Momo Yaoyorozu was spoiled at a young age. She was always polite and kept a well-mannered attitude, and her parents rewarded her for it. She could have almost anything she wanted, and she learned to try not to ask for everything she wanted and only ask for things that were her favorites that year. She owned dolls, toy cars, multiple collections of DVDs of her favorite shows, and had the most amazing parties, but something was missing in her life. She had friends, but they were mostly just her parents' children, and she didn't get along with them as much as she would like and only saw them once a month. Her parents were also very hard workers and would spend most of their time in the office, and Momo was watched by the butlers. She watched mostly romance shows, and while other kids her age were watching shows like Sailor Moon, she enjoyed the dramas and slowly began to understand them as she grew. The more she watched, the more she realized the one true thing that she wanted: a boyfriend.

The first thing she tried to do when she wanted something was ask her parents, and so when she was 10, she went down the list of the items that she wanted: "They remade Sailor Moon, and I wanna get the entire DVD set for it as it seemed like fun; also, Dragon Ball released the next season of DBS, and my classmates won't stop talking about it; I wanna have a snow day; I wanna have a boyfriend; I want a go-cart; and I want someone to help train me and my quirk so I can become a hero." Even thinking about it to this day, while the list wasn't as big as her normal Christmas list, it especially left her parents perplexed. Her parents didn't know how to respond till her mother decided to speak up as she crouched down to the level of her daughter and said the words she would never forget: "Honey, A boyfriend is something that money can't buy. We can't just find you someone to date; you gotta find that guy yourself, and for you to do that, it requires patience, finding out what you want, as well as seeing if that boy wants you. There are plenty of guys, and you will never know where or when they can find you, but it isn't something you can just buy with money. If they want money to date you, then they aren't your boyfriend; they are just using you, okay?" She isn't told this often, so when this was said to her, she nodded her head and smiled brightly as she hugged her mother before just saying, "Thank you," and walked to her room.

Those words stuck with her for the rest of her life, and while she wanted to just buy one, she realized that her parents were right, so she went out looking for one.

Elementary school wasn't a good time, as the boys in her school were icky, as she would put it so many years ago, and she doesn't even remember if she liked any boys.

Junior high school was bad for her as she felt like everyone was staring at her constantly, and all the boys and even some girls had eyes on her. She worried about her expectations for middle school and had at least one boyfriend, but quickly ended it as he tried to kiss her before the day was even over and was incredibly pushy.

A few years later, she went to Ua to make a name for herself, not mooch off her parents forever, and save people, as she always wanted to inspire others. Her favorite hero is midnight, and she kind of inspires people to be like her. The first year of UA was the most eventful she ever saw, and while it did have its downsides, like the perverts in his class and hotheads, she was happy with what she had and even became vice president, but there was this one issue: she gained a crush. The boys in her class were alright, but she took an interest in the mumbling man known as Izuku Midoriya. She seemed so out of place compared to everyone else, but she was the most heroic person she ever saw. He saved Ochako when he couldn't even control his quirk, punched a villain in the face, took down another villain to save a kid, fought the villain stain just to save Iida, and even fought Overhaul, one of the biggest villains we had ever seen, and the thing was, he didn't even seem to want all of this attention. He gave up his spot as class president to Iida just because he didn't feel right, but he also seemed overworked.

She knew the stress of wanting to be liked and prove their worth better than anyone else. He studied often, mumbling to himself, pushing his body to its limits when training, and overall working hard. When everyone moved into the dorms, he used to do the small things like cook everyone breakfast and dinner, take out the trash, fix any damage caused by missuse of quirks, and help everyone study and do anything they said without a second thought. He was kind of amazing, and she had a tiny crush on him. She helped him when possible, even when told no, and was trying to lighten the load. She wanted him to know that she could help while also studying to see if he liked her in any way. She couldn't tell, but that all changed one early morning before anyone else was awake. She couldn't sleep, and he was already downstairs studying.

That was a morning she would never forget.
