To my readers-This is a major editing overhaul for my Pokemon fanfiction. During this editing overhaul, I am renaming my OC. I will not change her Pokemon Partner, and I will not change her regional Pokemon Teams. I have decided as a writing goal to combine all of the regions together rather than writing them as individual regions. I'm still going to write Sinnoh and Unova, but at this moment, I need to finish writing certain regions like Kanto, Alola and Galar. For those of you who are going to ask me if I'm doing the Pokemon movies (you know who you are), I'm nipping that question in the bud right now. I will not be writing the movies. Why? Because it will be too much for me to do as I already have a lot on my plate as it is so stop asking me that question.

If you dont like the way I'm writing my version of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar then you dont have to read my fanfiction. You can move onto reading something else in the Pokemon universe, I'm not going to force you as readers to read my fanfiction. I'm not going to reach through my computer screen to force you to read any of my fanfiction. You as individuals chose to read my fanfiction. Happy Reading!

I DONT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC AND THE CREATION OF HER REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS. ALL REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS WILL BE POSTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAPTERS FOR MY OC.

Shoutouts:

Narrator: As our story continues, we once again find our friends traveling together on their Pokémon journey in perfect harmony.

Trixie: If you can call that harmony.

"I'm not letting either of you out of my sight, Ash and Trixie Ketchum, until you both pay for my broken bike." said Misty.

"'My bike! My bike!'" said Ash as he, Pikachu, Trixie and Meeko appeared. "That's all I ever hear from you."

"Right! And my name maybe Misty, but I'm perfectly clear about what you and your sister owe me and you both are not going to get away without paying." said Misty.

"Please make them stop." said Trixie, covering her ears.

"Maybe if you two had spent less time arguing and paid more attention to where we're going, we'd already be in Vermilion City by now." said Brock. "Come on, we're already late. We've got to start the show." Pikachu, Meeko and Trixie pop up at the bottom of the screen.

Trixie: If I have to hear the two of them argue one more time about her precious bike, I swear that I'll scream all the way there.

Pikachu, waving to the audience: Chu.

Meeko, waving to the audience: Riolu!

"I think we all need a little break." said Brock as he takes out everything from his backpack. "Why don't I just throw a little something together?"

"That's a good idea." said Trixie.

"Riolu." said Meeko.

"Ah! There's nothing as satisfying as a cup of 100% Cerulean Coffee." said Brock. "You kids are too young for this stuff but it's really quite good."

"Can I try a small sip, please?" asked Trixie.

"Alright, but just one sip." said Brock, then takes out some juice. "How about some prune juice?"

"I think I'll pass." said Ash.

"How about some herbal tea?" suggested Misty.

"That's sounds delicious." said Trixie.

"Riolu, Ri?" asked Meeko.

"You can try some, Meeko." Trixie replied as Meeko danced around her.

"You must be kidding." said Ash.

"Not so fast, Ash. I brought my official Pokémon tea set." said Brock, whipping out his tea set.

"Wow!" said Trixie as she and Meeko saw the tea set. "That kind of tea set is expensive!"

"Riol?" asked Meeko.

"More than my mom's paycheck." said Trixie.

"Now, of course, the key to good tea and coffee is good water, and I just happen to have a generous supply of sparkling, delicious Mt. Moon pure spring water." said Brock as he held out a bottle of water. "And for the special snack, I have for you some French crepes."

"(Gasps) I love French things. They are so romantic, aren't they?" asked Misty, daydreaming that she was in France. Ruining her daydream, Ash munches on something and takes a sip of his drink, causing her to hit him.

"All that crunching and slurping is ruining my romantic daydreams." said Misty.

"Ah, by the way." said Brock.

"Huh?"

"I can't cook crepes and I can't boil water if I don't have any fire!" said Brock as he and Trixie had cooking utensils in their hands. "One of you is going to have to go into the forest and carry back some firewood."

"That's an excellent idea, Brock, and I'm willing to sacrifice the excitement of searching for firewood to stay here and keep you and Trixie company." said Misty.

"Well, I guess that means…." said Brock.

"Yeah, I'm going. Uh!" said Ash.

"Don't worry, Ash." said Trixie. "I'll make you and Pikachu some crepes when you get back."

"Thanks sis." said Ash as he goes off into the forest and looks for firewood. "Here firewood. Here firewood. No firewood here, Pikachu. Why do I have to do all the dirty…?"

"Pika, pi. Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"Hm." said Ash and looks in the direction of where Pikachu was pointing. "Hey, look it's a fire."

As they got closer, it turned out not to be the fire that Ash was hoping for. "All right, what's the name of this one?" asked a boy and showed a flashcard to the boy on the treadmill.

"Is it a Zubat?" asked the boy on the treadmill.

"Listen, just because its foggy out here doesn't mean your brain has to be in a fog." said another boy.

"It's a Pidgey." said the young boy.

"Nice guess. You just got lucky." said the first boy.

"Okay, now tell us what its special attack is." said the second boy.

"Pidgey's attack is Gust." said the young boy on the treadmill. "At level 5, Sand Attack. At level 12…"

"Everybody knows that." said the first boy. "Now can you just tell me at which level Pidgey evolves and what's the name of Pidgey's advanced stage?"

"Um…" panted the young boy.

"You better come up with the answer quick or you'll just have to run faster." said the second boy. The young boy didn't answer as he continues to run on the treadmill before he falls to the ground.

"I'm sorry. I forgot." said the young boy, causing the other boys to sigh.

"You forgot. Huh, and you call yourself a Pokémon Tech student." said the first boy, glaring at the young boy. "Well, we don't want to study with the likes of you."

"I'm sorry." the young boy tells him.

"Hey, leave that kid alone. What's going on here?" shouted Ash as he runs up to them.

"There's nothing going on here. Mind your own business." the first boy said calmly. "This is a private training session."

"There's no room in our Pokémon school for losers who don't even know Pidgey's evolved stage." said the second boy. "We have to maintain standards."

"I don't know about this school of yours," said Ash as he helps the young boy up. "but if it's turning out students like you, I'd have to say the standards are pretty low."

"That's right, Ash. You tell them." said Misty as she, Trixie and Meeko appeared behind him.

"Misty? Trixie?" said Ash.

"You better stop bullying that kid or you'll have to answer to us, right, Ash?" asked Misty.

"Misty, you and Trixie stay out of this." said Ash. "Leave it to me."

"You're right, Ash. There's no reason for us to get into a fight." said Misty.

"Okay, Ash. Whatever you say." said Trixie.

"It's very brave of you to take on all five by yourself." Misty added, causing Ash to chuckle nervously. "We'll be here on the sidelines, cheering you on, waiting to drag your carcass away at the end. Show them you're a man, Ash."

"We don't fight." said the first boy.

"Fighting is for caveman. This isn't the stone age, you know." said the second boy.

"And if we wasted our time having a fight with a little insect like you, it'd just make Pokémon Tech look really bad." said the third boy.

"We'll see you back at the Tech, Joe." said the second boy.

"Okay." said Joe and the older boys left.

"Hey, maybe you cowards are just afraid to fight someone like me." Ash shouted to their retreating backs.

"The only thing we're afraid of is how badly we'd beat a little punk like you." said the first boy, chuckling.

"Who do those guys think they are?" asked Ash as Misty tries to keep an angry Trixie from beating up the bullies.

"So those are the infamous Tech students." said Brock.

"Tech students?" asked Ash.

"Pokémon Tech." said Misty. "I think it's short for Pokémon Technical, a school for Pokémon Trainers. I know I had a flier here somewhere. Yeah here it is."

Misty then takes out a flier from her pocket. "A Pokémon school in the middle of nowhere?" asked Ash, taking a closer look at the flier. Brock takes the flier from Misty as Pikachu and Meeko took a look at the treadmill.

"Ri?" Meeko asked, curiously as she pokes the treadmill. "Riolu?"

"Hm, let's see what it says here about the place." said Brock. "'Pokémon Technical Institute. A boarding school for serious Pokémon trainer preparation.'"

Pikachu and Meeko were on the treadmill when Pikachu started pressing buttons. "'All students guaranteed to enter the Pokémon league upon graduation.'" Brock read the flier. The treadmill starts to shake and move, letting both Pokémon use it.

"What are you two doing." whispered Trixie watching the two Pokémon as Brock continued.

"Riolu." said Meeko as she and Pikachu jogged.

"'Pokémon Technical is the educational facility for exceptional students who want to become Pokémon trainers in a very short time without having to travel on difficult badge collecting journeys.'" Brock read as he leans down on the treadmill and accidentally pressed a button to speed up.

"Uh…Brock." said Trixie as Pikachu and Meeko picked up their pace but soon fall back when they couldn't. Pikachu hits the ground as Meeko lands on top of him.

"Oh, so that's the story." said Brock once he looked up from the flier.

"Getting into the Pokémon league without badges is too easy." said Ash.

"Yeah." said Trixie, helping Meeko up. "What's the point of going to a technical school just so that you can enter league? Where's the fun in that?"

"Wait, there's more." said Brock, looking back at the flier just as Pikachu was about to hit the treadmill with his foot. "'Students entrance fees and tuition are in keeping with the highest standards set by Pokémon Technical.'"

"Oh Pikachu." said Trixie as she picks up the mouse who was about to kick the treadmill. "You could have broken a bone in your foot if you kicked that thing."

"Pika." said Pikachu, apologizing.

"Don't even think about kicking either, Meeko." Trixie tells her.

"Riolu." she said, nodding.

"I don't want either of you in a cast because you both kicked that thing." Trixie tells them as she points to the treadmill.

"You know what that means, don't you?" Misty asked Ash. "It's one of those snobby private schools only millionaires' kids can go to."

"Oh, that really makes me mad." said Ash. "Where is this place, anyway?"

"It's right over there." said Joe, pointing in the direction of the school.

"Huh?" said Ash and Trixie.

"Today's special class, fog battle techniques, is now ended." said a woman's voice on the speakers. "Tomorrow's lesson will be snow competition secrets."

"I wonder if they do scholarships." said Trixie.

"Why would you want to know that?" asked Misty.

"For Ash. Maybe he'll learn something if he goes here." she replied and both girls looked over at him. Joe sighs with his head hanging down.

"Oh well. I guess tomorrow they'll make me into a snowman again." said Joe.

"Do they treat you like that all the time?" asked Ash.

"My friends are just trying to help me." Joe said.

"You call them friends?" asked Ash.

"Sounds like they aren't your friends to me." said Trixie.

"Huh?" said Joe.

"If they really and truly are your friends, then they shouldn't be acting like that to other people." said Trixie.

"My sister's right." said Ash.

"She's your sister?" asked Joe and Ash nodded.

"With friends like that, who needs enemies?" asked Brock.

"But they helped me learn that Pidgey evolves to Pidgeotto at level 18, it learns Whirlwind at level 21, Wing attack at level 31, and that as its level rises, it learns various tricks." explained Joe. "After evolving to Pidgeot, it can fly at 1200 meters and speeds of up to Mach 2."

"I don't get it." said Ash. "If you knew everything about Pidgey, why didn't you answer them before?"

"Sometimes I make believe that I don't know all of the answers, because if I do, they make the questions that much harder." Joe tells him. "But I have to stay here at Pokémon Tech. My mother and father worked hard and saved money, so they could pay to send me to school here. You see that guy over there? He's an upperclassman. The classes are so hard here, some students are held back for many years. Everybody's too ashamed to go home without getting a diploma. That guy, he's in the beginner's class with me."

"You're a beginner?" asked Ash.

"Beginners have the same qualifications as someone with two badges, the intermediate class has the qualifications of four, and advanced students have the same as six." Joe explained. "If you graduate, you can enter the Pokémon league without travelling around to collect the badges. That guy's a beginner, but he's so much older than everybody in the class, the kids don't bother to help him like they help me."

"I'm never going to school here." said Trixie.

"I don't blame you." said Ash.

"What do the teachers say about that kind of help?" asked Misty.

"They don't even know about it or if they do, they pretend not to." he tells her.

"Well, I for one think this is a violation of students' rights that must stop immediately, if not sooner." said Ash, crossing his arms. "I want to meet the student in charge of this system and I'll see that it stops."

"Mm, here's a picture." said Joe, pulling out a picture from his uniform causing all four to gasp.

"It's a girl?" asked Misty and Trixie.

"Oh yeah, you're right about that." said Ash as a blush creeps up on his and Brock's faces.

"She can violate my rights if…" said Brock but was interrupted.

"Hey! If she's making your life so miserable, how come you're carrying her picture around?" asked Misty.

"I hate the way she treats us, but I like the way she looks." said Joe.

"Now that's just creepy." said Trixie as Meeko shakes her head.

"Olu." added Meeko.

"Yeah, not like some other girls who treat you bad and look even worse." said Ash.

"While you two are slobbering over that dopey picture, I'm going to find this little witch and straighten her out." said Misty.

"You just had to say it, didn't you? Now Misty's on a warpath." said Trixie as Misty stomps her way over towards the school. "Good job, Ash! You idiot!"

"Olu." said Meeko.

"Miss top student. What's so great about her?" Misty said, grumbling to herself.

"Hey, Misty, wait." Ash called after her.

Far from the school, Team Rocket was spying through their binoculars. "That place brings back memories, James." said Jessie.

"It certainly does, Jessie, and all of them awful." James replied.

"Tell me your tale of failure again." said Meowth.

"We studied for the big test." said Jessie.

"So sure we would beat all the rest." said James.

"And here's the part I like the best." Meowth added.

"We frolicked that night, for our future seemed bright." said Jessie.

"But things weren't right." said James.

"We got the lowest scores in the history of the school." they both said in unison, holding each other's hands.

"You should look on the bright side." Meowth tells them.

"What's the bright side?" they asked.

"At least you guys were the top of the bottom." said Meowth as he wore a trench coat and hat.

"You're the tops, Meowth. Such a kind little Pokémon. Ooh, ooh." they said to the cat.

"These two are worse off than I thought. I liked it better when they were nasty." thought Meowth. Inside the school, Joe takes the others to a room filled with computer simulators.

"Giselle always practices here by herself." said Joe. "Even if you beat her in a fight, it won't matter to her. At the Tech, it's your skill as a Pokémon trainer….that counts more than winning in any one battle."

"That's what I'm hoping because I've got two badges." said Ash as he shows Joe the badges.

"But Giselle is the top beginner here at the tech." said Joe, shrugging. "That's better than even having three badges. Even though I'm at the bottom of my class, I'm still more powerful than someone with two badges."

"What did you say?" asked Trixie, balling up her fists.

"Uh-oh." said Brock.

"Better get a hold of her before she gets angry." said Misty.

"I'm still powerful than someone with two badges." Joe repeated himself.

"No, you're not, Mister!" shouted Trixie as Misty, Brock and Ash held her back. "I bet you never been in a real Pokémon battle. I will battle you if I have to."

"Argh. Hold on a second here." Misty said, letting go of Trixie. "I learned how to be a Pokémon Trainer at the Cerulean city gym. Are you saying you can beat me?"

"Oh, Cerulean City. Water Pokémon." said Joe as he sits down at a nearby simulator.

"How'd you know?" she asked.

"I always beat them on the simulator. See?" said Joe as a grass type Pokémon beats Starmie in a simulation.

"What is this?" demanded Misty. "A simulation's one thing but this is real life. Let's battle."

"You'll be sorry." said Joe.

"Oh, he's asking for it now." said Trixie. "Get him, Misty!" Outside of the classroom, Team Rocket spied through the window with a set of binoculars. "What do you two have to battle for?" asked Ash.

"Butt out, Ash." said Misty. "I have the Cerulean City gym's reputation to defend and I'm going to defend it."

"You and Pikachu would do the same thing for me and Meeko, Ash if he was talking about Pallet." said Trixie.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"Riolu." said Meeko.

"Misty calls Starmie!" shouted Misty.

"Too bad your water Pokémon won't be able to beat my plant." said Joe. "All right, Weepinbell, let's go."

"Bell." said Weepinbell.

"I'll teach him about Pokémon. Starmie, go!" shouted Misty. Starmie shot a powerful water gun, knocking Weepinbell into the air.

"Huh?" said Joe, confused. "Oh, but Weepinbell is strong against water Pokémon.

"True, but then there's one thing you didn't know." said a girl behind him, causing everyone to face her. "Your opponent's from the Cerulean city gym. Her Pokémon has much more experience battling. You should have known that. You're an embarrassment to the whole school."

"But Giselle…." said Joe.

"She's really pretty, isn't she?" asked Ash, fawning over her.

"Yeah, just like a movie star." said Brock.

"They like stars, do they?" growled Misty. "I'll be glad to show them some stars."

"Give it to them good, Misty." said Trixie.

"I'm the top student in the beginning class of the most exclusive prep school in the world, Pokémon Tech." said Giselle. "It's sad that others aren't blessed with my beauty, my talent, my humble attitude. People call me a star but I'm just Giselle."

"I think she's even more conceited than we are." said Jessie.

"Yes, but she's awfully cute, isn't she?" asked James.

"Not as cute as Meowth." said Meowth, causing Jessie and James to hurt him.

"Oh, you're in the way." said Jessie.

"Stop bothering us." said James.

"Meowth!" shouted Meowth as he was punched out of the tree.

"Wanna know what else is sad?" Trixie asked Pikachu and Meeko. "That people called her a star when she really isn't one."

Giselle walks up to Joe. "I want to continue to help my classmates be the very best they can be." Giselle tells him. "To teach each other, respect each other, and insure the Pokémon of tomorrow. But you're a weakling."

"Uh."

"You'd better get stronger fast or before you know it, your fellow students will turn their backs on you for good." said an angry Giselle and walks away from Joe.

"Not so fast." said Misty. "A true friend wouldn't walk away from someone who needs their help. You may look beautiful but you remind me of an old saying about how beauty's only skin deep."

"Heh, jealousy's bot very pretty either, isn't it?" asked Giselle.

"I better do something." said Ash.

"Me too." said Trixie.

"Wise Pokémon trainers never get involved in a cat fight." said Brock.

"Huh?" said Ash.

"Against your water Pokémon, I'll choose…." said Giselle as she picks up a Pokeball. "Graveler. Go!"

"Graveler? But rock Pokémon are weak against water Pokémon." said Brock.

"But my Pokémon are at such an advanced level, they can beat water Pokémon." said Giselle. Graveler makes its first move at Starmie, who dodged the attack. Starmie used Water gun when suddenly Graveler goes into a ball and rolls against the water, hitting Starmie in its gem and knocking it out the window.

"I can't believe it." said Misty as she stares out the broken window.

"Now we're by the pool, your Pokémon's specialty." said Giselle as they were now outside. "You can use a different water Pokémon if you want."

"Oh, and I'm sure you'll choose another Pokémon that's weak against water." said Misty.

"Pokémon are only as strong as the trainer who raises them." Giselle said to her. "A Pokémon that's weaker but better-trained can still win. It depends on the trainer. I hope you're learning something from this, Joe."

"Uh."

"A Pokémon's level of training is just as important a factor as a Pokémon's type in deciding a match." she added. "A first-class Pokémon trainer can calculate that."

"Wait a minute." said Ash. "There's more to Pokémon training than calculating levels."

"Yeah." said Trixie.

"Who are you?" asked Giselle.

"I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet, and I've already got two badges." said Ash.

"I'm his sister, Trixie." said Trixie.

"Heh, in other words, you're a beginner." said Giselle, chuckling. "And how long have you two been trying to become a Pokémon trainer?"

"Um, about two months, I guess." said Ash.

"Two months and five days." said Trixie.

"(Gasps) Two whole months and five whole days and you let your Pikachu walk free?" asked Giselle, pretending to be surprised. "You haven't been able to tame them yet? Maybe your Pokémon are training you."

"Chu." said Pikachu.

"And who's this little Pokémon?" asked Giselle, looking down at Meeko.

"That's Meeko, who's a Riolu from the Sinnoh region." said Trixie.

"You've let your Riolu walk around free?" she asked.

"Actually, I let Meeko decide whether or not she wants to go into a Pokeball." said Trixie. "I'm not going to force her into one if she doesn't want to."

"Riolu." said Meeko, glaring at Giselle.

"You tell her, Trixie." said Misty.

"I don't want to train Pikachu. Pikachu's my friend, and so are Pidgeotto, Butterfree and my sister's Pokémon." said Ash.

"Is that all you have?" asked Giselle.

"Huh?" asked Ash.

"That's funny because even new Pokémon trainers usually have at least six Pokémon and you got two with only three." Giselle tells him. "He sure was lucky, wasn't he?"

"Everyone of mine and my sister's has the power of two." said Ash.

"I wonder, with two months and five days of Pokémon experience, your Pikachu should be at least at level 25. I don't know anything about your sister's Riolu due to her origins." said Giselle as Meeko jumps onto Jordan's back. "I suppose you didn't know much about Pokémon if you both picked a Pikachu and Riolu as your first Pokémon. Pikachu tend to be hard to handle. It says so in every beginner's manual."

"I've actually raised Meeko from a Pokémon egg." said Trixie.

"An egg you say? Well, then you must still be getting to know each other." Giselle said smugly as Meeko growls loudly at her. "(Gasp) you really didn't know? And you still got two badges? How funny. A Pikachu evolves into an electric Pokémon called Raichu. It gets to be 2 feet 7 inches tall. Pikachu can shock you, but otherwise, it's pretty cute, don't you think?"

"Um…" said Trixie.

"Ri…." said Meeko.

"This is going to make my head spin if she goes on like this." muttered Trixie.

"Yeah." said Ash.

"So if you don't let them evolve, they make great pets, especially for little girls but I'm sure you knew that, didn't you? Really? You didn't? And you still got two badges?" said Giselle and starts laughing.

"Knock it off!" shouted Ash and Trixie.

"Pikachu."

"Riolu."

"Let's battle." said the brother and sister.

"For your Pikachu and Riolu, this should be more than a much." said Giselle. "Cubone, go!" Out of the Pokeball came a Pokémon holding a bone and a half of a skull on its head.

"Cubone, bone, bone, bone. Cubone. Cubone." said Cubone.

"This Pikachu is my friend and its different from any other Pikachu." said Ash.

"My Meeko is the greatest friend I ever had." said Trixie, then looks at Meeko. "Bullet Punch!"

"Riol!" shouted Meeko, punching Cubone in the stomach.

"Shock attack!" shouted Ash.

"Pika!" shouted Pikachu, squeezing its cheeks.

"Cubone, bone, bone, bone, bone, bone, bone. Cubone." said Cubone as it spins its bone.

"What?" said Ash and Trixie.

"Pika? Riol?" said Pikachu and Meeko.

"Pikachu can't shock it and Meeko has no effect." said Giselle. "Cubone, start things off with your Leer Attack."

"Cu-bone!" said Cubone.

"Pika. Chu."

"Ri. Olu."

Both Pokémon swayed side to side. "Pikachu, Meeko, stare it down. Like this." said Ash, making a face the Pikachu copies.

"I wouldn't make you do it if you don't want to." Trixie told Meeko.

"Riolu!" said Meeko, heading towards Cubone.

"Don't let that Pokémon get you, Cubone." said Giselle and just then, Cubone growls ferociously at Meeko who then hides behind Pikachu, scared.

"Pika, Pikachu?" Pikachu asked.

"Riol, Riolu." said Meeko, tears forming in her eyes.

"Pikachu." Pikachu said bravely and resumes making the face from before with Meeko following.

"Cubone, Cubone." said Cubone as it and Pikachu had a standoff.

"Cubone, Bone Club now!" said Giselle and Cubone hits Pikachu on the head with its bone.

"Hey, that's not fair." said Ash.

"I'm not playing around. This isn't a staring contest." said Giselle. "This is a contest of power and skill between two Pokémon, in this case, three. Cubone, it's time for the Bonemerang now."

"Cubone, Cubone." said Cubone and throws its bone as a boomerang towards Pikachu and Meeko, knocking them out.

"Meeko!" shouted Trixie as she runs up to her Pokémon.

"Oh! Pikachu!" said Ash, then looks up at Giselle. "Throwing that bone is a cheap way to win."

"Well, that's Cubone's special attack." said Giselle. "It's authorized by the Pokémon league and it's perfectly legal."

"If I didn't know any better, I hope my next Pokémon egg doesn't hatch into a Cubone." said Trixie, holding Meeko close to her. "Because if it does, I'm disciplining it to not have an attitude."

"I agree with my sister and it's still a cheap trick." said Ash. Both Pikachu and Meeko sat up and looked up at their trainers.

"Pikachu?" asked Ash.

"Meeko?" asked Trixie.

"Cubone! Cubone!" shouted Cubone, sending another Bonemerang at Pikachu and Meeko, knocking them back.

"Oh, Pikachu! Meeko!" shouted Ash and Trixie.

"Cubone." said Cubone, catching its bone.

"Calling it a cheap trick shot simply proves your own ignorance." said Giselle.

"Ugh, hang in there, Pikachu." said Ash. "If your opponent's attack is authorized, then fighting back is too."

"You heard him, Meeko." said Trixie. "Fight back with everything you got."

"Give it your best shot, you two." said Ash. "Come on, Pikachu and Meeko."

"Bonemerang, now!" said Giselle and just as Cubone was about to throw its bone, Pikachu and Meeko charged at it. Both Pokémon jumped over the Bonemerang. Pikachu went at Cubone's head and twists the skull around. Meeko then lifts Cubone up in the air before letting go, causing it to fall on its butt.

"Huh?" said a confused Giselle.

"Go on, Pikachu." said Ash.

"Way to go, Meeko." said Trixie.

"Give it everything you got." both siblings said.

"Pika!"

"Olu!" Both Pikachu and Meeko bit down on Cubone's tail, causing Cubone to cry out in pain. Pikachu then scratches a side of Cubone while Meeko hangs onto the tail. Soon as Meeko let go, Pikachu spins the skull to the correct position, Cubone was surprised to see its bone coming back towards it.

"Cubone!" exclaimed Giselle.

"We did it!" shouted Ash as he, Trixie, Pikachu and Meeko cheered.

"Cubone." cried Cubone, waving its little arms around.

"I lost." said Giselle as she fell to her knees. "Cubone, good try. Come on back, don't cry."

"Cubone." said Cubone, still crying.

"You'll be okay now." she said, looking down at the Pokeball. "None of the textbooks ever mention a Pikachu or a Riolu winning by anything other than electricity or normal attacks."

"That was a once in a lifetime battle." said Joe.

"And don't even try to copy it." said Misty as she walks up behind Ash and Jordan. "It was just kind of a fluke."

"It was a cool fluke, wasn't it?" asked Joe.

"Plus it was my first ever battle with Meeko." said Trixie.

"Really?" asked Joe.

"Yep. I know that I want Meeko to get stronger and when she's ready, Meeko will let me know when she wants to evolve." Trixie explained.

"Riolu!" beamed Meeko and rubbed her head against Trixie's cheek.

"There's another way to win that's not in the textbooks too, isn't there, James?" asked Jessie.

"Let's show them." he replied.

"I can't believe I lost a match." said Giselle, then looks up to see mist. "Huh?"

"Oh no, it's not…" said Ash.

"Allow us to reintroduce ourselves." said Team Rocket.

"To protect the world from devastation…"

"To untie all peoples within our nation…."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love…"

"To extend our reach to the stars above…"

"Jessie."

"James."

"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light." said Jessie.

"Surrender now, or prepare to fight." said James.

"Meowth!" said Meowth as he splashes into the pool. "I love a splashy entrance."

"I've heard of Team Rocket." said Giselle. "You're the ones who got the worst grades ever on the entrance exam."

"Those two actually went to school here?" asked Trixie. "I can't believe what I'm hearing. What are the odds in that?"

"Riol, Riol." Meeko said, shocked.

"You're right, Meeko. We should ask for the school records." said Trixie.

"How about your team verses our team?" Giselle asked Team Rocket.

"Yeah. Yeah." said the boys behind her.

"The two of us against all of them?" asked a scared Jessie.

"But the rules say one on one." said James.

"Bad guys don't play by the rules. Get them!" shouted Giselle, throwing her Pokeball.

Groaning, Team Rocket starts running away. "Too many Pokéballs." said Jessie.

"From now on, we'll play by the rules." said James as they were pelted by Pokéballs.

"At least for a little while." said Meowth.

"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again." they shouted as they ran off the school property.

"Let's see if they can keep their word." said Trixie. As the sun sets, Giselle sits at the edge of the pool.

"There are some things you just can't learn in school and that's a good lesson." said Giselle.

"I'm going back home to start from scratch with my first Pokémon, just like Ash and Trixie did." said Joe. "Hey, Giselle, maybe we'll meet someday in the Pokémon league."

"I hope so." Giselle tells him. "I'll try my hardest to be a worthy opponent if we do."

"All right, if I keep your picture with me?" he asked.

"Sure. I have pictures of my friends too." said Giselle.

"Huh? Do you have mine?" Joe asked.

"We're friends now, aren't we?" asked Giselle. "Good luck, Joe."

"You too, Giselle." said Joe.

"See, why can't you and I be like that, Misty?" asked Ash.

"Huh? I'll tell you exactly why. Because he doesn't owe her a bike." Misty tells him.

"Ah!" said Ash and starts laughing.

"You're also forgetting that Joe doesn't have a sister." said Trixie as Joe and Giselle walk up to the group.

"So maybe we'll battle each other again someday." said Giselle.

"I sure hope so." said Misty.

"Me too." said Ash.

Narrator: So as Ash and his friends journey on, they take one last look at the school where they learned so much.

Trixie, holding a brochure: Yeah and do you know exactly how much this school costs if my mom sent me or Ash here?

Meeko: Riol?

Narrator: That bad?

Trixie: Yeah, no wonder his parents saved their money. It's really expensive to go here!

Meeko, looking at the brochure and sees the price: Riolu!
