Sakura was dressed in a beautiful red dress. She looks at her eighteen-year-old second born. She smoothed his yukata, smoothing the invisible wrinkles in the fabric. "Don't make that girl cry, Sakumo." she reminded him. "If Yuno came running to me, saying that you hurt her, I'll hit you in the head like I used to do to your Uncle Naruto."

Sakumo grinned nervously, adjusting the collar of his yukata. "Mom, I promise, I won't make Yuno cry. I really like her, and I want this date to be perfect."

Sakura chuckled, ruffling Sakumo's silver hair. "Just be yourself, Sakumo. Yuno is a sweet girl. I'm sure you two will have a great time. Especially since today is the festival. If you fumble, it's likely that she won't notice."

The young Hatake nodded, trying to hide his nervousness with a confident smile. "Thanks, Mom. I'll do my best. And don't worry, I won't mess up. Yuno is really nice, and I want to make sure she enjoys the festival."

Sakura gave him an encouraging smile. "That's the spirit. Just be respectful, listen to her, and have fun. Oh, and don't forget to bring her back home on time. I don't want Sasuke or Hanabi to come here banging my door, demanding that you marry their daughter because you brought her back home late."

Sakumo laughed nervously. "I promise, Mom. I'll make sure to bring her back home on time. No need to worry about angry uncles or fathers."

Sakura's eyes softened, and she placed a hand on Sakumo's cheek. "You better, young man. I won't let your father fight your battles. And if you bring that girl back late, Sasuke will be waiting for you on his doorstep with his Sharingan and Rinnegan glowing in the dark."

Her family and Sasuke's became cordial with each other in the earlier years, but with their kids being classmates and teammates, they learned how to forgive each other. But still, Sasuke is a tad overprotective of his kids, and with their Sakumo dating his youngest daughter, it seems like they are going to be in-laws in a few years.

"You're growing up so fast, Sakumo." Sakura commented, "I'm proud of the person you're becoming. Now, go and enjoy your date. And remember, if anything goes wrong, you can always come to me. I'll have your back."

Sakumo nodded, appreciating his mother's support. "Thanks, Mom. I'll keep that in mind. Wish me luck!"

As Sakumo prepared to leave for his date, Kakashi entered the room, clad in dark grey yukata, his mask is pooling around his neck, glanced at his son with a knowing smile. "First date nerves, huh?"

Sakumo rolled his eyes, a hint of embarrassment coloring his cheeks. "Yeah, yeah, Dad. It's not like you never had a first date."

Kakashi chuckled, recalling his own experiences. "True, true. But I wasn't a nervous wreck. You can ask your Mom."

Sakura rolled her eyes at Kakashi's antics. "To be fair, I wasn't your first date, so I won't know."

"So, Mom wasn't your first date, huh?" his own son teased him.

"I am fourteen years older than your mother, Sakumo. What do you think?" Kakashi answered him deadpanned.

Sakumo raised an eyebrow. "That's a pretty big age gap. I always wondered, did you rob the cradle, Dad?"

"Hey, Sakumo, watch your mouth. Or I'll wash it for you," Kakashi warned him. "I didn't ask her out until she's twenty and can decide on her own. And I didn't force her to go out with me. So don't call me a cradle snatcher." Then Kakashi raised an eyebrow in mock offense, feigning hurt. "And I robbed the cradle? I'll have you know, your mother is the one who swept me off my feet."

The young man cringed at the words that left his father's mouth. "You're whipped, Dad. No wonder Mom always orders you around."

Kakashi chuckled, his eye crinkling with amusement. "Well, your mom does have a way of getting what she wants. And believe me, it's not because I'm 'whipped,' as you so eloquently put it."

Sakura joined in the teasing, "Your father here was just smart enough to recognize a good thing when he saw it. Isn't that right, Kakashi?"

Kakashi sighed dramatically, placing a hand over his heart. "Ah, true love. It's a force even a ninja can't resist."

Sakumo rolled his eyes, a small smile breaking through his nervousness. "Okay, okay, I get it. You two are a match made in ninja heaven. Can I go now before I get more second-hand embarrassment?"

Sakura laughed at the banter between father and son. "Alright, you two, no need to dig into ancient history. Sakumo, have a great time on your date. And Kakashi, don't corrupt our son with your questionable sense of humor."

Kakashi gave a playful salute. "Understood, Captain."

Sakumo smiled at his parents, although he sometimes gets embarrassed by their blatant display of affection, even in front of their own kids, he is really proud of his Mom and Dad. He knows a good chuck of their history. He shook his head, causing his unruly silver lock to come tumbling down his eye, just like how Kakashi normally sport his hair. "I'll head out now. See you later."

Sakura waved him off with a smile. "Have a great time, Sakumo! And remember, just be yourself."

As Sakumo left for his date, Kakashi turned to Sakura with a playful glint in his eye. "You know, I wasn't nervous on our first date."

Sakura raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips. "Oh, really? You were the epitome of calm and collected? I seemed to remember differently."

Kakashi scratched his head sheepishly. "Okay, maybe I was a bit nervous. But can you blame me? I was taking out the most beautiful woman in the village."

Sakura chuckled, leaning against Kakashi. "Smooth recovery, Hatake. But remember how you forgot you were on a date and whipped out your Icha Icha book?"

Kakashi chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Ah, how could I forget? That's my classic Hatake move. But in my defense, it was an interesting chapter."

Sakura shook her head, laughing at the memory. "You nearly gave me an anxiety attack. I thought you were more interested in the book than our date."

Sakumo glanced at his parents, his eyes wide with disbelief. "Wait, Dad, seriously? You brought out an Icha Icha book on your first date with Mom?"

Kakashi and Sakura exchanged amused glances before bursting into laughter. Sakura nodded, confirming the story. "Oh yes, he did. It was a surprise, to say the least."

Kakashi shrugged, unapologetic. "Well, in my defense, I'm always eating out with my old team, I just forgot that it was a date, not a casual outing."

"You forgot it was a date?" Sakumo asked, his silver hair peeking out from the doorway. "Gee, Dad, I can't understand why Mom put up with you." then he murmured under his breath. "Icha Icha book during the first date. Did Mom really love Dad that much to put up with it?"

Sakumo was murmuring but with his hearing, Kakashi caught every word. "Your mother has a lot of patience. But trust me, I've learned my lessons since then. No more Icha Icha books on dates."

Sakura nodded, still chuckling. "That's right. Your dad has improved his dating etiquette over the years. Now, go and enjoy your date, Sakumo. Don't make her wait or Sasuke will have your head."

Sakumo laughed nervously. "I won't, Mom. Thanks for the advice. And Dad, I'll make sure not to bring out any Icha Icha books during my dates." He told him. "Icha Icha books during first date, if I do that, Yuno will run screaming for the hills."

Kakashi grinned, ruffling Sakumo's hair. "Smart choice, son. Now go and have a great time. And remember, if anything goes wrong, just go home to us."

"He's growing up, isn't he?" Sakura remarked, her eyes reflecting a blend of pride and nostalgia, as she watched her son leave.

Kakashi wrapped his arm around Sakura, pulling her close. "Yeah, it feels like just yesterday when we were dealing with diapers and sleepless nights. Now, he's off on his first date. Time really flies."

Sakura sighed, resting her head on Kakashi's shoulder. "Later, we will attend another wedding. Good thing Kikyo ended up with Boruto. I wouldn't have to worry about her."

"But if Boruto try something..." he let the threat hang in the air.

"He knows that. And Naruto too. I heard he gave the kid an extensive lecture about it."

Kakashi chuckled, his protective instincts kicking in. "Good. Naruto can be a formidable force when he wants to be. Our kids are lucky to have such caring uncles and aunts."

Sakura nodded in agreement. "They are. We've built a strong and supportive family. I couldn't ask for anything more."

As they stood there, watching the door where Sakumo had just exited, a sense of gratitude washed over them. From the adventures of their youth to the joys and challenges of parenthood, their journey had been filled with laughter, love, and unexpected moments. And now, as their children stepped into their own journeys, Kakashi and Sakura looked forward to the new chapters that awaited them.

"We did good, didn't we?" Kakashi mused, his gaze lingering on the door.

Sakura smiled, a softness in her eyes. "We did more than good, Kakashi. We built a family, and our kids are amazing. I wouldn't change a thing."

Kakashi pressed a gentle kiss on Sakura's forehead. "Neither would I. Now, can we head out too? I really want to check the food stalls. I heard there are some from Suna and Kiri."

Sakura chuckled, playfully nudging Kakashi. "Always thinking about food, huh? Hungry again, Kakashi?"

Kakashi grinned, feigning innocence. "What can I say? A ninja needs his strength, and the festival food is irresistible. Plus, I promised you some dango."

Sakura laughed, shaking her head. "Alright, alright. Let's go and enjoy the festival. And you better keep that promise about the dango."

Kakashi saluted playfully. "Dango it is, my dear. Lead the way."
