The Ultimates were annoyed. They were promised a day off, but instead they were called here for a mission briefing.

"Where's Peter?", asked Nova, being the first to notice their leader isn't attending.

"Parker is enjoying his day off.", explained Nick Fury. This mission is something you will be able to do without your leader. Now, the mission relates to Iron Man, so he will explain. Stark!"

Then Iron Man came into the room. That got the team's interest. Nova didn't even bother that Peter got his day off – like promised – working with the Avengers is a big deal! The man explained, "I... have a son, an estranged son. Anthony moved in with me a while ago, but he has the habit to sneak out. I need you to spy on him and figure out what he does."

"You want us to spy on your son?", repeated White Tiger. "No wonder he is estranged."

"God, you sound like Captain America! I just want to make sure he doesn't do anything dangerous.", said Iron Man. "Just do it, it shouldn't take that long to figure out where Anthony sneaks off."

Hours later, they following Anthony Stark like a bunch of shadows. The kid did nothing interesting, let alone dangerous. This solidified Ava's belief he wanted just to be away from his father, which she understands, as Stark hired them to spy on his son.

"Man, Peter! He doesn't have to deal with this idiotic 'mission'.", muttered Sam. "New perk for team leaders, no stupid 'missions'."

"Stop being jealous of Peter.", said Danny, equally annoyed. "I feel like I waste my time on Anthony."

"Agreed.", said Luke. "Oh?"

They saw Anthony was calling someone. After that, Anthony walked to a cafe. Soon after they saw none other than Peter. Anthony greeted their leader.

Ava looked at that in disbelief. "Anthony and Peter know each other?"

"Maybe Fury changed his mind and added Peter to the mission?", guessed Danny. "But having him in civilian? No idea. Mm, I wonder if Peter is aware of who Anthony is."

"Why would you wonder that?", asked Sam.

"Haven't you listened to the briefing?", said Ava. "Besides sneaking out and ignoring Mr. Stark, Anthony tends to pretend he isn't his son."

"Oh, so he could lie to Peter about that.", said Sam. "Isn't part of that Spidey sense to detect lies?"

"No?" Ava wasn't sure. "Harry?"

"I don't know that either.", said Harry. "And no, I wasn't aware Peter knows Anthony. Albeit he did tell me he meets with some dude every few days. Looks like I figured out who."

"What? Jealous?", asked Ava mockingly.

"Nope. Just annoyed. Since he met with Anthony, Peter barely hangs out with me! Well, separately from you.", complained Harry. "Do we have to do everything as a team?"

"Guys! Look!", said Sam loudly. Their eyes returned to Anthony and Peter as they shared a kiss. "Since when is Peter gay?!"

"He's bi. Since ever.", replied Harry nonchalantly. "What? Didn't he tell you?"

"No!", answered Ava. "But he did tell you, I assume?"

"Kinda. I knew he was bi, but not that he's dating.", answered Harry, slightly annoyed.

"Are you sure you aren't jealous?", asked Danny.

"I am sure!"

"Wait, I have an idea.", said Ava. She took out a communicator and fiddled on it. "Let's hope Peter has his on him."

"Are we seriously eavesdropping on them now?", asked Harry. "Then again, Stark pays us t do this..."

Ava managed a connection. The first thing they heard was Peter asking, 'Andy, when are you going to introduce me to your parents? It is only fair now that you met my aunt.'

"Oh, fake name?", said Luke. "That is better than the dramas mom watches."

"Welp, I suppose that answers my question..."

'Anthony, are you embarrassed to introduce me to them?'

"Oh, Andy is a nickname!", realized Ava.

"How's Andy a nickname of Anthony?", asked Sam.

"The same reason why Dick is a nickname for Richard.", said Ava, "Now shut up."

'Anthony! Answer! You've been acting weird for a while now.', pointed Peter out. The team could hear how annoyed Peter was with Anthony's behavior.

Then they heard Anthony's voice, 'No, I mean, yes, well-'

'Is that so? You know, if you want to break up you can just say it.', said Peter.

'What? No! That is not what I meant!', said Anthony.

'But you said it.' They then saw Peter leaving the cafe. Anthony tried to follow him, to catch up with Peter, but Anthony fell face first. Sam laughed a bit as they saw that but Ava hit him on the head.

"Come.", said Ava. They moved down the building they were watching from and approached Anthony. "Do you need help getting up?", she asked him.

"No, but thanks, White Tiger.", answered Anthony. Ava saw he looked like a younger version of his father, albeit blond. He sighed. "Did Tony send you after me?"

"How did you..."

"This is the kind of thing he does to me!", ranted Anthony. "Now that, after I ruined my relationship because of him..."

"Calm down, he meant it well.", said Ava, "He just wants to know thatnyou're not putting yourself in danger."

"What do you mean? How did your father ruin your relationship to Peter?", chimed Sam in.

"How do you know my boyfriend's name?", asked Anthony, looking at Luke with suspicion. "Do you do your spy work that serious?"

"They know my name because I know their identities.", said Peter as he walked back to Anthony. "And now, I am not part of their mission. Heck, I wasn't even aware that you're Mr. Stark's son."

"Oh...", said Anthony as the shock set in.

"Anthony, why do you think your father is responsible for our break up?", asked Peter.

"He ruined so much in my life, I wouldn't be surprised if he ruins our relationship as well, so I tried to avoid not introducing you two. But you – understandably – interpreted that wrongly and I accidentally confirmed it.", admitted Anthony.

"Why do you say he ruined your life? Isn't it awesome to be the son of an Avenger?", asked Sam.

"It is not! It sucks! Moat people talk to me only because of him, I don't know who of my school mates is sincere! And my old friends ditched me, they thought I would turn out as arrogant as him.", complained Anthony. "He should have continued to ignore me and mom like before."

"But he wants to bond with you now.", said Luke.

"But I don't want to. I would prefer to fix my relationship to Peter.", said Anthony. He turned to Peter. "Peter, I am sorry."

"Andy, if anyone needs to apologize, it is me. I am sorry for overreacting.", answered Peter. "So, um, could we start anew?"

"Of course!", replied Anthony before hugging Peter. "I suppose I don't come around to introduce you to my father now?"

Tony Stark was so relieved when he learned that Anthony only sneaked out because of a secret boyfriend and not because of drugs or meeting the wrong crowd or something equally stupid. Even more so when he realized Anthony's boyfriend was someone he already knew. He worried for nothing! Doesn't change he felt insulted that Anthony pretended they aren't related.

When Anthony officially (re)introduced him to Peter, he joked, "So, when are you two planning to marry?"
