Her Father Is Dead

'Hey Draco, haven't seen you in ages. What are you doing out in this mess?' as she pointed out the window to the throng of children running thru Diagon Alley. 'Most people avoid this place this time of the year.'

'Well, when you have to buy school supplies you have to be here. You?'

'Mum, may I buy this with my pocket money?' As a dark hair, dark eye little girl came running up to Hermione showing her a binder for all of her class papers.

'Are you sure you want to spend your money on that?' getting a nod from her daughter, just as a little blonde boy ran up to Draco.

'Dad, can we go look at the brooms next?'

'Have you gotten all of your supplies?' getting a nod. 'Yes, we can go in a minute, Scorpius this is an old school friend, Ms. Granger?' getting a nod from Hermione.

'Hi, Mr. Scorpius, this is my daughter Tabitha, we all call her Tabby. Tabby this is Mr. Malfoy, an old schoolmate.' Draco's eyebrow shot up.

'Why don't we go over to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor? If you two are all done with your shopping?' Draco asked.

'Yes, let me just go check out.' holding up her basket. 'We can, because I know Draco wants to catch up.' Hermione said with a grin knowing Draco's motive. They walked over and found seats outside. Draco took the orders and retrieved four bowls of ice cream.

'So where is your wife?'

'Um, Astoria passed just after giving birth to Scorp, she had some rare blood disorder.'

'Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know. I left just after the war and started living in the muggle world.' Hermione looked embarrassed.

'You didn't marry Weaslby?'

'No, Tabby's father died in the war. I was happy with just the two of us. You know Ron was never husband material.'

'What did Weaslby say?'

'They don't know. I left before I started to show.' Hermione looked ashamed.

'So, if he had lived would you have married him?'

'I don't know, not sure it would have worked out. It was a … out of need, not love moment. I guess not knowing if we would still be alive tomorrow, we needed to be held, wanted, just a moment of ….' She cringed.

*flashback*

'Ms. Granger what are you doing here?' Severus snarled as he found her slinking along the edge of the Dark Forest.

'I'm scouting the area to see if we can get into the castle.'

'Why?' as he grabbed her and apparated to a nearby cave, Hermione recognized it as the one Sirius had used in the 3rd year.

'Well, I think there is something in the castle that can help us defeat Voldy.'

'Do you really think you can defeat him?'

'Yes. We are almost there. Once we find what we need the war will start.' She crossed the cave and hugged him.

'Why are you hugging me?' he snarled.

'This might be the last time I see you. We might die tomorrow.' She looked up into his eyes to see the despair in his eyes. He leaned in to kiss her.

'I hope I will not get cursed for that?' he mumbled.

'No but I need more.' as she started to undo his buttons.

'Thank you and good luck Ms. Granger, I will try to keep the students in their rooms.' As he pulled his pants up and buttoned them.

*flashback over*

'Well, it seems that our children get along so would you be against spending time together? Maybe let me take you out on a date?' Draco asked with hope.

'It does seem like they like each other.' As she looked over to see them, looking thru their books. 'And it would make it easier. But I guess it depends on Tabby liking you and Scorp liking me whether we could spend more time together?' he was handsome, it wouldn't hurt to…

'Yes, you are right, we need to think about them first. So… Scorp would you like to take Ms. Granger and Ms. Tabby out to dinner tonight?'

'Yes please, dad. Can we go to that fancy restaurant in town?' Scorp asked.

'Well, I don't know if Tabby likes seafood?' looking over to Hermione as she shook her head. 'Well then Tabby where do you want to go?' Draco asked.

'Mum, can we go to Paddies? I think Scorp would like it.'

'Um, they have never been over to our side honey, and I don't think they have had pizza before.'

'What is pizza?' Scorp asked.

'It's the best, um bread with sauce and meats, cheese and vegetables.' Tabby said with a smile on her face.

'Well, I like bread and I like meat and some vegetables, but not broccoli.' Scorp cringed.

'They don't put broccoli on pizza silly they put green peppers, onions and mushrooms. It's good, trust me?' Scorpius nodded. 'They even have apple and cherry pizza.'

'Ok so we are going to Paddies?' Draco asked Scorpius getting a nod from him. 'Well since you two have just eaten, want to meet back up here at five?'

'But dad, we will be hungry in a little bit.' Scorp pleaded.

'If we walk there, we will be hungry by then.' Tabby added. 'We can stop at the park on the way.'

'Well Tabby I'm not sure Mr. Malfoy wants to walk that far.' Hermione looked over to Draco.

'Um, a good walk will tire them out and I didn't get my run in today, so I'm up for it.' Draco said with a grin.

'You like to run?'

'Normally I run with the team but I took today off to shop.'

'Team?'

'Oh yea, I forgot you haven't been around. I'm the coach for the Wimborne Wasps.'

'Well then let's get walking.' Hermione said as she got up to clear the table.

'Thank you, Ms. Granger, for taking us to have pizza. It was really good. I hope we can go again.' Scorp said as they left Paddies'.'

'Yes, we can do that again and maybe we can do a movie first next time.' Hermione got cheers from the kids.

'What's a movie?' Scorp stopped and looked back.

'Well, you know how wizard pictures move? Well movies are a whole bunch of pictures that move.' Hermione tried to explain.

'It's like you watching those people over there, while you are inside sitting in a big room. Trust me, you will like it.' Tabby smiled. 'Can we go watch the Hulk?'

'Yea, they might like that one. We can look at the schedule when we get home.' seeing Draco's look of confusion. 'Metamorphmagus but not Metamorphmagus, it's pretty good Scorp will love it.'

'That was fun.' As Scorp did the Hulk pose. 'Can we do this again during the Christmas holidays?'

'If you want to?' both kids jumped for joy. 'But let's get the both of you off to school, are you all packed?' getting nods from both. 'Well then we will see you two tomorrow on the platform.'

'You two have a good year.' Hermione said as she hugged Tabby.

'Thank you, Mr. Malfoy, for the broom lessons.' Tabby smiled. 'Mom would never let me learn if it wasn't for you.' as Tabby hugged Draco.

'Thank you Ms. Granger I loved the pizza and the movies.' Scorpius said as he pulled himself from his dad's hug he came over and hugged Hermione. "I wish you had been my mom.' Scorp pulled away and ran to the train.

'Oh, Draco…'

'He told me last night, he has had the most fun these last four weeks. He told me he would love to have Tabby as his sister.'

'Well to be honest Tabby is in the same boat. So, what do we do now?' Hermione waved at the kids on the train.

'Well now that they are away, we can see if we could be more?' Draco said with hesitance.

'I guess we can see what happens.'

'Would you like to have lunch at the manor and before you get all… mother has totally remodeled all of the rooms. After father… she couldn't stand to look at all of the memories.'

'Yea I guess.' as they apparated to the manor.

'Oh, you're alive?' as her world went dark. Luckily Draco was right behind her and caught her as she fell.

'You were supposed to not be here.' Draco growled as he lifted Hermione and placed her on the sofa in the library.

'He's alive?' she asked Draco as she came to.

'Yes, he is.'

'You knew and didn't tell me?' as she slapped him.

'Miya I was sworn to… and I didn't want to ruin Tabby's first day. If you had known, you would have stewed on whether to tell her or not. Now you two have time to talk and make a plan and tell her during the holidays.'

'Oh, yea you might be right, but I'm still miffed at you, just so you know.' Draco grinned.

'Do you want me to go get her photo album?' Draco asked as Hermione nodded. 'I'll be right back.' as he apparated out and returned a few minutes later to hear Hermione yelling at Severus.

'Why didn't you contact me?' he shrugged. 'So, the last words I heard was a lie?' Draco cocked his head in confusion. Hermione told the story of their coupling. 'The last words he told me were that if we made it out alive, he would find me, he wanted to see If things could work out between us. He promised to find me.' she sobbed. 'So why did you not let me know? And let me decide. Would it not be my decision to back out or not?' she spun to Draco. 'And you knew he was alive and didn't tell me?'

'I was sworn to secrecy.' Draco pleaded.

'Bullshite, you could have invited me over and let me find out for myself just like today.' She snarled.

'Miya, if I had known, I would have found a way.' Draco pleaded again.

'Miya?' waiting for permission to use her nic name. 'I will tell you if I had known I would have made Sev find you.' Narcissa spoke as she scowled at Severus.

'I didn't think you would want to take care of an invalid.' as he wheeled around to look out the window.

'Even if I didn't want to, you would have still been in her life.' Hermione huffed. Severus looked confused at her words.

'Do you know what you have missed over the last 11 years?' as Draco dropped the book in his lap.

'What is this?' As he opened it, his eyes grew big. The first page was a picture of a baby and her footprints. Tabitha Severity Granger in bold letters across the top. 'I have a daughter?' He looked up to see Hermione nod. He started to study each page, 11 years of memories that he had missed out on.

'Severus even if we hadn't connected, you could have been in her life. She is smart, loves brewing potions.' She could see him wipe the tears away.

'When can I meet her.' Severus asked.

'Well, I'm not sure I want you to. Will you lie to her too? Make promises you won't keep?'

'No, I want to be in her life, I want to provide for her. I will take an oath I will not abandon you or her again.' Severus said with a sob. 'I will set up a gringotts account to pay for her schooling and all of her expenses.'

'Fine, as she won't be back until the Christmas holidays.' Hermione said. 'And I want to wait until then to tell her, I don't want her distracted from her schoolwork.' was said with authority.

'Yes, I guess that would be best.' He said looking crest fallen. 'Please tell me more about her.'

'First I want to know what happened to you.' Hermione demanded.

'Fine.' as he went into the story of his injuries. 'So, I can walk but my legs are very weak, and it is very tiring, but now that I have a reason to… I will take my physical therapy seriously now. I can't let my daughter see me like this.' He puffed up his chest. 'I will teach her everything I know, and she will be the best and youngest potion master in history.' Hermione looked up to see Narcissa standing beside him smiling.

'Oh, so that is what it takes to get you up off your arse?' Narcissa snarked with a smile on her face. 'I have been encouraging you for ages, thank you Hermione for giving him a reason to get out of that blasted chair.' She looked down to the photo album. 'Tell us about her?' As she helped Severus move to the sofa and sat next to him, Hermione sat on his other side. She pulled Draco in beside her.

'I'm sorry.' Draco whispered into her ear, she nodded her acceptance and took his hand.

'I figured out I was pregnant sometime after the war. I didn't think Harry and Ron would take it well so… I went back to my parents' house.'

'What did you tell them?' Severus asked.

'I was going to go look for them.' She went quiet.

'Did you find them? Narcissa asked, as Hermione nodded her head.

'But they had been killed in a car accident a few weeks before.' Draco pulled her into a hug, Narcissa's eyebrow shot up at the sight.

'I'm so sorry, so you did this all alone?' Narcissa frowned.

'I got lucky, I found out my neighbor Abby, was a squib, she was an absolute god send.'

'I wish we had known. We could have helped out.' as she slapped Severus. 'I will send her a thank you package.' Narcissa said with a big smile.

'Abby took these.' pictures of a very pregnant Hermione, they spent the rest of the afternoon looking at Tabby's past.

'Hermione, you might want to let Harry and Ron know you are back. This year might be safe but I think next year the Potter spawn will be going.' Draco added.

'Oh, yea that might be a good idea. I will go see them tomorrow.' A house elf popped into the room master Draco and Miss. Herm..o.. ne, has letters.' as the small elf handed the letters over.

'You can call me Miya.' As the little elf nodded and popped out of the room.

'Well, I know what house Scorp's in how about our Tabby?' Draco asked.

'Well let's see…' as she opened the letter.

Wow, it's humongous here. Hagrid took us across the lake. The great hall is enormous, the ceiling is spectacular. I'm glad I have Scorp here, we are in different houses. I'm a Gryffindor and Scorp is a Slytherin. I don't like it, but Scorp said we can still eat and study together. We get our timetables tomorrow. I hope we have some classes together. Well, I need to go to bed. Lots of love, Tabby.

'Well let's see what Scorp has to say...'

We made it. I'm in Slytherin, Tabby is in Gryffindor. I hope we have most of our classes together. Scorp.

'That's my boy straight to the point.' Draco grinned.

'Hermione would you mind if I keep this for a few days? I would like to copy it.' Severus asked.

'Of course, we will plan on her coming to the manor for Christmas so you two can meet?'

'I would love it.' Severus smiled. 'And I hope to be out of this chair so I can take her down to the labs and give her proper potion lessons, the teacher they have now is a hack.' They all giggled.

'Then you get to walking and go back to Hogwarts and give our daughter the best chance of being potion master extraordinaire.' Hermione saw the glint in his eye. 'You can do it you know.'

There was a knock at the door. Harry looked up to see Hermione standing there.

'Mione,' as he stood and rushed over to hug her. 'Where have you been? No note, just poof and you were gone.' He almost had rivaled Molly.

'I had to go find my parents and….'

'And?'

'Well, I found my parents… graves. They were in an accident a few weeks before I got there.'

'Oh, I'm so sorry but why didn't you come back home?'

'Um, something came up and I didn't know how to explain it.' as she handed Harry a picture, of her and Tabby.

'Um, she looks a lot like…' as he looked from Hermione to the picture several times.

'Yea, he is her father.' Hermione told her story. 'And he is still alive.'

'Well, there have been rumors but you know I would have understood the reason behind it and helped you raise her.'

'Yea, but Ron would have blown a gasket.'

'Yea, but you would still have had me.' Harry looked hurt.

'I'm sorry I didn't want to cause problems between you two. So, you and Ginny?'

'Um, no. I married Pansy.'

'What?' as she slapped his arm.

'Well after the war Ginny was a little too… she enjoyed the fame. I just wanted to fade into the woodwork. I met Pansy at one of the press meetings and we hit it off.'

'So, what happed to Ginny?'

'Um she married Cormack?'

'Ugg, why? He was such a …'

'Well, when you get knocked up.' Harry growled.

'Oh, was she cheating on you?'

'I can't say for sure, but she came up preggos just after I broke up with her. I think she was going to try to rope me into marrying her.'

'Oh, Harry I'm so sorry. What did Molly say about all of this?'

'Well at first, she was mad at me for dumping her pregnant daughter but then when I proved it wasn't mine. She blew up on Ginny and made them get married.'

'So, what has Ron been up to?'

'Well, nothing as far as I know, we don't talk much anymore, last I heard he works for George at 3W, that is what they call it now. He was still pining for you, that you two would have been perfect together, Lavender left him because he kept bringing you up. Hermione this, Hermione that.'

'Do they have kids?'

'Luckily no, I think Lavender realized she could never compete with your memory. She married Seamus and now has two kids I think.'

'So how many do you have now?'

'Well James is ten, Sirius is seven, Lily is four and baby bean is due anytime now.'

'Oh, Harry I'm so happy for you. We will have to get them all together this Christmas.'

'Yea I would love that and you can invite Draco and Scorp over too.'

'Are you ok with that?'

'Yea… I am. I hate to say it, but he did ask about you after you left. And Pansy did mention here lately he had met a woman who he was smitten with and was fantastic with Scorp. They did come over to ours to play but for some reason they have been busy for the last month and couldn't come over and now I know why.' Harry grinned. 'I'm okay with you and Draco dating. I think you are good for each other. So here soon we need to go out for dinner.' They said their goodbyes.

'So, Harry and Pansy knew of me?'

'Well kind of, I told them I met this fantastic lady with a gorgeous daughter that Scorp and I liked very much and hoped it would grow to be so much more.'

'More, huh?' as she pulled Draco into a hug. 'So where do you see this going?'

'Um… at some point I was hoping you two would move in with us… and we become a family.'

'A family huh? Do you think Scorp and Tabby would agree?'

'I know Scorp does. He has already asked if Tabby could come live with us, since he was going to marry her someday.'

'Oh, does he now?' Hermione grinned. 'What would your father say? You're dating a mudblood and his grandson proposing marriage to a halfblood?'

'I really don't care but I hope we are the first to get married, I would hate for my son to beat me to the alter.' Draco grinned.

'Are you sure you can put up with the know it all and her know it all daughter?'

'I would love to give it a go.'

'Oi, give it a go? I'm not some ride at the carnival.'

'What's a carnival?'

'A place that has all sorts of wild rides that go around and around really fast, so you retch.'

'Oh… sounds… fun?' as he smirked.

'I will take you this next summer. But what would Severus say about his daughter and your sons' betrothal?' just as Severus limped into the library, he has been working hard on his recovery.

'Oh. Pray tell who is betrothed now?' he said as he lowered himself into a chair.

'Well Scorpius seems to think he is going to marry our daughter.' Hermione said with a grin.

'Oh, does he now? And how is he going to support my beautiful daughter?' Severus grinned.

'Well, that is a question you can ask him at Christmas.' Hermione grinned.

'I hate you.' as Tabby came in the door to the manor.

'What is all of this yelling for?' Hermione snarled. 'I thought you two were best friends?'

'We are but he is an arse.'

'Excuse me?' Hermione's eyebrow shot up.

'What he is, he let me win yesterday in our last quidditch pickup game.'

'Scorp?' Draco questioned him.

'Well, her broom isn't as good as mine and I wanted her to win.' Scorp said to his feet.

'But Scorp how far behind was she?'

'Not far.'

'Well then that means she is good and just needs a little help.'

'Well, if she had a better broom, she would be able to keep up with me. Can we get her a new broom for Christmas?' Scorp asked.

'I think that would be a great idea, maybe the same as yours so you two are even matched?' Draco grinned that his son was thoughtful of his best friend. 'Well son it is not the best idea to let the girls win, make them work for it.' Draco asked. 'Offer help but let them decide if they want or need it.'

'Yea, that sounds about right.' Scorp smiled.

'Ok so are we sorted? Scorp you are not to let her win, Tabby you will ask for help if you need it?' both kids nodded at Hermione. 'Good now I need to call a family meeting. Tabby, we need to talk.'

'Did I do something wrong?'

'Oh no, you are just fine, just I have some news for you. Um, do you think Scorp should come too?' Hermione looked to Draco, as he shrugged.

'That is up to you, you know Tabby is going to tell him anyways.'

'Yea, so Scorp will you join us.' Scorp nodded.

'Um, where do I start, you know I told you your father was dead, but I have just found out he is alive. He was injured and wasn't sure I wanted to care for him.'

'But you take in the sick and injured animals, so why wouldn't you take him in?' Tabby asked.

'Well…' Hermione was interrupted.

'I am an ignorant fool of a man.' as Severus came out of the stacks. 'Let me introduce myself, I am your father Severus Tobias Snape, Potion Master.' He reached for her hand and placed a kiss on it. 'I made a big mistake 12 years ago. I should have taken the time to find your mother not just because of you but because she actually cared for me. I missed out on a fabulous woman and missed out on the one person who should have been my top priority… you. I hope I can make it up to you.'

'So, you lied to her?' Tabby stepped forward so they were toe to toe. She looked him dead in his eyes. 'You promised to find her and didn't? So, are you going to say you want to be in my life and then go off and live your own life, when you find out I'm just like my mom? A know it all.'

'Oh crap, she is your daughter.' Draco whispered into Hermione's ear.

'No, she is Severus's daughter.' Hermione giggled.

'No, I promise you that I will always be in your life if you want me to. Miya said you love brewing potions.' getting a nod from both Hermione and Tabby. 'I would love to teach you everything I know so you can be the youngest and best potion master in history.'

'Promise?' with a glint in her eye.

'I Severus Snape promise to teach my daughter everything she needs to know to be the best potion master. I also promise to support her in everything she so desires.'

'Well, you better, because I learned a few good hexes this year.' Tabby said with a grin.

'As if a first year could do anything importa…' Severus was interrupted with a yelp of pain. Tabby grinned.

'Tabby, that's my granddad, you can't give him a stinging hex.' Scorp quipped.

'Well, he questioned my intelligence.' Tabby snarled.

'Oh, Sev I think your daughter has your temper.' Narcissa laughed.

'Yes, I think she does.' Severus grinned.

'Well, I guess you know not to piss her off now.' Draco smiled. 'Well, I'm hungry so let's go eat.'

'Dad, can I ask you something?' as Scorp sat next to Draco on the sofa.

'Of course, what is it?'

'Um, this showed up this year.' As he pulled his pant leg up and pulled his sock down. He had a small thin line circling his ankle.

'Oh, that could be a …' as he looked at it closer. 'Tabby, can you come here please?' She came over to see what was going on. 'Can you show me your left ankle?' Tabby looked confused but did as requested. 'Um Hermione can you come here please.' as Hermione also came over. 'I think this is a soul mark.' Both had matching marks. 'Our children are soul mates.'

'Well, you did say Scorp was going to marry her.' Hermione grinned. 'I will ask Sev to verify.'

'What am I verifying?' as he came over to see what was of interest. 'Oh… soul marks… Scorpius will be my son in law.' He looked up. 'Well then you better treat her right or I will teach her hexes you have never heard of.'

'Don't you threaten him, or I will hex you again.' Tabby looked Severus straight into his eyes. 'He treats me just fine and he already knows I will hex him if needed.' They all looked to Scorp.

'Yea, she got me with a good stinging hex for… standing in front of her at quidditch tryouts.' eyebrows rose among the group.

'Some Weasley boy said Grangers don't fly. I out flew him, and he was mad. Scorp got between us so I wouldn't punch him.'

'Tabby?' Hermione exclaimed.

'Well, if she is anything like you, he better be worried.' Draco smiled.

'What I wasn't going to fight him I was standing my ground. He wasn't going to tell me I can't do something. He's stupid anyways, Hugo is a prat.' Hermione gasped at the name.

'Does that mean something to you?' Draco asked.

'Yea, that was the name Ron wanted to use for our first child.' Hermione cringed. 'When I talked to Harry, he didn't know anything.'

'Do you know who the mother is?' Draco asked.

'No, Harry said him and Lavender broke up so… wait he was also dating Millicent on the side. Well, I guess I will be getting a letter soon.'

'Yea he'll complain your daughter bulled his son.' Draco started to laugh. 'Well, Scorp I know Tabby doesn't need your help but stand beside her and make sure she doesn't hurt him too bad.' Draco grinned.

'I do.' Scorp smiled, everybody looked between the kids.

'You do?' Hermione asked.

'Well yea, Hugo keeps trying to start something. Tabby gets the best grades and can out fly him on her worst day.' Scorp grinned.

'What does Headmistress McGonagall say?'

'That Hugo will be in the hospital or detention it's his choice.' Scorp said with a grin. 'I stand by to make sure he doesn't get hurt. But I have to say he's not too bright.'

'Well then he takes after his dad.' Draco smiled. 'Well, I sorry but I think she needs to just punch him out and maybe he will get the idea.'

'I will be speaking to him tomorrow.' Hermione huffed.

'Well, it's about time.' Ron snarled as Hermione and Draco entered the Three Broom Sticks.

'We are early so shut it, weasel.' Draco spat.

'I didn't invite you.' Ron snarled back.

'Oi, I did the inviting and I asked Draco to come.' Hermione snarled at him.

'Why do you need him? He's not Tabby's father. So, who is her father you cheating whore?'

'Ronald Weasley.' Hermione growled as a stinging hex hit him.

'Oi, I didn't deserve that.' He whined.

'Um, yes you did… I didn't cheat, unlike you… Yes, I know about Lavender and Millicent. And if you don't stop his bullying I will. I'm not sorry that your son took after you. I got very lucky that Draco took Tabby out and taught her to fly and I'm not sorry that she is way smarter than Hugo.' Just then the door flew open, and three kids stormed in.

'You little weasel I will beat you in anything you want… schoolwork or even a broom race.' Tabby snarled.

'No, you can't.' Hugo whined back, obviously a Weasley with the red hair. Unnoticed by them the kids were followed in by Severus.

'What are you doing here you greasy dungeon bat?' Ron snarled. I thought you were dead.'

'Well, I am not and I'm escorting my daughter thru Diagon Alley. Do you have a problem with that?' Severus snarled.

'You fucked him? The greasy dungeon b..' He didn't finish as Tabby sent a stinging hex his way.

'Don't insult my father, you red headed weasel.' Tabby stood tall.

'Tabby.' Hermione said trying to hide a grin.

'He's a bully just like his son and I will do it again if he insults any of my family and I will punch Hugo if he doesn't leave me alone.' She spun around to look at Hugo. 'I'm sorry I'm smarter and a better flyer than you. I don't bother you so stop bothering me.' she snarled in his face.

'So, you have both been warned. I will go to the headmistress and demand his expulsion if you do not get your son in line.' Severus growled. 'My daughter is there to learn and how can she do that if your son is always sticking his red hair in her way?'

'Fine, Hugo leave her alone. She's not good enough for you anyways. She will be just like her mother and string you along.'

'As if your red headed spawn would catch my eye. I have a soul mate and I will be marrying him when the time is right.' Tabby smiled. 'I doubt any girl in her right mind would want him.' as she cocked her head at Hugo.

'Soul mate already? Yea right.' Ron snarled.

'I have seen it myself, matching line in the same place.' Severus snarled.

'Fine, so where have you been? You left with no notice. What you just left with him?' Ron snarled.

'Ron if you just listened just once… I told you I was going to go find my parents. I left just after I found out I was pregnant. I wanted my mum to help me but… I found their graves. So, I went back home and raised my daughter. I came back just before school started and met up with Draco and Scorpius. They hit it off and became fast friends. And then Draco and I have been exploring a relationship for ourselves.'

'What not good enough for him?' Ron snarled.

'Um, no I'm not good enough for her. She deserves the best and I'm not it.' Severus grimaced. 'But at least I accept it and not spend my life comparing her to all others. I realized I screwed up and moved on and trying to be the best friend to our Miya and the best father to my daughter. What do you have? You have ruined your friendship so much I think she will be better off without you.' Severus smiled.

'I agree.' Draco smiled.

'Ron stop it if you loved me, you wouldn't have cheated on me. So please leave me be and tell your son to leave my daughter alone or I will teach her a bat bogy hex that even Mcgonagall can't undo.' Hermione snarled as Draco and Severus cringed. Ron cowered at her threat. She turned to Hugo. 'You will be snotting bat bogys for years if you bother my daughter just once do you understand me?' Hugo nodded. 'Good I'm glad we understand the situation, because I could always teach her to have them come from another place.' as she looked down to his crotch. Hugo covered his privates at the thought of his bits getting hexed. She turned. 'Ready to go home?' her lot nodded and followed her out.
