Hello, everybody! Welcome to my new fanfic, Watching the Circle! In this story, all of your favorite TLK and TLG characters will be brought together to watch the movies and TV show! There will be plenty of laughs along the way, so don't worry about that! Before we get going, I'll answer some quick questions. Which movies am I doing? I'll be doing Lion King 1(Animated), Lion King 2, and Lion King 1½. Will I do Lion Guard? Yes, assuming I don't run out of steam. Will I do Timon and Pumbaa? Not this time. Chapter 1: Arrival
Kion had just been crowned king of the tree of life with Rani as his queen, and everyone was celebrating. Suddenly, the ground began to rumble and shake.
"Uhh, Big B? Please tell me that's your stomach." Bunga asked. "That wasn't me, Little B. I don't know what that was." Beshte replied.
Just then, parts of the ground began to glow, and animals sank through. "AAHH! Kion!" Rani screamed as she fell through.
"Rani!" Kion exclaimed as he too fell into the light and landed on top of a large animal pile. "Ow, Tiifu, get your paw out of my stomach!" Zuri yelped. "Where are we?" Asked Madoa. While everyone was talking, someone came into the room and loudly whistled.
"Hey!" yelled the white lioness, getting everyone's attention. "Sorry about your entrance. I'm still working on that."
"Who are you and why did you bring us here?!" asked Vitani."My name's Spirit and I've brought you all here to watch your pasts. By that, I mean you're going to see some recent events and some not so recent. Now follow me, please.." Spirit explained.
They all followed her into a large grassy area where a dusty-colored male lion was setting up a computer. "What took you so long? I've just finished up in here." he exclaimed.
"It wasn't my fault the spell took a while, Dusty! Especially when transporting this many animals at once!" Spirit replied exasperatedly. "Ahem.." Timon cleared his throat.
"Oh, right. Everyone, this is my mane-for-brains brother, Dusty. Now please find a seat and make yourselves comfortable. There will be food and drinks later." She continued.
Everyone sat down on the grass and made small talk. "Now before we bring in some more friends, there are some rules here. No eating anyone, no fighting, and no funny business." Dusty explained.
"If anyone tries anything, Rafiki and Makini are free to whack them with their staffs. Speaking of which, can I borrow one for a minute?" Spirit asked. "You can take mine." Makini handed hers over.
Spirit tapped the staff on a nearby wall, opening a doorway. A huge male lion padded out followed by a lioness with dark ear rims. "Grandfather Mufasa!" Kion Exclaimed. "Hello, Kion." he replied as he and Sarabi sat down. They were followed by a lioness that looked like Nala, an elderly lioness with a mark on her head, a male lion with the lion guard mark on his shoulder, and another lion couple that looked like Rani and Baliyo.
"For everyone that doesn't know, these are Mufasa, Sarabi, Sarafina, Janna, Sahasi and Ananda. Simba's parents, Nala's mom, and Rani and Baliyo's parents and grandma." Dusty introduced the new arrivals.
Just as Spirit was closing the doorway, three more lions and a snake sped out. "Aw, shit. You four got here. I trust you all know Scar, Zira, Nuka and Ushari?" She asked.
"Unfortunately, yes." Ono answered. "Ok, now that we've got that mishap out of the way, let's begin, shall we Spirit?" said Dusty, picking up a TV remote. "I believe we shall. Now without further ado, on with the show." Spirit said and sat down beside her brother.
