It was early morning as Sakura, Tomoyo, and Finn were at the aquarium with their class. Finn smiled and stood near Tomoyo to protect her.
"I'm glad they decided to take us on field trips!" Sakura said.
"Same here! So much to get on camera!" Tomoyo said.
"Is that all you think about?" Finn asked. Tomoyo blushed and Sakura giggled.
"Seems like you have a secret, Tomoyo." Sakura said.
"It's not that important." Tomoyo said.
"What is it? Do you have a crush on someone?" Sakura asked.
"Sakura!" Tomoyo whined. Sakura giggled before Finn sighed.
"Just tell her. She'll figure it out anyways." He said.
"Huh?" Sakura asked. Tomoyo was shocked, but caught on.
"Are you sure? Won't the others be jealous?" Tomoyo asked.
"Jealous of what?" Sakura asked. Finn gave a nod to Tomoyo, who sighed and looked at Sakura.
'Huh?' Sakura thought.
"Sakura," Tomoyo said, "I…. I'm dating Finn." Sakura blinked twice, processing it. That was when the realization set in and Sakura was shocked.
"W-what?! When did THIS happen?!" Sakura asked.
"It was after we had discovered the body at school. I always had feelings for him," Tomoyo said, "but I could never act on them out of fear that he would reject me. That day, I just… couldn't keep it in. Seeing someone after they had been killed, my emotions were all over the place. Finn was there to comfort me through it, and that was when I confessed to him."
"We wanted to keep it between us. However," Finn explained further, "after the attack at the diner, we talked it over and agreed that we needed to find a way to tell others. We were going to start with Tomoyo's mom, but…. I think it's a good thing that you know first before her." Sakura was utterly shocked. Tomoyo then stood next to Finn and held his hand, interlocking her fingers with his.
"You aren't mad, are you?" Tomoyo asked, her face filled with worry. Sakura thought about it for a bit, leaving Tomoyo to suspect the worst and tear up. Finn immediately started to let her hand go, but Sakura shook her head, soon smiling.
"I'm not mad, Tomoyo. I'm a bit surprised at the circumstances as to HOW you told him," Sakura said, "but I'm not mad. In fact, I couldn't be happier! Now you have a reason to stay the night more often!" Tomoyo smiled and Sakura hugged her. Tomoyo returned the hug with one hand and Finn smiled.
'I hope this is how her mom reacts.' He thought.
Sakura's Breathtaking First Date
Finn, Sakura, and Tomoyo were all relaxing as the TV was on, showing a news report on the body at the school.
"According to officials," the news anchor said, "the victim was a substitute teacher by the name of Kaho Mizuki, age believed to be in her 20s or 30s. The cause of death was confirmed to be multiple stab wounds, leading her to bleed out. So far no suspects have been named, but officials are still investigating. More will be told as the case progresses. If you have any information, please inform the Tomoeda District Police." Finn then turned the TV off and sighed as Kero flew down.
"This place is starting to become depressing. Is there anything else to do? We've cleaned every inch of the house already," Kero said, "took out the trash, reorganized the basement library, AND helped Sakura and Finn practice their magic. There's not even anything good on TV to watch!" Kero then landed next to Sakura, who looked at him.
"We don't have any homework either." She said. Before Kero could speak again, there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Finn said. He got up and went to the door, opening it to see Tomoyo's mother.
"Well, hello, Finn! Isn't this a surprise!" She said.
"Ms. Daidouji? What brings you here? It isn't time for Tomoyo to leave already, is it?" Finn asked. Tomoyo's mom then shook her head.
"No," she spoke, "I'm here to deliver these!" She then held up the phone he designed and he took it in shock.
"You actually made it?!" He asked.
"I did. Everything is working," Tomoyo's mom said, "and you'll be happy to know that your number has already been transferred. Here's the other ones you requested. "I take it my number is already programmed into them." He said.
"It is." Tomoyo's mom confirmed.

"Call me Sonomi." Tomoyo's mom said. She then left and Finn closed the door, walking in with the phones. Sakura was shocked, but took it.
"I have to say. I'm impressed with how they turned out!" Kero said. Finn then programmed the other numbers into his phone, putting the proper names to them. Next to Tomoyo's name, Finn put a heart and the letters "ICE" before putting her number as the first on his speed dial. He then clipped the phone onto his belt. Tomoyo motioned him over to her, to which he obliged. The two then took a picture together and she sent the picture to him. He set the picture as Tomoyo's contact picture and she kissed his cheek. She did the same for him.
"Hard to believe you two are now a couple." Sakura said.
"Just don't get TOO serious right now." Kero said.
"Who do you think we are? Hormonal teenagers?" Finn asked. Tomoyo giggled and Kero was stunned.
"I'll just shut up now." He said. The house phone then rand and Sakura answered it.
"Hello? This is Sakura." She said.
"Hello, Sakura. This is Syaoran." A voice said.
"Ah! Perfect timing, Li! Tomoyo's mom just dropped off the phones that Finn designed! Yours and your cousin's are here, too!" Sakura said.
"I almost forgot about that! Good to know." Syaoran said.

"Y-yeah. I…. I wanted to talk to you in person. Can we meet somewhere?" Syaoran asked.

"How about that new place that just opened in town? I'll buy." Syaoran said.
"Alright! I'll see you there! I'll have the phones with me." Sakura said.
"Alright. See you there, Kinomoto. Goodbye." Syaoran said.
"Goodbye, Li." Sakura said. She then hung up and grabbed two phones.
"Going somewhere?" Tomoyo asked.
"Li said he wanted to meet up and talk. I figured I could give his and his cousin's phones to him so he didn't have to worry about it." Sakura said.
"Alright." Finn said.
"I'll see if I can sense more Clow Cards now that you found some." Kero said, flying upstairs. Sakura then put her skates, helmet, pads on before leaving. Finn and Tomoyo then looked at each other and Tomoyo stood up, blushing slightly.
"D-do you think we can go in your room for a bit?" She asked. Finn nodded and took her to his room. He opened the door for her, allowing her to walk in, before following behind and closing the door behind him silently.

"I might put the camera to good use tonight." Tomoyo said.

"I'm meeting up with someone here. Syaoran Li?" Sakura asked. The worker nodded and took Sakura to a table and she saw Syaoran sitting at it. Sakura sat down and the worker left before someone walked to them with some water.
"I hope you don't mind. I asked for some water to drink for us." Syaoran said.
"It's fine. Before I forget," Sakura said, "here's yours and your cousin's phones. Tomoyo's mom dropped them off earlier." Sakura held out the phones, which Syaoran took, and seemed to worry about something.
'Why did he ask to meet here?' She thought. Someone then came with some menus and Sakura gasped.
"Toya?!" She asked. Toya was shocked himself, but kept his composure.
"Why are you here, Sakura? You on a date with this guy?" Toya asked. Sakura got mad, but Syaoran intervened.
"You may be her brother," he said, "but she is a customer right now. Unless you want me to ask for a manager, I suggest you act professional." Toya was stunned, but set two menus down.
"Someone will be by shortly to take your order." Toya said, walking away after.
'Here I thought only Finn could make me fear.' He thought. Syaoran handed a menu to Sakura, who started to look through it.
"Feel free to order what you want. As I said," Syaoran spoke, looking through the menu, "I'm buying. Don't worry about the price." This made Sakura worry more.
"Li," Sakura said, "is there a reason why you wanted to meet here?"
"Figured we could both try something new." Syaoran said. Sakura looked through the menu and saw something that interested her, and it was part of a deal. A server then approached and set down two glasses of Cola.
"We didn't order that." Sakura said.
"Came from the table over there." The server said, motioning to a table. Sakura looked to see Chiharu and Naoko, waving. Sakura smiled and waved back. A waitress then walked to them and smiled.
"Are you ready to order?" She asked.
"Ladies first." Syaoran said.
"I'll try the build your own burrito bowl." Sakura said.
"Ooh, good choice! We're doing an opening day special on those. Two for 100 Yen." The waitress said.
"I'll get steak as the meat," Sakura said, "with grilled corn, green bell peppers, mushrooms, and shallots. A mixture of southwestern rice and cilantro lime rice as the base. With shredded cheese, iceberg and romaine lettuces, spinach, and cilantro."
"Did you want your grilled items in a bourbon reduction glaze?" The waitress asked.
"Ooh, that sounds good. Let's do that!" Sakura said.
"Excellent. For you, sir?" The waitress asked. Syaoran put his menu down, looking at the waitress.
"This may sound cliché," he said, "but…. I'll have what she's having." The waitress nodded.
"Very well. Any dessert?" She asked.
"Do you have any pudding?" Sakura asked.
"Unfortunately, no. Would you like to try some Crème Brule? It's a popular dessert." The waitress said.
"Two of those." Syaoran said. The waitress nodded and took the menus before leaving. Sakura then looked at Syaoran.
"What did you want to talk about?" She asked. Syaoran then blushed lightly.
"Have you… ever had a crush on someone?" He asked. Sakura was stunned but nodded.
"I did," Sakura said, "but it was for the wrong reasons. The feelings I had weren't romantic. Why do you ask?"
"Well," Syaoran said, "I had what seemed like a crush towards someone you might know. I think their name was Yuki, or something. Anyways, I learned that the reason why is because of his close connection to the moon. It was simply a magical attraction."
"Wait," Sakura said, "are you talking about Yukito? He has magic?!"
"Possibly," Syaoran said, "but I don't know for sure. What I do know is that I overcame it quickly. I wanted to know because, well…. I… might be developing feelings for a girl. I can't tell Meiling about this, because of her deluded mind."
"So you thought of me." Sakura said.
"Yeah. I figured you would be the best one to ask about this." Syaoran said. Sakura then went into thought, but pieced it together.
"I'm the girl, aren't I?" She asked. Syaoran was stunned, but blushed and nodded. Sakura blushed soon after and looked away.
"W-would this qualify as our first date then?" Syaoran asked.
"No, not this time." Sakura said.
"Then… would you like to go to the aquarium tomorrow? J-just us two?" Syaoran asked. Sakura gave a smile before nodding.
"S-sure. Pick me up around 10 tomorrow morning?" Sakura asked. Syaoran nodded.
"It's a date." He said.
[Moments later….]
Sakura and Syaoran were walking back to Sakura's house, but stopped as they sensed something.
"I sense a Clow Card!" They said, simultaneously. They looked at each other before giggling slightly. They then went and checked it out, seeing it came from the clock tower. Sakura looked and gasped silently as she found the Time Card.
"The Time Card!" She said.
"It hasn't activated yet." Syaoran said. Sakura picked it up, wrote her name on it, and put it with the others. However, she stopped as she saw Syaoran look dejected. She looked at the card and gave a small smile before holding it out to him, causing him to look shocked.
"I wrote my name on it," she said, "so I'm still the one who can use it. However, I can't hold ALL of them. I need a few tricks up my sleeve. Finn had taught me that." Syaoran was stunned, but smiled and took it.
"I'll be sure to protect it." He said.
"So," Sakura said, "I'll see you tomorrow?"
"See you then." Syaoran said. Sakura gave a smile before walking off, kissing him on the cheek. He blushed and held a hand to the cheek she kissed.
'I think I might be in love with her.' Syaoran thought.
[Moments later….]
Sakura walked into the door before going to her room, seeing Finn and Kero.
"Hey, Sakura! How'd the talk with Li go?" Finn asked.
"I'm freaking out! He asked me on a date," Sakura said, "I agreed to it, and now we have a date at the aquarium tomorrow! He's picking me up at 10 in the morning!"

Finn sighed as he put his uniform on before heading downstairs. He soon walked into the kitchen and saw Fujikata cooking breakfast. Toya and Sakura then walked down, shocked seeing Finn in his uniform.

"Press conference." Finn said.
"Press conference?" Fujikata asked.
"They're announcing a new Junior Officer rank. I was asked to be there since I'm a Captain." Finn said. He then got breakfast, ate it fast, and put the plate in the sink. He then left and saw Tomoyo.

"Yeah. I'll call you after." Finn said. He kissed her cheek and got in his car, turning it on and driving away. Tomoyo then walked inside as Sakura was about to leave.

"That's probably him." Sakura said. Tomoyo smiled and held out a matching purse that had Sakura's phone and a small, pocket-sized Taser. Sakura then went to the door and opened it, seeing Syaoran and blushing. Syaoran's eyes went wide and his jaw dropped.

"T-thanks, Li. Y-you look great, too." Sakura said. Syaoran smiled and held his arm out.
"Shall we go?" He asked. Sakura took his arm and nodded. Tomoyo smiled as she watched the two leave.

Sakura and Syaoran were going to all the attractions in the aquarium, including the penguins. The two smiled the entire time, Sakura's arm wrapped around Syaoran's. Syaoran then lowered his arm, as did Sakura with hers, and the two held hands with their fingers interlaced. They soon got hungry and decided to eat at the café in the aquarium. As they ate, the two were laughing about something.
"She actually did that?!" Sakura asked, catching her breath.

"That's not normal." Syaoran said.
"It has to be the Water Card." Sakura said.
"How will you seal it?" Syaoran asked. Sakura then got an idea and smiled.
"I have an idea." She said. She pulled out her phone, pressed '2,' and dialed Finn.
[An hour later….]
Finn stood next to Captain Nakamura as they approached Sakura and Syaoran, the rest of the aquarium having been evacuated.
"Just a heads up," Finn said, "I had to read him in."
"I won't say a word about the Clow Cards." Captain Nakamura said.
"Appreciated." Syaoran said.
"What's your plan?" Finn asked.
"Tomoyo gave me a pocket Taser in my purse. I'm going to use it on the water to draw the card's true form out. That's when I'll seal it." Sakura said.
"Clever girl." Captain Nakamura said.
"Jurassic Park much?" Finn asked. Captain Nakamura tensed up and Sakura giggled.
"Anyways," Syaoran said, "I take it that's why you had asked for the penguins and other aquatics in that tank to be taken back to their proper areas in the aquarium. You didn't want them getting hurt when you used the Taser."
"Because water conducts electricity." Finn said.

"We'll keep everyone out, Sakura." Captain Nakamura said.
"Alright." Sakura said. Finn and Captain Nakamura then left as Sakura and Syaoran headed to where the Water Card was. Sakura then closed her eyes and held her key out into her palm.
"Wait!" Syaoran said.
"Huh?" Sakura asked, looking at him.
"There's something I need to do first, Sakura." Syaoran said.
'There is?' Sakura thought. Syaoran then went to Sakura and held out a ring in a box, causing her to gasp.
"S-Syaoran?!" She asked, shocked beyond belief.
"This isn't an engagement ring, Sakura. This is a promise ring." Syaoran said.
'Promise ring?' Sakura thought.
"It's something I learned as I was in the United States with my mom. With this," Syaoran said, "I promise to always be faithful to you. I will never intentionally harm you, or break your trust. Let this ring serve as a reminder of that." Sakura teared up, but smiled. Syaoran then took the ring out of the box and put it on her right ring finger. He then nodded and Sakura got focused again, closing her eyes.
"O key that conceals the powers of darkness," Sakura said, "reveal your true nature to me! By my power, I command you so I may honor our contract! RELEASE!" Clow Reed's magic seal then appeared under her and her key turned into a staff. She then grabbed the staff and spun it around like a baton before holding it in front of her. She then ran to the opening, Syaoran following her, and gave a glare.
"Be ready to act with it." Syaoran said. The Water Card then appeared and Sakura glared more.
"I don't want to hurt you. Make this easy on yourself. Show your true form." Sakura said. Syaoran looked at Sakura and got chills.
'She sounded just like McGarrett.' He thought. The Water Card seemed to get angrier and charged at Sakura. Sakura then tossed her staff in the air, pulled out the Taser from her purse, and used the Taser on the torrent of water headed towards her. The water had stopped, shaking a bit, and dropped to the ground. The Water Card then revealed their true form and Sakura put the Taser back in her purse before catching the staff.
"Return to the guise you were meant to inhabit! Clow Card!" Sakura said. She then swung the staff down and the Water Card turned back into a Clow Card. Sakura grabbed it, wrote her name on the bottom, and put it with the others. She then turned to Syaoran, walked to him, and leaned into his ear.
"Expect a picture tonight on your phone. Show no one. Not even Meiling." She whispered. Syaoran then nodded and Sakura smiled before taking his hand in hers.
[Later….]
Syaoran was walking Sakura to her front door.
"I had a great time tonight, Syaoran." Sakura said
"I did, too, Sakura." Syaoran said. The two then stopped when they reached Sakura's door, they looked at each other.
"I hope we can do this again." Sakura said.
"I'm sure we will." Syaoran said. Sakura then let him go and went to the front door.
