I apologize for any delays. I dropped my phone in the sink while doing dishes and it died permanently, so I lost chapter I had lost my newly finished chapter for my Yugioh story...so I'm going to have to find another duel that fits the next chapter, but for now, I have this idea.
It was inspired by Read Alerts one-shot that featured Harry replacing Ben, I can only hope I do it justice
Also, just so you know things won't change right away outside of some of his aliens.
If any of you have any suggestions for new aliens id be willing to hear them, as well as any tips for fight seens...I know that's not my strong point.
I don't own Harry Potter or Ben 10
"You little Freak! You think you can ruin my business meeting today?!"
If Harry wasn't in so much pain he would sigh, his uncle had a big meeting with a company today, and like any actual competent company, they saw the irregular numbers rise in any project Vernon worked on. That caused them to back out and like usual, Vernon blamed him for it even though he never even knew about that meeting because he was just recovering from yesterday's beating when Dudley brought back his report card and was only passing computer class. He still didn't know how he got blamed for that. He had only gone to school once, and he was a straight-A student. Both of the Dursleys beat him for that, Vernon for doing better than his brain-dead son, and Petunia for putting Dudley through the shame of being beaten out by a freak. The woman had some serious incompetence issues when it came to her Deceased sister.
His thoughts were broken when Vernon landed a punch smack dab in the scar on his forehead. Vernon backed away with a cocky smile on his face after he felt his nephew lose all resistance, signifying that he was no longer conscious.
That smirk faded however as a pink mist began festering around the boy's scar and it seemed to spread, his whole face now littered with cracks that were so deep you couldn't see the bottom. "Vernon. I think you broke him." The whale of a man nodded. A terrifying scream sounded as black mist erupted from his original scar, and they watched in Horror as his flesh peeled away and hair fell out until a small being with glowing pink hair floated in front of them with black skin. With a flash of bright light he was gone, but the moment it faded the police burst through the door and saw the remains he had left behind.
Max Tennison jumped in surprise as a pink light appeared next to him. He had come to Londons' hidden alien establishment to find some rare ingredients for his dinner. "Now what are you doing here? Most Anodites wouldn't give birth here..." he knelt and frowned at the very faint glow from the male Anodite.
Pulling out a strange device he pressed a button and a female's head appeared in a hologram. "Max? You haven't called me for ages..." she pouted.
Max smiled sadly at his ex-lover, "sorry Verdona...but I need your help." He turned the camera to the small boy laying near him.
The usually fun-loving and carefree woman vanished in an instant, replaced by the woman who was far older than her appearance seemed. "I'm on my way."
Max Tennyson sighed and rubbed his face, his cover had been broken. The high breed needed to be taken down, but to do that he needed help...more help than two young Anodites could offer, especially since Gwen hadn't been able to take her alien form. Hopefully, his grandson would be willing to strap on the Omnitrix again.
Leaving a message behind he took off, slightly upset that he had to leave the rustbucket...but it was too noticeable.
Harry grinned as the game moved closer to him. The match was nearly over and he had plans to meet Max at his rustbucket, the man and his extended family had taken him in after Verdona had healed him and he loved spending time with his new surrogate grandpa, even if they weren't related by blood.
That reminded him to visit his parents. They always grieved over their blood-born son around this time of the year and he always liked to visit and imagine Ben with them on those days. The boy had gotten very sick at a young age and couldn't make it, his parents were devastated and only truly recovered when Grandpa had brought him to them, but they still took a day to remember the boy that was their blood son.
He had moved out of their house after the Goblins had made him emancipated upon his graduation from his magical education and moved into a long-forgotten house the Potters owned here in the states when one of his ancestors fell in love with Bellwood and decided to stay.
As he unlocked his bike he frowned at the girl approaching.
Harry grinned as he approached the rust bucket, "grandpa Max!" He opened the door and his grin slipped at the empty dark RV.
Max Tennyson was many things, but he didn't neglect his home. Raising his hand a pink glow erupted from his hand and confirmed what the dust started. Nobody human had been here for a long while...but in the back where the beds were was, something else. He couldn't identify the species, which was worrying.
"You can come out. I know you're there."
The alien came bursting out with a cry and its face turned into a mass of tentacles that reached for him, but with a flash of light, it was subdued. "Disgusting human! Release me." It growled out.
Harry frowned but approached the thing, "not even able to see past a disguise...what are you." He stared into its eye and was confused, his memories were split in half...almost like a possession. Reaching out he tapped the things head and in an earsplitting screech, a small alien detached itself from an older man's face, his body reverting to human.
"Ugh...gross. He vanished the thing with magic as the man ran away terrified.
Flicking a few switches a small compartment popped out by the microwave. Harry grabbed a small disk, "a holoviewer?"
Pressing the button Max appeared above the disk, hello Harry. I left this recording where I knew only you or Gwen would find it. I'm in a bit of a situation, but nothing I can't handle. Love ya kiddo, say hello to Gwen for me." The hologram flickered for a second, oh! And don't worry about the Omnitrix, I have it with me safe and sound.
Harry frowned and reached for the bag he always kept around his neck, he always carried the Omnitrix with him in his mokeskin pouch since it had come off when he was 11.
Turning and locking the door he grabbed his bike, perhaps Gwen would be able to help figure out what was going on.
Sitting at the top bench he smiled down at his friend, his parents and Max had tried to get them to be raised as cousins...but neither took to that. Some of Gwen's first memories were of her cousin Ben, and she felt that she'd be replacing those memories with Harry if she did...and Harry had bad memories associated with the term 'cousin'.
Harry and Gwen hated each other as kids, Gwen had been a little stuck up and snooty and she at first hated him for 'replacing' her real cousin, but slowly over the summer they grew close and it had boosted their relationship, even more, when he helped her out when she began showing signs of being an Anodite to, though unlike Harry she couldn't take her alien form yet for some reason, and she had said that she would never see him as a cousin...he had become a very dear friend, They had traveled all over America when they were 11 with their grandpa visiting sights and fighting alien criminals for the whole summer, and afterward both had been visited by a professor from the magical world and been told of the magical side of humans.
Both of the young Anodites had leaped at the chance, Harry to discover his origin story and Gwen to learn more than just a book she had stolen from Charmcaster. Unlike the British Isles, American wizards welcomed new blood and loved progress, and having the so-called boy-who-lived was a boon for them. Harry had excelled at charms, DADA, and Transfiguration and Gwen at potions, runes, arithmancy, and Alchemy, and both did well at the other subjects resulting in their magical graduation earlier than usual. Harry had managed to sort the mess his families finances had become under whoever had been running it since his parents' death, though some heirlooms were missing and couldn't be found...the goblins were investigating but they had to do it discretely as all evidence pointed to someone high up in the British Wizengamot.
After they graduated from Ivermorny they hadn't seen much of one another, Harry continuing his muggle education normally and Gwen not slowing down. Last he had heard the school was considering sending her off to college soon.
"Point! Winner, Tennyson!" The coach's voice broke him of his revere. He stood and headed down to the gym floor clapping loudly for his friend.
Gwen looked up at the rather enthusiastic clapping and smiled, ignoring the slight heartbeat skip and heat that rose to her cheeks that came with seeing Harry again. "Harry!" She threw her arms around the boy.
"Hey Gwen, long time." He hugged her back.
"So, just decided to watch the final match of the year?" She asked curiously.
Harry shook his head, "no...I need your help." He held a watch up and her eyes widened slightly.
"Alright, let me get changed and we can talk." Gwen said as she walked off to the lockers, her nose catching a faint smell, "and wash myself off to...ugh" she whispered to herself.
Gwen exited the locker room and frowned at the dark empty place, Harry wouldn't just take off like that...but she had been in the shower a little while. Closing her eyes she stretched her mind out looking for her companion and almost gasped as his presence became well known to her instantly. His mana only flared like this when he shed his human form.
Looking up she grinned at the Anodite floating up above, he seemed to be in a deep meditative state. "Hey. You wanted to talk?"
His glowing eyes opened and he looked down, reaching over to grab what she could only guess was the Omnitrix, and floated down. "Here...listen to this. It doesn't make sense what Max is saying."
Gwen frowned and hit play, listening to the recording. After it ended she put the device down and sat back as Harry floated above her, "why would he say that though...you've carried the Omnitrix in your mokeskin pouch since it came off your wrist. The safest place for it since only you or I could open it."
Harry nodded, now hanging completely upside down, "true...but what if whatever this situation he is in requires more than just two young Anodites."
Gwen nodded, but before she could reply the door burst open, "the Omnitrix ain't for you. What are you doing here Anodite?"
Harry frowned, he could feel the distortion in the Mana around him...meaning an Illusion. "It's usually polite to introduce yourself in your real face, and I was born here. Kinda my homeworld, I've never been to Anodyne."
Gwen looked at her friend in confusion, at least until the stranger seemed to pull his face off and in a flash, a fish-like alien was in place of the human. "Weird...it never ceases to surprise me the advancement of alien technology..."
Holding up his badge he spoke in a clear authoritarian device, "hand the Omnitrix over. Now."
Harry landed lightly and appraised the alien, "you're a plumber? Where is Max Tennyson."
That caused him to hesitate, "you know Max?"
Gwen nodded, "we're looking for him. He's my biological grandpa and his adoptive."
His gun completely dropped in shock, "he's your grandpa? That makes you the legendary Harrison Tennyson."
Harry frowned at the use of his full name, he didn't hate it...but it was a mouthful. "Just Harry is fine."
"My apologies...I thought you were just some kid who made off with the Omnitrix from the rust bucket. I was working closely with your grandpa, perhaps we can continue where he left off?"
In a flash, Harry was standing next to Gwen in his human form, "if it leads us to whatever, or whoever has Max."
Gwen stared at her friend in shock since he was detached from the Omnitrix he had tried his hardest to live a normal life. Truthfully tonight had been the first night she had felt Harry shift into his Anodite form since then, "are you sure? You seemed so happy with your normal life."
Pulling the Omnitrix out he stared at it for a second, "yea...it was fun for a time, but I'm not a human Gwen. It's time I stop trying to hide that fact." He strapped on the watch and frowned as the usual green and occasional red hourglass instantly turned blue.
Harry looked around, "why does this all seem so...familiar?" He mumbled.
Gwen frowned at Harry's choice of clothing, baggy Jean's with rips across the legs with a green shirt that had the number 10 on it, with a biker style jacket that was black but had green and pink stripes across the biceps of both arms. Harry tended to dress a little edgier after he had met a certain girl, and she didn't know why it infuriated her...but it did.
"This is the location of an arms deal. Your grandpa Max found out about it."
"Who's buying, and who's selling?" Gwen asked.
"Don't know the seller. Your grandpa vanished before he could tell me, but a buyer is a group I've heard you've come across before. The forever knights." He motioned for them to get down as two trucks entered the railyard, and followed by a green and black 2009 Dodge Challenger.
As the dodge stopped and the lights went out Gwen had to growl in frustration as Harry's cheeks turned slightly pink as a woman stepped out of the car, she had long flowed, but messy black hair was in a sleeveless black shirt that dipped just far enough to let a sneaky bit of cleavage out, similar ripped baggy jeans as Harry but hers also came with a few belts that hung loosely around her waist and she wore combat boots, and around her neck was a silvery chain that was attached to a bike lock with the number 11 engraved onto the metal, "t...that's Kenna."
The plumber frowned and turned to him, "know her?"
"That's Kenna E. Levin...or Kenna eleven as she loved to be called once people started calling me by the number 10, She's, an old friend."
The plumber growled in anger as Kenna was showing off the weapons she was selling, "those weapons are level 5 technology. Earth is level 2, barely 3 at best."
Harry glared at the alien, "alright. Well, since you decided to blow our cover." He leaped out and one of the forever knights was sent flying with a kick to the face.
"Drop your weapons! That technology isn't supposed to be on earth." The plumber held his badge up.
As Gwen began shielding the shooting from the forever knights and the aliens began belching up green goop a voice stopped Harry from helping his friends, "well well. Hey Tennyson. Been a while."
Harry turned and stared at Kenna as she cracked her neck. "Kenna..."
"What...no hello?" She placed a hand on a nearby container, and the other on her face, as the metal seemed to begin to cover her body. "Love the new look by the way. Still not over me?"
Harry growled, Kenna had been his first crush as a child but she had taken that and used him. Eventually, he had discovered that she was using her powers to leach alien abilities from the Omnitrix and ended up going too far, becoming a strange golem that was all his aliens combined and accidentally trapping herself in the null void.
"That's fine. I still owe you some revenge from last time."
Harry frowned, "you did that to yourself."
Harry had to leap over the swing as she growled, "not to mention you ruined my deal today. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get money in the galaxy? Not everyone can receive a fortune from their dead parents."
A pink Beam stopped her fist from impacting, "considering all you would need was a large enough chunk of tadenite it can't be that hard."
Kena frowned, "I lost the access I had to it when I was trapped in the null void. Especially after I finally returned to my human appearance."
Harry frowned but his eyes widened as the forever knights and face-huggers surrounded him, looking off to the side he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Gwen was just covered in green goop and not injured.
Everyone had to shield their eyes as the Omnitrix burst into a bright green light, and Harry stared in amazement as the watch became much more like a regular watch. Gulping he pressed the lever and stared in amazement as new aliens appeared above the display. "You want to play rough. Let's go." He pressed the button and everyone stared in amazement as Harry was replaced by a tall squid-like alien.
Kenna stepped back slightly, "a vilgaxian...that's new."
Harry had never truly believed he would've turned into the same species as Vilgax, but he wasn't complaining. "Oh, you guys are in so much trouble." He punched a forever knight away.
"Harry! I could use help here." Gwen called, not even remotely amused that he had gotten distracted by Kenna. the only thing that made it better was she had seen the worry in his eyes as he looked for her when he saw the forever knights around him.
"I'm on it, Gwen." Green beams erupted from his eyes and the goop shattered around her.
Kenna grunted as she threw a train car at Harry, but frowned as he merely slid underneath the car and punched a few more forever knights, nobody noticing that the aliens had all fled the scene.
She went for another train car but got knocked back, Harry had used his eye lasers to blow it up in her hands, her vision fading the only thing she could think of was, heh...I missed this.
"You might have hit her too hard Harry." She heard as consciousness came back. "What are you gonna nickname this alien anyway?" a flash of greenlet her know he had transformed back to his human form.
"Gax should piss Vilgax off." Her eyes opened and she was lost in those emerald green eyes for a split second, "see? She's fine Gwen. I've seen her take much harder blows than that."
Sitting up she frowned at the lights that acted as handcuffs, her powers weren't working. "Energy cuffs kid. Ain't nothing to absorb."
Harry scoffed, "not true, she could absorb those."
Kenna grunted trying to break out, "not now...I don't have that much control of my powers yet. Have to say, I missed our little scraps, Harry."
Harry scoffed, and frowned at Gwen, "Gwen, turn around for a sec."
She frowned but complied and saw a flash of pink, "alright it's gone. You still had some of that stuff in your hair."
"Thanks, Harry." She smiled.
"You're in a lot of trouble girl. These weapons run on aether point energy systems, a dangerous weapon even for species who can use them."
"How's that my problem?" She asked.
"The forever knights took off with a crate full of them Kenna." Harry sighed.
"Not to mention someone could get hurt." Gwen frowned.
"You set up the deal. Tell us where to go and I may go easy on you."
"Kenna, you didn't get paid when they took those. I know you wouldn't let that kinda thing slide back in the day." Harry sighed as she remained obstinate.
Kenna grinned and stood, "you always did know how to speak my language. I'm happy to help."
"Still think I should've driven." The alien commented.
Harry scoffed, "back when we were kids Kenna never even let me drive go-karts and stuff. I imagine it's only gotten worse with her car." Harry looked back at Gwen and the plumber.
"Harry's right. Nobody drives my ride but me, besides the cars here on earth are a lot different than your homeworld."
"Anyway...what's up with those aliens?" Gwen asked.
"Don't know. Never seen them before." The plumber sighed.
"They're like that movie we saw as a kid Gwen...Alien. one was in the rustbucket, I managed to get the face-hugger off and the human underneath ran off."
"What?! Whatever is behind this is committing a serious felony. Tampering with another species DNA like that is strictly prohibited." The plumber growled as they approached a castle.
Harry sighed, "I forgot how subtle the forever knights were." He said, his words dripping with sarcasm.
"How are we gonna get in," Kenna asked.
"Gwen, you take left I get right?" Harry asked.
"Right." She smiled and two beams of pink energy grabbed the side of the draw bridge and they pulled.
Entering into the castle Harry frowned as a big red eye stared them down, stop...
The dragon rose to the field and roared, "since when can you speak snake, Tennyson?" Kenna asked.
"All my life, but that's not a real dragon. It cants understand me."
A wall separated and a few forever knights entered the room with lazer Lance's.
"Well, that's a warm welcome," Harry grumbled, grinning at the alien image that appeared as he activated the Omnitrix.
in a flash of light, he had purple skin and light green eyes. Harry smirked as his hands shifted into a mace, "oh, you guys are in so much trouble. I don't even have to figure out how to use this guy. I think ill call him Sludgehammer!"
Gwen hid her flinch at seeing a lenopan, cousin Lucy tended to leave a bad impression on that species. Flicking her wrist a pink wall formed a wall blocking the blasts the forever knights shot at her, then retaliated with a pink blast, leaping over the alien she built up magic in her hands and sent it a wide area stunning spell outward.
standing upright she looked around and saw Kenna smashing forever knights into the ground and Harry attacking the dragon.
Harry grinned as his arm stretched and punched the fake dragon in the face so hard it went flying, as the dragon opened its mouth and began glowing Harry laughed and launched mud down its throat until mud began leaking out of the previously unknown joints, turning his eyes widened as he saw a forever knight with a broken lance.
Kenna smirked as she swung her metal-covered arm and knocked out the lead knight, she should have known that teaming up with Tennyson and his nerdy sidekick would lead to some fun. Always had before, she was telling the truth before…. she had missed Tennyson. he had always had that flare she was attracted to. she was not entirely sure why she had betrayed him as she did.
"Look out!" the plumber leaped and tackled her, saving her from the blast that she hadn't even realized was coming at her.
she turned around and stared in shock as the forever knight picked up a broken blaster and pulled the trigger, but instead of shooting it sparked and exploded in his hand but before either her or the plumber could react a wall formed around them.
"What is this stuff?" Kenna asked confused
the plumber hummed, "ah. the mud of a Lenopan. Tennyson seems to have been looking out for us"
"gross." she pulled her finger back as the mud receded and returned to Harry, who had shifted his fist into a massive hammer.
"time to drop the hammer," he smirked as he swung his arm towards the fake dragon, crushing the robot, sending the mud bursting forth. Gwen raised a shield around all of them to stop the wave from covering them.
"you could warn us, Tennyson." Kenna glared.
Gwen crossed her arms and frowned, "seriously Harry. I'm not in the mood for a mud bath."
"Sorry….." he grumbled.
Kenna and the plumber threw all of the lances into a pile, "that's all of them."
Harry absorbed the mud around them and used his enlarged hand to crush the lances, turning he frowned at the plumber when he saw liquid dripping from his suit, "hey….are you ok?" In a flash of light, he returned to his human form, "you're leaking."
The plumber held his hand up and the liquid began smoking, he collapsed, "ugh…."
"are you alright? I keep a tire patch kit in the trunk." Kena said
"no time…." He said weakly
"We can help you!" Gwen said desperately as she racked her brain for healing spells that would help, but Labrid seemed to be thinning far too fast.
"you want to help, then finish the job find out where the level 5 tech is coming from."
Harry sighed sadly as he noticed he was nearly skin and bones, "I promise"
"That's just the tip of the iceberg, kid. Your grandpa was on the trail of something big - an alien conspiracy with Earth in the middle. He was working undercover. If you crack this case, maybe you can find Max and save your planet."
"I've never done this without grandpa…." Harry said
He managed a smile as he gripped Harry's shoulder, "you….are Harrison Tennyson. you can do anything."
His body was encased in steam and when it cleared he was gone.
"oh no….." Gwen gasped and threw herself into Harry's arm holding back tears while Harry wrapped his arm around her.
Harry stared down at the suit, "I can't do this alone."
Gwen wiped the tears that had formed away, "you know I'm here for you Harry. Just like on Xenon."
Harry grinned and nodded, "Kenna…. I know theirs no money in it. but we could use your help."
Kenna knelt and grabbed the badge silently, "I'm in." she stood, "you never could get much done without me anyway." she smirked
"where to first?" Gwen asked.
Harry smirked, "let me show you a new trick, Gwen."
