Lily walked to the swings before she heard footsteps and looked back. Scowling, she faced T.J. and Vince with their friends.
''We wanted to apologize for the bad haircut earlier,'' T.J. said after he glanced at Vince.
Lily got on one of the swings and continued to scowl. She never said anything. She remembered T.J. and Vince mentioning how she was going to look like the band members of Dog's Pajamas. Her hair just started to grow back. It was going to be some time before she had her bun back.
After friends played, Lily joined them. Apologies were accepted.
