Chapter 1: Lust
Thousands of years ago in the land of Britainia there existed a group of powerful people called the Seven Deadly Sins. Who protected the land from many threats. And after their defeat of both the supreme Deity and the Demon King, the Sins all were able to live full lives. Each having children who then went on to create bloodlines that stretch on for centuries.
One of the Sins, Gowther the Goat Sin of Lust, had his own children, but not in the traditional sense. You see Gowther's a doll so he can have children naturally. However with the help of his friend Merlin he was able to make a copy of his own soul and transfer it into someone of the opposite gender and create a child out of it.
The child would be part doll and have his personality and his magical powers but would however be able to have children naturally, and as the eons passed, each generation of Gowther's line became more and more human. To the point where you couldn't tell the difference physically but could more or less tell something was up due to their personalities. One way you can tell that they're Gowther's descendants is by the red Goat shaped symbol on their chest as a birthmark.
Fast forward a few millennia and we reach Modern day Japan. But this version of the country is in a world where over 80% of the population has a super power called a quirk.
One of these people is Izuku Midoriya, a boy in junior high school who has the power of Gowther known as Invasion which allows him to read, alter, or erase the memories of others as well as trap them in a mental prison of sorts.
The young man is very aloof and has a hard time understanding social interactions, including humor, so much so that he would most likely be considered autistic.
And he also has a habit of posing and entering people's memory without permission, more so for knowledge than anything else. Which had earned him the name of the Goat Sin of lust.
As of right now the boy was walking to school and was abruptly stopped by a villain with a gigantification quirk who was attacking the street he was using to get to class. The boy looked at the scene in a curious confusion as he watched a Hero-Kamui Woods-start to attack the villain, but have a minimal effect.
Seeing this as an opportunity for knowledge of the hero, Izuku pointed his finger at the villain while making it into a finger gun and then fired a pink energy bolt barely bigger than a pencil at him.
"Rewrite Light." The boy said in a neutral tone as the attack hit the villain, zapping him with said pink energy.
"W-what's goin on?" The villain questioned as he froze.
The green haired boy's quirk took effect and then looked around in confusion, as if he didn't understand what was going on.
This distraction was all the Arbor Hero needed to unleash his special move, the laccard chain prison, which immediately immobilized the villain, allowing him to be arrested soon after.
"Interesting, it seems that my hypothesis about a lapse in memory causing a temporary bout of confusion allowed Kamui woods the time he needed. And his ultimate move was indeed very interesting, I think I better make note of it." He mused as he jotted down his notes.
He said this while writing down in a notebook he had with him, which he used to write down notes about anything he could get his hands on.
A couple hours later he arrived at class and his teacher had just asked them what they'd do for careers. Which everyone replied to by saying they wanted to be Heroes, all while showing their quirks.
This was interrupted by a student named Katsuki Bakugo (or as Izuku called him: Kacchan) who has an explosion quirk, and was also a prodigy as well as Izuku's childhood friend.
In another timeline he would have been a bully towards Izuku. Here, though, he was the one who usually kept Izuku from sifting through people's memories and helping him with certain social situations.
The two were definitely friends, but Bakugo also had a more of a big brother relationship with Izuku, since when they were little he always had to keep the boy in line.
Though since Izuku's quirk only really works on memory and the mind, Bakugo still thought Izuku was still pretty hopeless, but never really made it sound mean.
Right now though, the Pomeranian had just said that he's going to the national school, UA.
"Hey teach, don't lump me in with these rejects!" He exclaimed
The other students all started glaring at him as the teacher also asked Izuku if he was also going to UA to which the green haired boy nodded while striking an odd salute pose.
"Zing!" He exclaimed comically.
Everyone was all understandably exasperated, the boy had always done things like that all the time.
"Ha! What're you gonna do, Deku? Make villains have short term memory loss?" He asked rhetorically while letting out a laugh.
"Actually, I did that rather successfully recently." The autistic teen pointed out neutrally.
"Ha!" The explosive boy laughed, getting a cheerful smile and head tilt from the bespectacled greenette.
After this Izuku walked home alone writing down some last minute notes in his notebook, idly ticking the time by in his head like he usually would to keep his brain occupied, until he unknowingly walked underneath a rather shady looking bridge.
As he walked, he was too occupied to notice sludge rising up from a sewer cover he'd passed.
"Well look what we have here!" The sludge spoke, getting the teen's attention.
"Oh, well, isn't this just a predicament?" Izuku mused before the sludge villain grabbed him.
"Alright, you brat, stay still so I can use you as a skin suit!" The sludge based man growled as he tried to take over the teen's body.
Izuku sighed as he felt the sludge start to push itself around him. "Gattling Jack!" He coughed as he started blasting a shotgun burst of Invasion blasts at random like a machine gun, causing them to bounce off the walls and distract the villain until one of them hit–erasing his short term memory.
"Huh? Where am I? W-What am I doing?" The villain wondered, completely confused.
As soon as his grip loosened, Izuku burst free, dusting himself off before noticing that his glasses were missing–his vision being a bit blurry because of it.
"Oh no, where'd my glasses go?" He sighed, fumbling around for them.
While he was looking for his missing ocular piece, the sludge villain fumbled around in total confusion. Though as both of them moved randomly about, a loud crash of metal got their attention.
"There's no need to fear! Now that I'm here, that is!" A booming voice declared right as Izuku found his glasses..
"Hmmm?" The boy hummed as he sat up, finally putting on his glasses as his eyes refocused. "... Oh. Hello All Might." He noted, not really reacting much to the man's sudden appearance.
"You as well, young man." The No. 1 hero nodded in reply before focusing on the still fumbling sludge villain that was his quarry. "As for you… TEXAS SMASH!" He boomed before throwing a punch that dispersed the sludge villain and also knocked the autistic teen back unintentionally.
"Oof!" Izuku gasped as he fell on his rear.
"Sorry, young man. I just didn't want you to get grabbed again." The hero said as he helped the boy up.
"It's fine." The Goat Sin replied, dusting himself off, seemingly unphased.
"May I ask your name?" He asked.
"Izuku Midoriya. The Sin of Lust, the Goat Sin." The teen asked in reply as he gave the man his name, striking his signature salute pose.
The mountain of muscle noted the manner in which he spoke and acted, and after a brief search of his memories, realized that the teen in front of him was on the autism spectrum. That would explain quite a bit of his more interesting ticks.
"I'm sorry, Goat Sin?" All Might questioned.
"It's a nickname I received when I was little. A thirst and lust for all forms of knowledge is what I have." The boy explained rather frankly.
'He does look like someone who would want to learn all he can. Hm… Maybe…' He mused internally before shaking his head. "Well, be careful from now on, alright Young Midoriya?" He told the kid.
"Roger that." Izuku nodded, saluting him again. All Might then turned around and jumped to another rooftop, but Izuku noticed as he walked away that the jump caused the bottle that he gathered the sludge villain in to fall out of his pocket.
"Uh oh. Better tell him what happened." The boy said as he booked it to the building where All Might was headed.
(Later)
As the No. 1 Hero landed on his intended building and started walking toward the door, he was honestly surprised when he saw Izuku burst through the door looking a bit winded.
"A-All Might! T-Trouble! Need–hoo! Help!" The boy wheezed, not able to articulate the words he wanted to.
"Calm down, Young Midoriya, what's happened?" The man asked, but when Izuku looked at him, he soon noticed that there was steam coming off him.
"... Why are you steaming?" The boy asked, head tilted in confusion.
'Oh damn it, not now!' The man panicked internally before his whole body was covered in steam, hiding him from view. After a few moments, he was visible again, though he was as thin as Izuku himself now.
"... Well, that's rather peculiar." The green haired teen commented with a blink.
"Yeah… Guess this requires an explanation." The man sighed as he sat with Izuku on the roof and showed him an injury on his stomach. "Pretty gross, right? I got this in a fight five years ago. My respiratory system was basically destroyed and I lost my whole stomach. I'm only just now starting to recover thanks to a stomach transplant I had last year." He stated.
Izuku furrowed his brows a bit before he used his quirk to read All Might's memories and the corresponding emotions… and a single tear trickled down his cheek as he felt the sorrow that the man felt at the memory of his Mentor that kept him from dying.
"Oh…" Was all the Goat Sin could manage.
"Yeah, it's… not a fun experience." The lanky man nodded with a sigh, unaware of Izuku using his quirk on him.
"... All Might, if I may ask. Do you think I could be a Hero with a quirk like mine?" Izuku questioned, holding up a finger as a wisp of pink energy appeared on it.
"What is your quirk, young man?" The blonde asked, noting the wisp of energy.
"It is called Invasion, it allows me to read, remove, alter, or even trap someone in their own memories, or brainwash them." The autistic teen explained. "... Like I did to experience your emotions in your battle five years ago." He added.
This information caused All Might to become surprised and silent for a moment. The fact this boy had read his mind and saw his fight with his enemy five years prior left him feeling somewhat unnerved, but also interested in how the quirk was used. After a few seconds of silence, the man replied to the boy's question.
"To be honest Young man, I am not entirely sure. That quirk could be difficult if used improperly, but it could be very useful for Hero work." He replied, choosing to keep his unnerved feelings hidden.
Izuku was happy to hear this, but was also unsure.
"So What you're saying is that it's possible, but not exactly probable?" He questioned.
"I'm sorry young man, I wish I could give you a better answer." All Might told him apologetically.
Izuku seemed to nod in understanding at this, however, before anything else could be said, an explosion occurred in the distance and almost immediately–the realization of what Izuku forgot to tell All Might came rushing back to him.
"Oh, how could I forget that?!" He yelped.
"Forget what?!" The lanky hero asked, his body tense.
"The bottle holding the villain from before fell out of your pocket when you jumped!" Izuku exclaimed, causing the man to check his pockets, and sure enough, the bottle was gone.
"Damn it! How could I make a rookie mistake like that?!" He cursed.
"I apologize, I let myself lose my train of thought." The boy said, bowling his head ashamedly.
"No time for stuff like that! I need to get to the crime scene!" All Might exclaimed before he ran off, Izuku hot on his heels.
(Elsewhere)
At the blast site, the one that had gotten caught by the sludge villain was Katsuki, and in his attempts to get free, he kept sending explosions and fire all over the place–which was frankly just making things worse.
"Dammit you overgrown slimeball! Let me go!" He yelled, blasting everything even more.
Minutes later, though, both Izuku and All Might arrived on the scene. But unlike in another timeline, instead of blindly running–tAs the villain was slowly starting to return to normal he was about to attack both boys, but was blocked by none other than All Might who had pushed past his limits to save the boy, having been inspired by the boy's bravery.
hanks to his more or less emotionally aloof personality–the boy clearly strategized and not only threw his backpack to distract the villain…
But he also used his move Rewrite Light to disorientate the villain by erasing and rewriting his memory, making him let go of Bakugo briefly.
"GrrrAAHHHH!" The red eyed teen yelled as he pried himself free and blasted himself away from the villain. "Izuku?! What're you doing here?!" He questioned.
"Not the time. We should get back into the crowd, before he recovers." The boy stated. "It's the most logical course of action." He added.
"Right!" The pomeranian blonde nodded before the two got back to the crowd right as the sludge man recovered.
"Damned mental scrambling brat! I'll kill you!" He roared angrily as he was slowly starting to return to normal.
However, as he was about to attack both boys, but was blocked by none other than All Might who had pushed past his limits to save him, having been inspired by the Goat Sin's bravery.
"Thank you young man, you did well, and now I will do my very best to follow your example!" The Symbol of Peace boomed as blood spurned from his mouth as he charged up a devastating downward punch. He then raised his fist and punched down on the villain and sent it flying, scattering him everywhere.
After this both Bakugo and Izuku were praised for their quirks and the latter for his heroic actions, which the boy took in with intrigue at how he seemed to be making everyone feel, and he also seemed to come of as blunt, which made the heroes feel put off, much to Bakugo's chagrin when he had to explain what was up with his friend.
(Later)
As Izuku walked home in the sunset following the sludge villain fiasco wrapping up, he mused about what he'd seen.
As he walked home, though, All Might stopped him. He did this, because he decided to speak to him about his words from earlier that day.
"Young man, I believe I should apologize to you for what I had said earlier, my answer was far too vague, and you deserved a direct answer." He told him.
"It's fine, after all, you were only speaking logically." Izuku told him simply.
"Regardless, I know now, and I am here to tell you this answer: You can become a hero with a quirk like yours, I am fairly certain of that." The No. 1 hero told the teen firmly.
Izuku's reaction was understandably surprised, his usually expressionless face was now covered in an obvious mixture of joy and surprise.
"And as such, I deem you worthy of my power, and to become my successor, my quirk is yours to inherit." The man continued, his arms outstretched, as if for emphasis.
Izuku's expression soon changed from joy to confusion as he tilted his head to the side and looked at the Number one hero and let his words process through his brain. He adjusted his glasses as he answered.
"Forgive me for not understanding but, what do you mean by inherit?" He inquired, his head tilting to match his confusion, causing the red Goat tattoo on his chest to be visible.
Dragon Emperor0: Three down. Four to go. That's another of the Seven Deadly Sins AUs done. And this one didn't even take that long. Like… maybe half an hour at the most. That's about as long as a lemon would usually take. We made great time.
ThermalsniperN7: Yeah, that was WAY shorter than normal. It was pretty good. Anyway, as someone with ADHD, this story is one ball that's in my court. Ya see, people with autism and ADHD have similar ticks, so it's easy for us to fall under the same category for a good while.
Dragon Emperor0: Not to mention I have several cousins and friends on the spectrum, and a mom who works with kids on the spectrum. So I have plenty of IRL experience with the concept which will make writing this all the easier.
ThermalsniperN7: And it makes it more authentic, which is helped by someone on the spectrum helping out. That aside, though… Izuku x Toru Hagakure for this story? I don't think we've gone that route before.
Dragon Emperor0: I'm not sure, but I'm sure we'll figure it out as things go along. Anyway guys, see you next time.
