This is a follow up to SHSL Stubborn and takes place during SHSL Eloping, those are needed to understand this one.

"Come on Junko, need I remind you this was your idea?" Makoto looked at her with crossed arms.

"Yeah yeah, I know," Junko groaned.

Her plan to elope with Makoto was turning a bit harder than it seemed, setting the preparations up without being seen was not exactly easy, especially cause they had to make a trip to Towa City themselves without being seen cause nobody was supposed to know she was out of Hope's Peak and Makoto wasn't dead.

And Izuru, the asshole, was busy with something else.

Honestly, it kinda put her on edge that he seemed more rebellious and pissed off lately, he hadn't exactly reacted positively at their plan that they should disappear and let the world decide for itself if Hope or Despair was the way to go.

He did like the idea, but the fact she thought of it after leaving the world like this, with things heavily skewed in favor of Despair, therefore not being truly fair…yeah, he didn't react well at all, mostly because he realized Chiaki's death was for nothing and that he just got used.

So yeah, Junko wasn't exactly comfortable with Izuru right now, if the fucker choose to inflict payback onto her by ripping her happy ending apart then there's not much she could do about it, Izuru when motivated was pretty much unstoppable.

She already had a few dreams/nightmares of him caving her head and brains with his fists out of anger.

But leaving the potential danger aside, Makoto and Junko were on a stealth mission through Towa City, She had gotten herself a disguise involving wigs, sunglasses and a change of clothes while Makoto just wore his hood up and a cloak on top of it.

In a way it was exciting, a couple in an infiltration mission, like a thief couple, or spy or whatever, certainly beats being holed in Hope's Peak, the lockdown was getting to her…so was watching her sister and friends die, while she wanted to show her love through despair, their deaths hurt like hell.

Makoto was happy to get out at last though, even if it was with her.

"So can you tell me what's special about this place?"

"Towa City is home of the Towa Family, they're a technology enterprise that build up this entire city and highly advanced technology to aid the world, i'm in league with the youngest daughter of head of the Towa Conglomerate:Tokuichi Towa…who I also strong armed and blackmailed so he would help me too, they're in charge of mass producing Monokuma and give all the technology I needed, like the air purifier in Hope's Peak. They support and profiteer from the state of the world is in"

"And why are we here?"

"They got the technology to help us run away and hide, like rockets to space…or dimensional travel…"

"...I would say that is a little silly, but after everything I've been through, I'll believe it…Though isn't it a little excessive?"

"Look, I'm really well knows in the entire world, either they worship me or they hate me, I really don't want us to be found, even if it takes going to space or another fucking dimension for it"

"Honestly, I want to leave everything behind too, so I don't mind…but there's something else you aren't telling me about this city"

"What gives you that idea?"

"I think I know you enough to tell when you're lying to me"

"I'm not lying"

"Yeah, I know, you're just lying by omission, that's still a lie Junko, I know your tricks by now"

Junko glared at him, ok fine, she lied back then in the killing school life and just used every variation to pass it off as non lies, she could admit by now that she did.

"I'll probably find out soon enough, tell me where we need to go"

"We need to go to the labs in their headquarters…besides I need to reprogram the Monokuma's so they protect those who you asked me to"

"And that they do it non-lethally"

"Ok you're asking too much at this point"

"Need I remind you that you need to listen to my conditions for me to leave with you? I might be tired of everything but I'm still not comfortable leaving this world behind without making sure I do the best I can to help"

Junko was annoyed but it was the truth, it was Makoto's choice to come here, after she failed to give him a convincing reason to elope with her.

That was just how it goes with him, he rejected any of the choices she gave him because he thought they sucked and made his own, and when he goes with what she wants it's always on his terms, always defiant of her, even when she strapped him to a table to use him as her sex toy he never broke, never quiver and fought back even if he had to headbutt or bite to do so.

That…was one of the many reasons she was attracted to him.

"Fine, I will, though they have to resort to lethal violence at least as a last resort"

"Fine, but make sure that it's actually last resort and not some clever wordplay or exact words or anything that makes them rely on lethal violence as soon as they can"

"...You really see to all my tricks, don't you?"

"Chalk it up to experience…and you're giving me my memories back?"

"Yes I will give them back"

"Good"

The two continued their paths to headquarters, Junko could see that Makoto was discreetly trying to bask in the surroundings and enjoy the fresh air from Towa City and not be stuck in Hope's Peak, also to see how much the world had changed since then.

"Why is the Sky Red? Did you do that?"

"Not sure, I mean it happened as the world turned to Despair, I guess it's because the fires…or the planet changed to reflect the mood"

"Hn"

They both kept walking while keeping a low profile across the city until they came across a machine that looked like it was scanning things, Junko immediately grabbed Makoto's hand and hid themselves in a building.

"Why did you do that?" Makoto asked her.

Junko looked to make sure nobody important was listening and spoke "Cause that scanning machine would have recognized me if it scanned me and I don't wanna pull out our hacking guns in public"

"Well, that makes sense, so you wanna check if that thing is still out there?"

Junko looked around the place, recognizing it instantly.

"Not yet, we have business to do in this building"

"What is it?" Makoto asked her.

"...Remember the first motive?"

"Wait, so all our classmate's friends and family are here!?"

"Keep it down, or do you wanna be found out?" She muttered angrily.

"I knew, I freaking knew there was something fishy about this place",

"Look, you promised you go elope with me, you can't back down now, we need to reprogram the Monokuma's so they protect them like you wanted"

"...Fine, what do I need to do?"

"We have to scan the people here so the Monokuma's coding register them as people they have to protect, you have this, you can scan them without even opening the doors" She handed him a device that looked somewhat like a gun.

"So you want me to go from door to door scanning them all? But what about the security cameras? Wouldn't you have to take care of it as well?"

"Don't worry, I got that covered" She took out a weird pink device that looked like a bug.

"This is an Electro Bug, this will shut down the security cameras, I'll take care off it, so you go do what I said"

Without hesitating much, Makoto went to do that.

The process was surprisingly simple, the weird device stuck to the doors, then the device showed a screen with the scanned subject marked as ally for the Monokuma's, then it got unstuck and the process began anew, the fact there weren't any guards for now made it even better.

That Makoto was wondering if he was doing the right thing was the only but crucial roadblock.

All these people had pretty much lost the people they cared for a lot, either they were dead or the ones that are alive are just broken despaired shells back at Hope's Peak, they were stuck here with no idea about the tragedies on their family or circle of friends.

And Makoto was planning to run away with the one responsible for all this. Part of him was disgusted with himself, for accepting in the first place.

He told himself that he couldn't be blamed for feeling this way, Makoto didn't kill or hurt anyone, instead everyone else tried to kill someone to get away from there which would get everyone else killed, Makoto couldn't be blamed for wanting for everyone else and himself to not die…and even at the final stretch despite doing his damndest to convince them, it was all for nothing, he suffer such an horrible punishment that he was surprised he wasn't dead yet, he was more resilient than he thought.

But after failing like that…he just didn't feel motivated to go on here, he wasn't gonna despair and was never gonna give Junko the satisfaction…but her plan was like the one victory he could achieve here that would get rid of her and give the world a chance to heal.

That maybe he wanted to have a life alongside Junko might be a nice bonus.

But that didn't mean it still wasn't fucked up what he was doing, the only solace that he was making sure they were safe and sound…as much as they could in this world.

Then again, maybe Junko was tricking him and instead were making the Monokuma's try to kill them with ferocity, he wouldn't put it past her…

But oddly and stupidly, he chose to believe her this time, that she was honest and gonna follow up on her word…

Yeah, love made you do stupid things, though this is her last chance, if she betrayed his trust once more then screw her (and not in the way she would like) and her plan.

Makoto just had one person left to scan, he found it weird that the most important person to Celeste and Toko was her cat and her pet ladybug, but then again they're always weird, and pets could be the most important people to someone and that's valid-

"Get me out of here!"

Makoto froze in his tracks upon hearing that voice, a voice he hasn't heard in so long.

"Please just get me out of here!"

He knew she was the last one, but it didn't hit him until he heard her voice, he thought he could just-

"Please, I just want out!"

This was Komaru, his sister! Were their parents there? He didn't know, but that doesn't change the fact she was there.

"Come on! I'm tired of being trapped here!" She kept kicking the door in an effort to get out.

Makoto could maybe think of a plan to free her, he could try his luck tricking Junko, not like she could kill him because she already tried many times, granted Komaru was another story…but he could try, he could give it a shot!...at the cost of everything he and Junko worked for.

Oh this was so stupid! Was he really going to leave Komaru like this!? Just because of that madwoman who destroyed the world and put him in this mess!? Was he really this messed up in the head!?

He thought of all the things she did to him, she forced them into a killing game, gave her friends motives to kill each other until less than a half of the class was left, she nearly killed him and raped him after that!...

But then his mind drifted to the times she seemed happy, to when she talked or argued with him and there was a shine in her eyes rather than the emptiness he saw before, her annoyingly infuriating personality that pissed him off but also charmed him, how sad and depressed she seemed upon the death of her classmates and sister even when she was getting off from it because Despair, cause she was damaged inside and apparently nobody tried to help her or didn't see it until it was too late, or when they were in bed after she freed him from his restraints and he finally took control and made her subm-ok this was not the appropriate time to recall that.

But there was more, despite all the wrong she did to him and he wasn't sure he could ever forgive, it was undeniable he fell in love with her, that she was serious about this and that he wanted to be with her while letting this world decide for itself what it wanted to be.

Makoto sighed, he knew Komaru would be protected, but just in case he would ask Izuru to protect her extra hard, Izuru was a reliable person when he put his mind to it, what's the worst it could happen?

Makoto would regret it later, albeit not for the reasons one might think.

Makoto gave one last look at the door…before sighing and using the device once more.

It vaguely hit him that he was being like Mukuro who Junko complained so much about, leaving his younger sister behind, safe, but still leaving her behind.

Makoto just accepted that he was a shitty brother, took the device once it finished and left his sister for the last time…

Junko was nervous, she knew that the building wasn't exactly small so it might take Makoto a while…but she knew Makoto might change his mind and try to run away…fuck, he might have just planned it from the beginning, it would make sense, why the fuck would be agree to any of this, no sane person would-

"I finished, let's go"

Junko was surprised when Makoto came back, tapping his foot as if to urge her to get moving.

"You're back?"

"Yes, I'm back, now can we keep moving?"

"But why did you?-"

"Do you want this plan of yours to succeed or not? Come on, finish whatever it is you have to do here and let's get moving"

Junko's face was flushed, she did some finishing touches to make their presence completely gone.

"We're done here"

"Good" He grabbed her hand. "We're getting out of here" and started dragging her away.

"Jeez, are you in such a hurry? I thought you might want to see your sister some more before you leave"

"Don't talk about this subject ever again, got it?" He said with seriousness and a little bit of anger in his face which immediately shut Junko up and she only absently nodded.

Makoto checked outside for more scanning machines, once he saw the coast was clear he urged her to get out.

"Now do we go to the Headquarters?" He asked her.

"Yes, come on let's go" She said, taking the lead once again.

Makoto seemed to be ok with it for now so he accepted, walked right next to her…and held her hand.

"Huh?, what are you?"

"Where walking together not trying to be seen, I don't think it matters if we hold hands or not"

"Huh, sure, I really really don't mind" Junko said flustered, was Makoto getting bolder? He didn't seem that apprehensive to show her affection…though she could notice that he was also sad now.

"Did something happen back there?" She asked him.

"Didn't I tell you to drop it?"

"Look, despite wanting to see you despair, I also don't like it when you feel sad and shit…besides, were a couple now, so we need to talk about things"

"This is not the appropriate time for it"

"Can you spit it out already?"

"...Do you think I'm a terrible brother?"

"I mean, you strong armed me into making sure your sister was protected, and I remember when you talked about your sister or when she came to visit…so no, not really"

"But I'm leaving her behind trapped there, I'm abandoning her without ever saying why"

"At least you're trying to make sure she's safe, not like some other people"

"I'm not doing the same thing as the sister you hate so much? Why are you ok with this?"

"One:Because it's not me who's suffering through it, two:Cause you're not running off leaving a little girl in some shitty family, you're making sure a grown woman is being protected alongside other people while you leave with the love of your life, three:you're the love of my life, I can excuse it if it's you"

"I feel it still doesn't make it ok"

Junko was surprised he didn't rebbutt calling herself "the love of his life", was he really being less stingy about being into her? What happened back there?

"How long til we reach the place?" He asked her.

"We have to take a train there"

Makoto didn't say anything, just followed her to the train station.

Once there, both hopped on a train and found a place to sit, Junko was surprised when Makoto put an arm around her shoulders.

Makoto looked at her looking at her weird and asked "What?"

Junko decided to not question him about his sudden willingness to touch her, especially because they were surrounded by people and while they had disguises and voice modifying machines to make sure they didn't recognize them, they might draw suspicion from what they're talking about…plus if someone wanted to undo their disguises they could be in trouble.

Though she noticed that when some guys and girls were giving her the looks, Makoto squeezed her against him a little, was that jealousy? He really didn't have anything to fear, she couldn't be less interested in those people if she tried.

But thankfully, they arrived at their destination, they both quickly exited the train and went to the headquarters while trying to not draw too much suspicion.

"So how do we enter there?" Makoto asked her.

"We find some employee, hopefully an high ranking one, we take his key card which should give us access to most of the place, including the labs"

"Can't we just take any and then once we're there take some high ranking one key card we find?"

"That too, but it be easier to take it from outside"

"Fine, though what happens if we get found out?"

"Well good thing I came prepared" She took out two weird devices that looked like super advanced dart guns.

"What's that?"

"You can call it the amnesia gun, one shot out of this bad boy and whoever gets hit by it will be knocked out and forget this entire day"

"...So just like what you did to us?"

"Look, if we avoid getting caught, you wouldn't have to use it"

"I guess" Makoto said a little unsure, sure it was just one day but he didn't want to do to others what it had been done to himself and his classmates.

"Look, let's grab something to eat while we wait, ok?"

"I'll stay to vigilate, you go grab something"

"Suit yourself, just be careful"

"You too"

"Who do you think I am?"

"Dunno, you might screw everything up in purpose for Despair"

"It's just if I fail, I don't screw myself on purpose, that's what you're for"

She couldn't see him well because of the cloak, but she could tell he was blushing now.

"Still, be careful"

"I will I will, jeez"

Just who does he think she is? She didn't put this much effort into something just to fail, sure the despair would be nice but that's if she fails despite trying, it's like he doesn't even know her sometimes…which To be fair, she doesn't make it easy.

Though she wondered how it would be if she failed, making all that time of preparation go to waste, she would have a lot to answer for, from both sides of the conflict and she couldn't go with Makoto for sure…he'll probably survive, she wouldn't know what would happen to him, but he'll definitely live.

Though, oddly enough the idea of failing didn't appeal to her, not even in Despairful way, that was weird-

"Monaca would like an ice cream"

Junko froze in her place as she heard that voice, it wasn't speaking to her, but she knew that person…she knew those people that surrounded her.

Monaca, Nagisa, Kotoko, Masaru and Jataro.

Junko wasn't scared that they would recognize her, she could lose them if she wanted to without them ever seeing her…Just like how they're not gonna see her ever again without knowing why.

Not that she cared mind you, if anything this was a great opportunity to cause them despair, yeah…

She didn't give a rat ass about her servants, she sure as hell did not care about class 77, she sure as hell doesn't care about…them.

I mean, maybe it would be despairful if they saw her one last time only to break the news that she didn't care about them, what a despairful way to go-

"What are you doing?"

Junko was snapped out of her trance by Makoto, who was looking at her with confusion.

"Huh…nothing, forget about it"

"Who are those kids and why did you try to get close to them?"

Shit, she did.

"Look, can we talk about this outside?"

"Did you buy something?"

"...No, I don't want to anymore, deal with it"

Makoto rolled his eyes and took her hand as they left the store.

"Now are you going to tell me?"

"They're the warriors of hope, just a bunch of kids I took in because I felt like it, Monaca the "paraplegic" girl is the daughter of Toukichi Towa"

"The girl who you're in cahoots with?"

"Yup"

"You sure looked really attached to those kids, are you sure you actually used them?"

"Piss off, what's it to you?"

"You told me you didn't have anyone else other than me, that's why you're ok with leaving"

"Maybe I want to cause them despair, from leaving, or have you forgotten what I'm all about?"

"Honestly sometimes I feel you don't know it either, you say you don't care about them but you clearly do, you say you care about us and that's why you did all those things to us, but you clearly feel bad about it…hell this entire plan we're doing is because we love each other and want to be together, I don't see how this is despairful at all"

"..."

Makoto noted that he had a talent to leave her without words.

"Look, I get that you don't want to leave people you care about, hell I don't want it either, so if you want to go for it…"

"What? Are you quitting on me?"

"I briefly considered it when I encountered my sister in that building, but at the end of the day I choose you over her and the others, I'm giving you the choice"

"What are you on about giving me the choice? I'm the one calling the shots here"

"No, we're a team, we're a couple, I'm doing this because I want to, I'm NOT your servant, not before and not ever, you heard me?" He said getting angry at the end, he certainly did not forget what Junko did to him before.

"Fine Fine" She said, getting a bit intimidated by his intense stare.

"Look, do you want to go with me or not? Tell me now"

"...Yes, yes I do…" She said a little unsure.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!" She said with far more conviction.

"Ok then, as long as it's something you want to do, I'll go with it" He said…and took out a key card.

Tokuichi Towa's Key Card.

"How? When?" She asked in shock.

"In the time you were in the store I found him, managed to swipe his card out of him without realizing it and went to pick you up, I guess it makes sense that he would here considering his daughter was near"

"...Can I say that was hot as fuck?"

"Well, with any luck, there's more than where that's come from" He smirked at her.

Knowing him, there's probably more.

The two used the keycard and managed to enter the headquarters and moved while making sure nobody was watching them.

"First we gotta shut down those security cameras," Makoto said to Junko

"Got it" She said and once they reached a control panel, Junko put an Electro Bug there, shutting down the cameras.

"Good, do you know where the labs are?"

"Yes, just follow me" And she beckoned him to follow her.

The two kept sneaking around the headquarters, making sure to dodge any other people in their way.

As they kept moving, Junko remembered how she was working towards the tragedy, similar to this she was sneaking around towards her big plan and getting caught without a contingency meant game over.

Although right now she felt even more vulnerable, it was a drastic change from the Killing School Life in which she felt in total control, with Makoto being the only thorn in her side…and now she was more vulnerable than ever and with Makoto on equal footing.

There was something scary yet thrilling about this, and not just in a "If I fail I can feel Despair" way.

They both finally reached the lab, although both were cautious that there were people there…which they were, lots of them.

"Great, we need a way to get them out of here, any ideas?" Makoto asked.

"Well yeah, but I'm also wondering how were gonna pick up all those devices"

"I just put them in my hoodie"

"Quit joking and get serious"

"I'm serious, I can put a lot of stuff in my hoodie, even an entire rocket…like that one you used to kill the headmaster"

"I was wondering where that thing went…but how did you manage to fit a entire fucking rocket there?"

"I don't know if I'm honest, maybe it's magical or something" He shrugged.

"Well, then there's no problem" She took out what looked to be a smoke bomb.

"Good thing I packed this, it's amnesia gas bomb, they won't remember this entire day when they wake up"

Makoto nodded, he took out gas masks Junko told him to carry with him before the mission, they put them on and Junko threw the Amnesia bomb.

Soon everyone was knocked out, Makoto and Junko picked everything they needed and then some, Makoto could indeed fit an entire rocket under that hoodie, she didn't know what was more impressive:The hoodie for keeping all of it in or Makoto for carrying it like it was nothing.

"So we're done here? All we need to do is escape?" Makoto asked her.

"Yeah, now we just need to escape this place and Towa City, then the hard part of our plan is over"

"Good, now let's-"

Makoto was cut off when a bunch of Monokuma's appeared in the lab with the intention of murder.

"I don't wanna judge, but why are the Monokuma's here and why do they look like they wanna murder us?" Makoto asked her.

"Must be security measures, look I think I can shut them down"

She turned off the voice modificator for a little bit. "Monokuma, shut down"

Yet the Monokuma's didn't seem to stop, they still were marching towards them.

Junko groaned and took out her sunglasses so they could see her face, sure she was without her hair dye and contacts for the disguise so she looked like Ryoko (as much as she hated it) but she did program the Monokuma's to recognize her face without them and instructed Monaca to add it to any of the Monokuma's internal coding she produced here.

Seeing it did not work either, it told her one crucial thing.

"These were made by Tokuichi or his son Haji, so they will try to murder us no matter what"

"Well, guess there's only one thing to do," Makoto said.

Then he took out two hacking guns, tossed one to Junko and both of them started to gun down Monokuma's.

Junko noted that Makoto was surprisingly good at shooting, it reminded her of the class trials where it felt like his arguments he was shooting bullets for every counter and finishing blow he made, and it was as effective as any real bullet.

Truly he was more gun-ho than any other person she's seen.

However as they were gunning down and dodging the ones that tried to attack them, they were slowly being split up until they were running into different directions.

Junko was gunning and running away from the Monokuma's, they were down to a few so she could destroy them and regroup with Makoto…assuming he hadn't run off from her.

Because why wouldn't he? He has most of the gadgets she needed, he had all the things he needed to escape this place and this world and he was lucky and skilled enough to escape without her help.

Maybe this was a lucky break for him, now he could ditch her and maybe she would never find him again-

She was snapped out of her musings by hearing the sounds of machine guns, the same that protected the main entrance in Hope's Peak as well as the bathrooms. A good shot of the hacking guns luckily took care of it…

And also distracted her enough so a Monokuma could pounce and knock her hacking gun away from her.

It pinned her to the wall, luckily she was near her hacking gun that if she stretched she could pick it up and destroy this Monokuma and the few that surrounded her…

But why bother? This was probably a fitting end for her:ditched by the person she made his life a living hell, killed by the same mascot she used to torment so many people, including her friends and the one she used to kill her sister with.

And unlike her friends, nobody would know she died here until they find her corpse later, she was effectively dying a nobody…wasn't that fitting?

Yeah, maybe it was fate that she-

Watched the Monokuma shut down right in front of her.

The other Monokuma's fell down in one fell swoop, she was surprised when she saw Makoto come running here.

"What are you-"

She was once again cut off when Makoto put the hacking gun in her hand before he fucking carried her bridal style and started running away from there.

"The fu-"

"Don't make a sound" He told her while glaring with far more intensity than before, which immediately got her to shut up and stay quiet.

Makoto managed to sneak them away from the Headquarters and from any prying eyes until he managed to sneak them into a building.

He looked confused as to where he got them until they found a receptionist looking at them perplexed.

"Is this some Motel?" He asked the receptionist.

The Receptionist nodded.

"Good, can you get a room for me and my wife? We just want to stay a little and talk, hope it's not an issue"

"Huh, sure, take one of the available rooms if you wish" The receptionist answered.

"Awesome, thank you so much!" He went to grab a key (all without letting go of Junko), looked at the number and carried them to the room.

Once he locked the room, he put Junko on the ground gently.

"What the fu-"

Makoto once again cut her off by pinning her to the wall and giving her one of the most intense glares she had ever seen.

"What the hell was that!?" He asked in anger.

"What was what?"

"You almost got killed there even though you could have defended yourself!"

"Wh…why do you care? And why didn't you take the chance to leave me?"

"Do you want to go through with this plan or not!? Decide!" He roared at her.

"Why did you save me?"

"...I have been seeing my classmates die left and right, I have lost people very important to me, I have been trying to stop them from dying, I'm tired of seeing people die and you ask why I want to save one of my few remaining classmates and the woman In love from dying? Are you sure I'm the idiot here?"

"The woman you love?"

"Oh for the love of-seriously, how much more do I have to do to prove that I love you and want to run away with you" He was getting more annoyed by the second, like he was talking to a brick wall.

But he wasn't mad at her because of the stuff she did to him…he was mad out of worry for her.

"But why?" She didn't know but she had to ask.

"Oh my-Can you stop asking dumb questions? Seriously"

"But why?"

Makoto glared at her in frustration and gave her a rough kiss to shut her up.

"But-" And once again he kissed her, almost leaving her out of breath.

"Bu-" And he did it once again.

"B-" And once again, this time extra long.

When Makoto was finished, Junko was a blushing mess crumpling against the wall if it wasn't for him holding her.

The satisfaction of seeing her like this calmed him down a little, so he brought her up to eye level with him.

"Now listen closely, we're gonna get out of here, you're gonna stay alive and not let yourself get killed, then we're gonna finish what you brought up and let this world decide for itself while we live the rest of our lives together. Are. We. Clear?" He said while looking intensely at her right in the eye.

Junko was pinned down under his gaze, he wasn't telling her like it was a question or order, it was as if he was saying a straight fact without even a hint of doubt in his voice, it was gonna happen, no questions about it.

It was stuff like this why Makoto both scared and amazed her, it was the same feeling when she first meeting, when she saw him again as Ryoko and the same as she saw as Ryoko…he had some sort of power, not talking about his luck but it was his Hope, his determination, that strength of character that came when push came to shove.

You simply did not break or even stop Makoto Naegi, sure he could feel bad or upset over things, but he immediately picked himself up and kept going and going and going until he won.

He was the person she feared the most in the killing game, she didn't care if Kyoko ever found out the truth cause at the end of the day that would only benefit her if they found out the truth of the ruined world they lived in, but Makoto was the one that could convince them to get out and keep going, he was the one that refused any of the options she gave them and if everyone else had been with him, she would have lost right there and then.

That's why when he survived she kept him to herself, not only because he could still screw her over (not in the fun way) but also because she wanted to keep such an interesting person to herself and only her.

And even now, after everything she put him through, he was just as in love with her as she was with him and wanted to be with her, he chose her over everything.

"I love you, I want to be with you and I'm not gonna let you die whether you like it or not, do you understand that?"

"Yes, I do"

"Good" He smiled softly at her, his anger seemed to have calmed down completely for now, then he held her chin and got her close for a kiss to which she reciprocated without hesitation.

"Now we're gonna rest here for a bit, maybe until tomorrow, we're gonna get out of this place and get back at Hope's Peak to keep working on the plan, we need to be careful in case anyone tracked us here though"

"Y-yes, whatever you want, I will follow you" She didn't know Makoto taking charge was gonna be so hot.

"Good, now, try to keep it down a little, ok?"

"Why should I…wait, seriously?"

"Yeah, what's the problem? You always asked for it even when it was troublesome"

"I mean…it's the first time you initiated it…"

"If you don't want to, it's fine"

"No no no! I want to, In really fucking want to right now…it's just…you initiating and taking charge like this…it's so fucking hot"

"But I always take charge after you freed me from the chains"

"Well yeah, but I mean, you're taking charge in the other things as well…" She was fucking blushing mess right now, Makoto made her like this.

"Well, I guess it's because we finally have the same goals, so I don't mind working towards them…"

"I hope that keeps happening"

"Well…if you keep being a good girl, you will"

Junko started laughing a bit, that was so cheesy but made her so happy.

"Well, if I misbehave, you can always punish me~"

"Well, I do have a super special punishment for you"

"Oh really?"

"Well…let's just say it be your turn to be in chains"

"Ohh, I like that~"

"But that's for later, first…"

"Wait, before that…I have to ask…why did you tell the receptionist I was your wife?"

"Cause I just needed to tell him something that quick so we could get a room? Besides, aren't we basically married anyways?"

"We are?"

"We are going to spend the rest of our lives with each other, we're eloping as you say, that's basically marriage, isn't it?"

"...Oh yeah, it is…I kinda forgot with everything that's been happening…" She said honestly and then smiled at him.

"So are you gonna keep your wife waiting or what?"

Makoto smirked at her.

"Nope, not anymore"

And so the embodiment of Hope and Despair spent the night with each other, their Pre-wedding night if you will, sealing that unlikely but precious union forever.

This took me an entire day to write, I practically rushed to get it in time.
