Chapter 2
Giyu was nervous. He didn't particularly like infiltration missions, and he felt awkward walking through the large city with Shinobu so close to his side. She looked so pretty and Giyu thought she'd probably catch someone's eye.
"Are you alright, Tomioka?" she whispered. "You seem awfully tense."
"I'm fine, Kocho." He whispered, shifting his hold on the box. "Stay on the lookout." She nodded. They walked carefully, keeping cover under Shinobu's parasol. They reached a small restaurant and ate. Giyu had a plate of simmered salmon and radishes, while Shinobu ate ginger tsukudani. After eating, they continued on to the next wisteria house. Inside, Giyu set down the box and unpacked it, setting Shinobu's uniform, haori, hair clip and sword in one corner of the room, while placing his own things in the opposite corner. They waited until night, changed into their uniforms and slipped out into the streets.
