PROLOGUE!
Harry James Potter was celebrated as one of the most powerful and successful sorcerers of all time. He had surpassed the likes of Dumbledore in knowledge of Obscure magic and had outstripped Voldemort and Grindelwald in measure of magical reserves. Even Flamels, who had more than 600 years for the development of their magical core, had been surpassed by Harry James Potter, who wielded pretty dense and heavy magic within him. Wizarding Britain didn't just lack any outer threats similar to the time of Dumbledore but also was at the height of internal prosperity and modernization.
But Harry knew that none of that have been possible, if not for his seven beautiful wives, who hadn't just walked beside him when his life was in peril, but also stubbornly fought and won against it. They were all regarded as the Guardians of Magical Britain and were as revered as Harry himself was. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, it was only thanks to Fleur's enchanted ornaments that could maintain glamours strong enough to counter 'Thief's Downfall',they were able to do business in public. Thankfully the wizarding public had mellowed, and now they were not troubled beyond a few whispers and occasional autographs.
Harry thought he had accomplished quite a bit personally. After killing the Dark lord Voldemort, he along with his wives had been offered Auror training, which he and Hermione had accepted. After attending 1997-1998, as Head boy and Head girl and having a yearlong honeymoon along with his other wives they had both been apprenticed under Gwain Robards, who to their surprise they found out to be the most loyal man of Amelia Bones instead of bigoted muscle grunt of Fudge. Apparently, he had been saddled with Minster's security duty because he had mixed up Madam Bones' coffee one morning. Later when the Minister of Magic had started to show idiocy, he had accepted the permanent duty to spy on the minister. The training had gone very well, and Hermione had decided to continue as auror, whereas Harry had thought he had enough of dark wizard fighting for the time being and had joined the English Quidditch team as a Seeker for World Cup 2002 at the age of 22. After seeing his talents on the broom, neither his fame nor recommendation from his one of wives, Ginerva Potter Black, was needed. The tournament was great and both Potters on the team had blown other teams away with their performance, especially Ginny who had given a completely different definition to the meaning of high-scoring games. In the finals, Ginny had scored 46 goals creating the record for the highest points earned by a single player in a single game. Unfortunately, Britain's own defence had not been very good, and the score had been 490-390 in favour of England when the skipper of the runner-up team of the 1994 World Cup, had spotted the snitch and chased it, making the English fans' heart drop. Viktor Krum was a prodigious Quidditch talent after all. In a time like that, Harry had not lost hope and given Krum a strong chase, dodging a Wronski feint from Krum. Unfortunately for Bulgaria, Harry had taken advantage of failed Wronski feint and shot directly towards the snitch. In a second, the whole stadium had become alive as the fans cheered at Harry, who had raised his hand in the air with a snitch fluttering in his fist. England had won the World Cup, defeating Bulgaria by 640-390. Ginny had given him the second most passionate snog of his life, which had brought a goofy grin on his face. Though Harry had also found that Professional Quidditch had not been the thing for him, and he had retired much to the heartbreak of English fans.
He had joined Hogwarts as a Defense Against Dark Arts teacher along with his other wife Susan Potter-Bones who taught Transfiguration and his friend Neville Longbottom who taught Herbology in 2003. At the same time, Harry apprenticed under McGonagall as a pupil of Transfiguration. It had felt great to be teaching. Unfortunately, the rules had changed and only candidates with masteries could teach at Hogwarts after the year and Harry didn't have enough patience to pursue Defense mastery which literally took 3 years, unlike other core subjects that took only one.
From 2004-2005, Harry worked as a private investigator for 'Pottermore', which was led by his other wife Padma Potter-Peverell. Pottermore was a new organization but was butting heads with Daily Prophet for best Media agency. Harry's endorsement, when everyone learned he was working for Pottermore, had bolstered its popularity and it took just a year for it to become no.1 among its competitors. He had taken a great deal of joy in seeing his wife kick Reeta Skeeter out of her office when she had tried to apply for a job in Pottermore.
With the success of Pottermore, Harry's other wife, Daphne Potter-Greengrass, had a great idea of combining all the business from other of Harry's houses, under the banner of Potter Enterprises. Harry had learnt a great deal of things from Daphne in the course of the year as he had helped her gather everything together. Soon, Potter Enterprises consisted of Potter Apothecaries, Greengrass Import Export, Black Real Estates, Enchanting Enchantments, Pottermore, The Delicacies and Wand craft supplies. Daphne had taken hold of the business and Potter Household had flourished under her.
He had joined Luna in the Magi zoological team organized by Rolf Scamander in 2006 and had assisted her in finding the Crumple horn snorkack, on their trip to Sweden. Pottermore had published Luna's findings proudly as a slap to many who had ignored her claims as ramblings of a delusional girl.
The next year had seen Harry doing some freelance curse-breaking, for his wife Fleur Potter-Slytherin, who was at some high position in the Department of Mysteries. He had quite enjoyed the excursions in the company of the passionate Veela.
In 2008, he had joined the Aurors when he had heard the whispers about some wannabe dark lord. Much to cough*coincidence*cough, Harry was placed under the team that Senior Auror, Captain Hermione Potter was leading for 6 years. They had taken on the amateur Dark Lord very easily. With Padma using an obscure Sanskrit wide range spell to wipe out the army of inferi he had raised, Fleur dismantling the runic traps and clearing the way, Harry had taken out the upstart without breaking much sweat. Hermione had meanwhile secured the hostages with the help of her team.
It had been 11 years since that, and Harry was currently employed under Director Hermione Potter as the Head Auror. With Sirius as the Minister and Harry having Voting rights of 7 houses, they quickly got rid of pureblood favouring laws and Wizarding Britain had been on its way to modernization, all while preserving the traditions at the same time under the advice of his 5 non-bigoted pureblood wives.
His wives were no way behind himself in accomplishments. Lady Hermione Jean Potter nee Granger or better known as Director Potter, was the Department head of DMLE. Her popularity had already surpassed those of Madam Amelia Bones, Barty Crouch Senior or Lord Hardwin Fleamont Potter- some of the most popular former DMLE heads. She was considered the most powerful politician of the time, being ruthless in her actions, having a passionate understanding of the public and being favoured by the minister himself. She was already the favourite to succeed the Minister the Magic position after Sirius Black in elections that will take place in 4 months.
Lady Ginerva Molly Potter-Black nee Weasley was the most popular quidditch player of the time. She was the hero of the 2002 World Cup and was awarded Player of the Series for her high-scoring plays. Harry's breathtaking catch was already forgotten in front of Ginny's brilliant gameplay. As a skipper, she had led the English team to win in the 2014 World Cup and to the finals in the 2018 World Cup when they were defeated by Peru in a quick game by 190-50. She had also led Holyhead Harpies for 14 years and they had won the tournament seven times, five of which were consecutive. She was also the brand ambassador of Firebolt Superior, which was recognized as the best quidditch broom all over the world. She was also the winner of 'Best Quidditch Player of the Decade' leaving behind strong contenders like Krum and Peltier.
Lady Daphne Evangeline Potter-Greengrass was the richest witch all over the wizarding world. Not only had she inherited a vast Greengrass fortune after entering a consort contract with Harry, but she had also worked to make her finances grow. All Potter household had profited from her prodigious talents in marketing. She was the brain behind the success of Potter Enterprises and was the Executive Director of Potter Enterprises, leading the Board of Directors that consisted of Harry and her sister-wives. Through her skills, Potter Enterprises had flourished all while not seeming like a monopoly and threat to other start-ups or established businesses.
Lady Fleur Apolline Potter-Slytherin nee Delacour was a high-ranking unspeakable in the Department of Mysteries. She was ranked among the world's top enchantresses and had registered, a record-breaking 38 artefacts, in her name. Many of the new research by DOM had her name on it. She was also an accomplished curse breaker who had the credit of discovering and leading the operation of dismantling the tomb of Herpo the Foul. Gringotts have been crying tears of envy and regret for losing such a brilliant prospect, due to their bigotry.
Lady Padma Potter-Peverell nee Patil was the founder of current no.1 media organization -'Pottermore'. It was a boon to the revolution that was led by the Potter household and allies obscurely, as through it they were able to keep information regulation in control. Nearly every witch and wizard preferred Pottermore over Daily Prophet. nowadays. Pottermore had brought the Witch Weekly and Quidditch Weekly, adding to their already impressive network. Luna's Quibbler, which was now transformed into a magi zoology magazine, was also attraction of interest among many muggleborns.
Lady Susan Amelia Potter-Bones was a respected authority in the field of Transfiguration and was already said to have succeeded Minerva McGonagall as the Transfiguration Mistress. She was the professor of Transfiguration at Hogwarts and one of the most popular faculty there. In the coming year, she will be taking over the position of Head of Hufflepuff House, succeeding Professor Sprout. She had published 3 books on transfiguration, two of which nowadays are used as NEWTs level Transfiguration school books all over the world. The third is on animagus discussing the process and effects.
Lady Luna Pandora Potter-Lovegood was an accomplished magi zoologist and former chief editor of Quibbler. She was credited for the discovery of a completely new magical creature and had a position in the Magi-zoology guild, which is led by none other than Newt Scamander. Luna had decided to join the Hogwarts faculty as Care of Magical Creature professor this session.
All in all, he and his wives had quite the list of accomplishments even without counting their role in ending Voldemort's rebellion. But he knew, and his wives would agree with him, that the accomplishment they were all most proud of was their children.
Victorie Hermione Potter-Slytherin, his eldest was born to him and Fleur on 3rd May,2000. He had immediately fallen in love with the little bundle of joy with platinum blonde hair and blue eyes, who had latched upon him looking like a miniature carbon copy of her mother. Though the strong accidental magic she had released with her first cry made it clear whose daughter she was. His little angel had grown up now and was dating his godson Teddy Lupin. Protective Father act aside, he was quite content with her choice of boy. He had practically raised Teddy, what could one expect when you had an unreliable father like Remus Lupin, and he knew he had done a great job in doing so.
Harris Daniel Potter was born to him and Hermione on 7th July 2002. He looked like a carbon copy of himself with emerald eyes but had highlighted brown hair of Hermione. Currently, he was in his final year of Hogwarts and was a member of Gryffindor House just like his parents. Everyone predicted that Harris would have a very bright future seeing he had inherited the bright mind of his mother and the raw magical power of his father. He was actually three times under-17 duelling champion and had retired unbeaten. Despite his success in the field of duelling, he wanted to join his mother and father, in Law Enforcement, rather than continue his journey in the sport of duelling.
James Sirius Potter-Black was born to Harry and Ginny on 2nd August 2003. He, like Harris, was a carbon copy of Harry with emerald eyes but his hair had crimson streaks among black mop he had inherited from his father. Like his parents, he was natural in flying so much that he had literally started to fly before he could walk. He was currently a 6th-year Gryffindor and played Seeker for his house. He tried for the seeker spot in his first year and broke his father's record of being the youngest seeker in the century by 2 days.
Jasmine Astoria Potter-Greengrass was the black-haired-eyed bundle of happiness when Harry first held her on 3rd April 2005. She was equally smart as her mother in finances along with carrying her father's skills with her wand. She was the highest scorer in Defense against Dark arts in her year and wanted to go into the field of duelling. She had proved her determination by winning the under-14 duelling championship when she was just 12 years old. She was currently a 4th year Slytherin.
Karna Rodrick Potter-Peverell was born to him and Padma on 7th April 2006. He had soft facial features which he inherited from his mother with black shiny hair which was not messy thanks to his mother's genetics. Like every other of Harry's sons, he also had his emerald eyes. Karna, like his mother and two of his stepmothers, had an affinity towards research and he wanted to follow his stepmother's step to the Department of Mysteries. He was a 3rd year Ravenclaw.
His daughter with Susan, Lily Amelia Potter, was born on 3rd February 2008. With crimson hair and emerald eyes, Lily looked very much like her namesake. She was going to join Hogwarts, this session.
His youngest child, Zack Xenophiles Potter-Lovegood, was born to him and Luna on 27th July 2008 and he will be joining his sister in Hogwarts this year. Zack had the facial features and hair texture of his mother, but his color be it skin, eyes or hair, was all Harry's. He was through and through a mamma's boy. Luna was also equally loving to her son, and he knew Zack was Luna's motivation behind joining Hogwarts' faculties.
Harry saw his family returning to the meeting point they had discussed before separating for their personal business. It was a tradition for the complete family to be present, whenever one of the kids were fitted with a wand. They had congregated at the entrance of Olivander's, James having a large smile on his face because Ginny had bought him a Firebolt-Superior. Harry shook his head and shrank the broom, so James could keep it in his pocket, and they entered Olivander's.
In the usual creepy Olivander fashion, Mr. Olivander started his ramblings "Ahhh...The Potters! Let's see if I remember correctly, Lord Potter, second wand - 13 inches, Yew with Thunderbird tail feather core; Lady Potter, second wand - 11 inches, Vine with Nundu tail hair core; Heir Potter, 10 inches Mahogany with a Norwegian Ridgeback Heartstring core; Lady Potter-Black, second wand - 12 inches, Fir with Ukranian Iron belly heartstring core; Heir Black, 10 and 1/2-inches Blackthorn with Phoenix tail feather core; Lady Potter-Greengrass, second wand - 12 inches, English Oak with Kelpie mane hair core; Heiress Greengrass, 9 and 1/2 inches Pine with Peruvian Viper-tooth heartstring core; Lady Potter-Slytherin, second wand - 10 inches, Aspen with Phoenix tail feather core; Lady Potter-Peverell, second wand - 11 inches, Hawthorn with Thestral tail hair core; Heir Peverell, 10 and 3/4 inches Ebony with Phoenix feather core; Lady Potter-Bones, second wand - 12 and 1/4 inches, Ash with Unicorn tail hair core; Lady Potter-Lovegood, second wand - 11 inches, Birch with Unicorn tail hair core. All unyielding! I hope none of your wand is giving you any trouble?"
Everyone nodded in negative to his question and Olivander grinned satisfactorily. Like every other time, his eyes focused on Victorie who grinned and presented her wand to him.
"Aha! Yes...Yes, I remember! 11 inches of Snakewood with Veela Hair core. Your great-grandmother, from what I remember?" Victorie nodded a yes.
"Hmm... a well-crafted wand. Temperamental but suits you perfectly! Avis!" Olivander waved the wand conjuring a flock of birds, "And unyielding. Finite!", with that he handed the wand back to Victorie.
His eyes then stopped at a nervous Lily and Zack. Well, Zack was not quite nervous, most likely anticipated.
"Hmm... Heiress Bones, Heir Lovegood. Here to get your first wand, I see?"
They both nodded and Olivander started them with wands. After half an hour Zack seemed to find his wand.
"Cherry, 10 inches with the core of Unicorn tail hair. Give it a wave?"
Zack did so and was rewarded with a shower of silver sparks, which brought a grin on his face.
Lily was getting a bit dejected, seeing that she didn't find a match, whereas her brother did. Olivander narrowed his eyes a bit and rubbed his chin. He went to the section at the back and brought out an older-looking case.
"Can it be? Hmm... 10 inches, Willow with Unicorn tail hair core. Heiress Bones, go ahead and give it a swish!" Olivander encouraged excitedly.
Lily did so and she breathed in content as her wand shot red sparks out of it.
"Curious...how curious!" Olivander was mumbling. Harry's heart fell a bit. He hoped it wasn't anything like he had heard about his wand.
"What's curious... Mr. Olivander?" Lily asked in her innocent voice.
"Well Heiress Bones, your wand is quite similar to one I sold some 48 years ago. That also to your namesake, one Lily Evans who later became Lady Lily Potter. The wand is of similar length, even the wood comes from the same tree, only from a younger branch and the wand core comes from the tail hairs of the same Unicorn. You are destined to do great things, heiress Bones. Lily Evans, after all, was the one responsible for ridding us of You-Know-who, the first time around."
Harry breathed in relief. His worried face gave way to an emotional smile. His little Lily flower did remind everyone of his mother, according to the Hogwarts professors. He rubbed his daughter's head rewarding her with a smile, to which she beamed back, and the Potters left after paying Olivander necessary galleons.
As they started eating in The Delicacies owned by Potter Enterprises, Harry started pondering about the day all of this started. An unloved orphan like him landed on seven beautiful wives who loved him unconditionally and had gifted him seven beautiful children as a token of that love. He closed his eyes and sighed.
