A/N: Ok, so I kept changing the story to keep it coherent. Story inspirations from Parts of holes storyline and Mayor Fisk storyline.

Chapter 3: Assassins

-Cue Marvels Intro-

Daredevil removes his mask as he hears the election going on the crowd cheering his name Fisk.

He begins his speech "I plan to run as mayor of New York to make this city something better than it is. Something beautiful, and not someone to take it away from me or to the person I love dear most. If I'm elected mayor, I would keep this city safe from vigilantes."

The words shocked Matt as he jumps across the rooftops. He returns to his office in his normal clothes.

"Kirsten!" He shouted.

"Matt?! What's going on?!" She asks in panic.

"I need to know why? Why is Wilson Fisk running as mayor?" He asked.

-Cue Daredevil Intro-

-MURDOCK'S LAW OFFICE-

"Wilson Fisk is running for mayor. We can dig into every campaign contribution every dollar Fisk has spent." Matt explained.

"Wait, you're saying Fisk shouldn't run as mayor because he's a crime lord?" She questioned Matt with concern.

"Yes, and we need that with the law. Is it possible to get through the DA's office." Matt said.

"But how are you going to do that?" Kirsten asked curiously.

Matt has an idea, but he isn't sure whether or not it's a good one.

-NEW YORK'S DISTRICT OFFICE-

Matt enters the DA's office, but it isn't Blake Towers as Matt hears someone's else heartbeat.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for Blake Tower." Said Matt

"Oh, he isn't here today. I'm Benjamin Hochberg running as the next DA.," said Benjamin.

"Matthew Murdock, I would like to ask you about Wilson Fisk. I've known him for years. I want to build a case over election fraud." Matt explained.

"Unfortunately, Mr. Murdock, I'm not in charge of that. As a matter of fact, Wilson Fisk is building cases up against vigilantes one of his campaign promises. The vigilantes are as listed: Spider-Man, Antman, Hawkeye, the punisher." Said Benjamin.

"Daredevil." Matt mentioned.

"Him as well." Benjamin in agreement

"But the vigilantes you've named they're heroes. Well with the exception of Frank Castle, but the point still stands." Matt

"I'm sorry, but as of right now they're the bad guys."

As Matt stepped out of the DA's office, the city engulfed him. The mixture of sounds, once his guide and solace, now felt like a storm crashing upon him. Each honk, chatter, and screech collided, echoing painfully in his mind. His enhanced senses threatening to overwhelm him. A mugger, desperate and reckless, attempted to rob him. The world around him slowed, each movement of the mugger delineated, the greedy intent palpable in the air. With precision born of practiced skill, Matt redirected the threat, a swift yet controlled strike aimed not to incapacitate but to disarm. The mugger crumbled to the ground, as Matt continued to walk.

-LATER AT NIGHT-

Daredevil at a building finds himself ambushed by an assassin, likely sent by Fisk. The assailant engages in a relentless attack, pushing Daredevil to his physical limits. Despite countering the assassin's strikes and depleting his ammunition, the fight continues, leaving Daredevil exhausted and out of breath. As he prepares for a final strike, Daredevil realizes the presence of twins, each poised to attack him. With quick thinking, he prevents one of them using his baton. However, he spots the other twin armed with a sniper rifle, ready to take aim. He throws a baton at him. In a moment of resourcefulness, Daredevil seizes a dropped phone. Lucky it has a recall key.

-PENTHOUSE-

"I... I don't know what to say it seems every time I look at you my love all I see is pain in my heart. The woman I love now has cancer." Said Fisk

Fisk phones rings

"Who is this?"

"I know it's you." Said Daredevil, his tone of voice sounds angry.
