As they walked towards the festival grounds, hand in hand, Kakashi and Sakura embraced the simple joys of the moment. The festival lights illuminated their path, and the sounds of laughter and music filled the air. Kakashi keep his hand on her waist, at 44 years old, Sakura is still beautiful and some foreign dignitaries can't help but glance at her.

"We should have brought Mizuki with us." Kakashi muttered. Referring to their thirteen-year-old daughter.

Sakura nodded in agreement. "You're right. She would have enjoyed the festival. Next time, we'll make sure to bring her along. It's her first festival as a teenager, after all."

"Other than that, if these foreign people saw her with us, they won't look at you anymore." He murmured, jealousy laced his voice.

Sakura laughed at Kakashi's playful comment, her eyes sparkling with amusement. Out of their three children, Mizuki is the perfect blend of them. With her silvery-pink hair to her green eyes. "Well, I'm flattered that after all these years you still think someone will take me away."

Kakashi grinned, wrapping his arm around Sakura. "Why not? You're beautiful and a damn good medic! Anyone would want to be with you." He pulled her closer to him. "I have to keep an eye on you, you know. Can't let anyone steal my wife."

Sakura chuckled, leaning into Kakashi's embrace. "I'm all yours, Hatake. No one's going to take me away, okay?"

Kakashi smiled, his gaze filled with affection. "I wouldn't have it any other way. You're stuck with me, Sakura."

"I'm not stuck with you, Kakashi. I'm here because I chose to be here. You didn't force me to be here." she assured him. "Now, can you please get me my dango?"

Kakashi chuckled, giving Sakura a mock salute. "Yes, ma'am. Dango duty is in progress."

As they continued to stroll through the festival, hand in hand, Kakashi and Sakura embraced the simple pleasures of the moment. The lively atmosphere, the colorful stalls, and the aroma of festival food surrounded them. It was a reflection of the life they had built together—a life filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family.

As they approached a dango stall, Kakashi made sure to fulfill his promise. He bought a skewer of dango for Sakura, and as she enjoyed the sweet treat, they found a quiet spot to sit and savor the festival atmosphere.

Sakura sighed contentedly, leaning against Kakashi. "What will I do without you, Kakashi?" she asked, while looking at the skies. "You made my life complete."

Kakashi smiled, his eyes fixed on her. "You'll never have to find out, Sakura. We're in this together, always."

Sakura smiled and looked at him. "Always could be a very long time, Kakashi. Are up for that?"

Kakashi looked at Sakura with a soft, genuine smile. And despite his mask, he knows Sakura can see it. "Always is exactly what I signed up for, Sakura. With you, every moment feels like a gift. I wouldn't want it any other way."

Sakura's eyes reflected the depth of their shared journey, the challenges they've faced, and the love that had only grown stronger with time. "I feel the same way, Kakashi. Always, through every joy and every storm."

Kakashi nodded, his gaze never leaving Sakura's. "Always, Sakura. Through every adventure, every laugh, every tear. I'm grateful for every moment, and I look forward to every moment to come."

"I really love that, Kakashi." Sakura whispered, her heart full with emotion. "Always."

He leaned over to her and placed a masked kiss on the top of her head. "Just stay with, Sakura. I promise, I will never do anything to make you sad or regret being with me."

They sat there, enjoying the festival and the warmth of each other's company. The night sky above them was adorned with stars, painting a canvas of memories that spanned years of shared experiences. The festival continued around them, but in that moment, Kakashi and Sakura found solace in the simple act of being together.

Sakura looked up at Kakashi, her eyes filled with love and gratitude. "I know you won't, Kakashi. And I promise the same. Always, together."

They sat there, enjoying the festival, sharing dango, and basking in the warmth of their love and the memories they've built together. As the night sky lit up with fireworks, illuminating their faces with a myriad of colors, Kakashi and Sakura felt a deep sense of contentment.

"Look at the fireworks, Kakashi," Sakura said, her voice soft with awe. "It's like our life—a beautiful display of moments, each unique and precious."

Kakashi nodded, his gaze fixed on her. "Yeah. And it's beautiful." he said, tucking a stray strand of hair to the back of her ear. "You're so beautiful."

She looked at him and gave him a smile. "You're real smooth, Kakashi. but we've been married for so long, there's no need for you to compliment me like that anymore."

Kakashi chuckled, his eye crinkling with the smile hidden behind the mask. "Old habits die hard, Sakura. And you'll always be beautiful to me, whether I say it or not. You aged like a fine wine, honey."

Sakura laughed, a melodious sound that echoed through the night. "Flattery will get you everywhere, Hatake. But you're not doing too bad yourself, silver hair and all. I just wish that now that you've retired from active duty for almost a decade, that you'll show your face to the public."

Kakashi raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eye. "Are you saying my mask is getting old, Sakura?"

Sakura smirked, teasingly. "Maybe just a little. I mean, come on, even Naruto became the Hokage without wearing a mask. What's your excuse?"

Kakashi chuckled, running a hand through his silver hair. "Well, maybe I'll consider it when the village is ready for the shocking reveal of my face. It's a delicate matter, you know."

Sakura laughed, shaking her head. "Always the mysterious one, Kakashi. But you know, I've seen your face enough times to know there's nothing to be afraid of."

Kakashi sighed dramatically. "Fine, wife. I'll take the mask off, just prepare for the unending lines of fangirls. I may be old now, but I'm still handsome, you know."

Sakura chuckled, shaking her head. "To me, you're not old. At 58, you still looks like you did in your thirties, still handsome and mine. And don't worry, I can fend of fangirls off my husband's back, I just want you to learn how to live without that mask."

Kakashi grinned beneath the mask. "Deal, Sakura. Maybe it's time for the big reveal. But let's enjoy the festival for now."

As they continued to watch the fireworks, Kakashi and Sakura found themselves immersed in the beauty of the moment. The colors danced in the sky, reflecting the vibrant tapestry of their life together. Amidst the festival's hustle and bustle, they shared a quiet space where time seemed to stand still.

"I love you, Kakashi," Sakura whispered, her gaze fixed on the exploding lights.

He smirked and hooked his finger on the edge of the mask to lower it. "And I love you too, wife." Kakashi murmured to her, as he kissed her cheek.

He heard Sakura let out a surprised gasp when she felt his bare lips on her cheek. Kakashi chuckled, the sound unmuffled by the mask that now hung loosely around his neck. "There, happy now?"

Sakura grinned, genuinely pleased. She cupped his bare face on her hands. "Very happy. You should do that more often."

Kakashi chuckled, enjoying the rare moment of vulnerability. "Maybe I will, it's nice to breathe freely."

Sakura laughed, her eyes filled with affection. "You should. You're so handsome, Kakashi. I don't get why you hid your face for so long."

Kakashi shrugged, a playful glint in his eye. "Old habits die hard, Sakura. But if it makes you happy, maybe I'll consider ditching the mask more often."

Sakura smiled, content with the small victory. "I'd like that." she smiled.

As people passed them by, she can hear murmurs of appreciation for Kakashi. They actually didn't recognize him, but with his mop of silver hair and her by his side. They knew the man beside her is her husband. Her Kakashi.

"They are starting to stare, Sakura." Kakashi shifted uncomfortably beside her.

Sakura chuckled and looked at him. "Do you really want to wear the mask again?" she asked.

Kakashi glanced around at the curious onlookers and sighed. "I really enjoyed feeling the air in my face. Should I just ignore it? Or should I wear the mask again?"

"Your choice, husband. Don't make me decide for you."

Kakashi considered for a moment, then looked at Sakura with a mischievous glint in his eye. "I think I'll keep the mask off for now. Let them stare all they want. Besides, I can always put it back on if it gets too overwhelming."

Sakura laughed, enjoying Kakashi's playful spirit. "You're braver than I thought, Hatake. But I like it. Embrace the newfound freedom."

Kakashi nodded, adjusting the mask around his neck. "Freedom it is, then. Now, let's enjoy the festival without any more mysteries."

They continued to walk through the festival, hand in hand, with Kakashi's face now exposed to the world. The stares and whispers continued, but Kakashi seemed unfazed, wearing a small, genuine smile. Sakura, proud of her husband's decision, walked by his side, their connection stronger than ever.

As they walk hand-in-hand, Kakashi's eyes caught something from one of the stalls. "Come here, wife."

Sakura followed Kakashi to the stall, intrigued by what had caught his attention. The stall was adorned with necklaces of different colors.

Kakashi picked up a necklace with a delicate diamond pendant. He examined it for a moment before turning to Sakura with a grin. "How about a little festival souvenir?" he asked her. "This would look good on you."

"Oh, that is a good one." The stall owner said. "Diamonds represent purity, love, fidelity, healing, prosperity, abundance, and harmony. For your daughter, Kakashi-san?" the owner look at the couple, fully aware that the two had two daughters. One is married and one who is still a teenager.

"No." Kakashi said. "For my beautiful, loyal, and lovely wife." He smiled at her.

Sakura's eyes widened in surprise and delight. "Oh, Kakashi, you didn't have to."

Kakashi shrugged, and gently placed the necklace to her neck. "It looks good on her, right?" he asked the stall owner.

"Of course, Kakashi-san. Sakura-san is one of the prettiest women of Konoha." the owner smiled at them.

"Only the best for my wife." he planted a kiss on her head. Then he handed the payment to the owner.

Then he led the way for her, never letting go of her hand. She just laughed at the childish whims of her husband who seemed to enjoy dragging her everywhere.

"Thank you, Kakashi. It's beautiful." Sakura whispered to him as they stopped to another stall.

Kakashi grinned, his eye crinkling with happiness. "You deserve it, Sakura. Besides, it's a festival souvenir. Every time you wear it, it'll remind us of this night."

Sakura smiled, feeling a warmth in her heart. "I'll cherish it always."

Kakashi nodded to her as his eyes scanned the variety of kanzashi that the stall offers.

Sakura observed Kakashi's interest in the kanzashi, the traditional hairpins adorned with delicate designs. She couldn't help but smile at his thoughtful gesture. "Do you want to pick one for me?"

Kakashi looked at the kanzashi, considering the options. "How about this one?" he pointed to a cherry blossom-themed hairpin. "It complements the necklace, and cherry blossoms have a special meaning for us."

Sakura's eyes softened with affection. "That's perfect, Kakashi. I love it."

The stall owner, overhearing their conversation, smiled warmly. "Ah, the cherry blossoms, the symbol of love and beauty. A wonderful choice, Kakashi-san."

Kakashi paid for the kanzashi and handed it to Sakura. As she secured it in her hair, she couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the little moments they shared.

"Thank you, Kakashi. It's lovely." Sakura said, giving him a sweet smile.

Kakashi grinned, pleased with his choices. "Anything for you, Sakura. Now, let's continue exploring the festival and make more memories."

As they walked through the festival, adorned with their new souvenirs, Kakashi and Sakura cherished the simple joys of the moment. The necklace and hairpin became more than just accessories; they were symbols of love, connection, and the beautiful journey they continued to share.

The night unfolded with laughter, shared glances, and the comforting presence of each other. The festival lights continued to glow, illuminating the path of Kakashi and Sakura as they strolled through the lively atmosphere.

"Remember the first festival we attended together?" Kakashi asked, a nostalgic smile playing on his lips.

Sakura nodded, reminiscing about their early days. "How could I forget? You were still wearing that mask, and I had no idea what was behind it."

Kakashi chuckled. "Ah, the mysteries of the mask. I'm glad we've moved past that."

Sakura nudged him playfully. "You were so mysterious back then. Now, you're just a silver-haired, charming man."

Kakashi feigned offense. "Just a silver-haired man? I thought I was your silver love?"

Sakura laughed, her eyes sparkling. "You are, Kakashi. My silver man, the one I love the most."

Kakashi smiled, a warmth in his gaze. "And you're my cherry blossom, bringing beauty and joy to every moment."

They continued to walk, hand in hand, the festival unfolding around them. The night was filled with the magic of lights, laughter, and the shared history that bound them together.

"Kakashi."

"Hm?"

"I really really love you." Sakura declared.

Kakashi looked at Sakura, his eye softening with genuine affection. "And I love you, Sakura. More than words can express."

They shared a tender moment, their love resonating in the quiet exchange of glances. As they continued to explore the festival, hand in hand, Kakashi and Sakura carried with them the warmth of their shared memories, the promise of the present, and the anticipation of a future filled with more festivals, more laughter, and more love.
