Chapter 13
Pavel was sitting at the table of the dormitory. He put his hands into the lock and was thinking about something.
"Are you ready?" he heard a female voice.
The boy turned his head and saw Maria, who was in her official uniform, while the boy was dressed into his battle uniform.
"Yes." the boy nodded indecisively.
The boy wasn't happy, he was thoughtful and considerate. Maria clapped him by his shoulder, when he came to her. She tried to smile, nevertheless it was strange likewise Maria wasn't from those, who could smile.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine." Maria tried to calm him, "I and Ren will be not far from you and if something goes wrong we will assist."
"I understood." Pavel replied her, however he didn't feel easy.
They left the dormitory, and a cold air blew them on. Pavel flinched, while Maria didn't give a sign she was cold. They were walking in silence. Maria didn't want to disturb Pavel, who tried to overthink the upcoming practice. They came a little early so Maria and Ren could hide. Near the gates of the academy, they saw Ren, who was waiting for them. Ren also was in thoughts about upcoming event.
"Pavel." Maria suddenly said, "Since it's a day off, the practice will be outside. We'll hide there." she pointed at the wall of the academy, "We will watch at you and if the therapy is going bad, we'll interfere." Pavel nodded, "Remember, you must push to what happened to her friends. Try to say that she is weak and pathetic. And she had no other way, but to lose her friends." she was telling that with a casual way, while Pavel trembled.
"Is it really necessary?" Ren asked her instead of the boy.
"It is." she nodded, "She is about to fight her nightmares in the future, so if she is able to overdo with that therapy, she will be able to come to final part."
"Understood." Ren mumbled, and didn't ask Maria anymore.
"I understand it's difficult." Maria put her hand onto the shoulder of her student, "But if not to do that she will stand in front of a pit being unable to over jump it. And it's only you who can help with that."
"I know that." Pavel mumbled, "But I can't understand, why the hell it must be so." he squeezed his fists, "I just can't understand how to do that."
"Sometimes we must be harsh to other people." the teacher answered, "Especially if it's good for them."
"Like Yatsu-sensei." Ren slightly smiled.
Then the women quickly left Pavel in order to change their suits to their battle uniforms. Pavel was standing for some time when he suddenly heard a voice.
"Good morning. I hope you didn't wait long." Pavel looked at the source of the voice, and saw a brown haired girl in in a battle suit.
"No, I have just come." Pavel tried to smile, "Also in a uniform?"
"Just thought not to make you wait for me at this too." Masami answered him, "So? How it will pass today?"
"Well…" Pavel mumbled, "Let's go to the sport ground." he only replied her and slowly wandered to the place where the students were fighting in the open air.
Masami looked at him with wondered eyes, but still followed him. When they were at the middle of the ground Pavel only answered.
"This training will be special." Masami nodded at his words, her eyes were serious, as she felt that Pavel was serious, "And…" he stumbled, "Sorry for what is going to happen…"
"What is going to happen?" Masami only asked him, and then quickly exposed her spear in order to protect herself.
"The fight is real." Pavel answered her seriously, "I'll fight as if I will kill you, do whatever it's needed to defeat me." Pavel pushed her and attacked again.
"Wait!" Masami exclaimed, "I…" she parried the other strike again.
Pavel replied nothing, but was only attacking her again and again. Masami tried to block and dodge his attacks.
'He is fighting seriously.' Masami thought trying to avoid his sword, 'I must be careful. And not be wounded.'
'I must try not to wound her.' Pavel thought, while he was trying to attack her.
The boy tried to make direct strikes, however the girl, was able to avoid them. Masami felt difficulties, but still she could find rhythm and it was better for her to fight.
The fight was lasting for some time and Pavel understood he had to do something.
'Now or never!' he thought in his head, "You know what?" he suddenly asked her with a grin attracting her attention, "I'm no wondered you failed that night."
"What?" Masami's eyes widened suddenly.
"A weakling like would never be able to save friends." he grinned much wider, "I even can't understand how they allowed you to be a leader." he pushed her and did another lunge.
"Pavel?! What… what are saying?!" she exclaimed clashing the hilt of her spear with his sword.
"What? The truth is painful?" he smirked and jumped back and then started to attack her again, "If I would be there, I would never let you be the leader, especially to do as you wish."
"P… Pavel…?" Masami seemed shocked, however she was still fighting him, suddenly she clashed his sword again, "Why are you telling this?!" she exclaimed, "What got into you?"
"Just thinking, should I continue to help such pathetic girl, who shut herself in a shell?" Pavel did several lunges, however Masami dodged them all, "Scared of fighting? How are you going to continue your treatment if what you can do is only escaping? Why not to accept the battle?"
'What the hell is with him?' Masami was shocked seeing such Pavel, who was entirely different person, 'Why is he telling all that?'
"Were you also escaping, while your friends were fighting protecting such weakling?" Pavel grinned like a predator.
"Pavel!" Masami clashed her spear again with his sword, "Why the hell you're saying such things?! What is with you?!"
"I'm fine." Pavel looked straight into her eyes, 'Sorry, Masami…' Pavel said in his head, 'But there's no other way…' then he added, "No, I understood that your friends died just for a stupid girl, who isn't created to be a Taimanin, and must teach little children, how run and jump." the boy answered her.
"Shut up!" Masami yelled and pushed him aside, "Don't tell me it's all was for that! Don't tell me that this nice appearance was a pageant!" Masami was watching at him.
"And if I tell you it's a real me?" Pavel prepared himself for another attack, but still was standing, "What are you going to do?"
"It's not you!" Masami exclaimed, "What happened to you?!"
"The problem is that it's real me." Pavel was watching at her, "And if you want to stop the training, I'm afraid I won't let this happen. Defeat me and it's done." then he rushed to her again, "Only if you are able to do that." he smirked and stroke with his sword her spear.
"Pavel!" Masami exclaimed again, "Why…" she replied nothing, but only blocked his strike, tears started to appear on her eyes.
"I think your friends regret that they sacrificed their lives for a weakling like you." the boy continued to say his poison words, "What is it? Crying already?"
"Shut up!" she shouted and pushed him, "Stop saying that! Or I'll…"
"What?" Pavel looked at her, "Start crying?"
Masami only ran to him and did a strike.
'Now, she is fighting seriously.' Pavel thought avoiding her attack and jumped away in order to prepare for defense.
Ren and Maria were in their battle uniform, Ren had her sword in readiness, and Maria her spear. The tanned student seemed thoughtful, while Maria only watched at the fight. They place where they were had a good observation of the sport ground and was giving an opportunity not to be found.
"Sensei…" Ren looked at Maria, "Maybe there was another way? I understand it's necessary, but still…"
"She must try to overpass through what she had. The past is following her and she must try to give repulse in order to continue her treatment." Maria did a pause, but then added, "If she doesn't do that she will fail fighting her nightmare. She must do that with the one, who built bound with her. I understand what you feel, but for Pavel it's much worse. He never did anything of that, and it's really painfully for him to act so."
"Even for me it would be painfully." Ren understood the teacher, but still didn't like that.
"Oleg, I and other hunters in our country passed through that." Maria continued and stumbled, as if she wanted to say something significant, but wasn't sure to tell that or no, but after a while she continued, "When my brother betrayed us, we passed through it." Ren looked with puzzled expression at her.
"Archon?" Ren only asked her, Maria nodded.
"He was the only relative I had." the woman watched at the fighting students, "He and Oleg were everything for me. When Anatoly did what he did, I thought it was because of me, and I shut myself into a thick shell. I didn't know why I should live any longer. I thought my life is over when he allowed that French scum to do what he wants to me and Oleg." Maria's eyes were full of rage, and the hilt of her spear was squeezed really hard, "But thanks to Oleg, I could find myself again. And I decided to fight and go further for him."
"You shouldn't tell me that." Ren looked at Maria.
"I tell you that because I want you to understand that we all have problems which made our heart broken. But it's all on us to repair it for those, who surround us." Maria replied her fast, "Indeed something won't be able to return, but we must live further in order to help the rest not to repeat our mistake."
"And can I ask you something?" Ren asked the woman with a trembled voice, "Do you have feeling for Oleg?"
"I have." Maria answered fast, "But I rejected them, because I don't want to him to be with the one, whose brother became a traitor."
"It's not your fault." Ren answered Maria, "We can't predict what other people can do, even if it's our relatives. So…" she was unable to continue as Maria interrupted her.
"I know it's not my fault. But I don't want him to be also branded with that label I was." Maria sighed not stopping to watch after the fight, which became intense, "A sister of a traitor." she sighed, but then looked at Ren, "I hope that talk will leave only between us. And no one especially Pavel will know about that."
"Of course, he won't know that." Ren answered to Maria fast, she was still surprised that the woman told her all these things that happened to her, "But I think you did badly towards Oleg-sensei. It's after him to decide about that."
"It's after him, but I don't want him to do that." Maria answered her fairly, "And you also don't do well, not confessing to Pavel."
"What? Ren suddenly asked the woman.
"Don't you want to try to talk to him about your feelings?" Maria looked at Ren this time, "I see how you talk to each other, and I still can't understand why you haven't confessed to him."
"Well…" Ren mumbled, "I don't deny the fact I like Pavel."
"Can I ask you too?" Maria was watching at the girl, "When did you understand that you have feeling for him?" then she watched at the battle.
"I think before the mission of protecting the Ministers." the young Taimanin replied thoughtfully, "Igawa-sensei didn't want to let me go and even lectured me, however Pavel defended me and convinced her to let me join it." she smiled, her smile was warm and Maria cold feel it, "But I think I liked him at the island during our vacation."
"I see." Maria nodded continuing to observe the fight of Pavel and Masami, which started more intense, 'It seems they are about to finish.' the woman with mental ability frowned, 'One mistake and everything is done.' she looked at Ren, who seemed to understand that too.
"Wow, you've became a little serious." Pavel dodged her strike, "But still not impressive." he tried to cut the girl, however she blocked the attack in time, 'She is fighting seriously now…' Pavel pondered, 'I don't think I'll be able to hold myself any longer.' then he jumped aside in order to overthink his state, "Still not impressive, pathetic weakling like will never be able to be treated."
Masami rushed to him again, she started to attack Pavel chaotically, and the boy felt difficulties in parrying. She did a wide swing then and Pavel suddenly became open. She pierced her spear into the ground and then jumped kicking Pavel into his stomach. The boy was unable to withstand and fall onto the ground losing his sword.
"Damn!" Pavel exclaimed, when he hit the ground, 'I must…' then he gasped, as if something landed onto his stomach, Pavel turned and saw how Masami was above him and was ready to pierce him, her hands were trembling.
Pavel closed his eyes, but then suddenly heard a strange sound of clashing metal. He opened his eyes and saw how Masami was disarmed.
"Enough!" Maria said with a strict voice.
"What…?" Masami only whispered not understand what was going on, she looked at the woman, and then at the tanned huntress, who were standing next to her.
"You did well, Andou." Maria said to her, "You're ready for final treatment."
"What the hell does it mean?!" she burst out, "Even you Ren?!" Masami watched at her with misunderstanding, but full of anger eyes, "What all was that for?!"
"It was all for you." Ren interrupted silence, "I didn't want that, but as sensei told there was no other option."
"What?!" the spear fighter looked at the teacher, "What for did you do that?! Can someone explain that properly?!"
"You must defeat your nightmare." Pavel mumbled turning his face away, "As I understand you'll face almost the same when Maria Sergeievna will work with you."
"He is correct." Maria nodded helping Masami to get up, Masami's tears were sliding by her cheeks and were falling onto the ground.
Ren also helped Pavel to get up, but he turned his face away, from Masami's one.
"What you're going to meet, will be much worse." Maria continued, "We had to know will be able to handle with you fears or not, because if you wouldn't we also will be dead." she said with serious and ringing voice.
"What?" Masami didn't understand what the woman was meaning.
"Do you want to see how Pavel dies?" the woman asked the girl straight, even Pavel and Ren were shocked hearing that.
"I… No… Of course not!" Masami looked at the woman and then at the boy.
"That's why he had to test you." the Russian teacher continued to explain, "Because of the bound you two have you had to show that you won't be scared and will do everything to fight." Maria carefully looked over the girl, and the boy, who was in wounds, "At the same time, I still can see that Pavel was holding himself, since you have no scratches."
"Huh?" the brown haired girl looked at her legs and arms.
"Masami." Maria said again, "Pavel was trying his best for you, it can be not seen, but for him it was also painful to act like that, but it inevitable, because all, who is in such state must pass through that." she want to her spear, picked it and handed to the girl, "As I understand you were ready for everything in order to be in action again."
Masami replied nothing, she only got her spear, and looked at Pavel, who was still looking down.
"Masami…" he whispered, "I know I did a despicable thing, but…" he bit his lip, "And I will understand if you stop contacting with me after it, however…" he squeezed his fists, and looked at her as if he took all his will into them, "However, let me help you to deal with your problem, and only then stop that!" he looked at her tearing eyes.
"I…" Masami whispered, "I understand what you did and why." she tried to wipe off her tears, but they appeared again, "And because of that I'm not angry at you." Ren and Maria smiled understanding that she could accept it, "Since it was for not letting you die, I don't angry at you." she tried to smile, "I would also try to do that for you or someone else, if I had to."
Then they didn't say a single word for some time, but then Maria looked at the sky which still was cloudy.
"Now, I can explain you your final therapy." the woman looked at the girl, who stopped to cry, then at Pavel, who got his sword, "It'll be done with the help of my power, I and Pavel will sneak into your head, and the three of us will kill the nightmare that is in your head subconscious."
"I will go with you!" Ren interrupted the woman.
"I'm sorry, but I can take only one person with me." Maria shook with her head.
"And what about Oleg-sensei? he has such power too." Ren still tried to take action in that.
"According to his words, he will lose a lot of power taking one person." Maria answered fast, "So I can't let him and you risk with that. At the same time, Oleg did it only once, while I have already done it several times." she was watching at Ren, who couldn't accept that and was trying to join them, "The problem is that I don't know what will see in your head, but you must be ready to see something like that again." Masami nodded, "The nightmare will try to take your body, during this therapy, but you must resists, and fight with everything you have."
"I will do everything not let this happen!" Pavel exclaimed, "If something is about to happen, I'll protect you."
Masami could do nothing, but only smiled at his kindness.
"That's Pavel I used to know." she wiped off her tears and stopped crying, she threw her spear onto the ground and jumped to him hugging, "Don't change anymore, please." She hugged him tighter.
"I won't." Pavel also hugged this.
'I feel jealous, but…' Ren was watching at them, 'I'm glad everything is fine.' she felt how a hand touched her shoulder.
'Will let another girl to steal him?' Ren heard a voice in her head.
'What?!' Ren exclaimed in her head too, 'Sensei, please don't do such things! And at the same time, this time I don't mind.' Ren looked at them and then said out loud, "How about to celebrate the result of the training? Maybe, to go to Inageya? I think she must be opened now.
"I don't mind." Pavel smiled watching at Ren.
"Me too." Masami also agreed.
"Then I'll leave you." Maria replied, "Have a good…" but she was interrupted.
"Maria Sergeievna." Pavel called her, "You're also invited, rejections are not accepted." he chuckled then.
Maria looked at Masami and Ren, who wanted to say something too, however she did it first.
"Fine, after all it's good to have something sweet from time to time." she replied them and the four slowly went to the place they all agreed to visit.
Etienne was walking by the corridors of his lab thinking about something, some people who saw him greeted him, but the man didn't pay attention to them as if there were no one on his way. He seemed thoughtful as if he was thinking about something really important like an experiment or something else.
'Interesting, will Celine give me more of her blood?' Etienne thought in his head, 'I have some of Walter, and it would be really good if I have an opportunity to experiment with it a little more.' he entered the door, which was on his right and entered his laboratory where was the table with two captivities, who were convulsing.
"It seems the transformation is almost done." Etienne chuckled, he sat at his desk and looked at the laboratory rats on the surgery tables, "I hope Walter will give extra blood." He smirked at started to work on his computer.
Etienne was working for some time when suddenly heard a louder noise. He turned around and saw how his captivities were trying to break free. They almost lost their human appearance and started to look like demons.
"It seems the tranquilizer stopped working." he took two syringes and came to the two, "I think double doze will calm you down."
He quickly injected the liquids, however the victims didn't stop twitching. Etienne didn't like that, and when he was about to use his tentacles that appeared out of the sleeve of his robe the creatures broke free.
"What?!" Etienne was puzzled and shocked.
The victims grabbed their heads and shouted in agony. They're bodies started to transform, one started to become big and his hands started to turn into something what started to remind crab's pincers. The second one was the same, however his arms became bigger and he started to resemble a bird with a big beak and feathers.
"Finally they transform." Etienne chuckled and then saw how the victims crushed the tables, he quickly tried to bind them with his tentacles, but they were strong and it was difficult for the French to hold them.
"Walter!" Etienne suddenly exclaimed, "If you hear me it's time to come!"
Suddenly a strong amount of energy repelled Etienne and he fell onto the floor freeing the mutated criminals.
"What was that?" Etienne looked at the creature that now were in front of him, he tried to tie them again, but a puff of wind made him to break the wall in fall into the corridor.
"Mister Richar!" Etienne heard a female voice, it was Liza, who ran to him with a spear in readiness.
"Walter! Your experiment is destroying the lab!" Etienne shouted one more time.
"I heard you for the first time." the French scientist heard a male voice, "No need to call me twice." Walter was between Etienne and the monsters, "Now, obey your Lord one more time!" Walter commanded, however the creatures didn't listen to him, "I told you to obey!" he stretched out his arm and the demons suddenly stopped and fell onto their knees, "I order you to listen to me!" Walter's voice became more serious, the mutants seemed flinched, however they stopped their resisting, "Finally. It appears their memory is still damaged."
"Who the hell are they?" Etienne got up and swept his robe.
"My subordinates." Walter was watching at the mutants, "Now, I hope they will serve me better than before." he grinned then, "And since my faction will be full now, I will be more mobile."
"Subordinates?" Etienne narrowed his eyes.
"My generals, which were killed long ago." Walter answered coming closer to the two demons, "Now, remember everything, what you must know!" Walter put his hands onto their foreheads, and in a several seconds removed them.
"Lord Atke?" the creatures looked at the man in silver armor, "You're alive…"
"Atke?" Etienne looked at him.
"Now, I'm known as Walter." the second demon lord said to them, "I'm glad you remembered everything."
"Accept our apologies for losing those people." the one that looked like a bird bowed to Walter, "If not our recklessness we wouldn't lose them."
"I can't belive, I lost to some humans!" the massive creature with pincers roared, "Even my regenerate power was useless then."
"I hope you understood, your mistakes and will not repeat them." Walter said seriously.
"But where is Dolyam?" the bird type mutant asked watching around, "Is he somewhere else?"
"He is dead." Walter merely replied, "Instead of him is another one, she is stronger than him. And at the same time she will lead you two."
"A woman?" the massive one roared, but after seeing Walter's eyes he flinched and only bowed to him.
"Oh, and almost forgotten." Walter put his hands onto their foreheads one more time, "This people are our allies, so I forbid them to touch."
"As you wish!" the two answered.
Etienne and Liza were watching carefully at them, but the silence was abrupt because of another man who rushed to them.
"Mister Richar!" he exclaimed, "The mutants… they have escaped!"
"What?!" Etienne shouted, he rushed along the corridor and Liza was behind him, while the other scientist was after them.
'It seems, because of mine he lost his pets.' Walter narrowed his eyes.
Etienne reached the biggest room, where everything was destroyed, the wall was crushed and there was a hole now which looked out on the Tokyo Kingdom.
"How the hell it happened?!" Etienne shouted at the scientists, who still were shocked of the destruction.
"I don't know." one of the scientists answered, "There was an impulse, and the collars were deactivated and because of that they could escape."
"Impulse?" Etienne pondered, 'Could it be because of these creatures?' he frowned.
"I must apologize for that." Etienne heard Walter's voice again, "Because of me, your own creatures escaped. If you want I can compensate it with my blood." Etienne's eyes suddenly gleamed, "Or I can look for your creatures."
"I think you must not only return them, but…" Liza wanted to lecture Walter, but Etienne stopped her.
"Your blood will be enough." Etienne answered, he looked around and saw a big ampule, "And Celine's blood too." he took the glass vessel and handed to the demon lord.
"No problems." Walter nodded, "But why her blood too?"
"Just for experiments." Etienne only answered, Walter looked at the French man with narrowed eyes, as if he wanted to know what was in the head of his.
"If it's all, what you want I'll ask her to give it too." Walter smiled, he took off his glove and scratched his palm with a finger of other metal glove, and started to fill the ampule, "Done." he concluded, when everything was done, "If you don't mind I'll go then now. Sorry for problems."
"Don't think about it." Etienne answered him, watched at the ampule.
"Mister Richar, why did you…" Liza turned to him, but was unable to finish as Etienne interrupted her.
"I don't want to have quarrels with him." he said being displeased, "At the same time, I'm interested in a new project now. I think with their bloods I'll be able to find something significant."
"Why did you…" she wasn't able to say again.
"For now, you can have some rest, I'll go and check something." Etienne looked at her, he left the laboratory, 'If Celine also gives me her blood near time, I'll be able to see what how their blood will work on me.' he walked ahead the corridor, 'Walter's blood I tested only once fighting that purple haired woman, but it took a lot of power, when the effect was stopped. Probably the effect will be another when I try to combine it?'
Tatsurou and Rinko were walking by the streets of Gosha village. The brother and the sister, were talking to each other about their casual duties and trainings. There were not so many people, so the two of them weren't distracted too much.
"I still can belive, we go to Yukikaze and we'll meet Auntie." Rinko said, "We did it several times now, but it's still like a dream."
"Yes." Tatsurou nodded, "Even we saved her, I still can't belive myself to that." Tatsurou smiled, "Thank goodness that mission was successful."
"But I hope you'll warn me next time, when you're ready to do something like that." Rinko lectured her younger brother, "I was angry at Pavel, when he told me that, so I don't want to hurt anyone else because of you."
"Don't worry, I'll never do that again." the boy smiled to his sister, "Interesting, what Aunty will cook today?"
"Who knows?" the purple haired girl shrugged with her shoulders, "But I missed her food." then she looked at her younger brother, "By the way, I wanted to ask you, but hadn't time to do that." Tatsurou looked at Rinko, "How was to work with these guys? Much better than with veteran Taimanin?"
"Well…" Tatsurou pondered, "They are mercenaries, and the ways of their work is different from ours. However there something I like to work with them."
"And what is that?" Rinko raised her eyebrow.
"They always try to help their comrades." Tatsurou answered, "These guys are really strong and their moves and skills are incredible. Honestly, I would like to work with them one day again."
The siblings were walking fast, and reached the farthest part of the village where was a large building, that reminded a castle. They entered its territory and appeared in the inner yard. There were some trees, and bushes, several benches under them, nevertheless there were no one here right now. So the two siblings went further to the doors, which left into the building. The hall where they were now was large, and they went to the stairs that led to the second floor, saying hello to everyone who appeared in their way. They went to the farthest part of the castle, and then entered a room, which looked like a kitchen.
"Aunty, Yukikaze, we came." Tatsurou and Rinko said to the woman, who was standing near the stove, and to the girl, who was sitting at the table and was waiting for food.
"Just in time, the breakfast is almost done." Shiranui said to them taking some plates and putting them onto the table, "Yukikaze is eager to have them." she chuckled.
"Mum!" the girl looked at her mother, "I think Tatsurou and Rinko also wait for you cooking."
"We do." the two nodded.
"My, my what impatient kids." Shiranui chuckled.
She put the plate with thick pancakes she also put cream onto the table.
"Since it's a day off, I think it must be something sweet." the woman sat next to them and started to watch how young ones started to eat.
Yukikaze ate as if she was hungry for several days, while Tatsurou and Rinko were careful.
"I still can't belive that we have food like this again." Shiranui said with a warm smile, "Go to mission and do other stuff. I thought I will never be able to on a mission with my Yukikaze."
"But still we went, and even scared that bee guy." Yukikaze chuckled, "By the way, is there some other mission for us?"
"Well, Asagi called me in the morning and told to come in a day time to the academy." the woman with a ribbon that looked like rabbit's ears said, "She think there is an anomaly."
"Another seal?" Rinko looked at the woman.
"I think it's what we must know." Shiranui sighed, "And that means we will meet these guys."
"They are really strong." Rinko pondered, "I will never forget my first meeting with them. How Etienne Richar just fixed his arm back again."
"But with 'Red Division' it's a little easier to fight them." Yukikaze replied, "If not their help we would have more problems with them."
"I'm still thinking for who they work." Shiranui replied, "It's easy to say for Russia, but if it's so why they won't just come to Gosha." she raised her head, "And there was no direct information on that in report on darling." then she pondered, 'And that Cyclopes, I remember I've seen him, but I can't remember where.'
"What are you thinking about, mum?" the daughter looked at her mother.
"Nothing, just also think to work with them." Yukikaze heard an answer, "By the way…" she suddenly grinned, "Tatsurou, Yukikaze." she watched at both of them, "I hope you didn't do anything bad, while I was away."
Yukikaze suddenly coughed as she choked with her pancake, while Tatsurou only became red and turned his face away.
"Mom! Not while we eat!" Yukikaze exclaimed.
"Sorry, dear." Shiranui apologized and clapped her by her back," Oh, and if you want we could have a practice after my meeting with Asagi." she added after a little pause.
"I don't mind." Rinko nodded.
"I'm in." Yukikaze also answered.
"Me too." Tatsurou joined to the girls.
The students ate their breakfast, and decided to go and play some games with Yukikaze, while Shiranui washed the dishes and started to get ready for leave.
It was a day time when Shiranui reached the academy. She didn't hurry and wasn't pondering about upcoming talk, she was thinking about everything what was happening around. She was smiling on her way to the academy as if she didn't belive that she was here again. She was watching at the trees which were naked. A cold wind blew and she got her scarf up in order to close her nose.
Shiranui reached Gosha Academy, and when she entered the building she headed to the office of the principle. Asagi has already been there.
"If you wanted we could meet at a café of in the restarunt." Shiranui looked at Asagi with a smile, who was working with some papers.
"The talk I have should be discussed without extra listeners." Asagi answered Shiranui with a smile too, "At the same time, I think you'll have some work with your squad tonight."
"Is it really a seal?" Shiranui took of her jacket and scarf and hang them onto the hanger.
"I hope it's not, but the anomaly was in Tokyo, so we can't ignore it." Asagi started to make coffee, "That means you must be careful and be undetected."
"Like always, nothing new." Shiranui chuckled, "And if it's not a seal?"
"It can be the work of that demon, Aki and Maki told me. But his power is gravity, but not lighting." Asagi answered, "And the anomaly was lightning, it hit several times, but still there were no clouds and it hit at some direct place."
"I see, at least we have one place to check, but not the whole Tokyo." Shiranui took the mug and did a sip, "Let me guess, now we break in teams, am I right?" Asagi only nodded, "Then Yukikaze will be glad to hear that she will work with me now." Shiranui looked at the window and then asked Asagi again, "By the way, how is Rinko doing in your squad?"
"Good." Asagi replied, "She is in charge of the other students and can fight like a professional hunter, and Ilya is also an interesting one. However Maki ad Aki are still to study a lot."
"Mine are all talented." Shiranui chuckled as if she wanted to pique Asagi.
"Don't worry, they can quickly adapt in fight, so everything is not so bad." Asagi quickly parried and also drank her coffee.
"Will you also go on a mission?" Shiranui asked the principle.
"If you need a help my squad will join you." Asagi replied, "The mission is just an investigation, I don't want to send a lot of people in one place, because something can happen I another place."
"Don't worry." Shiranui smiled to her, "I have a feeling that 'Red Division' will help us, so it's better for you to stay in readiness." the woman didn't want Asagi to focus a lot of people in one place because of some investigation, "And was there anything from the building where that wasp guy hid?"
"No, they haven't been detected anymore." Asagi shook with her head.
"And what about Kuroi?" Shiranui asked Asagi again narrowing her eyes, "What did you think about him?"
"I still don't know, meet him or not." Asagi looked at the mug, "From one side he must know something about them, but from the other one he can make a trap in order to get me or both of us."
"I see." Shiranui nodded, "I will not advise you here, because it'll be on your own. I want to kill him and would go in order to do that, however you want to know answers, so it's up to you to decide what you will do."
"I will think about meeting him." Asagi mumbled taking out a paper out of her desk, she watched at it, and then put it back.'
Asagi and Shiranui talked a little more and then decided to do some paper work, in order to reduce it for little. And then the woman with the ribbon went back home, while Asagi did absolutely the same.
Masami, Ren, Maria and Pavel visited Inageya straight after the girl's therapy. The place was almost empty when they came as it had been just opened. Though it was cold, the boy decided to order ice cream with cocoa. Ren took orange juice along with some cookies. Masami decided to take pancakes with coffee, while Maria drank only tea.
"For what happened today, I'll pay for Masami." Pavel said before they sat at the table, "It's the least I can do as in a sign of apologize."
"You don't need." Masami quickly protested, "Indeed it was cruel, but it was needed for further step. So I don't angry at you."
"Sure?" Ren looked at Masami, "I think you're still a little angry."
"I'm not." Masami answered to the girl with blue uniform.
When the orders were brought, they continued their talking.
"By the way, sensei, when you do that last treatment?" Pavel asked the woman.
"I think tomorrow or the day after tomorrow." Maria replied, "I need you for that, so I must understand won't you be taken for mission or not."
"Well, I think we can do it tomorrow." Pavel pondered, "But if there will be a mission, I'll try to find another day for that. Man, the ice cream here is the tastiest!" Pavel said after eating one spoon of his dessert.
"Even don't want to return to Russia?" Maria asked him, turning her head to the boy.
"Man, if I return beck I will miss them." Pavel answered her.
'Return back?' Ren thought watching at him, then she turned away.
"What is it Ren?" Masami looked at her classmate.
"Nothing." Ren only shook with her head and drank some of her juice.
Pavel looked at Ren too, but said nothing. The teacher with her students ate everything and then decided to leave as the people started to come little by little. The friends wanted to go for a walk, while Maria planned to go back to the dormitory, when she suddenly turned around.
"Andou, can I have a talk to you? It about what you must do for the final therapy." she seemed serious, however not overly.
"Of course." Masami nodded and walked with Maria to the other side, while Pavel and Ren left alone.
"Man, it was really difficult for me." Pavel said after being calm for some minutes, "I can't belive I did something like that."
"But still as I told you she accepted it." Ren answered him, "So there was nothing to worry about."
"If only she knew about that, I wouldn't be that nervous." Pavel said again, "But make her to have stress, I hate to do such things." he bowed his head.
"It's good that everything was done well." Ren smiled trying to encourage him a little, "By the way…" she suddenly mumbled, "How about to train together?"
"Huh?" Pavel looked at Ren with wondered eyes.
"But if you have some plans, then we can…" she didn't finish her words as Pavel interrupted her.
"I don't mind." Pavel smiled to her, "We also must work on our combo." he was trying to remember correct sequence of their moves.
'I don't know, how but even spending time with him is enough for me.' Ren glanced at Pavel, 'If I'm not able to stay with him, I just prefer everything to go as it goes now.' she looked at the grey sky, which started to become blue a little, 'If only we weren't from other countries. Why fate is so unfair?'
Pavel and Ren walked for some time and then decided to go to sport ground, where they have a fight not long ago. However they were stopped by Shiranui, whom they saw on their way.
"Good after noon sensei." Ren and Pavel said hello to the woman.
"Good afternoon." Shiranui was surprised to see the boy and the girl, "Having practice even in your weekends?"
"Kinda." Pavel answered her, "We decided to work on our attack. Who knows when it'll be needed?"
"Nice to hear, you always try to work over yourselves." Shiranui smiled seeing diligent students, "Especially before mission."
"Do we have a mission?" Ren and Pavel were surprised, "Again these scums?"
"I don't know." Shiranui shook with her head, "Nevertheless, there was some anomaly in Tokyo, which we must check."
"The seal again." Ren pondered.
"We don't know yet." Shiranui answered her, "That what we must know about it. I hope there is nothing of that, but we must be ready to meet these guys." the woman with ribbon answered seriously this time, "We must be ready even to fight Walter."
"That means Pavel must fight him too." Ren looked at him remembering that only his sword was able to destroy the bones of the demon lord.
"Don't worry, we will cover you." Shiranui put her hand onto his shoulder.
"I don't worry, but…" Pavel stumbled, "I just think, how it is possible that only my weapon worked on him. Maki is more powerful along with Yatsu-sensei, why they did nothing, while I could?"
"That's what we don't know." Shiranui answered him, "But since you're our striking force, you must be near everyone in order to join the fight." Pavel nodded, "Well, have a good training, but at eight be near the academy, as we will overthink our strategy."
"Yes!" Ren and Pavel replied to the woman and then saw at how she headed back to the main part of the village, but after a minute they walked to have train before they go to the mission.
