Chapter 4
What? Giyu thought. My dead calm should have protected her, she's standing right next to me.
"Blood Demon Art: Rapid Speed!" Suddenly, the demon wearing the yellow kimono was behind them.
"Water Breathing, Third Form: Flowing Dance!" Giyu yelled right as Shinobu used another technique.
"Insect Breathing, Dance Of The Bee Sting: True Flutter!" The demon was able to avoid Shinobu, and Giyu missed his vital spot, cutting off his legs instead.
I think I'm starting to understand. He thought. The demon wearing the yellow kimono has super speed, the one in the green kimono controls the vines, so the one in the blue kimono is the one that made everything dark.
Abruptly, a vine was wrapped around Shinobu's leg, pulling her backwards. She was pulled off the roof, down to the street, where the other demons were waiting.
"Blood Demon Art: Vine Cage!"
Vines sprung up all around Giyu, blocking him from getting to Shinobu. He took a deep breath.
"Water Breathing, Tenth Form: Constant Flux." He spun rapidly, cutting up the vines blocking his path. But then he realized that he was too late. Shinobu was about to hit the ground. He jumped down from the roof, targeting the vine demon. "Water Breathing, Eighth form: Waterfall Basin." She used her vines to shield herself from his attack. He felt cuts on his legs, and one on his cheek, but he sliced right through the rest of the vines. Suddenly there was a sickening crack! Giyu looked over to see Shinobu lying on the concrete, blood tricking out of her mouth.
