"Is everything alright?" Asked the woman.

"Thank you, Fara." The vulpine clutched his cranium. "I guess I had a great big fall like that old nursery rhyme."

"Fara? I just told you my name was Eileen; Eileen Phoenix."

Fox jolted upright, "My fucking head! It hurts so damn much! Can't you feel it?! The fucking screaming isn't stopping because of my mistake!" His eyes rolled back into his head as his eyes closed and he fell down.

Sirens whirring, ringing, louder and louder. "Shut the fuck up! I'm trying to sleep!" He wrapped his pillow around his face.

"Hey Fox, Krystal here. I'm really worried about you. The cuts on your wrists?! The weeks without showering?! The ramblings, the constant ramblings. Peppy told me-"

"I don't care about your damn opinion, you blue temptress! I know you are rotten to the core, playing with my emotions and the constant distractions with your skimpy outfits. You were trying to leech off my menergy, you dirty rotten spy!"

"Menergy?! Temptress?! Fox! I came here because I actually still somewhat give a damn-"

"I don't need your pity, my father was right. You are a rotten moldy evil imposter. Once I kicked you off, you immediately went to a different boy toy, oh wait you did! Panther Caruso. I wonder what he is up to? I should give him a chat, maybe I can convince him to see you for who you really are!"

"I'm not with Panther anymore. I came because I love you. I always loved you, even when I said those hateful things. I loved you, I just was hurting deeply because of the breakup." She looked at the floor embarrassed. The cerinian tried to be as calm as possible.

"Well I don't care, you can take your feelings and shove it!" He cackled.

"I'm trying to be reasonable and I understand you need space but to treat me like shit? Fox, I thought-"

"You call yourself a telepath but you are a fraud, you couldn't even guess what I was thinking, for that we aren't compatible." The vulpine scoffed.

"Our bond is breaking, Fox. I think my telepathy is tied to it. That's why I couldn't use it." Tears formed in Krystal's eyes as she spoke.

"I have to kill you, my father he wants me to and I just can't, I don't know. I hate that I don't have the strength. I need to put a end to your reign on the lylat system." His face scrunched up. "I would rather thank the woman who saved my life than the likes of you, begone."

"No I am not leaving you, I love you." The vixen grabbed his arm. "I know you do, I just can't. I need you to just go for your own safety." He pleaded, his lips trembling.

"Never, I won't leave you. Not this time, I won't let you make the same mistake."

"Krystal, I love you, I swear to god please just fucking heed my advice, my father he-"

The blue vixen's eyes widened as Fox jammed a sharp object into her neck, losing control of his body. Fox sobbed, "Why couldn't you have just stormed off angrily and never see me again, why did you have to come back to me when I gave you subtle and overt warnings not to. My head it fucking hurts. My mistake, my fucking mistake. It won't stop. I can't stop it. But we will reunite in time my love, you have my promise."

Fox kissed her dying body.

"We will reunite and I will do anything in my power to make it happen, it will happen."

"I know"

Fox awoke in a bedroom, he wasn't alone. There was a woman in his room, his mind felt hazy. "Sweetie, did you have a bad nightmare?"

That voice didn't sound like Krystal, it couldn't be? Could it? The fox pondered as he turned the light on.

"You?! I slept with you?!"

"What the hell?!" The woman jolted upright. The woman had large ears, an orange and yellow fur coat with crimson hair and beady blue eyes.

"You don't remember? I nursed you back to health after your fall. I'm Eileen Phoenix but you called me Fara."

Hyperventilating, sweat pouring down his fur, shaking uncontrollably. He found the courage to ask. "Is Krystal okay? Was she there at the hospital?"

"Krystal? Hospital? Damn you have some issues with memory, huh? I don't even know who this Krystal is but we never went to a hospital, I nursed you back to health."

Fox laid back down, pondering the events that transpired.
