"Sirzechs, you know us Archangels hold some respect for you, but that only goes so far. Your words infuriate me to my core, so I would appreciate you not speaking such nonsense again."

Sirzechs rubbed the bridge of his nose in annoyance as he looked across at Michael and Gabriel.

"Michael, I don't mean any disrespect, but we have suspicions your father may have been reborn. His actions are making us think he might have turned darker from this."

These fools. They honestly believe that my Father is the God who created these angels. What led them to this idiotic thinking?

"We have found a new angel who seems Fallen in origin because of her dark wings. However, she is radiating more holy energy than we have ever felt."

"Even with how amusing this is, I'm going to stop you here, devil. I don't think little Michael can take much more of these foolish ideas."

Hikari intervened in the conversation and appeared above them floating down using her jet-black wings. Her black hair flowed elegantly in the wind. Landing on the ground, she noticed that everyone in the meeting was on guard, not knowing what she was about to do.

"Please do attack. It would just make this more fun for me."

Sirzechs raised his hand as he dropped his guard. Signaling that everyone should do the same.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. May I ask what your name is?"

"Hikari, before you ask your next question, no, I'm not an angel or fallen. So, the thought that my father is God's reincarnation is false."

Sirzech's eyes widened slightly as he realized his thoughts were being read. He indeed was planning on asking about my race.

"What are you then? Who is Mavros? What are your goals?"

Giggling at his questions, my eyes landed on Michael. Seeing him studying my wings as he was shocked to see what he believed to be an unknown angel. Well, Fallen Angel.

"Who are you?" He mumbled as he watched me. As if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"I'm a friend. Here to offer my help in your new war." I said, clear amusement in my eyes.

"We aren't in a war yet. We're trying to prevent one." Sirzechs stated, glaring at me.

"Oh, you still believe that is possible. You are very amusing. Don't get me wrong, it's admirable but very naive."

"It isn't naive. Another war would just cause unnecessary deaths. I'm trying to prevent this." Sirzechs yelled, his power fluctuating slightly in anger.

I couldn't help but laugh. Not even caring at the look he sent my way or the confused look in Michael's eyes. Gabriel started fidgeting as even she could sense something was about to happen.

Wiping a lone tear from my eye, I twirled a fragment of my energy in between my fingers. I looked at it for a moment and when it was finally diluted enough. I flicked it toward Sirzechs at a speed he couldn't react.

I saw his queen rush me out of the corner of my eye, but I barely registered it as golden chains erupted from the ground, stopping her movements.

Sirzechs started screaming in pain as his very body started cracking under the holy nature of my power.

"It's funny you think you got a choice."

Watching Sirzechs thrash around did give me some amusement as I watched his body transform. His skin seemed to melt off, his flesh being replaced with a mixture of white and red energy. The wings he used for flight deteriorated as if his body deemed them unnecessary. One of his arms shifted into a grotesque combination of remnants of enlarged flesh, destruction, and holy energy. Taking the shape of a scythe. One side of his face joined his arm, completely ruining the looks that many used to drool over.

Grayfia screamed in horror as the form that used to be her husband kneeled to me. Showing them I had taken control of a Satan in seconds.

"Hm, I might have used too much holy energy. No matter, this will still do."

"Why did you do this?" Michael asked as he backed up placing himself in front of Gabriel.

"It's cute you believe you could protect her. Don't worry, I don't plan on turning either of you into a mindless beast. Sirzechs's pride would have just gotten in the way. No, I'm sure, we will get along just fine the way you are." I said, giggling at them as they both grew worried.

"Now, Gabriel, please be a dear and go gather the forces of heaven. I will need them for when my father awakens."

Not questioning the chance to leave, Gabriel used her magic power to form a magic circle to heaven. Leaving Michael, Grayfia, and Sirzechs with me.

"What do you plan on doing now?"

"Well, devils are annoying creatures as their sins encompass their very beings. Which makes it very difficult to control them. So, I'll strip them of their free wills as all I need from them are to be soldiers."

"You didn't answer my question, why are you doing this?" Michael asked, trying to remain calm.

"I'm no fool, my father is too powerful for me. I beat him once because of the element of surprise. The same way won't work twice on him, so I'm going to supercharge thousands of devils, fallen, and angels. I'm certain they can at least wear him down."

"I see, so we are disposable to you."

"Sorry, do you not like being my toy? I can fix that thought process for you."

Michael shook his head trying not to react, I could read his emotions though.

"No, I was just trying to look out for my people."

Saying nothing else we made our way out of the room. Grayfia being bound by the chains and being dragged along with us. Sirzechs stumbling along as we left. Devils stationed outside did try stopping us as we left, but Sirzechs stopped them with his energy of destruction. I cared little for the small loss in the forces I would be amassing. I was just using them as a means to tire my father out. Even if in his vast wellspring of power, this wouldn't be little more than a hindrance for him.

This is all they could muster... pathetic. Army's of heaven and hell and only about forty thousand subjects are worthwhile. The rest are mere trash. The fallens aren't better sitting at ten thousand that are of noticeable status. It is quite entertaining though. I can feel their disdain for being forced to work together in their subconscious. However, on an instinctual level, they all fear me. My holy presence is too much for many devils to tolerate and being reduced to cinders. The only thing keeping them alive is me rescinding it. The angels and fallen covet my power, but feel two different emotions for me. Reverence and fear.

As my power eclipsed their father they wished to be closer to me, but also they wanted to run as they could tell I was nothing like him. Chuckling to myself, I rested my hand on my palm leaning into it. Waiting for Father is boring, but I can't do anything about it. His presence has disappeared in all realms the only place I feel him is in the presence of Great Red and Ophis.

Great Red because he is another lock on the seal he placed upon himself and Ophis because she is pregnant. A part of me wants to tear the baby out of her in front of him as I know he would feel pain from seeing it. However, it would only hurt the Mavros side of him. The better side if only he would have been around those centuries ago. Maybe this would be different, but nothing will stop my vengeance at seeing him perish at my hands.

"Do you truly wish for it to end like this, young one? To see your father completely fade."

The enormous presence of power appeared next to me. As I felt someone sit on a throne that wasn't there before. Looking over at them, I saw a man of slender frame but you could see the defined muscles he kept concealed beneath his clothes. He wore an all-black T-shirt and jeans pants. A black leather jacket covered his arms and sunglasses covered his red eyes. His red hair on top of his head filled me with annoyance as it was how my father looked.

What is up with men and the color red? Especially, for beings that could change their appearance at will. Why choose the color red? I truly don't understand. Shaking my head, I paid attention to the creature next to me. I knew who they were, it was quite simple what status they held. The one at the Apex. The one that all beings should fear as nothing is beyond his grasp. Well, beings that weren't on the same standing as him. Like my father and I.

"Red, surprised you aren't still playing around in the stolen abode of yours. What brought you here? Did you come to stop me? I'm sure you know that would be a fatal mistake for you."

Red chuckled shaking his head.

"Nothing like that, Hikari. Plus, you and I both know that would be a fatal mistake... but not for me. My death would only give him more power. You could try sealing me, but I'm quite certain I could make a flame or something strong enough to reduce me to ash before that. Are you inclined to try, dear?"

I released my holy energy causing the platform we were on to crack under the pressure, but he didn't even budge as he remained seated on the chair. Clicking my tongue, I recalled the energy.

"What do you want?"

He hummed to himself as he looked over the army below us.

"Nothing. Just curiosity got the better of me. See I knew who your father was since the beginning. My domains of dreams allow me a lot of insight into others. So, I know how he thinks and what he wants to achieve. I even know you and I know this isn't truly what you want. So, I wonder why you go down this path?"

"First, what do you mean by beginning? The beginning when he became Mavros or the beginning of my father's life. Before he ascended."

"I've lost track over the years. I know he is older than I am, but yet with my knowledge, I feel as if I came before. I'm not quite certain about which beginning I speak either. As they both are the same." Red said, looking thoughtfully to the side his eyes shined behind his glasses with an energy that I wasn't familiar with. "It doesn't matter, though. It would result in the same outcome, so would you answer my question."

I hate having to deal with seers. They act as if they know everything past, present, and future yet reveal nothing. If I could see the future that would help me out with a lot of my problems. Yet, this had always been something I could not achieve. As if it was something my body couldn't grasp. Maybe something dear Dad placed upon me.

"You claim to be able to gain insight into others through their dreams, but still come to me for the answer. Why not delve into my dreams and find out yourself? Take out the middleman. Not have to worry about deceit."

"I guess it's to understand. Find out the difference between your conscious mind and subconscious mind." Red, said answering my question then continued with his own input. "You would think that it would be better to cut out deceit, wouldn't you? After he abandoned you, you always were prone to distrust. Not hard to understand why for what happened after." Red said, glancing at me. A look of pity in his eyes. Filling my being with anger. He could not understand an inkling of my pain. Dreams would only show him so much. How dare he believe he could understand.

"Don't speak about that! You have no right. Speak about that again and I don't care what consequences would arise, I will kill you."

"A touchy subject of yours, hmm. Interesting, very well, I'll refrain from antagonizing you any further. I see, you won't answer my question in this matter. So, I'll leave you be." Red said, moving to the edge of the platform we are on.

"Wait, if you can see into other's dreams do you know where my father is?" If I could find out where he is, I could start the attack before he wakes up. I can't feel his presence anymore, but once I know where he is, getting to him should be easy enough.

"Yes and no. He sealed himself in the Abyss. His source of power, yet something that vast doesn't truly have a place of origin. It's everywhere and nowhere. Maybe given enough time you can find him, but before then he would wake and this little army of yours would be reduced to nothing in that realm." Red said, going silent for a moment. "Then again, you may not survive for long there yourself. After all, it's why your father kept you away from him. I'm sure you are aware of that by now."

Then he fell off the platform, leaving me to my own thoughts. The Abyss... of course, he went there. The one place even I can't reach.

Sighing to myself, I turned to the sky and closed my eyes. I'm tired... so tired.

****
Prime

It has been a while since I've been home. I can already feel the Abyss wrapping around us as if giving our body a hug, welcoming its master home. Plus it isn't just welcoming us. It's trying to change our form. I can feel it destroying the body and reshaping it. I've felt this pain before, so it's nothing new to me. Pain is something I've grown accustomed to.

Mavros on the other hand probably is experiencing a pain worse than death. He is experiencing the pain firsthand since he is controlling the body, so it just makes it worse for him. Could I help him and take control for a while? Probably. Will I? Absolutely not. This is something he must triumph over if he is to be deemed worthy to harness my full power. If he wishes to save his family.

I feel the Abyss trying to wrap around Elizabeth since she is floating in the darkness while Mavros assimilates my power. Viviane is here too, but she is in her sword which is acting like a shield for her. Elizabeth isn't so lucky. If I wasn't ordering the Abyss constantly to ignore her, it would destroy her. I won't let her go, even to the Abyss, she is mine.

Mavros's will is quite impressive. Some have tried tapping in the Abyss before and knowing the result I allowed it. Hoping maybe someone could achieve victory over a part of it. Maybe they could pose a challenge. However, they all perished once the Abyss started to change them. The few who did tap into it realized too much would cause them to lose their form, so only tapped into its base power.

Even if Mavros can't completely fade due to our connection the Abyss could very well try and force our merge allowing me to take control, but he is fighting it. Overcoming the impossible odds. For a soul so young it's quite a marvelous feat. Even Hikari couldn't do what he was doing. Then again she never had to. I made her like me and caused her to skip this process.

Something started happening that caused me to focus back on Mavros.

"Interesting."

You could no longer make out your body anymore. Only parts of it remained like an eye, a hand, and part of our chest, the rest took the shape of a shadowy substance. Light shining out from inside the smoke. Our souls fought for dominance over the new form we were changing into. Mavros still was fighting to remain conscious during the transformation.

"You know, only one of us can leave here, right? Why are you fighting this much? You could just let it happen and I would take control. My experience far outclasss yours. I'm the better option in this scenario." I know Mavros was listening, but he was preoccupied fighting to answer. "Plus, your will would just transfer to me. Do you think you could stop Hikari with your measly fighting prowess? She may be weaker, but she has hundreds of years of experience compared to you. All this work to save them and you just end up failing in the end. That would be quite pathetic."

I felt his fighting go slightly weaker as if agreeing with me.

"Are you willing to risk everything you cherish? Just so you can triumph over me."

Nothing happened for a long while after I said those words, both of us maintaining our wills in the battle. Mavros always seemed to find a second wind right before I dominated him, coming back to continue the fight. Just barely though as if Mavros didn't want to disappear but also did not want to lose his family. Knowing my words to be true.

Knowing this would go on for eons if this didn't end soon... I decided to end it.

"Very well!"

The Abyss exploded as a light emitted from our new form. Sending out a wave of distortion that would change everything.

A/n:

So... I'm going to be honest. I've had this written for months. (This originally had around six to seven thousand words.) I've just been stuck on the path to take. Should I allow Mavros to take over... or should Prime. Originally, it was always meant to be Prime, but I felt like the plot leaned toward a different route. So, I would write the route with Mavros. Then not like it. So, I wrote the route with Prime again. Then also didn't like it. Just both seemed off to me.

Back and forth on these routes before I decided to leave it open. This leaves suspense and allows me to work on the next chapter when I already know what I want. Which originally was supposed to be included in this one. However, this suspense wouldn't have worked well if I had done that.

Anyway, the next chapter will be the last for the Mavros/Prime story, but I will have one last Omake about the BNHA world that was left behind which will be its own chapter.
