This is a trailer for an upcoming story I have been planning and writing for a while, but work and life have been keeping me busy, plus, what has recently happened in my hometown in Prague hampered my motivation to write. I've been working on it since October and hoped to get it done by Christmas, but, well, life, you know.

Disclaimer: I do not own Captain America.

Immediate Music – 'With Great Power' plays

Female V.O. (Mix of British and German accent): "The age of the Avengers is over."

Bucky woke up and breathed heavily, silently crying as Natasha wrapped her arms around his neck to comfort him.

Steve and Sharon were in the kitchen, eating food, even though both of them looked troubled, not sure how to adjust to the 'normal life.'

"Are you sure about this?" Sharon asked.

Sam, in his Falcon suit, was flying down the valley, dodging missiles.

Female V.O.: "Steve Rogers and the Avengers took everything from me. I'm going to take everything from them. Piece… by… piece."

Natasha and Sharon were in an alley of containers, fighting some mercs.

Natasha, Bucky and Sam were on a top of a truck, fighting some masked men, when a man dressed as Captain America and an Afro-American man in a military suit jumped into the fray to help.

"It just feels like the Flag-Smashers is another mess we've created, just like with Hydra uprising, Sokovia, Thanos… everytime we win one battle, its fallout fuels another. It's like a vicious cycle I can't escape from." Steve said, him and Sharon sitting across each other, while eating dinner.

"This isn't your or the Avengers' fault, Steve." Sharon assured, holding his hand.

"I respect what you were doing, Captain Rogers and I find it admirable. However, I have to wonder, how long can Steve Rogers stand on his feet and fight before he gives? How many battles have you won, despite the changes you've faced? Hydra. Battle of New York. The Winter Soldier. Ultron. Thanos. Now Super-Soldiers. There's only so much even you can take." Ross said, talking with Steve and Sharon in the meeting room, leaving Steve with a contemplative look on his face.

Female V.O.: "Freedom is an illusion. Compassion is weakness."

"Steve Rogers is one of a kind, is he?" Helmut Zemo said, smirking at Steve, who wasn't sure whether to be flattered or offended by Zemo.

"You remind me too much of Red Skull, even without the face." Steve sneered at the woman in front of him.

"I've transcended above Hydra's petty pursuit of power." The dark-haired woman in front of Steve sneered back, with fierce glare in her eyes. "You have no idea who I am, Captain."

Sam, Natasha, Bucky and Zemo ran down the streets of Madripoor, with hitmen and mercenaries chasing them.

Sharon was fighting the dark-haired woman in the cemetery, both of them drawing knives and trading blows, making cuts on their coats.

Female V.O.: "I'm not going to kill you. I'm going to make you wish you were dead."

In a plane, Steve and Sharon were kissing as they laid down, Steve dropping her top on the floor, while she reached for his waist and took off his shirt.

Steve sat down in the hospital corridor, sighing and leaning his head onto his hands, looking broken, while Sam placed an assuring hand on Steve's shoulder.

Sam flew above with his wings, while Natasha and Bucky were taking cover, Natasha firing with her guns and Bucky opening fire before the U.S. Agent rushed in, deflecting the bullets with his shield before he threw it at the mercenaries.

Steve was trading blows with the dark-haired woman but she was gaining an upper hand, delivering series of punches to Steve's face and chest that knocked him down, but Steve staggered on his feet, getting up, amusing the woman.

"You just don't give up, do you, Captain?" the woman smirked.

Steve just smirked as he gave her a determined look, preparing his fists. "I can do this all day."

Steve and the woman rushed at each other, each landing a punch at the other one's face.

Captain America: Soldiers of Freedom

In 2024

Hope you will enjoy this story. If things will go as planned, I will post it in January 2024, as it is almost finished. Until then, happy holidays.

As for who the woman was, you can take a guess, but for a face, imagine Lena Headey with black hair.
