New Rules

It was another bright day at UA. Midnight could be seen in her hero outfit walking towards the dorms where Henry was at. Since the Robot Inferno the young soldier was starting to learn more about the world and Japan with the help of Momo Yaoyorozu.

However, these last few weeks have not been easy for him. Frequent nightmares had plagued his mind. In addition, the view he had on stopping villains.

Unlike most heroes, Henry was more of a shoot first ask questions later. Throughout the Great War brutality was a norm. Through countless fronts throughout the world, he has faced many enemies and lost so many friends. God only knows what that could do to a young man's mind.

Midnight had arrived at Henry's door and knocked at it.

"Henry? You awake?" she said.

She noticed that the door was unlocked and opened slightly to reveal the room was in good condition. However, Henry was not on the bed. She became nervous and looked to the bathroom to see no one there. She was about to walk out when she rustling under the bed.

Midnight dropped to her knees to look under and saw Henry. He wore his pajamas but what caught her eye was the bayonet he had in his hand. His eyes were tired and hid body was curled up. Midnight looked next to him to see a history book of WW1 on a specific battle.

Passchendaele

A bloody battle that would kill young men on both sides. A battle that Henry participated in.

Midnight slowly moved her hand towards the Brit to try and wake him up.

"Time to get up," she said. When her hand touched Henry's arm. His eyes opened with a crazed look making him to jump from out of the bayonet in hand.

This scared Midnight and backed away from him. Seconds pass till Henry realized what he was doing.

"I'm so sorry Midnight! I didn't mean to scare you!" Henry panicked as he put his bayonet away.

"No no its ok Henry…it looked like you had a bad dream. Just…please don't do that ever again," Midnight told him heling him calm him down. He sat on his bed calming himself down which made Midnight sit beside him and comfort him.

"Were you having another one of your nightmares again?" she asked.

"Yes…it was worst this time," Henry responded.

"If you don't me asking. What was it about this time?" she asked.

Henry looked at Midnight hesitantly. He didn't want to tell her because he didn't want to make her worry about him. But he knew that by keeping it to himself he would do more harm to himself.

"It was about one of my night patrols. Captain Buford my commanding officers had ordered me and my two friends to go out and patch some wire. When we were crossing, we saw…" Henry did his best to calm down till he spoke again.

"Bodies…just so many bodies filled the water filled shell holes. No Mans Land was a place I wish I could forget but I can't. When we finished patching some wire…we ran into a small German patrol and we did what we had to do."

"You thought you were back at that moment, didn't you?" Midnight asked.

Henry nodded in response. He was surprised when Midnight gave him a hug which made Henry gave into the loving hug.

"You don't have to worry about that anymore. Here UA will treat you with the upmost care. We'll protect you," Midnight said with a reassuring tone. Henry smiled feeling a whole lot better than before.

"Thank you, Midnight. Now, I best get ready for today. I'm so excited!" Henry said as he ran to his drawers and began gathering clothes to put on. Midnight was happy for Henry because today he was going to hang out with Momo.

Henry also wanted to invite his first friend Jiro who has been talking to him every now and then. He considered Jiro to be a close friend who helped him during his ruff times.

Midnight smiled as Henry got out of the bathroom all dressed up for a good day of hanging out. She noticed that his hair was a bit undone so the pro hero decided to fix it.

"Here, let me help."

Midnight started to Colm his hair with a brush and style it up for the boy. He grabbed his pocket watch for reading the time even though his phone could do the same thing.

"Do I look good Midnight?" Henry asked.

"Yes, you do kiddo. Now run along. Young Yaoyorozu is waiting for you outside. Have fun!" Midnight said as he ran out. She began to clean his room up like a mother which didn't seem to bother her.

'He still acts like a little kid,' Midnight thought to her self and couldn't help but laugh. As she was putting things away, she looked at Henry's bayonet and couldn't help but frown on it.

Despite living in a nice comfy place, he could call home. Henry in a way never left from the war. The scars were too severe not on his physical state, but on his mental state.

She sheathed the blade and placed it on the side of Henry's bed. She hoped that one day Henry would not have such nightmares and live life like a normal kid.

It was easier said than done.

Kyouka woke up to another boring day. Luckily, she was off from school so she decided to play her guitar. These last few weeks would be boring but thanks to her new friend it wasn't so bad.

Henry Clarke the Great War hero. Its still was hard to believe that he would be Kyouka's first real friend. It was nice to have someone who she enjoyed talking to. One thing that she loved talking about with him was music.

When it came to music Kyouka couldn't help but talk for hours on the history of music and the instruments she could play. Before she could never geek out like this because at school, she never could fit in. She was considered antisocial for her punk like style.

Now with Henry he enjoyed listening to her talk. Music was something he had to help him through the war. The calm notes from sweet slow songs made him sleep as if he was a baby. With Kyouka he felt happy and help forget the terrors of war.

She would continue playing but all of a sudden, her phone started to ring. She looked down to see it was a call from Henry himself. Her eyes widened feeling excited and immediately stopped.

Kyouka picked up the phone and answered, "Hey Henry what's up?"

"Kyouka! Its good to hear your voice again!"

"You do realize that we talked yesterday, right?" she responded but still smiled that Henry missed her.

"I-I know! But I forgot to ask you something very important!"

"What is it?" She asked interested.

"I was going to ask if you wanted to hang out with me at the mall."

"O-Oh," Kyouka felt her smile get bigger. This would be her first time hanging out with him which made her excited.

"So…you and me hangout? Just the two of us?"

"Oh no, my other friend Momo will be with us.

Kyouka's face changed drastically and was a bit put off that it wasn't just going to be just the two of them. Though it still was nice that Henry asked her to hang out.

"So, Kyouka? You down?"

With out thinking she immediately replied, "Yeah, I'm down."

"Splendid! Now we will be there in about 10 minutes."

"What!"

"I know! I'm so excited to hang out. See you in 10!"

Henry hanged up making Kyouka Jiro go into speed mode. She placed her guitar on her bed and got off but she quickly fell to the ground making a thud. This caused her parents to look at each other unsure what their daughter was doing.

Kyouka noticed that her room was a bit messy and dig around for clothes to wear. Most of them were dirty making her digging through her mess of clothes. She found a good pair of clothes to wear and began putting them on.

The door began to knock, "Kyouka? What's going on in there? Are you alright?"

"Yeah mom! I'm fine just getting dressed!" her mother opened the door to see that she was indeed getting ready.

"So? What's the occasion?" Mrs. Jiro asked as she put some clothes in a hamper.

As she was putting on some perfume she began thinking of an answer. She could lie but knowing how her mother was she would find out eventually. So, Kyoka decided to tell her the truth.

"I'm gonna being hanging out with a friend," she said.

"A friend? That sounds wonderful! Is it Henry!?" her mother asked with stars in her eyes.

"Yeah…wait? How do you know!?"

"Well hon, it's not that hard to know when he's the only person you're talking to all the time," her mother said with a warm smile. Kyouka could only look away feeling her face heat up a little knowing that her mother was right.

"Are you ok with me going out then?"

"Oh yes, I don't mind. Its…just your father you need to ask," Mrs. Jiro said. Kyouka only groaned knowing how her father could get with boys wanting to go out with her.

"Your right…lets just hope he doesn't say no," Kyouka sleepily said. Her mother gave her a loving kiss on her daughter's forehead making the young girl giggle.

"Don't worry young lady. I'll get your father to say yes to your little date," her mother said as she left with a smirk. Kyouka threw a pillow at the closed door that her mother walked through.

Mrs. Jiro walked into the kitchen to see her husband Mr. Jiro drinking coffee and looking through his phone, "So, what was the whole ruckus about?"

"Oh, you know. Jiro is going to hang out with some friends."

"That's good," Mr. Jiro said.

"Specifically with her friend Henry," Mrs. Jiro said with a smirk.

"Sounds won- wait what?"

Mr. Jiro dropped his coffee after hearing the name of the boy. He soon saw Kyouka walking out all dressed up for a potential date which is what her dad thought.

Kyouka noticed her father staring at her with wide eyes. She knew that he found out and tried to play it cool, "Hey…dad."

Mr. Jiro went into dad mode and crossed his arms to show his authority. She began to creep towards the front door while her mother did her best to hide her smile.

"So, I'm just gonna go hangout with some friends. I'll see you guys later," Kyouka was about to walk out but her father stopped her.

"Kyouka Jiro, come over here. Now."

"Now honey be gentle," Mrs. Jiro said as she held his arm but no reaction was seen from the man.

Kyouka walked towards father with her hands in her pockets trying to not look at him. Her father got close to her and looked at her with stern eyes.

"Now young lady, what is this I hear about you hanging out with Henry Clarke? The Great War Hero?" her asked.

"Well…Henry asked if he wanted me to hangout with him and some of his friends. No biggie… *Nervous laugh*"

Kyouka's father's expression did not change feeling that he would say no. Her mother still gave her a warm smile to make her feel better fearing that he will say no.

That is when her father began to smile before breaking his façade with a light hearted laugh. This surprised Kyouka and even her mother. He uncrossed his arms and smiled at his daughter.

"I'm just joking with your kiddo. Reading about Henry and knowing that he protected you makes me believe that he's a good kid," Mr. Jiro said.

"So…I can go hangout with…him?" Kyouka asked.

"It's fine with me. He's a good kid and honestly a brave man worthy of being called the first hero," Mr. Jiro said as he smiled seeing her daughters face brighten up. That is when he decided to joke with her.

"Just make sure he doesn't do any funny business with you," he said causing the young Jiro to cover face feeling embarrassed. Mrs. Jiro slapped her husband's arm knowing full well what he meant.

"That is so inappropriate dad! Why would you say that!?" Kyouka shouted as she tried to calm down.

"Henry is a soldier kiddo during a time where young boys like him were far away from girls like you. They probably had a lot pent up stress inside them," Mr. Jiro said causing Kyouka to be grossed out by her father.

"He was just kidding Kyouka…I think," Mrs. Jiro said as her and her husband laughed.

'Just kill me already.'

Kyouka thought to herself. She was soon interrupted from her thoughts when she felt her buzz indicating that there was a message. She opened it to see it was from Henry saying.

Outside.

She laughed internally noticing the period at the end. Most teens would leave it alone but Henry always said that adding a period was the way he did it.

"Ok! He's here mom and dad! I'll see you guys later," she said as she walked to the door.

"Stay safe Kyouka!" Mrs. Jiro said.

"Take care and no funny business!" Mr. Jiro said hearing her daughter groan.

"DAD!"

Kyouka yelled as she slammed the door. Both parents laughed before going back to their duty as parents. Kyouka rubbed her head feeling annoyed by her father's assumption that Her and Henry would do anything indecent.

"We are just friends. Close friends," she said as she walked down pondering at what she said.

'Best friends?'

Kyouka thought to herself as she soon arrived to see Henry standing in front of limo with a long-haired girl by her side. He soon noticed her and began to beam like a ray of sunshine.

"Kyouka!" He ran towards her.

"Hey He- whoa!"

Henry gave Kyouka a big old bear hug. She was blushing at the contact till she returned one back making the hug more heartwarming. Momo who was watching them felt a tad bit jealous but still smiled.

The young brit moved away noticed how Kyouka's face was red, "Kyoka? Are you ok? Your very red?"

Kyouka quickly began to think of a response, "Oh! I'm actually…excited for the great hangout we're going to do!" she said. Henry smiled agreeing with her statement. That is when he decided to introduce Kyouka to Momo.

"Oh Kyouka! I want you to meet my friend Momo Yaoyorozu! She been helping me with my readings and school assignments," Henry said.

Momo and Kyouka looked at each other observing each other's clothes. They were sizing each other up but stopped not wanting to make a scene.

Kyouka decided to go first, "Hi, I'm Kyouka Jiro. Henry's friend…you?"

"I'm Momo Yaoyorozu of the Yaoyorozu family. I'm also Henry's friend," Momo responded.

They gave each other a firm handshake trying to one up the other. Henry was happy that he was going to be hanging out with two friends, "Now that you're both acquainted. Let's go have a wonderous day of adventure!"

Henry stated as he crawled back into the limo. Kyoka and Momo couldn't help but smile at Henry's happy demeanor. The two looked at each other before laughing. both of them joined him in the limo and drove away towards the mall.

Yagi Toshinori ever since the last battle with All for One he had been suffering. Despite his strength and the power of One for All in his hands he wasn't able to stop the man that killed his mentor.

His powers were now declining and his search for the next person to pass his power continued

However, he may a found such person.

Henry Clarke was that person.

Not only was he the first person to be considered a hero but he is the type of person who would do everything in his power to protect everyone. He was put through hell during a time of war and suffering making him the best person who can fight against All for One.

"Toshinori?"

Yagi turned to his mentor Gran Torino. The two were on the roof of U.A. high discussing about Henry being the next wielder.

"Now let me ask you again. Are you sure you want him to be the next wielder of One for All?"

"Yes, I believe that this boy is the right choice. He's combat trained and has a good sense of heroism. The young man may need some help when it comes to his fighting style but he's ready."

Gran Torino could see that his student was serious. After that harrowing fight, he knew that his student could not be the number 1 hero for long. A disciple who can uphold the values of being a hero.

The older hero was unsure about Henry being the next user but knew that All for One was still out there and they needed someone who could stand against that evil.

"Toshinori, I will not decide whether or not this kid will be the next wielder of One for All. However, I will say that you talk to young Clarke about this. He should decide to accept it or not," Gran Torino told All Might who nodded his head in response.

"Henry Clarke is a good choice Toshinori. But after what he's been through, I believe that giving him this responsibility would be too much."

"Yes master."

With their conversation concluding. Gran Torino decided to head back home, "Take care of yourself Toshinori. Don't overwork yourself."

Gran Torino then launched himself in the air flying away from the number one hero, "I will master. Let's just hope 'he' doesn't show up."

Yagi Toshinori began walking back inside UA figuring out what he would say to Henry.

The group of three began their journey inside the mall which was busy as ever. Kyouka and Momo couldn't help but have smiles on their faces when they saw their friend Henry amazed from his surroundings.

He was enjoying his time with them but also loved to discover new things. He eventually stopped in front of an arcade and was perplexed by the machines he saw inside. Kyouka saw the British boy's expression and could see that he was interested in the arcade.

"Hey Henry?" Kyouka asked.

"Yes Kyoka?" Henry responded.

"You want to go in?"

"Go in and do what?"

"Play games and have fun," Kyouka said which made Henry smile and get excited. Momo didn't like arcades that much and preferred to play more mind-oriented games.

"I love games! Are we playing cards? Wait! What about chess!?" Henry said excitingly and Momo was interested as well.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea," Momo said as she began thinking other games they could play.

Kyouka looked at the two of them with a deadpan expression, 'Man these guys are dorks…'

The punk rock girl couldn't deny their enthusiasm and actually enjoyed it, "No you guys. I meant as in play the arcade games."

"Oh…you mean those video games people play nowadays?" Henry asked.

"Yeah! You wanted to see what kids our age did for fun? This is one of them. So, what do you say?" Kyouka asked as she put her hand out for Henry to take it. He was hesitant but seeing those games and other kids playing excited him. That is when the Great War hero decided to go along with her.

"Yeah! Let's go! Come on Momo!" Henry shouted as Kyouka pulled him inside the arcade. Momo was a little annoyed and she wanted to play game of chess with Henry. But she knew that Henry was still learning about the world and wanted him to not worry about.

Today was going to be more about having fun and spending time with Henry. She followed after them and could see many young kids with their parents or students coming to have fun after school.

As Henry followed Kyouka inside many of the occupants were surprised to see him. Young kids stared at him with awe in their eyes and middle schoolers looked at him like he was a legend. Well… he was all things considered.

Momo noticed the looks and hoped it wouldn't cause any harm on her friend. She soon saw Henry and Kyouka in front of an air hokey table.

"What kind of game is this?" Henry asked. Kyouka smirked and began putting some coins in to start up the game.

"I'll show you how to play just take this and we'll get started," Kyouka handed him a hand-held disk and she had one as well with the puck.

"Momo? You wanna play?" Henry asked.

"No, it's alright I'll watch," Momo said despite her wanting to join in. Henry noticed this but Kyouka soon got his attention.

"To play this game Henry all you have to do is to hit the puck and hope that it lands inside the goal, ok?" Kyouka said.

"Alright," Henry responded as he got ready. Kyouka pressed a button to start it up which caused the game to start.

"Ready? Begin!"

The table activated and Henry was ready until the puck landed in his goal. Kyouka smirked which made the young British boy focus. The game continued on with Henry losing many of the matches until he ended up losing the game.

Henry looked down in defeat and Kyouka smirked in victory. Momo went to Henry's side and patted on his back to make him feel better.

"It's alright Henry. You don't have to be sad about it," she said.

"Sad? I'm not sad…I'm ecstatic!"

Momo and even Kyouka were surprised by this. His face displayed the same expression a kid would have when having a candy bar for the first time.

"What other games could we play!?" Henry shouted out causing other people to look at him with weird looks. Kyouka and Momo looked at each other and chuckled.

"We can go play Wack a mole," Momo said which made Henry smile.

"Then let us move on to another wonderful game," he pulled Momo with her as they made way. Kyouka continued to have a smile on her face, enjoying her time with her two new friends.

The group played all sorts of games. Driving, basketball, pinball, and even a game called Guitar Hero. Henry was having such a blast, never in his wildest dreams would he play such games. Back then before the war, the way he would have fun was by spending most of his time with his older brother Danny.

However, nothing lasts forever.

Kyouka spotted another game which turned out to be a shooting game. In her head she believes that it would be a fun game for Henry to play, "Hey Henry? How about this one?"

Henry who was talking to Momo about other things they could do turned to see the game. His initial reaction was that he was interested and began to walk towards it. But the more he got closer he started to feel himself freeze up.

On the game it displayed the hero gunning down enemies with a machine gun in hand. Countless enemies falling down to the ground laying dead while the hero stood victoriously. The kids in front of the game shouted in excitement as some of them tried to get the chance to play it.

For Henry, it was like look at the past. Memories of countless offensives with soldier from across the world dying beside him. Gunned down by maxim machine guns or blown away by artillery. It was a never-ending nightmare for him and for many.

Feeling his breathing become erratic. He began to stumble through the arcade to get out. Momo and Kyouka noticed him walking out and followed him. They were worried for him when they saw his face change in a matter of seconds.

They eventually got to the main part of the mall to see Henry throwing up into a water fountain. People all around saw this and were worried while some middle schoolers were recording him and laughed.

"Out of the way!" Kyouka said as she shoved some kids aside.

"Henry!" Momo shouted as she was by his side.

"Don't feel good…" Henry spoke before he threw up again.

Kyouka and Momo looked at each other knowing that the people around them wouldn't stop, "Lets get him out of here," Kyouka said.

"Right, come on Henry lets get you some fresh air," Momo said to her friend as they both picked him up and exited out of the mall to find a place to rest.

They settled down on a bench where Henry was able to rest and get his breathing under control. Momo and Kyouka felt bad for their friend and wanted to fix it right away.

Kyouka rubbed his back which helped a little till she spotted a hot dog stand where drinks could be served, "I'll be right back Henry. Momo, stay with him while I go get him something to drink."

"Ok. Don't take to long," Momo said as Kyouka went to the hot dog stand. Henry was in a bad state with tears rolling down his eyes. He felt bad to cause trouble for his friends. Momo noticed him crying and comforted him.

"I'm…sorry Momo," Henry said.

"For what?" she responded.

"For me throwing up. Causing a scene in the mall. Ruining our day."

"Our days not ruined. It doesn't matter if you threw up which…caused quite a scene but who cares what those people think. All that matters is that we have fun. Right?" Momo said with a smile which made the young soldier feel a bit better.

Henry and Momo both laughed as the two began to converse on other plans for the day. The two things that they were looking forward to was going to a record shop for Henry's record player and a clothing store for some new clothing for him. Momo had suggested that one and was very excited for it.

Kyouka soon arrived back with an orange soda in her hand, "Good to see your feeling a bit Henry."

"Yeah…what kind of drink you got for me?" Henry asked.

"Orange flavored soda. You've told me that it's become your favorite ever since coming to Japan," Kyouka said as she handed the drink. He drank the soda with a delighted smile on his face.

"To be honest I never really like soda. Back then when I was fighting along with the 369th some famous person shipped me some drinks called Coca Cola." Henry said as drank his soda. Momo was surprised by this since Coca Cola soda wasn't a big thing just yet.

"That must have been something to receive such a gift. Coca Cola was starting to become a big thing by the 20s," Momo said to Henry.

'Nerds…' Kyouka thought to herself as she rolled her eyes. However, she didn't mind it. It was nice making new friends.

"Maybe, but that drink tasted more like some sort of medicine the docs would give to me when I had the flu. Never really liked it." Henry told Momo who giggled at her friend's disgusted expression.

They both laughed but were soon interrupted by Kyouka who wanted head to another place, "Now that you nerds got that out of your system how about we head to the record shop? Heard that you want to get some new tunes for your record player. You wanna go?"

"Gladly Kyouka. C'mon Momo, maybe we can find you some music too."

Momo smiled before Henry pulled her up with his hand. The group of three walked back inside the mall and did their best to avoid the crowds to help Henry's condition. Momo and Kyouka continued with their friend and the three just decided to talk and enjoy the moment.

Momo and Kyouka both had intentions of becoming heroes and were surprised that both of them wanted to go to UA. Henry was happy for them. However, when it came to them asking Henry on becoming an official hero. He was avoiding the question.

This worried the two of them but knew best not to delve into it. They soon arrived in the record store to see that it wasn't busy and the person working at the front was a teenage girl with piercings on her face. The girl looked bored and was just looking at her phone without a care in the world.

"Excuse ma'am? Where would I find the…rock n roll section or punk rock section."

"That would be on aisle 2 or 3 sir-"

The girl looked up and was surprised to see Henry Clarke, the great war hero Englander, "OH MY GOD! ENGLANDER!"

Henry was taken a back from the girl's excitement. Kyouka and Momo looked at the girl surprised of her thrilled expression. They both looked at each other with smiles.

"I am such a big fan of you sir. I know you probably hear this a lot but you're my favorite hero. Sure, you're not as famous as heroes like Gang Orca or even All Might. But in my eyes, you're a hero just like them," The pierced girl said as she put her hand out for Henry to shake.

He hesitant but relented and shook the girl's hand who happily giggled. Henry walked away from her calming himself down. All three of them walked into the aisle to look at some music.

While Kyouka was browsing the selections she turned to Henry to see that he was enjoying his time here. She pulled out one record that brought great joy to her and reminded her of her childhood.

"Hey Henry, I think I got a good one for you."

"What is it?" he responded.

Kyouka revealed the record to be the Ramones which made Henry smile and rush towards her, "The Ramones?"

"Popular punk rock band back in the late 70s. My dad introduced me to them when I was young. It was the first time I learned about punk music and the moment I heard it I fell in love it."

"Sounds cool. I think I'll give this one a try," Henry said which made Kyouka smile. The two stayed together browsing the music and talking to each other. Momo was near by but was looking for different type of music. Classical music.

Momo didn't like rock music that much and preferred music that relaxed the mind and soul. Mozart or Beethoven were her favorites. As she continued to look, she finally found a record on Mozart.

She smiled before looking at Henry and deciding to show him what she found hoping he would like it.

"Henry, I found something you might like," Momo said. Henry and Kyouka looked towards her and were surprised what she handed to Henry.

"Mozart?"

"Yes! My favorite classical composer. Have you heard his music before?" Momo asked totally geeking out due to her love for classical music.

"I have. When I was on leave in one of the towns, they had the local musicians play for some of the lads and I. It was nice and relaxing if I must say," Henry told her.

"That sounds wonderful," Momo responded.

"Sounds boring…" Kyouka whispered to herself.

"Well…it was relaxing before some of the lads got drunk and started to fight each other. It was my first bar fight."

Momo was shocked to hear this while Kyouka was laughing just visualizing the fight. Henry laughed as well finding the two girl's reactions funny.

Henry with two new records for his record player that he would listen later decided to pay for them. Momo and Kyouka followed buying their own music that they had picked out. The cashier at the front gave her goodbyes and one last selfie before Momo and Kyouka pulled out to avoid the girl.

"Well, that was interesting. What's next?" Henry asked.

Before Kyouka could suggest. Momo spoke first with her face lit up, "I have a suggestion."

"Really? What is it?" Henry said which made Momo point her finger in a certain direction which made Kyouka and himself look that way.

She was pointing at a clothing store which made Kyouka smirk and Henry smile brightly.

"I was thinking try on some clothes and maybe buy some. Only…if you want to," Momo nervously asked. Kyouka looked at Henry knowing full well that he was going to say yes.

"I would love to Momo!"

Momo smile brightened and immediately grabbed his hand, "Spectacular! Let us go then! Come on Kyouka!"

The rich girl pulled the young lad toward the clothing store eager to try some clothes with Henry. Kyouka wasn't too eager to try on clothes but she had to get some for herself.

Kyouka walked towards the place and noticed on the window manakins wearing some punk looking clothing and some really slick but also cute jackets. She began to smile and imagined herself wearing one.

"Wow Kyouka! You look so cool!"

"I know Henry. I look stunning don't I," Kyouka said while smirking. She was flaunting her outfit and nice Jacket in front of Henry. The two began to walk with each other through the streets of Tokyo enjoying each other's company.

They soon found themselves arriving at a beach where there were not that many people around.

Henry and Kyouka found a bench to sit on and the two observed the sunset. Taking it in while the wind blew in their faces. The two young people didn't speak a word until Henry spoke again.

"Kyouka."

"Yes Henry?"

"We've known each other for a quite a while now. To the point where we can open to each other," Henry said causing Kyouka to raise an eyebrow.

"Yeah? What's up man? Something wrong?" Kyouka asked with a slight smirk.

She was then surprised when Henry placed a hand over her's which made her blush. Henry turned his whole body towards her making her do the same. He brought her hands up into his holing it with care.

"Wha-What you doing man?" Kyouka asked trying to hide her blush.

"The thing is…I've been wanting to tell you something for a long time," Henry said causing Kyouka to internally panic and a slight smile to appear.

"Kyouka Jiro, I lov-"

"Kyouka?"

"Huh?"

"Kyouka?"

Kyouka Jiro was daydreaming inside the clothing store. In her hands was the same jacket from the manikin. She turned to see Momo looking at her confused on what the punk girl was doing.

"Jiro? What's the matter?" Momo asked.

"Oh! Yaoyorozu, you startled me. Oh, nothing just admiring this cool jacket I found."

Momo looked at the jacket and her eyes began to sparkle, "Oh my gosh! That jacket looks so cool. I bet you'll look good in it."

Kyouka blushed, "Y-You really think so? Do you think Henry might like it?"

Momo kept her smile and knew that Kyouka wanted to impress a certain someone. That is when she decided to help her out with her outfit.

"Oh, he'll love it. However, let's add some more things to your outfit," Momo said as she began helping Kyouka who was looking forward to this.

As for Henry he was browsing clothes specifically to use for working out. Mostly he had shorts and tank tops to wear. As he continued his search his eyes fell upon a pair of shoes that he recognized.

It was a pair of converse shoes. He remembered back home in 1911 his mother had got him a pair. His family surprised him while he was out with his brother in town. When they returned, he was surprised by his father and mother with a nice small cake from the town's baker.

His mother had gotten the pair of shoes from a local American shoemaker looking for a place to settle. When she helped the American the person awarded her with the shoes.

Henry smiled at the memory. A time of peace before the horror he would face. As he was about to grab the shoes, he noticed another hand going for the shoes. He turned to see it was a girl. The most noticeable thing about her was the small horn she had on her head and the fact that her skin was pink.

It was none other than Mina Ashido. The free-spirited girl who planned on becoming a hero. She looked back at him and her eyes widened surprised to see who it was.

"Oh…my…God! It's you! Henry Clarke! Englander!" Mina shouted causing Momo and Kyouka to take a look at the commotion. It is then they saw Mina shaking Henry's hand violently. The two girls could see how excited Mina was.

"Another fan I presume?" Momo asked Kyouka.

"Yup…seems to me the number of girls fawning over him and the guys idolizing him are increasing day by day," Kyouka replied.

They both watched Mina talking to Henry with a wide smile. Henry was happy to meet a new person and was surprised by the skin of her color. Pink!

He wasn't going to lie. Her eyes were quite alluring which caused the boy to stare into her eyes for quite a bit, "If I don't mind asking ma'am? What is your name?"

"Oh! How rude of me. My name is Mina Ashido! It's nice to meet you too!" Mina said with a cutesy smile which made Henry chuckle.

"It's nice to meet you, Mina. It's looks like you already know me so why don't I introduce you to my friends," Henry said as he led Mina to Kyouka and Momo who were smiling at the new girl. Mina became excited and gave the two girls a big wide smile.

"Hello! My name is Mina Ashido!"

Momo decided to go first, "Momo Yaoyorozu, at your service."

"Kyouka Jiro, I like your horns," Kyouka pointed out which made Mina touch them and smile.

"Thanks! I love both of your outfits. Oh, that reminds me, you guys have to meet my friend! Kirishima come over here!"

Kyouka, Momo, and Henry watched said individual walk up to them. The teen had black droopy hair and noticeable sharp teeth. This was the one and only Eijiro Kirishima, a young man who dreamed of becoming one of the manliest heroes Japan has seen.

"Yo! Mina, you called?" Kirishima asked when he noticed three new people. Two girls his age and Henry. The manly boy's expression turned into excitement when he noticed Englander the Great War hero in front of him.

"Holy crap its you! Englander! The manliest man there is!" Kirishima rushed towards them and shook Henry's hand so fiercely it caused the British boy to twitch in slight pain.

"Another one," Kyouka said which caused Momo and Mina to chuckle as they watched Kirishima fan boy over Henry.

Mina went up to the two girls, "Kirishima is such a fan boy that ever since he saw the news in Cambrai, he's become sort of a history buff on the Great War. He also has a big poster of him in his room."

That got the two girls laughing as they watched the two boy's talk.

"It's an honor sir to meet you. You know ever since you took down those bad guys in Cambrai, I've been learning a lot about you know. Like that time during the battle of the Somme you saved a whole platoon who were trapped in No Man's land by a whole company of German's. The story goes that you took down those German's all by yourself," Kirishima said with a smile. Henry smiled remembered the memory but knew that the story that was told to be exaggerated.

"That's not entirely true. It wasn't just me lad. It was actually me and small squad of the British finest soldiers who took down those German's. Some of them were my best friends from basic," Henry said as he remembered the men he served with. Especially his two best friends Johnathan Blake and Robert Smith.

"Well sir I would love to hear more of your war stories over some good food. What do you say sir?" Kirishima said with a cheeky grin.

Henry thought about it unsure if eating was a good idea since he threw up earlier. But for whatever reason he felt his stomach grumble indicating he was hungry.

"To hell with it…I wouldn't mind some good food. What do you say guys?" Henry asked the girls who looked at each other before agreeing.

"Sure, I could get some grub in my stomach," Kyouka said feeling hungry.

"I would love to Henry. I could go for a corndog!" Momo said excitedly as she saw a corndog stand earlier.

"Hell yea! Don't forget your clothes ladies. You two are going to look fabulous in them!" Mina happily said. She then ran up to Henry and grabbed his hand.

"Let's go Henry. There's this food place that sells some really good sweets that you have to try!" Mina told the British boy who was super excited to try these sweets Mina was talking about.

"Onwards my friends! Let us eat the finest food the mall has to offer," Henry said as he walked towards the front door.

Kirishima turned to Momo and Kyouka and decided to introduce himself, "Hi, Eijiro Kirishima! What's your names?"

"Momo Yaoyorozu."

"I'm Kyouka Jirou."

"Nice to meet you guys. Let's catch up with Henry and Mina before they leave us behind," Kirishima told the two before catching up with the two.

Momo and Kyouka looked at each other before smiling. The day had been wonderful so far for the them. Henry was enjoying his day and they have met two new people that could be friends.

However, they would soon find themselves in harms way.

While people were enjoying the day in the mall or in the confines of their own home. Heroes patrolled the streets ensuring the safety of the civilians.

Officers also patrolled doing their best to help the community. Some Heroes posed for pictures or were eating at the local restaurants.

It was just another day at the office for all of them.

One officer fresh from the academy was walking around doing his everyday patrol. He noticed an older woman struggling to get up and decided to help her up.

"Let me help you up ma'am," The officer said.

"Why thank you honey," the older women responded as she was being helped.

Unbeknownst to them three vans parked in front of a laundry store. The backdoors of the vans opened up revealing men with Howa Type 89 assault rifles and baklavas with no patches or insignias on their uniforms.

They poured out of the vehicle which caused the young officer to move the lady behind cover and went to apprehend the perps. He pulled out his service pistol and pointed at the men hoping to stop them.

"FREEZE! DROP YOUR WEAPONS!"

The masked men turned to the officer and opened fire causing people in the area to scramble for cover or to run away. The officer quickly got to cover and returned fire. But the destructive gunfire caused him to stay in cover.

Some civilians were caught in the cross fire and were killed. The officer returned fire yet again and noticed a teenage girl wounded bleeding out on the ground with gunshot wounds in her neck.

The officer felt helpless and could only watch in horror as the teen bled out. That's when a fragmentation grenade fell in front of her.

"NOOO!"

*BOOM! *

The explosion caused the officer to be thrown away into some dirt. He was dizzy at first till he noticed another horrifying scene with a bloody baby carriage. The parents laid on the ground dead with bullet holes.

This was hell.

Is what the officer thought to himself he got up and grabbed his radio and began to call it in, "WE HAVE ARMED GUN MEN AT LAUNDRY STORE AT 54TH SKYWALKER STREET! SEND OFFICERS AND ANY HEROES IN THE AREA! HURRY!"

Inside the store they rushed in killing any in their way. A four-man squad of the gunmen made their way to the back of the place where an older man waited in hiding with a MP5 in his hands.

The gunmen broke through the door with ease and got in. The old man opened fire on them killing two of the gunmen. He was then littered with bullets and was dead by the time he hit the floor.

"Hurry! Find the case now!" The leader of the squad shouted to his teammate. They both searched the back room and thrashing the whole place. Until one of them found the case behind a fake wall compartment.

"Found it sir!"

"Good let's get the hell out of here!"

Back outside the young officer was joined by other officers trying their best to combat the armed gunmen. They found out that these gunmen were equipped with heavy weapons and explosive launchers.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE THE HEROES!" One officer screamed out before getting shot in the shoulder.

"He's right! Where the hell are they! We can't hold them off for long!" Another officer said as he reloaded his firearm and returned fire.

The gunmen gained fire superiority over the policemen and would have won the battle. Problem was is that more heroes were coming and one of them had arrived.

Landing behind a squad of gunmen stood Kamui Woods the wood hero. The armed men were surprised to see this hero and turned their rifles at Kamui but he was already ahead of them.

"No gonna happen!" Kamui Woods used his Quirk Arbor which sprouted out branches of wood that wrapped around some of the bad guys.

"What the fuck is this!"

"You fucking hero!"

"Disrupting the peace and harming civilians and local law enforcement! You are the epitome of evil!" Woods shouted at the men.

"Die in a fucking hole hero!"

Kamui grew tired of them and threw them into the ground very hard. Causing them to have broken bones and knocked out.

Kamui Woods turned to see two armed men direct their fire towards him before he had to jump away behind some cover where some of the officers were.

"Nice to see you here sir!" The young officer said glad that the hero was there.

"Glad I was in the area! Stay behind cover! I'll take them down!" Kamui Woods shouted before he recognized a certain giantess from afar as she came closer.

"Not her…"

The young officer turned to look in the same direction and blushed madly before saying who it was, "It's Mount Lady!"

The giant lady made her way towards the firefight to help out whatever way she could. She was a new upcoming hero who was ambiguous and show the world who she was.

"Time for you boys to be stopped," Mount Lady said as she did a cute pose. Some of the gunmen looked at her surprised by her tight costume causing one of the younger gunmen to say an unfamiliar phrase.

"Death by snu snu!"

His comrades looked at him weirdly. With their focus on Mount Lady Kamui Woods jumped into the fray and took some them down. Two men prepared to fight at him while he was between them. He jumped into the air and missed their gunfire which resulted in them getting shot.

He glared at Mount Lady who was still posing, "Quit posing and take them down!"

"You're such a party pooper!" Mount lady said as she pouted.

With the gunmen now realizing that the battle was nearing its end and defeat coming soon. The commanding officer of the armed men gave the order to get back in the vans. With the officers still covering the heroes and their weapons trained on the armed men.

The leader knew it was suicide to shoot their way out now with heroes coming to stop them. He looked to one man who had bag on him.

"Prepare your gasmasks and grenades. A lethal dose of this and your skin start to boil," The leader said as he and his men put on their masks.

Before stepping out he held up a clacker and looked outside with a smirk, "Hope you heroes can save everyone."

Once clicking his clacker explosions could be heard in all directions. Mount Lady, Kamui Woods, and the rest of the officers could see it. They were horrified by this sudden event and began to fear the worse.

The officers began to scramble to their cars and go towards the direction of utter chaos. Soon firefighters and paramedics arrived tending to the wounded while heroes from nearby agencies began rounding up the bad guys and helping the civilians.

However, Kamui kept himself focused on the people around him until he noticed gas grenades being thrown out which revealed to be tear gas.

"Tear gas!" Kamui said out loud causing the people to run away. He used his quirk to grab a couple of civilians to get them out of danger. Mount Lady tried to use her quirk but the gas became too much for her to handle causing her to fall to the ground.

Kamui noticed this and went for her. He picked her up over his shoulders and got out quickly. He checked on her to see that she was fine with no serious injuries.

"Mount Lady? Are you alright!?" Kamui asked.

"Oh, just dandy. Its not like I'm coughing up my lungs!" Mount Lady responded with some coughs.

The masked men were able to get out quickly and into their vans. The remaining soldiers drove away from the combat zone. Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady were the only ones to notice them going. Wasting no time Kamui Woods began to get himself back in the fight.

"Mount Lady! I'm going after those cars! You stay here and help out the authorities!"

Kamui Woods then began to pursue the vans leaving Mount Lady behind. While she would voice her displeasure, her focus was on helping out the injured civilians. She looked to an older lady bleeding from her head. She tended to the lady and began rescue operations.

Even if her and the other heroes were able to stop the gunmen. The damage was too severe.

15 minutes earlier

On one of the bridges a traffic jam prevented Henry and his friends from continuing their day of fun. They were on their way to a café that Mina and Kirishima go to after school.

The group were in Momo's limo where Mina and Kirishima were having a fun time with their new found friends.

"So, you guys are going to UA too?" Kirishima excitedly asked Kyouka and Momo who were taken back from the boy's excitement. While UA high was the most famous school it was also the most difficult to get in. Most of the people the teens knew wanted to go but decided no to when it came to the written exams.

Mina was kind enough to help him with studying which proved to be a benefit for him.

"Well, I'm taking the exam. As for Momo here. She got in on recommendations," Kyouka said which made Momo blush out of embarrassment. Mina, Kirishima, and Henry couldn't help but be in awe at Momo's recommendations.

"So, you must be like really good with your quirk and really smart!" Kirishima said out loud.

"Oh…it's nothing really," Momo replied.

"You kidding me! Momo not only are you really cool and smart. But your also really cute!" Mina with a cheeky grin.

This caused Momo to blush madly and cover her face with her hands. Kyouka felt a bit hurt that Mina did not comment on her. As for Kirishima he gave a thumbs up agreeing with Mina. Momo deepened her face into her hands and Kyouka felt her mood go down in the dumps.

Henry who was smiling the whole time noticed Kyouka's downcast expression. Doing what he always does best he helps brighten Kyouka's mood. He places his hand on her shoulder which makes her look at him.

"Hey Henry…what's up?"

"I noticed that you were sad. Is it what Mina said?"

"No…"

Henry stared at the punk girl with a blank expression.

"Yes. In reality back at school. A lot of the boys at school mostly go with the pretty girls. For punk girls like me, I usually don't catch anyone's eyes. Most of the time they think of me as a weirdo."

Kyouka dropped her eyes to floor feeling her heart ache of a bad memory with a crush she had. However, when she got the chance to confess, he had told her that he wasn't in weird punk girls.

"Well…I think your pretty."

Kyouka eyes widened as she looked at Henry who gave her a heartwarming smile.

"When it comes to beauty, I always consider their personality. For you Kyouka, you have probably one of the prettiest hair and eyes I've seen. So, whenever you feel self continues about your looks. Know that your good old friend Henry Clarke thinks you're pretty."

The punk girl couldn't help but brighten up. She felt her heart beat a bit fast and her hands get clammy. Whenever she was in a bad mood, she knew that Henry would be there to help her out.

She began to giggle causing Henry to smile.

"You're such a dummy," Kyouka said as she lightly punched Henry's shoulder who chuckled.

"Well, I was always considered a goof ball by my mother," he said with a smile.

Unknown to the two of them Mina and Momo saw the happy conversation. While Mina was happy to see Kyouka smile and laughing. She felt a bit jealous of her.

Momo on the other hand was also jealous. She felt her heart hurt a little at such kind words Henry said to Kyouka. No matter how much she wanted to deny it. She wanted Henry to talk to her in that way.

"So…manly."

The two girls turned to Kirishima who was crying tears of joy on the kind words Henry spoke. Henry to him wasn't just manly, but a true gentleman.

Then all of a sudden, the limo began to shake causing everybody to be thrown a bit. Kyouka landed onto Henry's chest which was embarrassing. When she looked at him, she was taken a back on the expression on his face.

Just minutes ago, he was happy with a smile. Now, he had a serious facial expression. Indicating to her and the others that something was wrong.

"What the heck was that?" Mina said. Kirishima soon turned to the back window to see that there was a ball of fire raging on the bridge. Till an explosion happened causing everybody to panic a bit.

"My god! That was an explosion!" Momo shouted.

"An explosion! Holy crap we got to get out of here!" Kirishima added in.

Henry hearing those words looked to the front of the car to see people running out of their cars leaving them unattended. Getting out of here by car would not be happening.

"We can't get out of here Ms. Yaoyorozu! The cars are in the way!" the driver said with sweat going down his head.

"Then we run for safety! Everyone we're heading towards the end of the bridge!" Henry barked out surprised by this change. Kyouka was scared shitless from the explosion and panicking people. But seeing Henry act so brave encouraged her to follow his example.

Once the group exited out of the limo it was utter chaos. Families and civilians ran away from the explosions. However, he noticed some people terrified to move and just sat crying.

Henry looked to his friends who were all scared. While he may not be a soldier anymore. He was still a hero.

"EVERYONE!"

His yell caused his friends and even the terrified people to look at him.

"WE MUST MAKE OUR WAY TO THE END OF THE BRIDGE! WE GOT TO GET TO SAFETY! FOLLOW ME!"

His words had surprisingly made the people to get up but still scared. He began to run in front of all of them to lead them out of the danger. His friends who followed behind him also helped anyone who was hurt.

All around them people screamed out of fear wondering where the heroes were. Unknown to all of them the heroes were dealing with the other bridges that had been damaged.

For now, Henry's group and the people evacuating the bridge would have to help themselves.

"SOMEBODY HELP!"

Henry stopped immediately to look at a school bus with young children still on board. It looked like the explosion had caused the bus to crash off the side but was stuck in the middle. The female teacher tried to open up the emergency back door but it was jammed due to the crash.

Wasting no time, he went to go help. The people who he was leading noticed him go towards the school bus and decided to continue on their way to safety. However, his friends decided to follow him.

"Please help us!" The female teacher yelled out. The children in the bus were afraid and cried. Fearing that they may perish.

"Ok! Stand back ma'am!"

The Englishman using his strength thanks to his quirk pulled the door clean off. The children and the teacher exited out as quickly as possible. Momo and Kyouka began to gather kids around them and made them hold each other hands to stay together.

Kirishima and Mina helped calmed down some of the children. This helped a little but with the explosions going on it only made things worse.

Henry got the teacher who was thankful for the man saving him.

"Thank you, sir, for saving us!"

"Don't worry ma'am. Listen gather your children up and head to safety. I'm gonna go get the driver."

"Ok!"

Henry looked back in the bus to see the driver was unconscious. Unknown to the British boy was that under that part of the bridge held an explosive which set off immediately.

The kids and his friends were safe but Henry who was in the bus was blasted out and hit the ground hard. The explosion caused the bus to tip over the side of the bridge causing the life of the driver.

"No!" Henry yelled out trying his best to get back up.

Sadly, he was too late. The bus crashed in the water with the front side being crushed by the surface. Killing the driver immediate.

The driver was gone and Henry couldn't do anything about it. While most would be horrified by such an event. Henry buried it deep within.

He couldn't think about the bus driver's death. Henry had to get his friends and these kids to safety. He catches up to his friends and noticed Kirishima shocked by the death.

"T-That guy dead…Holy…"

"Kirishima!"

The boy looked at Henry who kept a straight face, "We have to go now. Come on."

Kirishima finding whatever strength he had left followed Henry. To witness a death was something many of them thought they would ever see.

Mina, Kyouka, and Momo who were guiding the kids did their best to stay calm and brave. However, the death also had affected them as well.

The group finally reached the end of the bridge where first responders were tending to the people.

Henry's group led the children to a bench where the kids could rest and be checked on.

"Ma'am, I suggest you do a roll call on the children," Henry said with a stern voice.

"Right…Children! Say here when I say your name!" The female teacher began to list of names of her students who with her. Henry and his friends were resting but most of them were shaken up by the whole situation.

Momo went off on her own to find her limo driver who was with the other group. Henry followed her till they both found him injured with severe burns.

Momo couldn't help but be shocked and scared for the him. She did her best to hold it together but seeing her limo driver who would drive her everywhere burned was a terrifying image.

Henry got to her and did his best to calm her down.

"H-He's hurt. His skin is severely burned. Oh my god…oh my god…" Momo said as she began to panic.

"Momo! Momo you got to calm down. Look at me!" Henry yelled out taking his hands and placing it on her shoulders.

This helped her lessen her panic attack and found herself calming down. Henry offered her a smile which made her weakly smile and try to forget about the whole situation.

"Someone! Help!"

Henry and the rest of his friends turned to an injured man who was bleeding badly. He looked for any heroes but sadly none could be seen. That is until his eyes fell upon Henry.

"There are some people trapped in a public transit! I tried to get them out but…I got hurt badly by some shrapnel. Please you have to save them!" the injured man begged.

Even though Henry was still a kid he still had to act. Despite his friends not wanting him to go out there.

"Don't worry lad. I'll get them out."

Kyouka and Mina looked at him shocked and worried. They knew that Henry was a capable boy but having their friend go back out there scared them.

"Hold up man! We already when through enough danger. Why don't we just let the hero's take care of it!" Kirishima said.

"Those people can't wait for the heroes and the first responders aren't going to be able to get to them. I know you probably think what I am doing is dangerous but I can't just run away while civilians are in danger!"

Kirishima stood astounded by his friend's declaration. It was surreal to think that the boy that stood in front of him was the first hero to exist. A teenage boy who showed no fear to danger.

'So manly!' Kirishima thought to himself as he shed some tears.

The girls stared at the boy who looked back at them. He could see that they worried for him but Henry only gave them a smirk which did little to reassure them.

As he began to run again back into the fray. People who were being tended by paramedics or resting from the carnage watched the young man run into the fire. What shocked them the most was that someone so young be going back and trying to rescue people.

Unknown to them however was that Henry felt fear. While the explosions could be heard and fires roared it began to have a negative effect on his mind.

Henry began to imagine that he was in a battlefield. The worst part was that when he stopped to look at a burning car. He began to see something in the flames.

In those flames were faces. Faces of people screaming out in pain and agony as their skin burned and bubbled away. They asked for help from the young man but Henry couldn't do anything about it.

He was soon pulled from his little nightmare when he heard people off in the distance. A woman voice echoed through carnage.

"Someone please, help!"

At that moment Henry began to focus back up. He breathing slowed back to normal and began to run towards the person. He covered his mouth to block out the smoke but he was no stranger to such danger.

He soon arrived where the people were in trouble. In front of Henry was a public bus but the bad part about it was that the entrances were blocked by cars that were damaged by the explosion. The women that was yelling for help was looked like she was badly hurt along side a couple of people.

While they could have crawled out from the windows, the ones who was hurt the most seemed to look like they couldn't move that much.

"Look its Englander! He'll get us out!"

"Are you crazy! He's just a kid! Let the real heroes come save us!"

"Does it look like there are other heroes here!"

Henry didn't care for what some of them said about him. All that mattered was getting them out of the bus.

"Everyone! Stand back!" Henry shouted making the people in the bus back up and be ready. Using his quirk, he lifted up the car and threw it off the bridge clearing the path. He then proceeded to force open the door.

"Hurry! The bridge might go out! We don't have much time! Head to the end of the bridge!"

Henry began to direct people out from the bus and made sure there were no one left. Before he could follow, he took one last look inside to see an older woman laying on her back hurt. With her was recognizable greened haired kid.

"P-Please ma'am. The heroes are going to be here as soon as possible."

Unknown to him Henry ran towards him. He was startled when he felt a hand place upon his shoulder. Izuku Midoriya turned to see Henry Clarke standing behind him with a determined look.

"Your-"

"Sorry Lad no time for chit chat! Can you walk?"

"Yeah but…the lady can't. She's hurt badly. I-I don't know what to do," Izuku said as he felt fear take over him. Henry could see the scared expression on the boy's face. An expression that he had see many times in young soldiers ordered to go over the top.

However, Henry knew the only he could do to help this young man was to calm him down.

"Kid."

Izuku looked at Henry feeling terrified.

"I need you to focus right now. I know your scared but you have to stay strong ok. We're gonna get out of here and get this woman to safety. Right?" Henry asked.

Even though he was scared Izuku found the courage to suck up his fear, "R-Right."

"Ok… good… now ma'am look at me," The older woman who was badly injured looked at her savior.

"I'm gonna pick you up but it's gonna hurt. I'm gonna get you out of her ma'am. Ok?"

"O…Ok."

"Good let's get you out of here. Lad lets go," Henry said as he slowly picked up the older women as gently as he could. Izuku soon followed grabbing his backpack. They both got out just in time when the bus suddenly exploded.

All of them ran as fast as they could avoiding any debris in the way. Izuku ran as best he could but he wasn't as fit as Henry. He could feel his lungs on fire and his hear beating faster than ever.

He never thought he would meet Henry Clarke himself. Izuku thought about asking him for an autograph after all this.

Henry ran with all might. He felt tired with thoughts of giving up. But the elderly women who held on to him for dear life motivated him to keep going. To be the kind of man his parents and brother would be proud of.

The young man was close to safety till an explosion caused him to be thrown forward but immediately used his quirk to make a shield around them protecting the both of them.

Kirishima who was helping the injured noticed Henry coming towards him, "Guys! Henry is back!"

Mina, Momo, and Jirou all stopped what they were doing and felt extremely glad to see him alive. He smiled back as he slowly placed the elderly lady on the ground.

"Alright ma'am. Looks like you're bleeding from the arm," Henry said out loud which caught Momo's attention. She grabbed a bandage she found from a first aid kit she found.

"Don't worry Henry. I'll get her all cleaned up and take her over to the paramedics. They got their hands full right now," Momo sadly said.

"Sounds good Momo. Good thing I got to her and the kid out of danger. They could have been killed," Henry said as he sighed in relief. Once he said that Jirou and Mina looked at each other in confusion.

"What boy?" Mina asked.

"The green haired kid with freckles that was with me."

"Um…dude. Theres no one else other than the women you brought here," Jirou said causing Henry to be confused.

"What do you mean? He's right her-"

Henry turned around to see no sight of Izuku and only saw Kirishima. His eyes widened and feared the worst. The young man immediately focused his eyes back to the bridge knowing that Izuku was still in that hell fire. Immediately Henry found his strength once again and was about to go back out when he was stopped by some firefighters.

"Easy their kid! You can't go back out the fire is getting worse!" One firefighter told him.

"I have to go back out there. Theres a kid that needs my help! I can't leave him!" Henry yelled out.

"Are you crazy! You'll get you and that kid killed if you go back out there! Let the heroes do their job!" Another firefighter said making Henry mad.

Even with his status of being considered the first hero. They treated him as some helpless kid who couldn't do anything. However, that didn't matter to him. The only thing that mattered to Henry was helping others.

It's the one thing his parents and brother taught him.

"I can't leave him!"

Henry shook off the men and ran back into the fire. His friends screamed out to him to stop. Even Kirishima wanted run out but was stopped immediately.

Izuku who was knocked down by an explosion was on the ground pinned by debris. The heat was getting higher and no matter how hard he tried to push the debris off he was too weak. He felt his leg bleeding which made Izuku feel his eyes watering.

'Please…someone…'

As he began to wept. Out of the smoke came his hero Henry who was glad to see the boy. Izuku stared at him smiling with tears going down his cheeks.

"Don't worry lad! Your gonna be fine!" Henry said as he went to go lift the debris. When his hands touched it, he felt it burn causing him to pull away. He looked down at his hand to his skin burned.

He looked back down at Izuku who was crying profusely. He hated seeing people cry. To see them at their weakest was a fear he had. But he knew that he had to save him. It was his duty.

"I don't wanna die!" Izuku screamed.

"You're not gonna die."

Izuku opened his eyes to look at Henry who had a smile. He was tired but did not show it.

"You know why? Because I'm here to rescue you!"

At that moment for whatever reason. The boy who stood in front of him displayed the same energy as the number one hero All Might.

Henry using his all of his power began to pick up the metal debris. He could feel his hand burning but that did not matter. With all of his strength he slowly lifted the debris off of Midoriya. Izuku was stunned seeing Henry lifting up the beam despite his hand burning.

Izuku knew that he couldn't do much but took off his school jacket and put it over his hands. He too began to push with whatever strength his body could give. The metal debris was slowly lifted off of him and thrown to the side.

Henry looked down at his hands to see them burn with his skin gone. He looked down at Izuku who was finally free was glad to be ok. He noticed that Izuku's leg was bleeding.

"Your legs bleeding."

Izuku looked down and touched his wound noticing that it was pretty bad. He winced in pain, "It hurts…I don't know if I can walk."

Hearing those words, Henry knew at that moment he would have to pick up Izuku and get him the hell out of here.

The bridge that supported began to give away causing the two to look at each other with shocked expressions.

"Time for us to get out of here," Henry said. He then picked Izuku up and put him over his shoulders.

Henry quickly ran towards safety. The bridge began to crack under his feet making the lad to speed up. At the end he can see his friends looking for him until they saw him.

The group felt relieved to see him but also could feel that the bridge was giving out.

"Hurry man! The whole bridge is going down!" Kirishima yelled out.

'Like I didn't know already,' Henry thought to himself.

Izuku looked behind Henry only to see the bridge finally breaking apart. Pieces of the once strong bridge gave way making Henry to full on sprint to the end. Just as the ground was breaking away Henry then jumped at the last moment. Kirishima prepared to catch them both.

Henry and Izuku crashed into Kirishima causing the boys to fall onto each other. The girls checked on the boys to see that Henry and Izuku were hurt severely. Before they did anything, the group of kids looked back at the destruction to see nothing left of the bridge.

They couldn't believe that just moments ago they were enjoying their day out. Only for it to turn into something terrible. Not to far from them they could see news helicopters flying over them towards in a different direction where smoke was visible.

Upon looking in that direction they could see that another bridge had been destroyed. Making some of them believe that this was no ordinary accident.

The young group took notice of the chaos around them. Some people rested trying to understand what had happen. Others were injured being tended by first responders. Lastly the people who were badly or severely hurt were groaning in a pain. Some screamed while thrashing around. Henry looked around till his eyes fell upon a father holding onto his daughter whose body was severely burnt.

Henry couldn't find himself looking away recognizing such destruction.

"Henry?"

The young lad turned to Jirou to see a worried expression on her face. She was looking directly at his hands to see them. Jirou was shocked to notice that Henry had not shown any sign of pain from him.

"Oh…my…fucking hands…" Henry said as he looked down at them.

"MOMO! Get over here and help me out!" Jirou shouted as she tried to help Henry out the best she could.

Momo arrived and gasped at the sight and felt her stomach turn. She held in her bile and began to apply first aid onto Henry's hand. She worried for him and began to put gauze and wrapped it up best she could.

"I've done all I could to keep it from being infected. But you'll need to go to the hospital to treat your wounds. Ok?" Momo said.

"…"

"Henry?"

The young lad was so tired that he was staring off into the distance. His eyes were watching the chaos around him. Feeling his mind slip away. Momo grew worried for him and placed her hand on his shoulder which got a reaction from him. He turned to her doing his best to focus.

"Hey, you're going to be fine ok. The whole things over. You're going to a hospital real soon ok Henry. We're all going to go with you," Momo kindly said as she rubbed his shoulder to try and comfort him.

He weakly smiled which made Momo and Jirou feel better. Henry turned his attention to Kirishima and Mina who were checking Izuku. Immediately Henry tried to get up but his legs gave out making Momo and Jirou catch him.

"Thank you…please…I have to check on the kid…" Henry weakly said.

Momo and Jirou looked at each other worried even more due to his condition. But they knew he wouldn't stop.

"Ok man, we'll take you to him but after that you're to the hospital. No exceptions," Jirou firmly said. This made Henry smile.

"Yes ma'am," Henry weaking said making Jirou brighten a bit and Momo chuckle.

The three met up with the rest to see that Mina had already applied first aid thanks to Momo's instructions. Kirishima provided the boy with some water he found from one of the cars which helped better Izuku's condition.

The two looked at their friends only to become shocked to see the terrible wounds Henry had.

"Oh my gosh! Henry!" Mina said as she teared up seeing the burned hands her friend hand.

"Holy crap dude! You gotta get to the hospital!" Kirishima added.

"Soon…I'll go soon but…I have to know…is the kid, ok?" Henry asked.

"He's fine, but he's pretty hurt around his legs. We bandaged up best we could thanks to Momo," Mina said with a grin. Momo felt her face brighten up hearing the comment.

"Good job Momo… you're going to become a great hero from all the people you're helping. Thank you," Henry said with a weak smile.

The group of friends began to feel better knowing that they were all ok. Momo was still a bit hesitant due to her limo driver being severely injured. Henry kneeled beside Midoriya who was smiling knowing that he was fine and safe. He noticed his hero beside and turned to face him.

"Hey kid…I'm good to see that you're ok."

"Yeah, I was scared at first but…thanks to you I'm safe. You're a great hero," Midoriya said making him Henry shake his head.

"Nah kid…I'm just a soldier doing his duty to protect his friends. What matters most is that your safe. Your gonna be heading to hospital soon, ok?" Henry told him.

"Ok…thank you Englander."

"Please… just call me Henry. Henry Clarke."

"Thank you… Clarke," Izuku said. The group of kids smiled knowing that Izuku would be fine.

"You're welcome. What's your name kid?"

"Izuku… Izuku Midoriya."

At that moment.

Henry felt shook.

He couldn't believe it.

In front of him was a boy who had the same last name as Ayaka. His moment of silence unnerved the group making Mina shake him a bit.

"Henry? You, ok?" Mina asked.

"Yeah man, you're scaring us," Kirishima weakly said.

However, the young man did not respond. Instead, he felt tears in his eyes as he looked at Izuku. His friends were worried for him unsure on why he began to cry a bit.

Momo, Jirou, and Mina went to his side asking him questions to see what was wrong. Kirishima who was also worried noticed some commotion going on. People began to turn in the direction.

The cause of the commotion were two vans that crashed into a couple cars. Not to far were a couple of police cars chasing the vans with the pro hero Kamui Woods on top of one of the police cars.

People began rushing towards the side to avoid being hit. Some didn't make it and were hit in the process. However, the first van noticed that the bridge they turned on was destroyed causing it to stop. While the van behind it crashed causing mayhem.

Henry and his friends got out of the way in time. Kirishima picked Izuku up and covered him using his hardening quirk. Momo, Jirou, and Mina were covered by Henry who pushed out of the way on time.

When the whole thing was over, he began checking on everyone.

"You…girls, ok?"

"Yeah, thanks…" Jirou responded as she massaged her head.

"My hero," Mina happily said as she enjoyed the closeness.

"I'll be ok Henry. Thank you for saving me," Momo said as she offered him a smile.

"I'm glad to hear… that your all right," Henry told them as he held them close causing the girls to brighten.

With the girls ok. Henry went to check on Kirishima and Izuku. He saw that Kirishima was fine but Izuku who was sill injured.

"Izuku!? Izuku!?" Henry said as he tried to wake him but the sudden movement probably made the poor boy go unconscious.

"Don't worry. I think he's just down under," Kirishima told him making the British boy feel better.

Unknown to the group of kids the armed gunmen inside the vans began filing out. Some were hurt and looking pissed. They had hoped that the explosions would have made the majority of the police and heroes go to the other bridges.

However, some police men and some heroes joined in the chase. The leader of the group looked at his men seeing them angry as well. He turned his attention to the driver of the first van.

"WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING!?"

"WELL, I'M SORRY! IF ONLY YOU GUYS HAD KILL THOSE FUCKS, THEN I WOULDN'T HAVE MADE A WRONG TURN!"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! THE ONLY WAY OUT IS SHOOTING OUR WAY OUT!"

The last remaining gunmen began loading up their rifles and explosives.

Henry and his group of friends took refuge behind some cars. Hiding so they would not be spotted. While Henry was somewhat calm. His friends were fearing for their lives. The sight of armed gunmen equipped with automatic rifles brought some disturbing scenarios that played in their heads.

He looked to his friends and put his finger to his mouth to signal to them not to talk or make a sound. They followed his lead but the girls were scared. Kirishima also felt afraid despite having a hardening quirk.

Henry observed the gunmen to see that they began firing back at the officers. The officers were only equipped with .38s which did little to the body armor the bad guys wore.

Gunfire was exchanged between the two groups with civilians caught in the middle. Kamui woods who was there focused his efforts on the civilians and not on the villains.

"Damn, I can believe this shit. All of this for some fucking case!?" A gunmen said as he loaded another magazine into his Howa 89 rifle.

"Well, the boss said the person who wants it will pay us big time!" Another responded.

The two men cheered before returning fire at the police. Henry despite being severely injured was ready to fight. However, his focus was on his friends and wanted to keep them safe.

That was until one of the bad guys found them. Henry was immediately hit in the face and thrown onto the ground. His friends were grabbed and thrown to the ground not to far from them.

"Holy shit! It's Englander!"

"How much do you think we could get if we give our client the body of the great war hero?"

"Fuck…probably a fucking million!"

The group of gunmen surrounded him with their rifles pointed at his friends. Mina, Momo, and Jirou were scared beyond belief. Kirishima and the unconscious Izuku were being dragged away to separate the group. However, Kirishima despite being afraid began to struggle against their captors.

"Stop moving kid!"

"The heroes are gonna stop you and your friends!" Kirishima responded causing the gunmen to laugh. He then hit Kirishima in the face with his rifle causing the poor kid to loos a tooth. Mina seeing this despite being scared was enraged seeing her friend hurt tried to fight back.

Using her quirk, she shot out a stream of acid onto the mans face causing the captor to scream in pain. Henry and the friends saw this and felt afraid of what might happen. The gunmen were shocked that a girl like her would do such a thing.

"You fucking BITCH!" The scared man grabbed Mina by her horns and bashed her faced onto the ground causing her to cry in pain. Momo, Jirou, and Kirishima wanted to do something but their fear was in control.

The man then pulled out his pistol which was a USP9and pointed at the girl's head, "YOUR FUCKING YOU WHORE!"

Mina could not find any words. The scared man had punched so hard that she was spitting out blood. She cried fearing that she maybe killed at this moment begging someone to save her.

As the group of Gunmen laughed and cheering for the death of the pink skinned girl.

Henry felt something snap inside.

All the pain he felt disappeared.

Replaced with anger…no…hatred…a burning hatred that felt so many years ago.

He gritted his teeth feeling himself loose all feeling of pain. His captor noticed this and wondered what was happening.

"Hey? The fuck you doing?"

Henry responded but not with words. Instead, he responded in a more brutal way. Grabbing a piece of broken glass, he then jammed it into the man's eye. The man screamed in pain before he was finally killed when Henry kept on stabbing his face.

The gunmen and his friends noticed this and were shocked on such savagery.

"Fuck kill him!" One man said as they began firing at the hero.

Henry quickly brought up the dead man and used him as a shield. In the process he grabbed the man's pistol. Revealing it to be a USP9. He then kicked the body towards the gunmen. This caused them to stop shooting due to the body falling on them. His friends were shocked making them sit still.

"Get down now!" Henry yelled out aiming the pistol at the bad guys. His friends immediately went to the ground and covered each other out of danger. Henry began blasting away at the gunmen. Three were killed in the process with two lefts. He rushed towards them dropping the pistol and diving towards them over his friends. They crashed down to the ground giving his friends a chance to get out of the way. They watched Henry fight but it was something they were not used to. Most of the time heroes that they saw in person or on the news fought villains with less violent attacks and didn't kill.

But seeing Henry. A kid their age kill was something they would never forget. Momo saw the cold hardened expression Henry had which scared her.

The two bad guys began to fight Henry with their fists getting some hits in. He was hit a couple of times to the face and gut which did hurt him but it did little to make him stop.

Henry kicked one man away with such force he was thrown to a car. The other man pulled out a knife and tried to stab Henry. He grabbed the wrist of the man and redirected the knife into the man's gut causing him scream.

He then grabbed the man's head and bashed it onto the hood of car over and over again till his face was unrecognizable.

The bad guy noticed this and was shocked. He pulled out his pistol and fired a couple of shots. Henry was hit two times in the arm but he kept going. Picking up a piece of rebar and jammed into the man's face killing him instantly.

His friends felt scared…afraid of him. He could feel their stares but he had to stop these men. They caused all this harm to his friends and to the innocent people.

Jirou who was helping Mina with her wounds looked at Henry. She was worried for him and wanted to help him. But as she was about to Henry moved on towards his targets.

"Wait…" Mina tried to speak.

Henry marched towards the gun fight with clear objective.

Killing the men.

The policemen who were shooting back tried their best push forward but the hailstorm of bullets prevented them. However, the gunfire began to lessen causing some of the officers to be confused.

Out of nowhere a body crashed onto a police car. Causing some officers and even Kamui Woods to step back. The body was a dead gunman who had visible bruises on his face with blood leaking from his mouth.

They ceased firing and watched what unfolded in front of them. The remaining gunmen turned their direction towards Henry who was charging at them. In his hand was a tactical knife he took from one of the bodies.

"Kill the fucker!" One guy yelled out as they fired upon Henry. The great war soldier jumped high avoiding the gunfire before slamming on top a person crushing him and causing some to be forced away. Hery did not let up and began to kill left and right.

Gunmen after gunmen began being killed in the most brutal and harsh way. Blood splattered all over covering the road and cars that surrounded him. One man tried to grab him but Henry saw this coming. He drove his knife into the man's neck. Two more closed in but they would soon be stopped.

Henry turned to them and grabbed them by their necks before crushing one person's windpipe and throwing the other off the bridge. There only remained three gunmen and the leader of the whole operation. They were shitting their pants unable to think straight.

The leader of the gunmen was scared and felt his hand shaking like it was winter, "What are you waiting for? Go and kill him!"

The three men looked at each other before following the order. They knew they were fucked, but they didn't care. All three reloaded their final magazine and unloaded it at Henry. He immediately took cover behind a car as bullets flew over him. He got an idea which made the boy smirk.

Using his power, he kicked the car with great force which crushed the three men. One was still alive and pulled out his side arm to shoot but noticed that it was out of ammo. Henry got close to the man to see the fear in his eyes.

The man was scared and eventually died from blood loss. Henry turned his attention to the boss to find that he had a hostage who was a young boy.

Henry stopped to notice the father on the ground holding his leg wound but also tried to reach for his son. The great war hero stared at the man with killer intent that made the man shiver.

"You come any closer I kill the kid. You wouldn't want that to happen Englander?"

Henry didn't respond and focused on the young boy. The young lad was crying holding on what looked like a plushie of All Might.

"Hey lad?"

The kid looked at Henry seizing his crying. The British boy even blood on his face still offered a weak smile.

"Everything is going to be alright, ok?"

The kid nodded his head trying his best to not cry anymore. This made Henry smile and the bad guy to become angry. He dug his pistol even more into the kid's head.

"Shut the fuck up you fucking brit! If I'm going to die this kid is going to come with me," The boss yelled out becoming crazier by the minute.

"That's not gonna happen. The heroes and the police have you surrounded," Henry angrily said.

"What? You think some kind of hero who's going to save the day!?"

Henry smirked, "No…I'm just a soldier…trying to be good man."

Immediately after he threw a piece of concrete that he hid straight to the head of the lone gunmen. It made its mark causing the man to scream in pain and let the child go who went straight to his father. Henry dashed forward and grabbed the man and held him by his neck. The gunmen coughed out blood knowing full well he had lost. But still had a trick up his sleeve.

"You think you've won Englander!? Things are different now! Rules have changed!" The gunmen gaggled.

"Shut up! You're going to pay for what you did here! You think these new rules will save your life!"

The man began laughing psychotically before opening his jacket to reveal an explosive vest. Henry was confused on what it was before noticing that it had grenades which caused him to push away and went for the kid and his father.

The gunmen went over the railing and fell off before blowing up causing shrapnel to spread all over.

In the minutes that followed. The police began to move forward. Kamui Woods who was with them led the police through the carnage. All around and even on the ground blood was everywhere. Some police couldn't stomach what they saw and some looked away.

What made them sick were that some of the bad guys had been killed in the worse way possible. Kamui Woods noticed a young group of kids walking towards them. He went towards them and began checking on them.

"Let's get you kids out of here! Can you kids keep going?" He asked.

"Yes, but one of our friends is hurt and unconscious," Kirishima said.

"Ok, I'll get him. Then we'll get you kids some first aid," Kamui told them and procceded to pick Izuku help.

Mina, Jirou, and Momo looked so tired. They couldn't believe that they were alive. That they had survived a villain attack or… was it a terrorist attack? All that mattered to them was that they lived through it.

All around them people were hurt but what scared them more was the corpses of the gunmen. They couldn't believe that Henry had caused this. How could one boy do all this. However, all of them realized that he wasn't just some kid. He was a soldier. A person who had seen and went through hell during the Great War.

Kirishima soon saw Henry being tended by paramedics, "Henry!"

The group of friends went towards their fallen friend leaving Kamui Woods. They crowded Henry to see that he had become unconscious and on the verge of death.

Kirishima did his best to hold his tears but began pouring out. It was shocking to the young kid to witness such a disaster and to see someone he considered a friend in such a bad state. It was disheartening.

Mina also was crying for Henry. Even if they had only met a few hours ago he found Henry to be a very cool and nice person. A new friend. The only thing she could hope for is that Henry would get the first aid he needed.

Jiro sat beside Henry massaging his hand. She hoped that by doing this it would get him to respond or make some sort of sign that he was ok. But nothing happened. All she wanted was for him to wake up and talk to her.

Finally, Momo was sobbing like crazy. She felt so powerless. Sure, she knew basic first aid thanks to her mother but Henry's wounds were severe. Something she couldn't help with. The only she could do was rub his head and whisper words in hoping that he would hear her.

All of them surrounded their friend before being pulled away by police officers and Kamui Woods.

"Hey! Stop it what are you doing!?" Mina shouted at the officers. Her and the others began pushing back making the officers to increase their force against them.

"Please stop! Let us go with him! He's, our friend!" Jirou shouted as well.

"No can-do ma'am. You and your friends will be taken the same hospital as Englander but you will be separated. He's going to the ER for his severe injuries," Kamui Woods told the kids making them visibly angered.

"Please sir, he's our friend and risked his life to save ours. The least we could do is stay by his side," Momo explained.

"Listen kid, I understand how you're feeling but the ambulance can take all of you! Now you'll just have to wait until we can get another ambulance to get here to take you. I'm sorry," Kamui Woods reiterated.

All of them felt dejected from the news. Kirishima grew irritated by it and began to push forwards again to get to the ambulance that Henry was being put in.

"Kirishima!" Mina tried to pull back her friend with the help of Jirou.

"Ok kid if you're not going to listen to me, I'm gonna have to detain you and your friends," Kamui Woods warned them before activating his quirk.

The group of kids were dumbfounded by the sudden change and began to feel afraid. That is when someone stepped in.

"That won't be necessary Mr. Woods."

The kids, Kamui Woods and the cops turned to see an older man who was accompanied by what look like JSDF soldiers with special insignias on their arms.

"Who are you sir?" Kamui Woods asked.

"Johnathan Blake, commander of the Quirk Response Force. If you don't mind the kids could come with me to the hospital?" he asked.

Kamui Woods looked back at the kids to see them with worried expressions. He understood how they felt and decided to let them go, "Ok, the kids can go with you. I assume that you'll also take the green haired kid."

Johnathan looked at the unconscious Izuku and was saddened at his state, "Yes, I'll take the kids to the hospital. My man can stay with you to help with the wounded."

"Sounds like a plan sir. Take care," Kamui Woods responded.

"You as well Mr. Woods. Squad 1 stay here and help out the heroes. Rest of you with me," Johnathan told his men.

"You heard the commander! Let's move!"

The special operators began to help the cops and Kamui Woods with the wounded. While Johnathan led the kids to his SUV. For Izuku he was put in another ambulance. The convoy proceeded out of the hot zone without a hitch but all around them people were running around trying to find loved ones or to safety. Heroes in the city began mobilizing search and rescue efforts and help first responders.

Momo looked to his friends to notice that Jirou and Mina had fallen asleep from exhaustion. Kirishima was looking out trying his best to stay strong as he saw the suffering outside. Her eyes then fell upon Johnathan who looked at her and offered a smile.

"Don't worry Miss Yaoyorozu. You and your friends will be able to stay with him when we arrive at the hospital."

"Thank you, sir. Wait…how do you know my name?" she asked.

"Well, it's my duty as the commander of the Quirk Response Force to know all sorts of people. Like you and your parents but don't worry. Your family is probably one of the best supporters of my friend."

"Oh…wait? Your friend? You mean Henry?"

"Yes. My friend Henry. He and I go way back. I'm thankful that you became his friend. When I last saw him, it was 1917 till he went missing in action. Seeing him now is like some dream to me," Johnathan said as he reminisced his time with Henry during the Great War. Momo noticed the sad look and decided to sit beside the man and pat his back.

"I'm sure he would be very happy to see you Mr. Blake. He's a very kind man and I'm grateful to have met and become his friend," she said with a blush. The older man noticed this and chuckled to himself.

"Thank you. Let's hope that the people at the hospital could save him."

Momo agreed with Johnathan. The people in the SUV kept to themselves as they made their way to the hospital.

Johnathan looked back at the bridge feeling a slight hint of fear. Reasons for this was unknown and all he could do was rub his knees to calm his nerves. He could only wonder on why those gunmen would attack one of their hidden bases.

One thing was for certain, this was not some random attack. It was a coordinated attack by someone who knew where to go.

Who knew where to hit.

Back at the collapsed bridge the special force operators began to search among the dead bodies. Identifying them as ex JSDF soldiers. Unlike the officers who were disgusted by the carnage.

For the operators it was just another day on the job. Kamui Woods followed with them and couldn't believe that a young kid would do this.

"How does a kid cause all this. How could he be so brutal," Kamui Woods said to himself as he felt discouraged by Henry's actions.

"He's a soldier."

Kamui Woods looked at one of the operators, "Kid fought in the Great War. If what I learned in history class a lot of the boys in that war had to kill just to survive. Just imagine yourself in their shoes. Sitting in some dirty trench while being shelled, shot at, gassed, you name it they been through it. I could understand why he fought with such violence. It's probably the thing help him survive."

The operator's comment shocked the hero. It made him think how different him and a kid like Henry was. He was a hero and Henry was a soldier despite being considered the first hero. Kamui Woods didn't like what had happened here, but couldn't deny the fact that Englander had save lives here. Killing was frowned upon by society and the whole world. But for situations like these, it was hard to tell.

"I'll keep that in mind," Kamui Woods responded. He and the operator kept on patrolling through the battlefield. Unknown to the hero the other operators had found what they were looking for from one of the gunmen's vehicles.

It was a suitcase and in it was some important documents.

The operators looked at each other knowing they had completed their objective. One operator pressed on his earpiece.

"Mother Hen this is Dagger-One. We found what we needed. Continuing to assist the heroes."

"This is Mother Hen, copy. Procced on sweeping the bridge for more intel. The commander wants to know if he caused it."

"Roger, Dagger-One out."

Squad 1 and Kamui Woods continued on the bridge helping civilians or providing first aid.

The city was on full alert with Heros from other cities arriving to help. Unknown to anyone, a lone man stood on top of a building with his focus on the bridge Henry and his friends was on.

This man was covering his face with bandages and in his hand was an oxygen tank on wheels. He began to look off in the distance at the hospital.

Hello!

It's been quite a long hell of a time! Your probably thought I quit this story but surprisingly I have not. My problem is just trying to sit down and type but life tends to get in the way.

Recently I've been doing better in school began looking into some universities to go to. Also been spending more time with my family. Even with the world going to shit it's best to try to make it better. Don't you guys think so? Honestly recently I've learned about the Junko Furuta case and man…it makes you lose your faith in humanity.

Now for this chapter I kind of struggled on it but pushed through. I've been mapping out how this story will go. Hoping that it would help me write this story. To be honest story writing is pretty hard at times when you have writers block.

I hope you all had a great Christmas. Spent it with my parents watching all of the die-hard movies. Love them all. Even the fifth one.

Lately I've been focusing on improving myself and getting healthier. Hell, I've been reading a lot books about history and Japanese manga.

Well, that's what I've been up to. Hope you all are doing good! Don't worry my dear readers. I'm not giving up.

Till next year my dear readers.

This is Jobro89,

Signing off!
