Becky tilted her head to one side when she viewed the sheriff smiling and standing near the stove. She approached him with curiosity in her eyes.
The sheriff started to glance at Becky prior to a smile on his face.
''What are you making?'' Becky asked.
''Good morning. I'm making omelettes for your mother,'' the sheriff said.
''Can I help?''
''Sure. Please get a carton of eggs.''
After Becky nodded, she approached the refrigerator and opened the door. One carton was removed before the door was closed.
Becky fell.
Eggs shattered.
Becky worried.
The sheriff still smiled.
Extra eggs obtained.
