Thank you guys for your sweet responses 3. I feel so motivated to continue!! Please let me know if there's anything you feel is off. I LOVE constructive criticism. :D

It's been a week since I'd met the Cullens. Edward still got occasionally frustrated with me. When we were playing chess-trying to bond over something, he gave up because he couldn't read my mind. Alice and Jasper were near, watching what seemed to be an intense match. According to her he was going to win anyway. I hated chess so winning was the last thing I cared about.

Rosalie still absolutely hated me. She never let herself be alone with me-not that I was begging for her company. She always rolled her eyes and anything I said. It bothered me that she cared so much about my being around but I've done nothing but stay out of her way.

Emmett loved finding ways to make me laugh. There were time where I'd just see him smiling at me from the corner of my eye. His smile would be small and just as adoring as his eyes would be. I actually found him pretty cute yet still intimidating. We had spent the most time together playing video games. I was also not so good at that but I made an effort so he had more joy in his wins.

"Let's go, Bella!" Alice sang from the top of the basement stairs. I was laying on my abnormally large bed. My legs sat upward on my head board as I was on my back. Today is the day we go shopping. The weather was warm and the sun was out the last few days so we couldn't go. Alice pouted about it for hours and when being asked why she didn't go right after sun set, she would say all her favorite stores were closed.

"Coming." I sigh. I stand. I did kind of dread the idea of looking at so many people. Or people watching me. So far I had mostly been wearing Emmett t t's hoodies and Alice's leggings. She was able to find a pair of ballet flats for me to wear which fit surprisingly well.

"It'll just be you and me. No guys." Alice smiles. She also has soft dimples on her cheeks;making it more believable that she and Emmett t t were siblings even if they really weren't.

"That's fine. Where are we going?" I asked. Unaware of how aggressive she can be when it comes to buying clothes.

"There's a nice set of stores we can go to in town. It's not sunny out so I'll be fine to be with you." She says in her tinkling voice. We enter the living room. Carlisle and Esme are sitting in the sofa watching Emmett t t and Jasper argue over who won what in a shooting game. Rosalie and Edward were out "hunting". Emmett t t says they usually claim they're hunting but teally they're getting alone time to do other things.

"We will be back everyone. Bella's going to fill her wardrobe." Alice says excitedly. A glint appeared in her eyes. Jasper gave Emmett t a knowing look and Carlisle and esme both looked at me with pity. What's going on?

"Good luck Bella." Emmett ut t calls to me with a wide smile. I can't help but to smile back. My smile falters at his words that are now echoing in my head.

"Good luck with what?" I ask but Alice is already dragging me out of the large house.

3 hours later.

Today is the day I've learned vampires can develop shopping fatigue. Alice dragged me through almost every store in town and we spent about thirty minuets in each. That doesn't seem like a long time for an avid shopper but for someone who generally hated being out and looking at too many options, it was tiring.

I was able to get the things that I wanted-jeans tank tops and shirts, plain long sleeves and sneakers but she had other things in mind throwing lingerie, bathing suits, dresses and a pair of basic, open toed heels that we settled on after I pushed back on them. I didn't anticipate needing them. I hardly wanted to mountain of clothes she piled into my cart. I hadn't really made a concrete decision on staying. I don't think they would appreciate the company I intentionally keep. Until then I have to stay out until I decide on a plan.

"Bella, I can see the future." Alice said in what sounded like a warning tone. We enter her shiny Porsche-the one car that stood out compared to so many. People starred, particularly at her, as well got in.

"I'm aware…" I say. Confused as to why she would state the obvious.

"I can't see yours now. I wanted to see if you would stay with the family, still. I saw it before." She says.

"Well, I will. For the time being. I appreciate the things you e gotten for me. But they won't make me stay. It's not fair for me to take so much from you all and end up putting your lives in danger. That's why I didn't want too much." I say. I began to feel bad for how much money she spent on me. Something I could never repay her. They had given me a red room to sleep in. A place to live. I hate that I entertained it. It felt good to feel like I belong.

"You will stay, Bella. If there's any protection you need, you will get it from us. You're basically family and we will fight for you." Alice looked over at me as we drove back to the mansion in the woods. Her eyes had nothing but sinserity in them.

"It's not fair to put your family in danger, Alice. I appreciate very thing. I do. We can't ignore the fact that there are others after me and once they find out where I am, I have to leave." I argue. I don't want to leave but I will if I'm forced to.

"We can protect you Bella. You're our family now. Even though we just met-you have a future with us. With-" she stops herself and starts again. "The pieces will fall into place. You will be happy. You'll have love. A family." Her words cause a lump to form in my throat. As a hybrid, I'm still able to cry real tears.

"Alice," I say after swallowing said lump. She gives me a stern look but the sincerity is still there. "Okay, Alice. I'll trust what you say but if it comes down to it and it's your lives over mine, I'm leaving." I say firmly looking away. I knew that frustrated her but there had to be understanding there somewhere. Just as she is ready to lay her life on the line for someone she doesn't know, I would run to save theirs just as quickly.

Once we made it back, Alice helped me out the hundreds of outfits away. The awkwardly sweet moment between us ended once we arrived and she was back to her sunny self. She greeted Jasper with a kiss on the cheek. Emmett had gone to hunt more as he got bored. Esme jokingly said he left because I wasn't around. As much as I'd love to believe that-I felt like I was less his type. I was also too afraid to act on how I felt deep down.

I made my way to my room and showered in the attached bathroom. I loved hot water-cold never really bothered me considering my body temperature is higher than a humans. It felt warm. But hot felt a lot better. I didn't sweat, there fire my body developed no foul body odors. Though I don't get hungry, I do digest human foods and liquids so I shower whoever I eat and drink. After my shower I dressed in the simplest under garments Alice allowed me to pick out and dressed in a all black long sleeve shirt that hugged me and a pair of dark blue jeans with fading on the thighs.

Looking at myself in the mirror, I sigh. My skin sat perfectly pale. A blush ran across my nose along with freckles dancing along the bridge. My eyes had begun to change in color- looking more like a acongac. I appreciated how normal it looked. I fixed my hair to a finger combed style to the back, my thick waves brushing my hips. I'd never cut my hair in my life. Since my hair won't grow as my body will soon stop changing, I didn't want to.

I left my room grabbing Emmett's hoodie from my bed planning to return it to him. A and entered the living room. Rosalie sat in the kitchen. It sounds like she's reading some magazine. Edward played his piano, sending a quick nod and tight smile my way. I smiled back. Alice and Jasper were in their room.

I heard movement behind me. Somehow I knew what is was from the way my spine tingled. I didn't put up my defenses and let two lsfge arms wrap around me and soun me around.

"Put me down, Emmett!" I giggle. He was so gentle for a big guy.

"I don't know, if I let you go, Alice will steal you away again." He says gruffly and I'm still in his arms. He kindly repositioned me into the bridal position. Something that was a bit too intimate compared to what I've been deprived of on Maria's camp.

"Well since we're done with shopping, I'm free. So you don't have to worry." I say. I'm still holding his sweater. More like gripping it at this point.

"Good, let's watch a movie." He says excitedly. He doesn't out me down, but walks towards the large, fluffy sofa. There he slowly sets me down. Our faces are inches away as he pulls back and I could swear he sniffed me. I tried to ignore it to avoid making things uncomfortable.

"What are we going to watch?" I ask. His hoodie sits in my lap.

"I was thinking '007'. Guys a bad ass." He chuckles and started the movie on the large flat screen television. He then makes his way to me and places his arm on the back of the sofa right behind me. The position is intimate and scares me but I know deep down he wouldn't hurt me.

I situate myself and sit comfortably at his side.

This is a filler chapter. The next one is coming super soon!! I appreciate all the favorites and follows. I promise I'm not giving up on my Bellmett stories 3
