We headed into the dungeon, following the crowd of Adventurers and Supporters, all trying to earn a living risking their life for a chance of riches and glory.
With Pebble on my shoulder, I lead Bell, Darkness and Paracelsus downstairs, getting a chance to look at my status.

Everythings good, health and armour wise, and the excellia getting larger, haven't got Hestia to update me yet, figure I get more and more before the big update.
Easy to get it all at once then updating my ranks every time I see Hestia.
"My first day in the dungeon" Darkness spoke with excitement, smiling as we walked through the doors, Paracelsus turned to Darkness.
"Don't be foolish, Crusader, overconfidence is a slow and sidious killer" Paracelsus warns her, making her frown with a blush.
"You don't have to be rude" Bell said, not liking the plague doctor putting down his familia member, I nod to said doctor.
"The doctor's right Bell, it's Darkness's first time, and the first time is always the most dangerous" I said to them, Pebble nodded as well, jumping from my shoulder to Darkness's.
"Don't worry Darkness, you'll do great" Bell encourages her, Darkness nods but keeps blushing.
"Thank you Bell but I agree with them, I shouldn't be cheerful, who knows…what would ... .happen to me down there" Darkness said with a blush, oh no she can't be serious.
"Don't worry, we'll be there for you" Bell states, always a little helper you are.
I shake my head while everyone follows me, noticing other adventurers clearing away from us, not looking at us in the eyes as they keep their distance.
Must be our own Plague Doctor, Bell notices the way others look at them and frowns sadly, remembering he does the same to the Plague doctor.
But Darkness doesn't know.
"Why are our fellow adventurers avoiding us?" Darkness asked, unaware of the Plague doctor's reputation to Adventurers.
"Plague doctors are feared by other adventurers, they fear our power in the guild, and we report any unusual activity" Paracelsus states, used to it at this point.
"Also that smelly bag you have" Magnus points out, getting Paracelsus to look at him while Pebble holds his nose, making a smelly gesture, Bell and Darkness smiled at his act.
"Smell?" Darkness asked, turning to Bell.
"Plague Doctors come to the dungeon alone, their smell drives away monsters from gathering stuff" Bell explains, must have seen the other plague doctors doing their thing.
"It helps keep monsters away" I told her, Plague doctors gather material from the dungeon, the smell keeps them away and even the way they dress make them look like monsters.
"I see, a noble goal to go alone" Darkness states, looking at Paracelsus in slight awe.
"Don't look at me like that" Paracelsus said, avoiding Darkness's look as we make our way down to the first floor.
I look at Darkness as I think about how we should do this, first we have to protect Paracelsus to gather material while also getting him to fight with some weaker monsters, while also keeping an eye on Darkness.
Darkness, a woman with strong defences but with no attack whatsoever, dear god why am I taking her down here in the first place.
She couldn't hit me standing still, how is she going to fight any monster down here.
Hope Bell doesn't cover her, I don't want her getting killed but what's the point of bringing her here if she can't even fight, at best an escort we have to deal with.
Or worse, we leave her as a decoy.
Let's not go there yet.
I turn to get their attention.
"Ok here's what we're going to do, Bell, you and I will let Darkness and Paracelsus face some weak monsters to get some excellia then we help Paracelsus's mission" I explained to them, they all nod.
"Fair" Paracelsus nods.
"Ok" Bell said, Pebble nodding on Darkness's shoulders.
"I will go first" Darkness walks forward, but I grab her shoulder.
"Don't make me save you on the first monster, otherwise there is no point to this" I said to her, getting my point across that if she doesn't get this right we will be having words.
"Magnus" Bell complains, but Darkness nods.
"I won't let you down," Darkness said, stepping forward, drawing out her sword, walking forward with the rest of us behind her.
"Do you have to be so mean?" Bell asked me, I sign to him, you need to be tougher, my little friend.
"Yes Bell, you know how dangerous it is down here" I tell him, he should know better, seeing Bell nod in understanding.
"I know but we shouldn't be mean to our familia Magnus" Bell said, Pebble sits on my shoulder, giving a slight hit to me, of now your agreement with him now.
"Without discipline you can't lead, Mr. Cranel, a leader needs to maintain order, especially down here" Paracelsus speaks in my defences, yes thank you.
"Don't worry Bell, I won't let our Goddess down, I will make both her and Magnus proud of me to be a part of my familia" Darkness states, standing straight as we all see a plump little goblin with large eyes down the corridor.
Ok here we go, turning the Typhon Gauntlet into the Water Gauntlet and Frost Gauntlet ready to heal Darkness and freeze the goblin.
The goblin notices Darkness, letting out a snarl as he starts to charge at her.
Darkness holds her sword to the side, the goblin takes a swipe, Darkness blocks the attack with her arm, not flinching from the attack as the goblin takes claw swipes at her, but Darkness takes each hit without taking any damage.
"Darkness" Bell tries to help, but Magnus stops him.
"Don't Bell" I told him, not letting him stop this, I need to see how she fights.
"Magnus, she getting hurt" Bell tries to help, but seeing Darkness getting hurt, not noticing how she blocks each attack, Darkness uses her sword to block the claws of the goblin and her body to block the other attacks, the goblin jumps forward to bite her.
But Darkness head butts the goblin, smashing the goblin's head.
"She has high endurance, and will to take each attack" Paracelsus sees how Darkness takes each hit, making the goblin hurt himself on Darkness.
I'm starting to notice how strong Darkness is, the goblin arms look broken.
"She can take a hit, our girl can take a hit" I said to impress Darkness' skills to take hits, she was hard enough for the goblin to hurt himself.
"We should help her," Bell said, wanting to help but I blocked my arm.
"This is her test, if she can't beat this one goblin without help then she should give up now" I said to him, Pebble looks concerned for Darkness, he was about to say something but I gave him my look.
"Besides, she is proving her worth" Paracelsus points out, Bell notices how Darkness blocks and takes each hit, seeing how strong Darkness is.
"She's amazing" Bell spoke in slight awe, now seeing what she is doing, no wonder she focuses on defences.
Darkness takes a few more hits, blocks each hit until she points it forward, the goblin jumps forward, impaling itself.
The goblin gasps at the sword in his chest, before exploding into a duct, leaving a monster gem on the ground.
Darkness takes a deep breath before smiling in pride, Bell and Pebble give claps for her.
"Amazing Darkness, you're so strong" Bell praises her with Pebble nodding, making her smile.
"Strength without power I see" Paracelsus states, looking at Darkness's body, seeing how strong she is without any attacking power.
I agree, she is good but not good enough.
"You need healing Darkness?" I asked, seeing if she needed healing, holding my Hydro water but Darkness shook her head.
"Not at all Magnus, such attacks couldn't even scratch my armour" Darkness spoke with pride, her armor doesn't look as damaged as normal, the quality proves itself.
Against a weak monster at least.
"Ok Darkness, you proved your tough" I said, making Darkness smile with Bell and Pebble.
"But you need more than that to even survive down here, goblins are considered the weakest monster in the whole dungeon, and they fight in a group, you might take a few hits without flinching but I notice you didn't even try to attack, I mean come" I pick up the stone, showing it to Darkness.
"It's not even human, come on Darkness, you can swing the sword at least, you have a sword but you don't know how to use it" I growl at her, making her blush and moan, oh come on.
"it a fucken sword, swing, cut, stab, stick it with the pointy end, it a fucken sword not a magic" I scowl at her, grabbing her sword to further my point, Darkness moans even louder, fuck me.
"Magnus!" Bell calls out, don't start with me Bell, Pebble frowns at me, I frown back.
No no no, She needs to get her act together.
"Magnus is right, you're an adventurer Darkness, not in law enforcement, you need to learn that" Paracelsus said in agreement, thank you Paracelsus. At least someone has a brain in this party.
"Paracelsus" Bell said, not wanting this to hurt Darkness.
"NO Bell, there…right…..there right, if I am to be an adventurer ... .then I must…learn how to be ... .a ruffian" Darkness moans with each word, ok this is hurting me.
"No Darkness you're still a noble knight" Bell said, wait what?
"I'm sorry Bell, I can't ... .be noble anymore…..for my life as an adventurer…..I must sacrifice my…..integrity" Darkness moans again, oh jesus.
"Darkness" Bell is in awe of her, even Pebble gasps at her.
"He's not serious, is he?" Paracelsus asked me, even he thinks Darkness is overacting, and Bell is eating this up.
Come on Bell, I take a deep breath.
"Ok, Ok you won a few points for your will, but not enough, not yet" I said, walking forward to find another monster, with the others following.
"Now for Paracelsus" I said, looking for another monster, hoping for another goblin.
Heading down the corridor, I hear a few monsters growling, goblins gathering into a group.
"Here we are" I called out, seeing the others catching up, seeing four goblins growling at one another.
"Enough for all of us" Darkness states, seeing there are four of us, we should be able to take them all, the goblins turn to notice us, snarling at us.
"Alright, pick your dance partners, and let's tango" I call out, Pebble holding on to my shoulder, aiming the Frost gauntlet at one, charging the mana into it.
Ice lance
Shooting a deadly shard of ice into the goblin, the goblin gasps at the ice in his chest, rushing forward skating on the ice. I create another Ice Lance, using the pointy ice shard to stab the goblin in the head.
Bell draws his Hestia dagger, cutting one of the goblin arms and his chest, with impressive speed killing the goblin with quick cuts.
Darkness blocks the goblin slashes, her armour taking each hit without much damage, Darkness takes each hit to her arms, blocking each strike with the goblin getting more and more angry, growling he goes for the bite, but Darkness puts her sword to the side of her. The goblin bites down on the blade, cutting the mouth of the goblin, Darkness grabs the goblin head and pushes it down, cutting the goblin's head.
Paracelsus stands back, avoiding the goblin attack, pulling out his dagger to slit the goblin throat, the goblin gasping in pain holding his throat, Paracelsus stabs the back of the goblin head, putting the monster out of its misery.
Each goblin exploded into magic rocks, we went to the area as we looked at the magic rocks.
"Nice" I said, picking up the magic rocks as did everyone else.
"I expected more," Paracelsus said, looking at the magic rock in her hand.
"It was only one monster, more normally showing up the lower we go" Bell explains, seeing there only on the first floor.
"With our combined might, nothing will stand in our way" Darkness cheers with bravo with her arm up.
"Yeahhhh" Bell cheered as well with Pebble.
But Paracelsus and I stare at them.
"Can we move on, I believe I can face more monsters" Paracelsus asked, I nod.
"Come on" I called out, gathering the party to head deeper to the dungeon.
Hopefully this won't turn into a shit show.
We headed forward seeing another group of monsters, this time five kobold, all snarling at them.
"I got this" I said, channel mana to the Water Gauntlet
Hydrobombs
Launch balls of water bounce in the middle of the group, exploding on impact of the kobolds, stopping the monster's momentum.
Paracelsus runs forward with Bell, both with their knives out, Paracelsus going right for the brains of one of the kobolds, killing it instantly while it explodes to the magic rock.
Bell starts slices and stabbing the dog monster, snarling and biting Bell as he keeps stabbing the head until it starts moving.
I aim for the one at the back of the group, aiming the Frost Gauntlet at him.
Ice Lance
I shot the ice lance at the wet one at the back, the wet kobold froze from the hydro water, and the monster froze completely.
The other two Kobolds shake their heads from the water, see the other two of them getting killed and get ready to kill them.
The two kobolds try to attack both Bell and Paracelsus, turning to aim at them, but Darkness stands in front of them.
Darkness holds her arms out as the two Kobolds bite down her arms, Darkness grits her teeth, seeing the two dogs monsters biting her arms but she doesn't move or filches, taking the monsters in front while the others finish off theirs.
I'm starting to get an idea for Darkness now.
Hydrobomb
Throwing another hydrobomb at her, the water ball bounces over Darkness, exploding between her and the two kobolds, hydro water hits the two dog monsters and gets them off Darkness' arms.
The dog monsters get sent back when Darkness knocks them back with her armor guards, both Paracelsus and Bell run in front of her, stabbing the wet Kobolds with their knives, stabbing them until they explode into magic rocks.
Bell and Paracelsus sign after finishing off the monsters.
I take a breath as we take a second, checking my Mana

"You ok Darkness?" I asked, seeing her take the bites, Pebble looked concerned from my shoulder, but Darkness shook her head.
"This is nothing but a scratch" Darkness said, showing her armor with bite marks on it, Paracelsus checks her arms.
"No blood, any bruises?" Paracelsus asked, checking for any injuries.
"Nothing to worry about Plague doctor, your healing isn't required" Darkness states, removing her arms from him.
"Thanks for guarding us Darkness" Bell thanked her, seeing the monsters about to attack them from behind, but she took the attack.
"Only doing my duty to my fellow familia members and my friend" Darkness holds her arm on her chest plate, showing off her knightly vows.
"You're brave is all I can say" I said to her, seeing her stand in front of two monsters about to attack the party.
"Why thank you Magnus" Darkness smiles, yeah brave,
But
"But also stupid, using your arms? You have a sword? Seriously? Why would you use your body? You have a metal sword to kill those two?! Come on, are you stupid or something?!" I call out to her, Darkness moans in pleasure.
"So brutallll" Darkness moans at my criticism, this is going to kill me.
"Magnus, she saved us, protected us while our backs were turned" Bell tried to protect her, Pebble nodding at my shoulders.
"It is risky using your body instead of your weapon, I see now you are a brave fool indeed" Paracelsus said, shaking his head in agreement with me.
"The doctor as wellll….this must be your treatment…." Darkness moans as well, I groan at her,
"No Darkness that was great, you so great taking that attack for us" Bell said, what are you trying to do Bell, can't you see she likes this.
Darkness frowns at Bell.
"No Bell…..they are right…While my instincts as a crusader….lllleads me to save your lives…..taking the harmmm…..the bittte and growlsss…..to save you….but as an adventurer…..I shouldn't let my role affect my judgement..mmmM" Darkness moans throughout that sentence, I walk to her.
"Don't follow your instincts, follow your head" I scowled at her, tapping her head.
"Whatever you have in that empty head of yours, use it" I tap her, making her moan in delight.
"So forcefulllll" Darkness moans out, Pebble jumps of my shoulder to her, giving her a hug.
"Magnus! don't be so mean to her" Bell scowls to me now, come on Bell.
"You know she gets off from this, right Magnus" Paracelsus pointing out the moaning crusader, yeah I know thanks for the medical review doc.
Of my god, we need to do something about this girl, her masochist side is going to get us all killed.
I see Paracelsus turn to his side.
"Watch out" Paracelsus called out, pulling out a ball from his belt. I turned to see another group of Kobolds, throwing the ball into the group.
BLAASST
The ball explodes in green stuff, like a grenade on the monsters, the Kobolds all stop and wince as the green stuff starts to melt their skin.
Wait a minute.
"Is that my Toxic element?" I asked the Plague doctor, see I gave him my toxic element for his medical research and stuff, he nodded.
"Correct Magnus, I was able to gather some from your last visit, putting the acid into what you call grenade, they explode on impact, this has proven their worth" Paracelsus explains, showing off another Toxic grenade on his hands.
"That amazing" Bell looks at the grenades in awe, as does Pebble.
Darkness looks at the monsters burning from the toxic, looking at me.
"youuuu cannnn makeee thattttt?!" Darkness asked, a bit of drool coming out of her mouth.
"It is one of the magic elements I can use, yes' ' I said to her, seeing Darkness swallow her saliva while wiping her face.
"I chose the right Familia" Darkness grins at me, for the love of gods, don't be into this.
I sign, aiming the Water Gauntlet at the group of monsters.
Hydrobomb
Sending orbs of water at the group, the impact exploded too, sending them all back into the wall and exploding into dust.
This is going to be a long dungeon drive.
LINE
Bell charges forward, slashing through each of the monsters, the Hestia Knife not stopping with each monster he cuts, cutting a goblin's arm while avoiding a claw of a dungeon lizard, ducking under the lizards bite Bell stab the lizard in the head, blood coming out as it explodes in duct, turning back to the goblin crying in pain with the arm cut off and finishing it off, takes off to another Lizard.
The lizard tries to bite him but Darkness blocks the attack, biting her shoulder arm while she holds it close to her.
"Here Bell" Darkness said, turning the lizard monster to him, Bell nodded as he jumped on the lizard's back, stabbing the monster at the top of his head, exploding in dust.
"Thanks Darkness" Bell said, Darkness gives a smile, using her sword to block another lizard, Bell quickly takes it down, and blocks another one on this tale.
Toxic Spray
Toxic slime hits the back of the lizards, all roaring in pain at the corrosion burning their backs, making it quick for Bell to finish.
"Don't let them separate," Magnus said, using his Toxic Gauntlet and Fire Gauntlet, aiming at another group of monsters.
TOXIC CLOUD
Magnus tosses a toxic glob that expands into a toxic cloud on impact in the middle of the monsters, all monsters gasp in pain and agony being in the cloud.
"So muchhhhh" Darkness said, her face now red, Bell nodding.
"Yeah Magnus has a lot of spells" Bell nods in agreement, Magnus aiming his Fire Gauntlet at the cloud, Paracelsus looks over at them with Pebble on his shoulder, holding a potion to Magnus.
"Get back, the toxic is explosive" Paracelsus warns, making them stand back, Paracelsus open the potion to Magnus, him taking a deep breath of it, now holding out his gauntlet.
Fireball
EXPOOOODDDEE
The green gas exploded into green fire, burning all the monsters in the cloud, leaving nothing but the magic stones behind.
They turn to see a 4 frog shooter hopping their way.
"Another group" Paracelsus states, everyone getting ready to fight another group.
Bell's party is now on floor 6, so far they have been fighting a few monsters on each floor so far.
But once they walked into floor 6 the fighting really started as many monsters surrounded the party.
Bell was amazed with both Darkness and Paracelsus's skill to not only fight in the deeper levels, but both want to go deeper, impressed as it took Bell a week before he went to floor 2 much less floor six on the first day.
Darkness' strength and endurance was beyond anything, always standing in the way of the monster's attack, taking each hit, bite and scratch like it was nothing. She only smiles and asks for more until either of the party finishes the monster off.
Darkness holds off more than 3 monsters, blocking a few hits with her sword skills and stances. Bell never saw a swordsman stance but even Bell can tell Darkness to train to wield a sword.
However both Magnus and Paracelsus are not so impressed.
While Bell somewhat agrees with them when he stops to think about it.
Magnus kept scolding Darkness for standing in the way and not killing the monster themselves, which Bell noticed how little damage Darkness actually did against monsters, while she used her sword against them it was more different than anything.
True she can hurt monsters with the blade but it's nothing compared to Bell or Paracelsus, monsters just hurt themselves hitting Darkness so much, Paracelsus calling her a fool isn't helping.
Darkness' face blush and cries whenever she gets scolded by them, Bell is quick to defend her, but she stops him. Darkness agrees with them and is trying,
Bell was amazed to see Darkness be humble.
But it still does nothing to change Magnus' opinion of her, a strong woman that can't attack.
That's Darkness, Paracelsus the plague doctor is different.
Unlike Darkness, Paracelsus does straight for the kill, aiming for vital points on each of the monsters, Bell got to learn parts of the monster that he can cut to either kill or cripple. Paracelsus' tools prove useful as Magnus.
Having grenades of Magnus's toxic magic, grenades of flashing lights that blind monsters, vapours that increase someone's strength, Bell taking a breath of it, feel like he could take on the whole floor by himself.
The Plague doctor even has medicine, of course he does. He is a doctor after all, while the medicine doesn't heal as well as Magnus's, but the medicine felt so much better compared to Magnus, but the taste is off.
Paracelsus was very good with his knives, different ones to cut and stab monsters with, Bell got to learn how his Hestia knife was made for slashing instead of stabbing.
Both have proven themselves to fight down here in Bell's opinion, Bell hopes he can convince Magnus on Darkness, she a part of their Familia after all.
Darkness stands ahead, all four frog shooters all shoot their tongues at her, Darkness stabs her sword to the ground, reaching out to grab two of the tongues in her hand, the third one on her foot and one in her teeth.
Bell ran forward with his Hestia Knife, with Magnus's Typhon dagger and Paracelsus's two knives, all cut off the four tongues,
Bell and Magnus both stab their blades to the frog's eyes, Paracelsus stabs both knives in the other frog's eyes.
All explode into magic rocks.
Everyone takes a breath to relax.
"Another battle well done" Paracelsus states, Pebble giving a clap to everyone, Darkness and Bell smiling at him, Magnus turns to Darkness.
"You right? You caught a frog tongue with your mouth?" Magnus asked, Paracelsus went straight to her.
"It was nothing a crusader like myself couldn't handle, all my body, even my mouth are trained to stand against the worst of those monsters" Darkness stands in straight, Paracelsus opens her mouth, looking into her mouth.
"Never do that again, frog tongues carry too much Bacteria, you could be very sick" Paracelsus states to her, Pebble leans up to look into Darkness's mouth, looking into his bag, pulling out other medicine.
"Put this in your mouth, don't swallow! Leave it in your mouth for a few seconds then spit it out" Paracelsus orders Darkness take a sip of the medicine, keeping the liquid in her mouth before spitting it out.
"Oh right, everyone let's get the rocks" Magnus called out, everyone nodded as they all started to gather all the monster gems on the ground.
Magnus opened his bag, Bell put a hand full of magic stones in the bag, Paracelsus did the same, as does Darkness even Pebble puts a few in there as well.
"Very good" Magnus said, tiring the bag up, Paracelsus looked around.
"I believe I know where to gather the substance I need, follow me" Paracelsus said, everyone follows the plague doctor to the familiar place.
They all follow the plague doctor until he stops under a few green lights.
"Right here" Paracelsus states, sitting down and picking up a few tools, the Hestia familia gathers to see what he's doing, Pebble jumps down to look as well.
"What are you doing?" Bell asked, seeing the Plague doctor having digging tools, Paracelsus points under a light crystal, seeing a mushroom growing.
"This is Grifola frondosa, used to promote antitumor immunity related to antibody–Fc interactions by activating complement receptors," Paracelsus explains to them.
The explanation goes over the heads of Bell, Darkness and Pebble.
"It helps protect the body against the flu" Magnus signs, giving them an answer they can understand.
"Ohhhh" Both Bell and Darkness understand now,
"Not just the flu, but much the same" Paracelsus states, cutting up the mushrooms as Magnus looks around.
"A useful mushroom you've found plague doctor, many now can survive the worst of the plagues" Darkness spoke with admiration, Bell nodding as well.
"I never know Plague doctors do this" Bell said, he always thought Plague doctors are creepy people that hunt you down and cut your guts out.
"We do many things Mr Cranel, researching disease and finding the right cure, many doctors before me find the secrets of life in order to improve the quality of life for everyone" Paracelsus explains the purpose of the Plague doctors, Paracelsus looks to see Pebble picking the mushrooms, giving it to Paracelsus who nods in thanks.
"I think more monsters are starting to gather, wait a tick" Magnus states, pressing the rune on his belt, an image of a howling wolf appears behind him.
HOWWWLLLLL
Scaring Darkness as she steps back.
"What is that?!" Darkness looks in awe at the rune.
"That's the Wolf's blood rune, a magic item that makes Magnus see all the monsters" Bell explains, still amazed by the rune's power.
"Amazing, Magnus made it?" Darkness looks at Magnus in awe.
"Useful" was all Paracelsus said, listening as he focused on his work.
"I see a group gathering around the corner" Magnus states looking around, Magnus turns to the plague doctor.
"Think you can stop now?" Magnus asked, but Paracelsus shakes his head, turning to see the mushroom disappearing.
"The mushroom will be absorbed back to the dungeon, still need a few minutes to harvest before it disappears" Paracelsus states, Magnus frowns.
"What do we do?" Bell asked, seeing that Paracelsus is busy and the monster group is gathering.
Magnus thinks for a moment, but Darkness stands tall.
"I will protect the Plague doctor!" Darkness declared, standing with her sword out, with everyone looking at her.
"What?" Magnus asked, looking at the crusader.
"You and Bell will fight off the monster group, away from the plague doctor will I will stay and cover him" Darkness states, getting looks from the two adventurers and golem look at her,
Bell thinks it could work, he and Magnus deal with the monster group with Darkness protecting Paracelsus.
"Are you sure?" Magnus asked, unsure about this, Darkness nodded.
"I will not let anyone down, I swear on my life and duty as a crusader" Darkness declared, making Bell nod.
"I trust her Magnus" Bell states, getting a happy look from Darkness but not Magnus.
"If one gets though she can't face it alone, taking a Warshadow would cripple her" Magnus states, Darkness blushes a little.
"It won't…. stop me" Darkness slowly states, seeing her excited like this makes Bell happy, knowing she is ready for this, Magnus shakes his head, Pebble waves to them.
"What Pebble?" Magnus asked, Pebble pointed at himself, he turned looking at both Paracelsus and Darkness, then turned to them, lifting his arms up and trying to be scary, pointing to Darkness then to him, he claps then points to them.
Bell and Darkness couldn't understand him, finding him cute but Magnus nodded.
"So you look at both Paracelsus and Darkness if a monster shows up, Darkness will delay it while you make a signal to call me" Magnus figures out, making the two turn to him.
"You understand that?" Bell asked, seeing Magnus figure out what Pebble was saying.
"Yes, although I still have doubts" Magnus said, unsure about this, Darkness and Bell stand together.
"We can do this, Magnus," Bell said.
"I won't let you down" Darkness states, Pebble nodding, as Magnus signs.
"How long is Paracelsus?" Magnus asked the Plague doctor.
"Five to ten minutes" Paracelsus states, as Magnus signs, hearing the monsters getting closer.
"Ok, Bell you and I will get a lot of our attention to ourselves, Pebble will call me when Paracelsus is done or a monster attack, Darkness defends Paracelsus with your life" Magnus orders everyone, they all nod.
"Yes sir" Darkness stands,
"Good let good Bell" Magnus said, getting his gauntlets with Bell turning to the two.
"We'll be around the corner, don't worry" Bell states, both adventurers run around to face the monster group away from Darkness and Paracelsus.
Magnus and Bell head around the corner to see a large group of goblins, kobolds, frog shooters, and war shadow.
But that's not what got their attention.
"Is that a blue butterfly?" Bell asked, both he and Magnus see a butterfly monster that has four blue see through wings in the centre of the group of monsters, it is pretty to look at Bell though.
"Shit, that's Blue Papilio" Magnus said, recognising the monster.
"Is it dangerous?" Bell asked, not seeing his monster before, the Blue Papilio started to glow and powder started to fall from its wings.
"To us no, it actually can't fight, but the powder secreted from its wings has the ability to heal others, other monsters protect them with their lives" Magnus explains, Bell noticed the more wounded monster near the butterfly started to heal when the powder reached them.
"That's not good" Bell said, fighting groups of monsters tough enough, but one with a healer in the middle.
"Can't you use a spell on it?" Bell asked, seeing Magnus has magic to kill it straight away, but he shakes his head.
"Not with that healer bug in the middle, monsters will block any and all damage I do to it" Magnus states, looking closer as he pulls out his dagger.
"We need to take it down straight away," Magnus said, getting a worried look from Bell.
"Straight away, though all those monsters, we can't fight them all while they're healing," Bell said, seeing they need to kill the healing butterfly first, but it is in the middle of all those monsters.
"Don't worry I have a plan" Magnus said, pulling out another rune Bell didn't know.
"Another rune, what this do?" Bell asked eager to see the magic item.
"Something very stupid and dangerous, never do this Bell" Magnus warns him, getting a worried look from Bell.
"Magnus what do you mean?" Bell asked, Magnus smirking.
"Just stay here and let me kill that butterfly," Magnus said, looking at the group of monsters now noticing them.
"4" Magnus counts, tapping the rune, creating a magic aura around him and running into the monster group, to Bell's shock.
"MAGNUS!" Bell shouted, seeing Magnus running straight for them,
FLAME WALL
A huge wall of fire surrounds the back of the monster, scaring them and hurting a few, Magnus running straight for the butterfly.
"3" Magnus counts, running forward, the monsters notice the mage running to the butterfly, goblins scratch and claws at him, making him grunt while he's running through them.
But Magnus keeps going, slashing and cutting those in front of him, frog shooters whipping him with their tongues, hitting his leg, shoulder and face, getting a bruise or two in his face.
But he doesn't stop, getting closer to the butterfly.
"2" Magnus counts, jumping on top of a kobold trying to bite him, using the dog monster as a springboard to jump in the air.
Right for the blue Papilio, which the War shadows notice, they all strike Magnus in the air, they claws stabbing Magnus in the chest and body.
Magnus grunts but isn't stopping, pulling out his dagger and stabbing the Blue Papilio.
The butterfly falls to the ground, with Magnus on top, the monsters all roar and attack Magnus, ready to kill him for killing their only healer.
Bell could only watch in horror at the monsters hurting and killing Magnus, he killed the butterfly, but at a heavy cost, now Bell has to watch the monsters tear him apart.
"1" Magnus finished, with a bloody smile, the monster about to tear him apart, but a flash of light appeared around him, glowing purple Magnus moved back to where he was.
Right beside Bell.
Bell looks at Magnus in shock, seeing Magnus appear before with no injuries or anything.
"How?" Bell asked, even monsters looked confused about where Magnus went.
"What are you all standing for? Let fight already" Magnus shouted, running forward, shooting Toxic Spray on the monsters at front
The goblins all cry as acid melts their bodies, the other monster starts to attack, Bell pulls out his knife to join Magnus.
Fireball
Fireball
Magnus shoots many fireballs around the monsters, burning them and killing them.
Bell kept slashing at the goblins and kobolds, slashing one in the throat and stabbing the next in the head.
FLAMEWALL
Magnus creates another wall of fire in the middle of the monsters, burning most of them and killing a few of them.
"Bell that bomb Paracelsus gave you, throw it" Magnus calls out, holding his Toxic gauntlet, Bell nods, picking up one of Paracelsus' toxic bombs he gave to him.
"Into the fire" Magnus orders, Bell throws the toxic bombs into the flaming wall.
TOXIC CLOUD
A toxic glob expands into a toxic cloud, hurting and corrosion the remaining monsters, Bell toxic bomb goes through the cloud and into the wall of fire.
KABBBBBOOOOMMM
A huge blast of Dragonfire, destroying all the monsters, all crying in pain as green flames burning them into dust.
Only two Warshadow survived, with Magnus and Bell finishing them off.
Magnus and Bell sign in exhaustions as they look at all the monster stones around them.
"Good fight, if I do say so myself" Magnus said, but Bell looks at him.
"Magnus, WHAT WAS THAT?!" Bell shouted, getting surprised by Magnus.
"What was what?" Magnus raises an eyebrow at him, Bell starts to freak out.
"What? You! Running into all those monsters, nearly killing yourself then appearing in front of me without any injury?!" Bell asked, freaking out after all of this, Magnus realised something, pulling out a rune.
"Ohhhh right sorry Bell, that's the chronomaster rune" Magnus explains, showing the rune to Bell.
"Chronomaster?" Bell asked, looking at the rune, with the image of an hourglass on it.
"This rune can control time" Magnus whispers out, making Bell gasp in shock.
"TIMEEEEE" Bell shouted but Magnus covered his mouth.
"Shut up, don't go shouting that fact out" Magnus said, keeping Bell quite,
"But Magnus, this can" "Shhhhh" Magnus stops Bell before he can freak out.
"Before you say anything let me explain, this rune rewind me back in time to my last location after 4 seconds, that only works on living people, I able to channel the rune to objects, restoring them to a previous state" Magnus explains the rune quietly, making Bell think for a second.
"Wait, the old church?" Bell asked him with Magnus nodding.
"Yes, but we keep this between us" Magnus states, making Bell confused.
"But why?" Bell asked, not understanding why he has to keep quiet about this.
"Because many people will kill to have this, even hurt our goddess," Magnus explains, making Bell gasp.
"No way," Bell said, looking at the Chronemaster rune, giving it back to Magnus.
"You need to tell the goddess" Bell states, this is something too big for him, making Magnus sign.
"Ok, I'll tell her with you however you must swear on your no on our goddess life you will not tell a soul, understand" Magnus asked, getting Bell to swear not to tell anything.
"I won't tell anyone Magnus, in the word of our goddess" Bell swore, swearing not to tell anyone.
CLAPPPPP
Both Magnus and Bell heard a loud clap; coming from the corner they left the rest of the party.
"DARKNESS" Both Magnus and Bell shouted, running towards the party.
LINE
Early with Darkness, Paracelsus and Pebble
Darkness stands guard defending the Plague Doctor and little golem, happy to protect someone in the service of the medical field, happy to be doing her duty while being an adventurer in the dungeon.
"You are a very foolish crusader" Paracelsus said, not turning away from his work, Pebble helping by putting the mushrooms in the bag.
"Foolish? What do you mean?" Darkness asked, unsure what he meant.
"You haven't attacked once" Paracelsus states to her, seeing that Darkness has always defended from monsters, never attacking one.
"I believe in defending those in danger first" Darkness states with conviction, a stubborn one Darkness is. Pebble gives Darkness a clap, making her smile but Paracelsus shakes his head.
"Noble but stupid, you can't survive all the attacks, soon you will be killed" Paracelsus states but Darkness isn't stopping.
"Why don't you attack?" Paracelsus curious about her reason, not believing her to be all noble, Darkness was about to say but isn't sure, Pebble looks up to her, giving her his little eyes of compassion.
"I'm very clumsy when I attack" Darkness admits to the golem and plague doctor.
"I find that hard to believe, you have the correct sword form, you had training" Paracelsus said, seeing the stance of Darkness, Paracelsus saw enough swordsmanship to know who was professional.
"I have the training, but for some reason I can't attack anyone, it is a weird problem I admit" Darkness said sadly to herself, Pebble gave her leg a hug, Darkness smiled at him, Paracelsus finds this interesting.
A Crusader that can't attack.
"You can't fight, yet you choose to be an adventurer, why?" Paracelsus asked her, Darkness looks embarrassed.
"Promise you won't tell anyone? Not Magnus or Bell?" Darkness asked, looking desperate.
"Doctor patient code, your secret will never leave my lips" Paracelsus promised, willing to keep the crusader secret.
"I like pain, the feeling makes me feel so good, I know I should be ashamed of it but I'm not, and I'm aware others may not like it, my mother was a great adventurer once, defending the weak, she once told me I should use my gifts to help people, and if I can take the pain so others don't have to, then that's enough for me" Darkness speaks her heart out, wishing to used her affinity for pain to become an adventurer, a crusader defending the weak.
"I see, very honorable indeed" Paracelsus said, seeing Darkness in a different light, picking up the last mushrooms in the bag.
"Have you tried Riposte?" Paracelsus asked, putting Pebble on his shoulder.
"Riposte?" Darkness asked,
"Riposte is a very rare defensive effect that causes the people to respond to attacks with a counterattack. When you're targeted by an attack, you will retaliate by attacking back to the original aggressor, I've seen you attack once you've been hit" Paracelsus explains, seeing Darkness does attack when she gets hit, but she can attack after getting hit, she needs to capitalise on it.
"Attack when attacked" Darkness said to herself, with Paracelsus nodding.
"You make great synergy with Bell and Magnus, taking hits with Bell and Magnus attacking after you finish it off" Paracelsus explains, seeing it will make Magnus want to keep Darkness in the party by showing she can attack, this made Darkness nod.
"Synergy, yes, you're right, thank you doctor, your skills not only heals the body but of the mind as well" Darkness bows to the plague doctor, thankful for the advice.
"I live to serve" Paracelsus bows back, Pebble claps at the bowing, but stops, looking around.
HISSSSSSSS
The three hear hissing, making them alert of a nearby threat.
"What was that?" Darkness asked, drawing her sword, ready to defend the plague doctor.
"A snake monster of some kind" Paracelsus figures, getting the blinding grenades ready, Pebble looks around, knowing a monster is nearby.
"Are they known to roam here?" Darkness asked, looking around for this serpent.
"No, there are no serpents on any of these floors" Paracelsus states, seeing that this monster doesn't spawn on these floors.
HISSSSS
Darkness hears the snake monster behind the Plague doctor, reacting on instinct.
"LOOK OUT" Darkness pushes Paracelsus away, the snake wraps around Darkness as Paracelsus quickly gets up.
Paracelsus looks to see a large brown cobra serpent wrap his long tail around Darkness' body, the Cobra turns to Paracelsus hissing at him.
"Call the others" Paracelsus orders, seeing Pebble clapping his hands, Darkness grunts at the snake tight coils around her.
Pebble makes a loud clap as both Magnus and Bell run around the corner.
"DARKNESS" Both Magnus and Bell shouted, seeing Darkness strangled by the giant cobra.
Paracelsus throws one of his flashbangs at the cobra's head, making a disorienting blast.
HISSSSSSSAAAA
The Cobra screeches, letting go of Darkness as she lands on her knees.
Paracelsus runs to her, grabbing her shoulder and pulling her away from the monster.
Ice Lance
Magnus shoots an ice shard at the cobra, hitting the snake on his side, getting a hiss in pain, Bell ran to the snake to slash the snake's side, running away from the tail as the cobra whipped and moved around.
The Cobra opens its eyes, hissing at the two.
"Here we go" Magnus said, aiming his magic gantlet at the snake,
Hydro Bomb
Magnus sends water bombs at the cobra, bouncing around but the serpent slithers around the water bombs, avoiding the splash.
Bell tapes the Dash Rune, a boost to his speed running straight for the snake's head, the snake's eyes notice Bell speed, moving its tail forward to strike Bell's legs.
"Ahhhh" Bell trips up as he lands on the ground, the Cobra lunges at Bell with wide fangs.
But Magnus teleports in front of Bell.
TIDAL BARRIER
Magnus summons a water barrier in front of him and Bell, the snake backs off from the barrier.
"You right Bell?" Magnus asked, Paracelsus went behind Bell, helping him up.
"I'm fine Magnus" Bell said, thanking Paracelsus, the cobra hisses, Darkness stands forward, pointing her sword at the serpent.
"COME AT ME SERPENT!" Darkness shouted, taunting the snake, the cobra hissing,
Ice Lance
Magnus shoots ice shards at the serpent, Paracelsus throws toxic grenades, but the cobra avoids and dodges all the ice and toxic elements.
"He is too slippery," Bell said, seeing the monster avoiding all attacks, even Pebble tried to help by throwing rocks at it, but he still missed too.
The Cobra lunges to bite at Darkness, Darkness blocks the bite with her sword, the cobra tries to pull the sword off her but Darkness holds on.
"HIT IT NOW!" Darkness shouted, seeing the snake was focused on her.
Hydro Bombs
Magnus shoots water bombs at the cobra, Paracelsus throws toxic grenades at the serpent and Bell charges forward with his knife and rune glowing.
The cobra hisses in pain at the water bombs and toxic hitting him and getting cut on his side from the knife. Darkness grunts while the Cobra throws Darkness to the side into a wall,
Hissing at Magnus and Bell.
"Try and cut this bastard" Magnus brings out his dagger as well, Bell and Paracelsus draw steel as well, with Darkness off the wall and Pebble holding another rock.
HIAASSSSSS
The Cobra hissed smashing his head on the wall, rocks falling all over the ground.
"What's he doing?" Bell asked, seeing the monster hurting itself, Magnus saw the rocks on the ground.
"Darkness with me" Magnus calls out, Darkness rushed forward, Magnus creates another spell, the cobra whips its tail around the ground, sending the fallen rocks there way.
TIDAL BARRIER
A water barrier appeared, taking a few rocks down or stops in the water, but some got through.
But Darkness stands right there, cutting down the rocks heading for the party and taking most of the hits.
"Darkness!" Bell calls out, seeing Darkness getting hurt, but Paracelsus stops him.
"Leave her, she is doing her duty" Paracelsus states, seeing Darkness is going what she was meant to, Pebble holds his hand in fear.
The Cobra hissed, striking forward with wide fangs, going through the water barrier, its fangs biting down into Darkness's arm.
"AHhhhh" Darkness shouts in pain, the party looks on in shock.
"DARKNESS" Magnus and Bell shouted, Darkness grins through her teeth, swinging her sword and cutting the cobra's eye.
HIAAAAAA
The Cobra let go in pain, his eye now cut up and swung his head around.
"Darkness" Magnus calls out, catching Darkness; Paracelsus rushes forward with Anti-venom and a needle.
"I got this" Paracelsus said, putting Darkness down as Magnus and Bell stands forward mad at the monster
"It's nothing Magnus" Darkness said, seeing the purple venom in her damaged armour arm, Paracelsus took a needle to take out the venom and cure the blight on her, Pebble helps out Paracelsus.
The Cobra hissing in anger, glaring at Magnus and Bell, they notice green blood coming out of its fangs, Magnus eyes widen.
"Cover your eyes, it venom can make you blind" Magnus warns, the Cobra spitting venom from his mouth, spray in around as Bell and Magnus cover their eyes and move away from the venom melting the rocks.
"AHhh" Bell winces, some of the gases went to his eyes.
"Are you ok?" Paracelsus asked, seeing any injury to Darkness from the venom, Darkness shakes her head as she stands up from the bite.
"This poison was exhilarating, but it won't keep me down" Darkness blushed, feeling the pain of the venom going through her arm was beyond what she had imagined.
"Of course, at least you won't go into shock" Paracelsus shakes his head, seeing Darkness will not let this stop her, quite the opposite actually.
Darkness looks forward, her eyes widen seeing Bell rubbing his eyes while the Cobra is about to bite Bell.
"BELLL!" Darkness shouted, leaping forward with her sword, blocking cobra bite with her blade, the cobra tries to bite forward but Darkness holds her ground.
Pebble jumps to Bell, pulling him back to Paracelsus.
"Hold still" Paracelsus states, pulling out a potion to heal Bell's eyes.
"Ow ow" Bell winces at his burning eyes, Paracelsus healing him.
Ice lance
Magnus shoots another ice shard, trying to hit the snake, but the cobra notices the ice, moving its serpent like body to avoid the ice attack and wrap Darkness around in its coils.
"Again with this" Magnus complains, seeing Darkness wrapped up again, the snake hissed back, Darkness blushes again from the coils around her body, seeing Bell hurt and Magnus missing his attacks.
Darkness knows what she has to do.
SWWWSSHSHSHSSH
HISSSSSAAAA
The cobra cries in pain as Darkness stabs the sword though its body, one arm hugging the snake close to herself.
"HIT IT! HIT IT NOW!" Darkness shouted, holding the cobra close and keeping it pinned to the ground.
"The HELL?!" Magnus asked, seeing Darkness stabbing the serpent and keeping it from moving around.
"JUST DO IT!" Darkness shouted, holding the cobra with her legs and biting it with her teeth , struggling to hold it.
"Don't Magnus!" Bell shouted, seeing what Magnus was about to do, his eyes now healed.
"Water and ice, NOWW" Paracelsus shouted, seeing what Darkness was doing and encouraging Magnus to do it.
"FUCK ME, HydroBomb" Magnus shouted, shooting a few water bombs at the cobra and Darkness, splashing and injuring the snake, and healing and wetting Darkness.
"THAT IT, MORE MORE" Darkness shouted, her face blushing red from the snake and the water.
"Incredible" Bell spoke in awe at Darkness willing to take the attack and ask for more, trying to kill the monster.
"You have no idea" Paracelsus states, seeing both sides to Darkness in this.
FLASH FREEZE
A chill of cold chill appeared around Magnus, freezing the cobra with the water wetting it and its cold blood working against it. Darkness healed from the damage but it still wet felt the chill from the ice Sorcery.
"This chill, this cold, oh my goodness' ' Darkness moans out loud, feeling the cold affect her like never before.
"Bell, Paracelsus, let's finish this off" Magnus shouted, running forward with Bell and Paracelsus, all with their knives and dagger out, Magnus cutting the parts holding Darkness, with Bell helping out, all cutting pieces out of the serpent.
Paracelsus cuts the head of the cobra, stabbing the frozen serpent in the head, going Incision around the head and eyes.
The frozen serpent gets cut down, and explodes into a red magic stone, which Magnus caught.
"Lucky we kill this quickly" Magnus said, Darkness falls to the ground, no longer holding the serpent as everyone gathers around her.
"Darkness" Bell calls out, feeling how cold Darkness is with Paracelsus getting to work.
"Magnus, fire magic now, she going through hypothermia, warm her up" Paracelsus orders, Magnus nodding as he has his Fire gauntlets on both hands, lighting a fire and warming her up, Pebble jumps in too, hugging Darkness chest to help.
"Darkness you ok?" Magnus asked, seeing how cold she is from his magic, Paracelsus getting his battlefield medicine on her.
"Thatttt wasss wondddererrfullllly Magnussssss" Darkness shivers, but grins the whole time.
"Why would you do that Darkness? You nearly died" Bell asked, worried how close she was to the monster, asking for Magnus to hit it with her there.
"ITtt wassss theeee onllyy wayyyyy, noooo oneeeee will gettt hurttt but mmeeeee" Darkness states, holding her fist close, showing her passion even when she chilled.
"Darkness" Bell spoke to her, Magnus shook his head.
"What you did was beyond reckless, asking me to shoot you, you're insane, you're lucky my water healed you first, how can you be so hard headed!" Magnus scowled her, not liking her reckless actions
"Magnus!" Bell complains; see Magnus scowling at a time like this, but Darkness smiles at him.
"JUSStttt likkke I expecttted Magnus" Darkness smiles, slowly feeling better as she stands up, still feeling a little cold but now able to move now.
"Don't move too much, you're still cold, wrap yourself up and keep yourself warm" Paracelsus orders, giving her the doctor's advice, making her nod as she hugs Pebble.
"I think that's enough for today" Magnus states, seeing Darkness nearly frozen, need to get her out of here.
"Yes, I've already gathered what I need" Paracelsus states, seeing her bag now full of the mushroom he needs.
"Good let's gather the magic rocks and everything" Magnus states, making everyone nod as they all start to pick all of them up.
Bell sees the cobra fangs on the ground.
"A drop item" Bell picks up the fangs, Paracelsus looks at the fang.
"I understand our contract, Bell, but I'm willing to negotiate a price for that fang" Paracelsus asked, their contract was to escort to gain excelia and gather material; they pick the magic stone and any drop items.
"What, oh no, here you can have it" Bell gives Paracelsus the fang, to his surprise.
"Are you sure?" Paracelsus asked, giving such a drop item to the plague doctor.
"You need it more than we do" Bell states, seeing the plague doctors need it more to make everyone feel better, Paracelsus nods
"Thank you" Paracelsus said, putting the fang in his bag, as Magnus came around the corner with another bag full of monster stones and a blue butterfly wing.
"I gathered the last group's rocks and this butterfly wing," Magnus said, showing them the wing.
"That's a Blue Papilio Wing, you fought a blue papilio" Paracelsus said, seeing they fought the rare healing monster.
"Yeah" Magnus nods, Darkness holding a bag of monster rocks, Bell tries to help but Darkness waved him off, willing to carry it.
"Next time, aim to capture it, the potions I can make from it" Paracelsus said, willing to pay much for the healing butterfly.
"Then have this wing until we capture it alive," Magnus said, giving the wing to Paracelsus, but shaking his head.
"I pay for this one at least" Paracelsus said, willing to pay for this drop item, knowing the value of it compared to the cobra fang.
"Will talk about this after we head back up" Magnus states, they all begin their way up the dungeon floor.
Paracelsus sees this adventure has been more than successful.
LINE
"That's 40,000 valis" The teller at the guild said in front of me, I smiled at that, after the whole thing with that cobra we headed straight up out of the dungeon.
Paracelsus walks us out of the dungeon but leaves as soon as we get to the guild, giving us the 15000 valis he promised us for the escort and back.
Giving us a total of 55,000 valis.
I was waiting in line while Bell, Darkness and Pebble waited in the front, taking the bag of valis I headed to where they are.
"Are you sure you're ok? Darkness" Bell asked concern for our new member, but Darkness waved him off.
"Your concern isn't needed Bell, I have recovered from the fight" Darkness states, Pebble giving her a hug in concern with Darkness giving him a pat.
"That good Darkness" I said, seeing the party gather all turning to me.
"Now let's talk about you" I pointed at Darkness, she stood tall.
"I'm ready to accept your review of my performances" Darkness said, ready for my honest opinion.
Hope you are.
"Ok, first I'm going to say you're strong, very strong, and your durability is more insane that I first thought, your willingness to defend and take attacks is good" I said, getting the positive in first.
"You follow orders without complaints, willing to be a support is a bonus, and your…other skills will be useful in certain issues" I said in the last part, looking at Bell and Pebble, both smiling at the compliments, with Darkness blushing at her issues.
"Thank you" Darkness nods, here's the hard part.
"But" I said, cutting done to the fact now.
"You can't attack for shit, I mean really you can't kill a monster or anything, that's really annoying, I know you're a defender but you can't defend against everything, you're lucky me and Paracelsus were there for the poison, just cause you can take the pain doesn't mean your live long enough to face it" I criticised her, Darkness got poisoned a few times in the dungeon, luckily we had a Plague Doctor and anti-venom nearby.
Bell and Pebble stand in shock, but Darkness blushes.
"Your words stings more than any poison Magnus" Darkness moans, come on not here.
"Darkness no, Magnus come on, you know she can do it" Bell defends her, Pebble nodding too, seriously.
"No Bell, he right, Magnus your right about my attack power, I was raised to be a defender, as a crusader, I can't change that but I'm will to adapt like the Plague doctor said, I've learning to Riposte, it's not much, but I'm willing to grow stronger and help the famaila" Darkness states, getting my attention.
"Riposte?" Bell asked, not knowing what it was.
"Riposte, attack back after taking a hit, which could work actually" I explained to him, that could work if Darkness is willing to learn, if we get Darkness to riposte not only can she defend us but kill a few monsters.
"That very good Darkness, but we're going to need new weapons and armour if you're going to keep dungeon diving with us" I said, seeing how much that armour is worth and what sword we need to buy.
Darkness armour is dented and scratched up, her sword not looking too good either.
But nothing a little time can do.
"You mean?" Darkness said, grinning with Bell and Pebble,
Oh right, it's not like I was going to cut her off, Hestia would kill me.
"I will work on you, it's going to be hard but yes, you can go to the dungeon with us" I said to her, Darkness blushes and grins as she hugs me.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you" Darkness hugs me tight, wow she is really strong, Bell and Pebble join in.
"New member yes" Bell cheers, Pebble cheers too.

"Bell? Pebble? Magnus?" Eina shows up, turning to see us hugging together.
"Hey Eina, we got a new member, Eina met Darkness, Darkness Miss Eina is our dungeon adviser" Bell introduced Darkness to our dungeon adviser.
"New member?! A female knight?" Eina asked, Darkness bows her head.
"It's an honor to meet you, I'm Darkness of the Hestia Familia" Darkness introduces herself, making Eina smile.
"A new member, that great, oh that means you need new paper work" Eina said, seeing we have a new member.
"Oh, do I need to sign something?" Darkness asked, Eina nodded to her.
"Right, I can sign you up right now" Eina said, Darkness looking at Bell, Pebble and Magnus.
"Don't worry Darkness, Eina will take care of you" Bell said, Pebble nodding.
"Right, just sign your name then will head home" I said to her, seeing she was a little nervous but nodded as she started to follow Eina to the other room, Bell turned to me with a smile.
"What?" I asked what he was smiling at me for.
"We have a new member to the familia, thanks for supporting her, Magnus" Bell said, seeing Darkness talking to Eina as she signed a few sheets of paper.
"We still have a long way to go" I said, knowing starting with a rookie will take time, Pebble jumps on my shoulder and grins at Darkness.
Ok I'll admit, Darkness resilience and her...issues are growing on me, she will fit right in.
