And once again, Harry was awoken by his fathers voice. He yelled in anger as he left the office. Peter approached him after that to ask what was wrong. Harry brought him up to speed and Peter, like the third time, asked Harry if there was something that had been done differently. That could be done differently. Harry suggested letting Miles tag along. Peter voted against that, saying it was too dangerous. Harry told him they had already not let him come along before and things didn't change what happened. Although Peter was feeling adamant about not letting Miles tag along, the look of desperation on Harry's face made him think that maybe Miles coming along could change things.

So, after going to the foundry to rescue Tombstone, they contacted Miles and asked him to meet them at the zoo in Jersey. Harry was hopeful that maybe this time, this time would be different.

But unfortunately, things weren't different. Aside from Miles's look of horror seeing his beloved mentor get stabbed and his heartbreaking cries of grief over Peter's death once it happened.
