It was a cold winter morning. Snow fell in the school yard and covered the traditional Japanese architecture, blanketing it in a pristine sheet of white. The school was yet to open for the day, taking in the beauty of nature and soaking in the peace of the winter morning. The gentle snowfall added to the serene atmosphere and created an idyllic setting for this small place of learning. The morning was calm and quiet, and although the day ahead would no doubt bring challenges, this moment of tranquil relaxation was much appreciated by all.

The group of five cautiously stepped out into the snowy courtyard, their shoes crunching against the ice-covered path. The cold wind whipped at their clothing, but they remained unfazed, their sights set forward and their mission clear. The three men looked determined, walking in lockstep with precision. The girl was huddled close to the panda-like creature, its fur keeping her warm in the frigid weather. The group remained silent, but their thoughts and intentions were evident in their solemn demeanor. They were there for a reason, and they wouldn't let anything get in their way.

"Maki, can you stop using my body as a heater?" said the panda.

"Shut up idiot! I forgot to bring my sweater!" replied the girl with black hair and glasses. The group of five had stopped to catch their breath before continuing on their journey. The three men remained silent, their faces betraying nothing as they surveyed the landscape. The girl, Maki, was standing next to the panda-like creature, its fur acting as a makeshift blanket to keep her warm. Panda, however, did not seem as pleased with the arrangement, making his displeasure known by swatting at the girl. The other three men stifled their chuckles at the sight of Maki's desperation and Panda's lack of enthusiasm. After a few moments, the group continued on their way, determined to complete their mission.

One of the men, dressed in a white Gakuran uniform and a thick scarf, turned to the man leading the group. "So, Gojo-sensei. What's our mission? And why are we out during winter?"

The man with white hair and blindfolds shook his head. "Don't worry about it. The mission is confidential, but it's very important. Let's keep moving."

"Right..." With their mission still a mystery, the group walked into the winter landscape, determined to complete their task.

Seconds, minutes, and hours passed. And Yuta couldn't resist asking about their mission again when they were in the car. He looked over at Satoru, waiting for an answer.

Satoru sighed and looked out the window at the passing landscape, his expression serious.

"Our mission is to check out the most remote village in Japan," Gojo explained. "Shirakawa Village. There's been reports of a supernatural incident there, which is why we need to investigate." He added.

Yuta and the others were surprised to learn of the supernatural nature of their mission. Their curiosity grew as they imagined what it could mean.

"Shirakawa Village is a village for Jujutsu sorcerers who served outside the Tokyo and Kyoto institutions," Satoru explained. "They were assigned to guard Tengen-sama's pure barrier located in the Hida Mountains. We need to investigate and make sure everything is okay. "

Yuta and the others were intrigued by the importance of the mission. They couldn't wait to see what they would encounter in the remote village of Shirakawa.

.

Pure Barriers, a superior type of barrier that raises the precision of Tengen's cursed spirit suppression and the barrier techniques cast by assistant managers from Jujutsu High. Four of them; the Imperial Palace, the Tombs of the Star, the Yamakuni Mausoleum, and Hida Mountains, are crucial to the jujutsu world. And what a coincidence, Shirakawa Village is located right next to the Hida Mountains.

.

From Tokyo, the group traveled by car to Tokyo Station to take the train to Shirakawa Village. Based on the estimated travel time of around 5 hours, it would be a long journey, but they were ready for it. The mystery of the supernatural incident in the remote village kept them motivated as they started their journey.

Throughout their journey, the group sat and stared out the window. The view was filled with the endless rice fields and majestic mountains that made up the Japanese landscape. As they watched the scenery pass by, a sense of anticipation grew within them. What mysteries would they uncover in the remote village of Shirakawa? Their curiosity kept them entertained during the long train journey, and before they knew it, they had reached their destination.

Maki broke the silence, asking Satoru about the supernatural incident that occurred in Shirakawa Village. "So, do you know any details about the incident? I'm not sure what to expect once we get there."

"The incident we will be investigating is related to the mysterious killing of civilians and sorcerers that occurred in the village." Satoru shows photos of the corpses of the killed civilians and sorcerers on his phone.

"That's not good. Do we know who or what is responsible for these deaths?" Asked Yuta.

Gojo shook his head. "Unfortunately, I can't give you too many details right now. Based on the reports we've received, it seems like there is something very unusual going on in the village, but we won't know for sure until we get there and investigate ourselves."

As their mentor finished explaining the reason for their mission, the group nodded in understanding. They grew increasingly curious about the mystery of the deaths in the remote village of Shirakawa. With only their mentor's brief explanation to go on, their imaginations raced as they wondered what strange phenomena they would encounter once they arrived. The anticipation was palpable as they continued on their journey, eager to solve the mystery and discover the truth behind the strange occurrences in Shirakawa Village.

I Am Not Myself

.

The group finally arrived at the train station in the remote village of Shirakawa after hours of traveling. The setting sun cast a warm glow over the landscape, painting the sky a vibrant shade of orange. As they stepped off the train and into the village, they were met with an atmosphere of serenity and peace. Everything around them seemed so still and quiet, as if time itself had slowed down. However, the tension of their mission and the mysterious incident they had come to investigate hung in the air, leaving them feeling uneasy with the unknown.

"Welcome to Shirakawa Village, Gojo Satoru-san and his group. My name is Hagane Kotetsu, and my partner is Kamizuki Izumo, we were assigned to pick you up," said a black-haired man with a bandage across his face.

"Yes, please lead the way"

After disembarking from the train, the group was greeted by two people who were tasked with picking them up. The group followed them as they walked into the lush, snowy woods and through the expansive snowy fields. As they trekked through the landscape, their senses were filled with the natural beauty of the village. The smell of the fresh air and the sound of the gentle breeze were calming, offering a welcome respite from the long journey they had just undertaken. However, their peaceful surroundings could not completely alleviate the tension of their mission, and the mysterious incident weighing heavily on their minds.

"So, have you identified who the perpetrator is? Or any clues about it?" Satoru asked.

"We've caught him, but it takes extra effort to do it. So we sealed him and guarded by sorcerers," replied Kotetsu.

"Salmon Roe" said Toge with concern.

"Who or what did it? Human? Cursed spirit?" Yuta asked.

"About that..." Izumo found it hard to explain, and so did Kotetsu.

"As Satoru said, we will see it in person" Panda spoke up, the others responded with nods of agreement. They then continued their journey through forests and rice fields covered in thick snow.

The setting shifts dramatically into an empty, dark room in an old warehouse. The only light comes from the candles that cast a soft glow across the scene. In the midst of this eerie atmosphere is a person locked in a cage, decorated with a tag bearing complicated Kanji characters.

Staring blankly at the wooden floor is a boy with blonde hair, sapphire blue eyes, and whiskers on his cheeks. His blank stare is full of regret for the things he has done all this time, and he doesn't dare to make a sound in his cold and lonely confinement.

"I...I...I can't believe I did that...what has happened to me?" the boy spoke, pacing nervously in the small, dark room, tears spilling from their eyes.

"What is wrong with me? Why can't I control myself? Why is it always like this?" He asked himself, turning to an empty corner of the room as if to speak to someone else.

"Why?!" He screamed, as he continued to question the events that had unfolded, their emotions rapidly shifting from sadness to anger to confusion, and back again.

"Why...why did I do such horrible things? It's not me...that was some horrible, evil part of myself taking over. I couldn't help it..."

"You're lying to yourself." a harsh voice said from within.

"No! No, I would never do such horrible things! It's not me!" the boy protested, as he continued to pace in the empty, dark room.

"You're pathetic," the voice said.

"Shut up!" He yelled. "That's not me!"

"Why did I do it? I don't understand...the monster within took control...it wasn't me who killed them, I swear I didn't do it!"

"Yeah, yeah, keep lying to yourself, you monster...you killed them in cold blood, and you know it! And you loved it!"

"No, no, please stop...just...leave me alone!" The boy's soul was divided, his being split into two distinct entities. When two souls share one body, the struggle between them can never be underestimated. One moment, the boy is calm and peaceful, his soul seemingly at rest, but the next moment, he erupts in rage and madness, his other soul completely in control. The constant back-and-forth, the battle for dominance, and the sheer chaos that comes from being two people in one body would drive anyone to their breaking point, and yet, this boy perseveres, surviving against all odds, and maintaining a semblance of balance, despite the intense turmoil that rages within him.

The boy's empty, regret-filled glare continued, the only sound in the room coming from the soft flickering of the candles. Suddenly, the door to the dark warehouse swung open, casting a bright light into the room. Standing before the boy was a group of people: Satoru, Yuta, Maki, Toge, Panda, and local sorcerers Kotetsu and Izumo. The boy's eyes widened in surprise as the group entered, a hint of fear dan rage flashing across his face before he quickly composes himself. The tension in the room was palpable, the weight of the mysterious circumstances hanging heavy in the air.

"A human?" Panda is quite confused.

"But, he looks the same age as us!" Yuta is the same.

"Salmon"

"Whatever it is, whether he's human or not. He's killed people, hasn't he? Now let's settle this-" Maki couldn't continue her words.

"It wasn't me!!!"

BREAK

RUMBLE

Without any warning, the cage that imprisoned the boy burst apart with tremendous force, smashed into splinters from the power of the boy's reddish orange cursed energy. Now, his sapphire blue eyes had turned blood-red with vertical pupils like a fox. His whiskers had become thicker, and his blonde hair had grown slightly longer. His expression had changed, replacing the blank stare of regret with a look that was now full of anger, hatred, and maliciousness. The tension in the room grew, as it became clear that this boy was no longer the same person that had been locked in the cage only moments before.

The group was on alert when they noticed the signs of threat coming from the boy. But not with Yuta and Satoru. Yuta remained silent, his thoughts consumed by reflections of his past. He remembered his himself, when he had been constantly haunted by the curse of Rika.

'He's exactly the same as I used to be!' Yuta was lost in his own thoughts, ignoring Panda and Maki who called his name.

"Yuta! Hey! Focus!"

"Huh? Y-Yeah!" and he returned.

The pain and suffering he had experienced weighed heavily on his mind, and the sight of the boy, who seemed to be going through the same thing, brought back painful memories. The tension in the room was palpable, as everyone tried to comprehend the strange and ominous situation unfolding before them.

'In terms of numbers and pressure, it's even greater than Rika's. Who exactly is this boy? No, what's inside his body?' He thought. Satoru's silence filled the room while he focused on the unusual cursed energy flare coming from the boy. This was the first time that he, the strongest sorcerer, had ever seen anything like this. He observed with curiosity as the strange energy danced around the room, emitting menacing vibes. The tension in the air grew thick, as Satoru tried to figure out what this unusual cursed energy was and how he should respond to it.

"Gojo-san, should we cast the veil?" Kotetsu and Izumo are ready to do it. "No, we got this" Satoru took a step forward, challenging the overwhelming power that emanated from the boy. He did not seem afraid in the slightest, despite the ominous presence of the cursed energy.

With a simple gesture to his students, Satoru indicated for them not to worry, as if he was confident that he could handle the situation. His boldness and determination were matched only by the sheer strength and magnitude of the cursed energy that he was facing. The air was thick with tension, as everyone watched in awe at the clash of power between the strongest sorcerer and the fox-like boy.

SWOOSH

'He's fast!'

The boy sprang into action, moving like a swift fox. As claws grew out of his fingernails, he was ready to tear Satoru apart in an instant.

"Graaarghhh!"

BRAKKK

But strange things were happening, as if something invisible was stopping the boy in his tracks. It was Satoru's cursed technique, Infinite, which blocked the boy's advance like an impenetrable wall. The boy's momentum suddenly stopped right in front of Satoru's face, a hint of surprise flashing across his blood red eyes. He was caught off guard by Satoru's strength, as the group watched the showdown with a sense of anticipation.

'What an incredible power! A strike from this claw can exorcise a special grade cursed spirit in instant!' Satoru's assessment of the boy's power was clear in his mind. The amount of force generated by the boy's claw swing was indeed impressive.

'This is even more powerful than Rika's!' Likewise, the group was equally surprised by the sheer magnitude of the boy's strength. This boy's abilities were unexpected, and the group was filled with curiosity, as they wondered where his powers had come from and what he planned to do with them.

The tension in the room grew as they watched to see if the boy would try to find a way around Satoru's Infinite, or if he would retreat and reconsider his actions.

WOOSH

TAP

Satoru attempted to attack, throwing a hail of fists at the boy. But the boy swiftly avoided the blows by backflipping backward, keeping a safe distance from Satoru. He took a stance, similar to a fox preparing to pounce on its prey, ready to strike at any moment.

'Not only fast, his reflexes are also very responsive'

Satoru was impressed by the boy's quick thinking and agile movements, as the group observed the back-and-forth with interest. They could not predict what the next move would be, and the tension was thick in the air as they waited to see what would happen next.

DOOM

"Graaaaarghhhh . . . !"

RUMBLE

'His energy...increased rapidly spontaneously!'

'What the hell is this?!'

Satoru and the group were stunned when they witnessed the boy's reddish-orange cursed energy slowly rising up until it cracked the wooden floor and walls of the warehouse.

CRACK

BREAK

They had never seen anything like it before, and the sheer force of the energy was enough to rattle the entire room. Satoru and the group stood in awe, watching the ominous display of the boy's power, as the tension in the air continued to grow. They could not help but wonder what else the boy was capable of and what he planned to do with his immense strength.

DOOM

The boy's cursed energy flare continued to increase, and with it, a strange transformation began to take place. As the overflow of reddish orange cursed energy expanded, it slowly formed a tail, like a fox's. It was truly a magnificent, yet ominous sight. Satoru and the group watched in awe, trying to wrap their minds around the unusual occurrences they were witnessing.

'What is that? A tail?'

"This is getting worse. Kotetsu-san, Izumo-san, tell the villagers to stay away from the warehouse as far as possible"

"Yes, Gojo-san!" They nodded and quickly left the warehouse, understanding their orders. Satoru and the others watched them go, knowing that they had to do whatever it took to make sure everyone stayed safe.

They could not help but wonder what the boy's tail could be used for and what other capabilities it could possess. The tension in the room was thickening, as the boy's power continued to grow.

SWOOSH

"Grrraaaarghhh!" The group watched with tense anticipation as the boy quickly moved, his target no longer Satoru, but rather Maki. The boy suddenly appeared in front of her with his claws extended, ready to tear into her face. 'Fuck! I let my guard down'

"Maki!/ Maki-san!"Panda and Yuta were late in responding to the boy's movements.

'Shit! He's faster than before!' Satoru is the same.

Time seemed to slow down as the groupwatched in horror as the boy suddenly appeared in front of her, his sinister intention clear. The mood shifted dramatically as everyone's attention suddenly turned to the tense situation unfolding before them. The tension grew thicker with each passing second, as it seemed as if the boy was about to strike at any moment.

"Blast Away!"

DOOM

BREAK

Toge quickly came to Maki's defense using his cursed speech technique. Forcing the boy to blast away, destroying the warehouse wall and crashing into the nearby snowy trees. The group watched with a mix of horror and awe as the boy's intense power decimated the warehouse, sending splinters of wood and pieces of the ceiling flying in all directions. Toge's cursed speech was unexpectedly effective, and a hint of relief washed over the group as they witnessed the boy's destructive energy being redirected away from Maki.

"Aaaarghhh...!" Toge's action of using his cursed speech technique to rescue Maki quickly took a turn for the worse. The strength of the boy's cursed energy and the intensity of the words he spoke had a negative effect on Toge, causing him to vomit blood. He already knew the backlash of his own technique, and his throat was clearly damaged by the immense power he had attempted to contain.

"Toge! Are you okay?!" Panda, Yuta and Maki rushed to him. "Here, Inumaki-kun" Yuta immediately gave him throat medicine.

"Dammit, if only I hadn't let my guard down!" Maki blamed herself. The group watched in dismay as Toge crumpled to the floor, the blood still dripping from his mouth. The tension in the air was growing thick, as it seemed as if things were only going to get worse from here.

"Save your guilt for now, Maki. This isn't over yet," Satoru noticed, the boy who was back on his feet like a fox after being blasted away.

"Grrrghhh...!" The boy glared at Satoru and the group with sheer viciousness, as if he was not satisfied with what had transpired a few moments ago.

"Graaarghhh!!!" With a determined stance like a fox, his cursed energy began to rise again, slowly forming a second tail. The tension in the air was growing thicker and thicker, as his power continued to grow and his anger began to surface.

"Now what?!"

'Two tails? Wait a minute, for some reason my gut feeling says something bad about this' They watched in awe and apprehension, unsure of how they were going to handle this unpredictable and dangerous situation. They could not afford to make a mistake, as the boy's cursed energy continued to reach new heights.

DOOM

RINGING

As the boy's power was about to reach a new level, something unexpected happened. Three chains suddenly appeared from his chest, moving wildly around his body in an attempt to restrain him and suppress the flames of his cursed energy. The tails he had formed slowly disappeared as he returned to normal, unconscious.

"What the hell is going on?" Maki was even more shocked and confused. "I don't know, but the boy is back to normal," said Panda.

"Salmon, cough!"

"But thank God, he doesn't show any threat anymore" Yuta breathed a sigh of relief. But he couldn't help but feel sympathy for the boy. Consumed by the power of the curse, he tries to harm the people around him. 'You'll be fine, don't worry!'

They tried to make sense of the strange, yet beneficial events that had just transpired. It was clear that the boy's immense power had been somehow curbed, but by who or what, they were unsure. They could only hope that his unconscious state would remain.

"Yuta, report to the villagers that the situation is safe now," said Satoru.

Yuta nodded in understanding. "Yes, Sensei!" then left the warehouse.

"Now what are we going to do, Satoru?" asked Panda.

"Are you going to just hand him over to be executed? Just like Yuta before?" and also Maki.

'Now it's all getting really complicated' Satoru's mind was filled with questions. He wondered who the boy truly was and what was the source of his terrifying power. The mysterious chains that suddenly emerged from the boy's body and restrained his curse energy were particularly puzzling. He knew that he needed to find answers, and the right person to look for them was his fellow special grade. His mind ran with possibilities, as he realized that much more was at stake than he had previously assumed. The boy had a mysterious and powerful energy within him, and Satoru needed to understand the nature of this mysterious force.

"No, I won't hand him over. Those damn geezers have made me sick" Satoru approached the boy, then carried him on his back.

.

"I will take him to Tsukumo Yuki, to research what kind of cursed energy and power that he has."
