'Do you really believe Draco has changed?' Hermione huffed as she sat at the table in Grimmauld Place kitchen.
'Yes, you spoke at his trial, did you lie about his change?' Harry questioned.
'No, I think he has changed, we have changed, the war changed all of us, but…' she drifted off.
'Why? What happened?'
'I think I screwed up Harry.'
'What did you do?' as she tossed the paper she was holding across the table. 'What is this?'
'He stopped by my office today and tried to explain it but I just exploded and…. just read it.'
Dear Hermione,
I have something to discuss with you about our future. I know during school the rumor of me having a soul mate was true and no it is not Pansy. I have known it was you since 2nd year, yes the 'know it all Gryffindor Princess' is the soulmate to the Slytherin Prince. I know this is a lot for your mind to comprehend so here is a book for you to read. I hope you will give me a chance to show you I have changed for the better. I just wondered if we could possibly go out on a date and get to know each other better.
Your soulmate,
Draco.
p.s. If you don't want to meet up just remember all of our relationships will never be truly complete.
'So you are his soulmate?' Harry questioned. 'I thought Pansy was his soulmate?'
'No I asked him that and he said it was easier to say it was her. He was trying to appease his father.'
'Oh, right, he would have disowned Draco in a blink for that.' Harry grimaced.
'Yea, he left the spell, so I could… and…'
'Draco is your soulmate.' Hermione nodded.
'Here…' as she recited the spell to Harry.
'Whoa, I don't know if I want to know.' Harry interrupted her.
'Really? You think you and Ginny are it?' Hermione asked as Harry shrugged.
'I don't know? We have been fighting a lot lately.'
'What's it gonna hurt? You'll know if you are wasting your time or not.'
'Fine what is it?' Harry huffed as Hermione started to recite the spell over. And Harry repeated it back.
'Oh…' they both gasped, as Pansy's face floated in front of Harry.
'Maybe that is why you two are always fighting.' Hermione grinned.
'Yea, but just imagine when she finds out who my soulmate really is.' Harry smirked.
'Well I know Ron is going to lose his shite.' She grinned.
'Well I guess we will have to see if they have truly changed, because we will never truly be happy with someone else.' Harry said as he sat back down.
'Yea, that is what the book said. So I guess we need to owl them and set up a date, maybe a double date?'
'Yea, sounds safe to me.'
