'HI, guys. ' Hermione said to the two men that had just came in Feathers and Ink, as she put her finds on the counter.

'Hey Mione.' was said in unison.

'No. I will not serve you. You two are death eaters and I will not serve you.' The shopkeeper, Mr. Spangler yelled. 'Get out.'

'Excuse me? They were not and are not death eaters, Mr. Spangler. They were just stupid kids following their fathers' idealizations and you will not blame them for their fathers' mistakes.' Hermione growled at the man.

'I will not have them in my store.' He whined.

'Fine then I will not patronize your store either.' As she pushed fifty galleons worth of quills and ink back towards Mr. Spangler.

'But Mrs. Malfoy…'

'You allow me to shop here, even though I am a Malfoy but refuse service to my friends?'

'But you are one of the golden trio, I cannot refuse you.' He quivered in his shoes.

'That is stupid their coin is the same as mine… So, I will refuse my patronization of this establishment.' She snarled. 'And I will tell all of my friends to shop elsewhere.' as she turned and left the store with Greg and Vincent in her wake.

'Mione, you didn't need to do that…' Greg spoke to her back.

'Yes, I did, you only did what your father told you to do, and you were just stupid kids. Sorry but…'

'Yes, we were stupid kids, but you didn't need to put your stuff back… he's the only quill shop in Diagon Alley.' Vincent said.

'Well then, I guess we need to fix that. Do you want work?' both men nodded.

'Yes please, most won't hire us because…' Vincent spoke.

'Good give me a few days to figure things out.' As she looked around, spotting a vacant shop across from Mr. Spangler and smiled.

Lucius looked up when he heard the front door slam shut.

'Lucius, we need to talk.' He slumped in his chair trying to think what he might have done to piss his wife off.

'Do you know Mr. Spangler at the Feather and Ink refused service to Greg and Vincent because he thinks they were death eaters? Can you believe that? I want to open a store across from him and make him suffer.'

'Well then I will just buy him out.' Lucius puffed out his chest.

'No, he will suffer long and slow as his business dwindles to nothingness. There is a spot across from him can you find out who owns it so I can rent it?'

'Um, kitten you own it. I bought it years ago, it is all yours to do with as you please.' He smiled that he was not the cause of her anger.

'Can you find me a supplier of quills and ink?' Lucius nodded. 'Thank you, I need to go shopping be back later.' And she was gone as fast as she entered.

'Hey Granger, oops sorry Lady Malfoy.' Dean Thomas blushed at his mistake.

'Oh, don't worry you're not the first nor the last to call me Granger. Kind of like it once and awhile for old time's sake, so as long as it's not all of the time I'm ok with it. So, thank you for coming in to see me, I have an offer for you.' As she explained what she was up to. 'Over here… your charcoal drawing station,' showing him an easel and a table with a tin of colors. 'And over here a drawing station for pencils.' Also set up and ready to go. 'And here is my idea for the school students. Muggle kids love their binders.' As she held up a binder from her primary school days, all marked up with colors. 'Maybe you could put the students' name on it? And for extra you could draw something?' as she held up a draft for hers, her name across the top and a pegacorn (a winged unicorn) 'You can charge what you want for the extras and after they go back to school you can draw and sell your work here.' as she pointed to the bare back wall. 'And if you want to teach classes you can.' as she showed him the extra room in the back.

'Wow, this is… terrific. I would love to. All of this is mine?' As he looked over the crate of paint pens, and gel pens, holding one up.

'Yes, these are all muggle pens, these work nice on dark paper.' as she demonstrated the hot pink ink on a small black paper pad.

'Can I try this as a sample?' grabbing her artwork and a blank binder, getting a nod from Hermione. Within no time her name was across the top and a pegacorn emblazed the cover of the binder.

'Wow, that looks great, Dean.' as Lucius came in from the back. 'Kitten this was just delivered to the manor?'

'Oh yes thank you. There is no way to get muggle delivery truck here on the alley so I will have to use the manor address.' As she unshrunk the boxes and pulled out the custom-made pen sets. 'What do you think of these? as she handed Lucius the pen and a pad of paper.

'Nice, smooth writing, comfortable on the hand and no splatters. I do hope you ordered me one?' Lucius smiled as he rolled the pen between his fingers.

'Of course, dear, pick out your favorite.' As she showed him the tray, a large selection of light and dark woods, different colors red, yellow, blue and green, but his eye fell on a multiple shades of green wood caught his eye. 'I thought you would pick that one and here is the matching pencil.'

'Thank you I love it.' as he leaned down and kissed her forehead.

'Hermione, where do you want these?' Greg came out of the back room with a box of notepads.

'Over there by the pens, please.' As she turned back to Dean and Lucius, 'Those two have been absolutely the best getting this place set up.' she beamed as they looked around the shop.

'So, when do I start?' Dean asked.

'If you want to do up some sample works.' As she showed him what she had in mind to show case his work. 'You can start anytime you want. We plan to open next week, and could you plan on doing demonstrations on all of the different mediums?'

'Of course, I would love to. I will see you tomorrow?' she nodded. 'Thank you for this opportunity.' as he leaned over and kissed her cheek. He side glanced as he pulled away to make sure Lucius wasn't going to hex him, he left quickly to avoid any.

'Well kitten I think your idea was wonderful there is everything a student or executive would want. Beautiful pens sets, exotic quills.' as he brushed his finger along a pink flamingo feather, she had found the muggle version of quills, a plastic shaft with a feather with either a pen nib or a true calligraphy nib with ink cartridges. 'I think Mr. Spangler will regret his actions.' Lucius grinned.

'Welcome to The Quillery, we have every type of quill you will ever need from nice children's turkey feathers to the rare exotic albino peacock and flamingo. I have the muggle pen for those that prefer not to have to carry inkwells. We have the talented Mr. Dean Thomas, demonstrating his fine work and some of the pencils we carry. His work is for sale for those who would love to have his work hanging on your walls. Have any questions just ask.' As she started to show some students the artwork they could have placed on their binders. Dean had gone all out and filled the wall with all of the different animals and poses that could adorn the binder covers. 'Welcome Mr. Spangler, if you need any help just ask but I will warn you there are a few sons of death eaters that work here…' as she grinned and turned to help a small girl. 'Yes, dear he could make that pony purple.' As she showed the girl the blue pony on her binder, the little girl clapped at the thought.

'Well kitten today was a success. I think you will need to order more girly colors for the wives, I think we sold all of the flower ones.' as he surveyed the shelf. 'Ah you need to order more of every color as we only have a half dozen left.'

'Well, if I had known they would be that popular I would have ordered more, let me go put in another order.' as she turned to return to the office.
