributes and AP], [Inventory] and currently equipped equipment.]

[Next up is the [Skills] page. This displays all the skills you have learned, as well as their current level, a small description of what they do and their effects they have.]

[The [Inventory] can be called on separately as it's own page, so you can store items you have collected and auto-equip armor and weapons.]

[The [Perks] page shows you your current Perks and their effects they have on people.]

[The [Flaws] page shows you all of the current flaws that you have, and others, as well as their effects, negative and/or otherwise.]

[The [Quests] page shows you all the quests you are currently undergoing, as well as looking back at the quests you have completed in the past.]

[The [Status Effects] page allows you to see all the buffs and debuffs that have happened to you or others and how to counteract them if need be.]

[And finally; there's the [Reputation] page that shows you your standing with various people, Groups, Clans, Cities, Nations and Other Worlds.]

"Woooaaaahhh!" Izuku looked through and read all of the menu as the system explained it to Izuku which was a bit hard for him to follow up. But he managed to get the general geist of the powers of his newly acquired gamer powers.

"Honey….this is….." Inko had no words, she was stunned and shocked to see the list of menus the [Gamer] system had put on it. It explained every detail of its abilities and a separate menu. It amazes her to see how much potential this system has.

"W-Wait!" Izuku suddenly had a question when he reached out for the flaws part. "System! Does the Flaws affect mentally or physically? Can it affect the people who have these sorts of flaws or is it just something only that doesn't affect them-?"

[Slow down kid! And yes they can affect both. Now can I finish the explanation before you go on another one of your mutter storms?]

"YES SIR! MA'AM! WHOEVER!"

[Good head on your shoulders and good mind as well.]

[Anywho, there is one final piece to inform you about, [Gamer].]

[Every single person who receives the power of [The Gamer] has had one of three reactions.]

[Road 1; Some choose to try and ignore their power and carry on with their lives as they did before they were granted said power. True me, that never turns out well.]

[Road 2; Some become a force for [Good] or [Evil] using this power. The majority of people who receive this power take this route, although not many survive taking the [Evil] route for some reason… I wonder why…?]

Road 3: The final route people choose to go is that of the original and first wielder of this ability: survival.]

[Regardless of which path you choose to walk on your new journey, life as you once knew it is gone, never to return. But what I've been informed I've been given, you'll be using your powers for good.]

Izuku was shocked once more but more importantly the paths that the system has explained to him. He would never become a villain or be a bad person. Never! He never had any dark thoughts or did anything to commit any grave sin. When he read the last line, Izuku struggle to say something due to his overwhelming emotion, not only him but his mother as well."Th-th-that means-"

[Yes host, you CAN be a hero.]

[Now, this concludes the introduction. Kindly read the rest of the Guide for more detailed information on all that has been mentioned previously. More information will be added as you discover more aspects of your [Gamer] ability.]

[All that is left is for me to wish you good luck as the newest chosen [Gamer] of your world.]

He now had tears flowing through his eyes, unable to contain them anymore. Falling to his knees while putting his hand on the ground. His emotion was flooded with both joy and happiness, the fact that Izuku could now become he always wanted to be, something he dreamed of, something what All Might is. A hero "Th-thank you Gaia!"

The two manuals and gold filled pouches appeared and fell on Izuku's lap. "Wow, it really is an RPG. Can't imagine all these days that video games could be useful." Izuku complimented while looking at the items he just acquired.

Inko looked at Izuku's head, and winced. "Uh… dear… before you start with those books… You might want to look at your level and all that…"

"Oh right. Thanks mom." Izuku thanked his mother before he said the following. "[Status]!"

"Oh wow Izuku! Your status page looks impressive." Inko praised her son. Looking impressed by the stats her son has. He already has an aspiring future incoming for her beloved son.

"Th-thanks mom!" Izuku replied to his mother before he looked at his [Gamer] stats once again before he looked at his flaws. "L-L-Low s-s-self e-e-esteemed?" He stuttered his words. "C-can I get a d-description of that flaw s-system?"

"Uh.. Dear… I think you need to tap it…" Inko pointed out.

"O-Okat." Izuku said to his mother before he tapped on his flawed perk Low Self Esteem.

[Low Self Esteem]

[Low Self Esteem] (Active. Passive)

[Your lack of self confidence at times due to people bullying you for something you couldn't control.

More chances of you doing something reckless to prove your worth.

Note: This Flaw can be removed by regaining your Self Esteem and knowing that you are worth something.]

"O-oh. I-I see." Izuku said while putting his head down in embarrassment and low esteem which reflects the flaw perk. "I-it might take a while f-f-for me to gain c-c-confidence." He muttered under his breath.

Inko put her hand on her son's shoulder in assurance. "Don't worry Izuku. I believe you'll gain your confidence back." She said, she then got serious, looking at her son. "But what is this about bullying…!?"

An instant Izuku sweats in fear due to his mothers gaze on him and the little secret he kept from his mother when he always came back home with bruises on his face and body. Avoiding to tell the truth to his mom. He wished the system didn't placed the description of him being bullied in the past (And still in the present) "Uhhhhhhhh, i-its…..I…uhhhhh…" He struggled to say something but his low esteem and emotions clashed with each other on Izuku's mind on whether to tell the truth or continue to hide it.

[Gamer's Mind] has activated.

Just then, Izuku calmed down from his panic attack. He felt calmer and could think more clearly. It was like all the negative thoughts had gone away in an instant. He decided to go with telling the truth to his mother rather than hiding it anymore. Not now but later he'll tell her. "I'll tell you later mom, let's focus on the matters right now but I promise I'll tell you."

Inko sighs, knowing how stubborn Izuku can be. Just then a new box popped up.

[New Perk Created]

[Determination]

[Determination] (Active. Passive)

[You are willing to go through life, willing to see your desires fulfilled. This can be both a good and bad thing, depending on what you do at times.

+50% increase to all [Righteous] and [Analytical] gains.

Warring: This skill can be lost if you lose your will to keep moving forward.]

"Woah! I just made a perk!" Izuku said in amazement as he looked at the perk that was created seconds ago. Of all the games he has played, it never amazed him to see how his [Gamer] system had so much potential. Everything he could think of or create could become either a skill or a perk.

"This is amazing, Izuku!" Inko said to her son with joy and amazement. "With this, you could actually become a hero." Inko looked down, regret in her eyes. "... I should hve been more supportive of your choice… and tried to comfort you better when you were younger… I'm a horrible-"

"That's not true!" Izuku shouted, interrupting his mom. "I know what you said before wasn't what I wanted to hear… But I know you were just worried about me, you worry about me everyday…"

"... I just wish I could have given you a Quirk sooner…" Inko said, still looking sad. "Even if it was my Quirk…"

Izuku hugged her. "I'm just glad you kept loving me, even after all this time.." he said, happy for all her support.

"Sniff! Oh I wish your father could see this now! He would've been proud of you! Now your father won't have to work overseas when I tell him the news!" Inko happily said to her son.

Izuku perked up with the mention of his father. "Will dad come back home finally?" He asked his mother with a hopeful tone.

Inko nodded her head while having a happy smile. "He might Izuku once I get a hold of him."

Izuku smiled, then saw the time. "Gah! I need to get ready for school! I'll need to show Kacchan my Quirk as well. … I wonder if I have an inventory… [Inventory]." He then got it up, showing a brown box that had him on it, what was equipped/wearing on him, and boxes that he could put stuff in. "I'll put the [Cultivation] Skill Manual book and the [Magical Medicine and Alchemy] Skill Manual book. … Might show them through the book absorption as well if not pulling it out of thin air will prove it." He was starting to mutter ideas to show his new Quirk.

Inko stopped her son. "You can think of that when you get to school, now get dressed and get to class," she told him.

"Yes mom!" Izuku said to his mother as he got dressed in his Middle School uniform, and in his inventory it gave him a +2 to Defence and a +30% to INT and INT gaining. "Huh… Useful. Going to have to learn more skills and what not to get better things to help me…" He then put his bag on, seeing another slt that had a bag icon over it. "Okay, I can add other inventory slots as well, even if my space inventory might be infinite, I can get items easier through bags and pouches…" Izuku got to the door, having a new journal named, "Izuku's Quirk Ideas for the Future #1" which he was writing in. He put his new journal in his [Inventory], the infinite storage one, and got his shoes on. "I'll see you later mom!"

"Have a great day Izuku! And don't forget to make sure to not forget about an incoming appointment with Doctor Ujiko!"

"I won't mom!" Izuku yelled back at his mom before leaving his home.

This was the tale of how Izuku became an immortal, the greatest alchemist, a being surpassing the gods, but most of all, the greatest hero, of not just his world, but the multiverse as well.

This was the tale of the Alchemist Gamer Hero: Dekiru Tagayasu (Can Do Cultivate).

And that concludes the first chapter of The Alchemist gamer. Damn was this so entertaining was it Light?

Light: I think so. Give me a few ideas to add onto later on.

Which proves to be very useful!

Light: Thank you.

Now then, some or most of you know about cultivation from either reading a manhua or a wuxia novel. For those who don't know cultivation, allow me to explain. Cultivating is something like what Chinese people call energy from heaven and earth itself, gathering enough energy to break through a realm or a level. Something like leveling up in a game but in Chinese terms. Like:

Mortal realm 1-10

Spirit realm 1-10

Saint realm 1-10

Master realm 1-10

Grandmaster realm 1-10

King realm 1-10

Ancestor realm 1-10

Demigod realm 1-10

Stuff like this. It's a bit complicated as you read but you'll slowly understand.

Light: Will have to remember these for Shirou…

You might have to take notes of this later on.

Light: Is there just God realm as well I only see Demigod?

Oh yes there is, it's just a list of cultivation levels I just made, bit hard to think of it.

Light: (Shrugs) Far enough. Should we end this now, before this gets too long?

Sure. I hope all of you enjoyed our collaboration story, be sure to check out my co author/writer's profile.

Light: Thank you Dark.

Please check out his work as he made a lot of interesting stories, more specifically his Shirou cooking gamer. I hope you enjoyed the chapter and we'll see you all guys later!
