Mature Little Bros

Rad, Bandit, and Stripe are 15, 13, and 11 years old. One day Rad comes home feeling depressed cuz he was just rejected by a girl that he had liked for a bit. To make matters worse he was also teased about it by other classmates. He goes up to his and his brothers' bedroom and lays on his bed feeling down and soon Stripe comes in and notices him and confronts him

Stripe: Rad? Are you ok?

Rad: Hey little bro. Ya I'm fine.

Stripe: It doesn't look like it. What's the matter?

Rad: I don't wanna talk about it.

Stripe: Are you sure? I was hoping...

Rad: *fiercely* Yes Stripe I'm sure!

Stripe was taken aback by his response and was about to leave but then Rad sat up and spoke up

Rad: Wait Stripe! I'm sorry I said it like that. It's just that I'm really having a hard time right now.

Stripe: I don't like seeing you like this. I just wanted to maybe help you.

That made Rad feel good for a second and he decides to explain the situation the best he could.

Stripe: That sounds hard. Why do kids have to be so mean?

Rad: It is. I don't get it either.

Stripe goes in to hug his big brother.

Stripe: I'm sorry Rad. You don't deserve any of that. I hate seeing you upset like this.

Rad then feels a bit better and hugs him back.

Rad: Thanks Stripe. That means a lot.

Little did they know Bandit was listening in on their conversation and he walks in and sits next to Rad and hugs him too.

Bandit: I'm sorry that happened Rad. I don't like seeing you like this either. We both want to be here for you like you've always been there for us.

Rad: Thanks so much little bros. I seriously cannot imagine what I'd do without you both. You really have matured so much that you really help me feel better and I'm so proud of who you're both becoming.

Bandit: Well of course Rad. You've always been there for us and it's only fair that we return the favor and be there for you.

Stripe: Bandit's right Rad. You've always been good to us and we just want you to be happy too.

Rad: We may have had our hard times where we haven't always gotten along and we'll still have them, but we've always had more good moments than bad and always will and nothing would ever stop me from loving you 2 mates with everything in me. Come here you 2.

Rad squeezes them both in a group hug and they fall back onto the bed embracing each other. Chris and Bob also hear in on them and come in.

Bob: You furballs really make us proud.

Chris: The way you 3 are always there for each other just never fails to put a smile on our faces.

Bob: Rad just remember that you can always come to us too. We're here for all 3 of you like you're there for each other and we love you 3 with everything in us.

Rad: Thanks Mum and Dad.

Bandit: We love you both so much too.

Stripe: This might sound kinda weird but could we all have a group hug.

Bandit: I'm down.

Rad: That'd be great.

Bob: Bring it in you furballs.

All 5 of them share a group hug. Rad feeling so much better cuz of his amazing family.

Rad: I'm really feeling better now. Thank you all so much.

Chris: I really cannot believe a girl would reject you. You're so handsome and charming.

Bandit and Stripe couldn't help but chuckle at that a bit.

Rad: *embarrassed* Muuuum.

Chris: I'm just being truthful Rad. You really are so amazing along with your brothers that I don't know why she just doesn't see it.

Rad: Ok thanks.

Chris: Anyway thank you 3 for being the best gifts we can ever have and please never stop being your amazing selves.

Rad, Bandit, and Stripe: We won't Mum.
