Episode 8: Dragons, Music, and Toys P1
-Sakaki's House, Paradise City-
It was a bright sunny morning in Paradise City, and over a certain House, a young couple of boys were helping themselves to a well-balanced and nutritious breakfast.
Ryuga: Mmm! This is the best food I've ever had in a long while! Thanks a lot, Mrs Sakaki!
Yuya's Mom, Yoko, is a fairly tall and youthful-looking woman of slender build with green eyes and light skin. She has long blonde hair, the front bangs being golden in color. Her hair is tied in a ponytail and sections out as spikes. Her bangs part to the right side and frame her face. She wears an aqua-colored long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans with brown low shoes. She also wears silver big-loop earrings, two golden bands on her left wrist, and a small golden necklace hanging around her neck.
Yoko: Why thank you, Ryuga. But please, call me Yoko.
Yuya: I knew you'd like my Mom's pancakes! They're the best!
Yuya said it with a stuffed mouth.
Yoko: Yuya! Don't talk with your mouth full!
Ryuga felt really blessed to be welcomed in the Sakaki's residence. They were really such kind people too, not to mention he was also in the home of his idol, Yusho Sakaki. It wasn't quite what he expected, picturing it to be a little more grand, but it was still quite homy, not to mention all the pet Dogs and Cats Yoko adopted, and they get along very well.
Yoko: I wonder what the little ones are looking at? They've been standing there looking in the air for a while…
What Yoko didn't know was that the Cats and Dogs are able to see Blue-Eyes, Red-Eyes, Bahamut, and White Night.
Blue-Eyes seemed to have a soft spot for animals, as she was hanging her tail above a Kitten, who jumped trying to grab it but Blue-Eyes raised it before the Kitten could touch it while giggling at the Kit's attempts.
Red-Eyes was having a glaring contest with a Dog that's growling at him.
Bahamut lowered himself and scratched on a puppy's chin, who was able to feel that as his tail wagged in enjoyment.
Meanwhile, White Night was keeping her distance as usual, until she noticed a few Kittens approaching her and nested themselves around her. She became flustered because of that.
Ryuga couldn't help but find this scene adorable.
Ryuga: I really can't thank you both enough for allowing me to stay here.
Yuya: Don't mention it, Ryuga!
Yoko: He's right. Any friend of Yuya is welcome here. In fact, I even allowed Sora here over every now and then for meals.
Ryuga sweatdropped when he heard that.
Ryuga: Sora comes here too…?
Yuya: He did… It was kinda annoying, showing up like that…
The phone then rang, and Yoko went to pick it up.
Yoko: Hello? This is the Sakaki Residence… Ah! Yuya is right here, please hold on a moment…
She then put it on hold.
Yoko: Yuya! It's for you!
Yuya: Really?
Yuya got off his seat and went to grab the phone. Ryuga was curious as he turned to Yoko.
Ryuga: Who was it?
Yoko: It's Nico Smiley, Yuya's Manager.
Ryuga: He has a manager!?
Ryuga was surprised that Yuya has a manager despite that he still isn't a Pro yet. Not to mention that Nico was the previous Manager of the Sledgehammer. Ryuga then noticed Yuya came as he was quickly finished with the phone.
Ryuga: Is something up?
Yuya: Actually, yes. Nico managed to arange another Duel for my friend Gong. I've decided to go to the Strong Dojo so I can give my full support to Gong!
Ryuga smiled at how close Yuya is with Gong. He also learned how they Dueled against each other with the 60% win rate on the line. Hopefully they'll both go to the Championship together.
Yuya: I wouldn't be going to You Show today, but if you'd like, I can show you the way in case you don't remember.
Ryuga: Don't worry, I know my way around this City a little, so I wouldn't have any problem reaching You Show. Just go and cheer your friend, Gong!
Yuya: Okay then… Thanks, Ryuga! I'll see you later!
With that he ran out. Ryuga then turned to Yoko.
Ryuga: Well then, I'll be heading for You Show for some Duel practice!
Yoko: Take care, sweetie!
With that, Ryuga left the Sakaki residence.
-Paradise City-
Ryuga was walking for some time, reflecting on the recent events. He finally found Yuya, yet he didn't know what to do next. He actually came here because Bahamut told him too.
Ryuga: Hey, Bahamut?
At his call the Spirit of the Platinum Dragon appeared beside him.
Ryuga: We finally met Yuya, who can use Pendulum Monsters like me, but I don't know what's next…
Bahamut remained quiet before responding to Ryuga.
Bahamut: To be honest, there are some misteries about Pendulum that we don't know. What created it, and why? Power don't just appear out of nowhwere, it must be caused by something, or someone… It turned Odd-Eyes and Yuya's other Monsters into Pendulum Monsters, and I was able to tap into that power and give it to myself and our Monster allies, even when Pendulum appeared just a few days ago.
They all recalled how Yuya's Odd-Eyes and his Monsters change during the match with the Sledgehammer, and the same thing happened to Ryuga's Monsters when Bahamut tapped into that power.
Bahamut: I thought meeting Yuya and Odd-Eyes who were the first to gain this power would clear up some things… but no luck. I still haven't found out what the power of Pendulum really is.
Bahamut turned to Ryuga, who also was deep in thought.
Bahamut: Just leave the investigation to me. Right now you should enjoy the chance that has come to you. You have friends and you'll be entering the Championship to become a Pro Duelist.
Ryuga knew Bahamut was right as coming here allowed him to meet Yuya and the others, and now he's going to compete in the Junior Arc-League Championship.
Ryuga: You're right, Bahamut. Thanks.
Ryuga continued his way towards You Show, until he heard a voice calling his name.
?: Bonjour, Ryuga.
Ryuga recognized the voice and turned around to see it was Celeste.
Ryuga: Hey there, Celeste!
Celeste: Have you been keeping out of trouble lately? (Giggles)...
Ryuga rolled his eyes at that.
Ryuga: Knock it off! I'll let you know that I have been in all sorts of trouble since yesterday! You wouldn't believe what I've been through, but it wasn't pretty.
Ryuga remembered all the moments he had to run from LID.
Ryuga: I suppose LID has been on your tail too?
Celeste: (Giggles)... I've already told you, you should be much more concerned about yourself than me.
Celeste then crossed her arms behind her back and lowered herself as she looked at Ryuga with half-lidded eyes.
Celeste: Still, I find it rather kind of you to show concern.
Ryuga blushed a little as he looked away.
Ryuga: It's only natural, you know…?
Celeste smiled at that.
Celeste: So, have you made your decision?
Ryuga: About what?
Ryuga was confused at what Celeste was asking him.
Celeste: About my offer for you to join us, silly. About my School?
She was a little disappointed that Ryuga forgot.
Celeste: The Championship is coming soon, so I figured I should ask now while it's early.
Ryuga remembered that and now he felt a little bad for what he's about to say to her.
Ryuga: About that… A few things happened yesterday, and I ended up enrolling in another Duel School here.
Celeste went silent for a moment before showing a small smile.
Celeste: I see… that's unfortunate…
Ryuga: Sorry to turn you down…
Ryuga felt bad for disappointing her.
Celeste: No worries, then again, it's still your choice in the end. Still, wouldn't you mind showing me that caught your attention?
Ryuga: I was actually heading right over there! Just to let you know, it wasn't what I expected the first time I saw it.
Celeste was confused, wondering what Ryuga meant.
Celeste got her answer once they arrived at You Show. She expected the School to possess a… stronger atmosphere.
Celeste: This is the School you decided to enroll in?... You're kidding, right?
Ryuga laughed sheepishly as he began to explain to Celeste.
Ryuga: Believe me, I held the same thought as you did once I saw it, but in truth this is the School Yuya Sakaki study.
Celeste was surprised to hear that.
Celeste: Yuya goes to this School!? Vraiment!?
Ryuga: It's not surprising since his Dad was the one who founded this School. Here they teach you to become an Entertainment Duelist, where you train how to interact with your Monster and also to capture the attention of the audience.
Ryuga scratched his cheek as an embarrassing memory came to him.
Ryuga: Honestly, my investigation of Yuya led me to this place, but since I judged its appearance it led me astray… (Laughs nervously)...
Celeste just looked on at the Duel in silence.
Ryuga: Come! I can show you the place if you want? It's the weekend so it wouldn't be any trouble.
Celeste looked back at the building before following Ryuga inside.
-Duel Arena, You Show Duel School, Paradise City-
Ryuga decided to show Celeste the Duel Arena, where he Dueled against Yuya for the first time.
Ryuga: This is the Duel Arena. Yuya and Gong Dueled a lot here during their practice match.
That caught Celeste's attention.
Celeste: You mean Gong Strong? The next in line of the Strong Dojo?
Ryuga: It surprised me too. Those two have known each other since they were kids!
At that moment, Skip came to them.
Skip: Hi there, Ryuga! What are you doing here on a weekend?
Ryuga: I came here to just hang for a while. By the way, where are Zuzu and Sora? I heard they were training here.
Skip: They decided to go somewhere else to train. They'll be coming back soon. Huh?
He then took notice of Celeste now.
Skip: And who is your friend?
Celeste then introduced herself.
Celeste: My name is Celeste Belshaw.
Ryuga then filled in for her.
Ryuga: We became friends when we first Dueled. She came here representing her School to participate in the Arc League Championship. She's a very powerful Fusion Duelist.
Celeste pouted her cheeks, feeling a little embarrassed at Ryuga describing her. But her expression changed at the first part that Ryuga said.
Celeste: (Friends? Just after one Duel, he considers me his… friend?)
Ryuga: I'm showing Celeste around the School, if you don't mind?
Skip: Not at all! It makes me happy that everyone learns about our School and Entertainment Dueling!
Celeste sweatdropped at Skip's loud statement as she whispered to Ryuga.
Celeste: He's kinda intense…
Ryuga: Zuzu will totally agree with you…
At that moment, coming to the halls, Zuzu and Sora came back from training as Sora was discussing Zuzu's progress.
Sora: You've done very well mastering Fusion Summoning. Now all that's left is seeing how you use it in an actual Duel.
Ryuga: Sora! Zuzu!
Sora and Zuzu saw that Ryuga was here.
Zuzu: Oh hey, Ryuga! What are you doing here?
Ryuga: Like I said to your Dad, I came to hang for a while.
Skip: So how did my precious little girl go with her training?
Sora was licking his lollipop as he responded the question.
Sora: Oh, she mastered Fusion Summoning thanks to yours truly.
Zuzu laughed a little at Sora's lack of modesty. It is then that Sora took notice of Celeste.
Sora: Huh? And who is this?
Ryuga: This is Celeste, and I met her a while ago. She's a powerful Duelist with a unice Fusion Summon… AUW!
Celeste elbowed Ryuga with an annoyed look.
Celeste: Don't tell others my Dueling Skills like that! Besides, I came here to see what this School is all cracked up to be. I would learn more in a Duel.
Sora had an eager look in his eyes when he heard that.
Sora: Is that so? I wouldn't mind having a Duel with you.
Then, an idea came to Sora's mind.
Sora: I know! How about we have a tag-team Duel!
That caught everyone's attention.
Zuzu: A tag-team Duel?
Sora: Yeah! Zuzu could try her Fusion Summon there, Ryuga could have more practice in Action Duels, and Celeste can have a Duel with us!
Skip: You know, I like that idea!
Ryuga turned to Celeste.
Ryuga: What do you think, Celeste?
Celeste blinked before closing her eyes.
Celeste: I normally Duel solo, but I'll make an exception.
Ryuga smiled at her, glad that she accepted.
Everyone were now standing in the Duel Arena, with Zuzu and Sora on one side while Ryuga and Celeste on the other. Skip was already in the Control Room, ready and waiting to activate the field.
Celeste: Hey, Ryuga.
Ryuga turned to Celeste, who had a serious look on her face.
Celeste: As much as I recognise you as a talented Duelist, I still consider you as a powerful ally rather than a friend. Still, I'm counting on you too, so let's give it our all in this match!
Ryuga: Celeste…
Ryuga didn't understand why she is so serious since this is only a friendly match, but chose not to argue about it.
Sora: You ready for this, Zuzu?
Zuzu: I-I think I am.
Zuzu replied nervously.
Sora: Just relax and be yourself. Just remember everything I taught you.
Zuzu: Right!
She readied her Duel Disk, until a loud voice came from the Control Room.
Skip: GO GET THEM, ZUZU! DADDY'S CHEERING FOR YOU!
Zuzu instead became increasingly annoyed by her Dad's loud cheering.
Zuzu: If he keeps this up…
Zuzu tried her best to reign her anger.
Ryuga: Hey, Zuzu! Sora!
Zuzu and Sora looked at Ryuga, who held a Deck that showed Red-Eyes.
Ryuga: Since this is all about Fusion, I'll use a Deck that is good with Fusion!
Sora: Really? Now this will really be an interesting Duel!
Ryuga was about to switch with Red-Eyes' Deck, until Blue-Eyes appeared beside him.
Blue-Eyes: H-Hey? I'm better with Fusion than Red-Eyes! Wouldn't I make a better choice?
Blue-Eyes spoke with a saddened look at Ryuga's choice.
Red-Eyes: Hey! It's his choice so leave him alone! Besides, he made the right choice choosing me! Hehehe!
Blue-Eyes became annoyed at Red-Eyes smirk.
Ryuga: Don't worry, Blue-Eyes. You'll get your chance to shine later, I promise. Besides, since this is practice it will be too for Zuzu if I used you. That's why I'm using Red-Eyes since he's the thirds strongest of my Dragons.
Blue-Eyes: Aww! Thanks, Ryuga!
Blue-Eyes was happy at Ryuga's words, while Red-Eyes was dismayed at the position he was in.
Red-Eyes: I'm in third!?
Ryuga put his Deck on his Duel Disk and he was now ready.
Skip: Alright! Is everyone ready?
Everyone nodded at him.
Skip: Okay! I'll activate the Action Field, Castle of Chaos!
The Arc System underneath the arena started to activate.
Arc System: AUGMENTED REALITY COMBAT SYSTEM: ENERGIZED. GENERATING ACTION FIELD.
The entire space transformed and a forest and a ruined castle rose from the ground. Ryuga quickly recognized this field.
Ryuga: This is… the same field Yuya fought on against the Sledgehammer!
Ryuga looked on in awe around the field as he stood on top of the ruined tower just like the Sledgehammer was, until Celeste snapped him out of it.
Celeste: Hey! Are you done acting all impressed there!?
Ryuga was surprised by Celeste's tone in her voice.
Ryuga: I'm seeing that this isn't your first Action Duel?
Celeste: I already competed in Action Duels at my School.
Ryuga: I see…
Sora suddenly called them from the floor.
Sora: Hey! Are you 2 lovebirds done talking yet?!
That brought a fierce blush on Celeste's face to appear.
Celeste: We are not LOVEBIRDS!
Sora couldn't help but laugh at how flustered Celeste is.
Sora: Hehe! I was only joking!
Zuzu: Knock it off, Sora…
Zuzu then looked up at Ryuga.
Zuzu: Ryuga, you know how a Tag Duel works, right?
Ryuga: I've heard how they work, but I never took part in one. You're supposed to share the field and Graveyard with your partner, right?
Zuzu: Yes, and not only that, Life Points are shared too, so if one player takes damage, so does their teammate. Good coordination is essential in a Tag Duel.
At the Control Room, Skip was eager for the Duel Start.
Skip: Alright, kids! Give it your all!
Celeste: Talking is finally over!
Ryuga: So this will be our first Tag Duel together!
Zuzu: We're gonna show our teamwork, Sora!
Sora: Yeah! Let's get started!
Celeste, Ryuga, Zuzu, and Sora: Now! Our Fusion match can now begin! Let's Duel!

The sphere holding the Action cards burst and they all fell around the field.
Celeste: I'll go first! I draw!
Sora: I can't wait to see what kind of Fusion Summon she can do.
Sora was eager to see Celeste's Fusion Summon.
Celeste: First, I put these 2 cards facedown.
Her two facedown cards appeared on the field.
Celeste: I'll also put 1 Monster facedown.
Celeste's facedown Monster appeared last.
I end my turn with that. Sora was disappointed to see that.

However, Ryuga thought differently when he saw her move.

Ryuga: H-Hey! You can just go off on your own! Wait up!
He began chasing after her. It was then Sora's turn.
Sora: Here I go. I draw! First I'll activate the Spell, Toy Vendor!
Rising behind Sora and Zuzu was a giant toy vending machine.
Ryuga: Whoa… That's big.
Sora: Now, by getting rid of one card from my hand that I don't need I can draw another card. And if it's a Level 4 or lower Monster, I get to summon it! If it's not, then I'll have to send it to my Graveyard. This card wouldn't do me any good.
The card he discarded was Instant Fusion, and then he drew.
Sora: Well lookie here! I summon my Fluffal Dog!
The giant vending machine released a plastic ball that rolled over until it popped open, revealing the white and patched brown Dog doll with small Angel wings.

Blue-Eyes appeared as she couldn't help but awe at the fluffy Monster.
Blue-Eyes: Aww! What a cute Dog!
Sora: Now my Fluffal Dog special ability activates! You see, when summoned, I can add a different Fluffal Monster or Edge Imp Sabres from my Deck to my hand!
He adds the scary Monster with green energy scissors to his hand.
Sora: And now prepare for…
Celeste: Is he going to Fusion Summon?
Celeste was about to have her answer.
Sora: Fusion Summon!... Is what I would say, but since I don't have a Fusion card I'll just summon my Fluffal Bear!
Appearing beside Fluffal Dog is a light pink teddy Bear with a red scarf and small Angel wings.

Both Ryuga and Celeste nearly fell at having their expectations fail.
Sora: But don't worry, I'll Fusion Summon during my next turn.
Celeste stood back, very annoyed at Sora's laidback attitude.
Celeste: Ugh! I knew I shouldn't have expected much!
Sora: Well the feeling is mutual since you didn't use your special Fusion Summon!
Celeste didn't have a way to retord back.
Sora: Now, Fluffal Dog, attack her facedown Monster!
The Fluffal Monster bounced up as it headed for Celeste's facedown, but the girl didn't make any effort to move at all.
Zuzu: Huh? Isn't she going for an Action card? Unless… (Gasp)! Sora! It's a Trap!
Celeste smiled as it was too late for the attack to stop.
The facedown flipped and revealed to be a Wishp-like white Dragon with small Angel wings, a halo above its head, a Ghost tail, and blue eyes with no pupils.

Fluffal Dog attack hit, causing the Wisp to burst.
Celeste: I'll activate the special ability of my Angel Wisp Dragon! She can't be destroyed in battle!
Sora: It can't!?
Sora was surprised to hear that as Angel Wisp Dragon reformed herself.
Celeste: And during the turn my Monster was attacked, I can call for another Angel Wisp, from my hand, Deck, or Graveyard!
Celeste pulled another Angel Wisp Dragon from her Deck and summoned it in Defense Mode

Sora: Oh man! Even if I attack, it wouldn't be of any use since I can't destroy her Monsters!
Zuzu: On top of that, she'll end up summoning more Monsters!
Sora had no choice but to end his turn.
Sora: I'll put 2 cards face down and end my turn!
Sora's hand: 2

Sora: Alright, Ryuga! Show us what you can do!
Sora looked up at Ryuga as he was still standing on the Castle's edge.
Ryuga: Sure thing, Sora! I draw! First I'll activate Graceful Charity! It lets me draw 3 cards, but I'll have to send 2 of them to the Graveyard!
Ryuga drew 3 cards and looked at them.
Ryuga: I send Black Stone of Legend and Red-Eyes Black Dragon to the Graveyard!
He discarded the 2 Red-Eyes Monsters, much to Zuzu's surprise, since she knew Red-Eyes is the key to his Deck.
Zuzu: He discarded Red-Eyes Black Dragon? What is he up too?
Ryuga: I'll activate the special ability of the Black Stone of Legend in my Graveyard! By shuffling a Level 7 or lower Red-Eyes Monster from the Graveyard back to my Deck…
He sent Red-Eyes Black Dragon back to the Deck.
Ryuga: I can add the Black Stone of Legend to my hand, which I summon it now!
Appearing on the field was a black egg.

Sora: That egg has no Attack Points at all.
Ryuga: What you'll have to worry about is the one that will hatch from this egg!
Sora: Huh!?
Sora was surprised to hear that as Ryuga turned to the black egg.
Ryuga: I'll activate the other ability of my Black Stone of Legend! By tributing it, I can Special Summon a Level 7 or lower Red-Eyes Monster from my Deck, and you know what's coming next!
The black egg started to glow red and began to crack.
Zuzu: He can summon his Red-Eyes Black Dragon!
Ryuga: That's right! Now come, Red-Eyes!
The egg burst open in a bright red light, and appearing on the field was Red-Eyes Black Dragon.
Red-Eyes: (Roar)...!

Ryuga: Now, Red-Eyes! Attack his Fluffal Bear! Inferno Fire Blast!
Red-Eyes a red fireball straight at the cuddly Bear.
Sora: Better find an Action card!
Sora tried to run, but he didn't get far as he tripped on a root of a tree.
Sora: Oh no!
It was too late as the attack hit and destroyed Fluffal Bear. However, as the smoke cleared, Ryuga saw that Sora didn't take any damage as the energy dome he was in vanished.
Ryuga: Wha? Why didn't he take any damage!?
Zuzu: That's because I used the Action Spell, Damage Vanish!
Everyone turned to Zuzu as she had an Action Spell beside her, which showed a red lightning bolt hitting a cloud.
Zuzu: Thanks to this Spell, Sora wouldn't take any damage!
Sora smiled at Zuzu for saving him, before making his move.
Sora: Since Fluffal Bear was destroyed in battle, I can activate the Trap Fluffal Crane!
The Trap shows a crane claw going to grab some Fluffal toys.
Sora: With this card, I can bring back Fluffal Bear back to my hand! And I can also draw 1 card!
Sora stood back up as he drew a new card.
Ryuga: I place 1 card facedown and end my turn.
Ryuga's hand: 4
Set cards: 1
Sora turned to Zuzu.
Sora: Thanks for the save, Zuzu. But now it's your turn!
Zuzu nodded at him as she placed her fingers on her Deck.
Zuzu: Alright, I draw!
She looked at her hand before turning to Sora.
Zuzu: Hey, Sora! You wouldn't mind if I use your Toy Vendor?
Sora: That's no problem, Zuzu!
Zuzu smiled as she made her move.
Zuzu: I'll use Toy Vendor's effect to discard a card from hand so I can draw a new one!
Zuzu discarded Re-Fusion and drew. Looking at it, Zuzu was pleased at what she drawed.
Zuzu: Alright! I now summon Aria the Melodious Diva!
An orange female Monsters appeared as she sang a nice melody upon appearing.

Zuzu: And since I have a Melodious Monster out, I can call Sonata the Melodious Diva!
A second Melodious Monster appeared as she too sang a song.

Ryuga: While their singing is nice and all, it's not enough to move this Dragon!
Red-Eyes agreed with him with a growl.
Zuzu: Then how about a performance? I activate the Spell Pianissimo from my hand! The music from this Spell will get your Dragon's Attack Points to 100!
Ryuga: Say what!?
The music that's coming from the Spell put Red-Eyes in a dreamy mood and his strength was weakened.

Zuzu: In exchange, that Monster cannot be destroyed by battel! Okay, Aria! Attack Red-Eyes with your song!
Aria took a breath before releasing a loud sonic wave.
Ryuga: I better find an Action card now!
Ryuga ran around, frantically looking for an Action card.
Celeste: No need! I activate the Trap Negate Attack! This wouldn't only stop your attack, but also the rest of your Monsters!
The power of the Trap shielded Red-Eyes from the sound waves.
Ryuga: Thanks, Celeste!
Zuzu: It's soon to relax you know!
Ryuga wondered what she was talking about as Aria glowed yellow.
Zuzu: If Aria fails to deal you damage, then she can deal you 800 points of damage instead!
Aria sung a loud note that hit both Ryuga and Celeste.
Ryuga/Celeste's LP: 4000-3200
Ryuga: Okay, perhaps music isn't as healing and soothing as I thought… hahaha!
Celeste: You're actually laughing at a time like this?
Ryuga: Why not? Dueling should be used to learn more about each other, remember?
Celeste said nothing as she turned her head away.
Ryuga: Besides, things are getting fun since they're powerful opponents that we have to give our all.
Celeste looked back at Ryuga, pensive at what he said.
Zuzu and Sora heard what Ryuga said.

Both Knuckler and Spright glowed as they began to fuse.

An adult Spright with a silver mechanical smooth underbelly with light blue flowing energy lines and feathered wings. He has the silver armor torso with the Angel Dragon symbol on it, as well as armored shoulderpads, lower legs and brass gauntlets. He's wearing a silver facemask with a light blue gem on the forehead.

Zuzu and Sora couldn't believe it, while Ryuga smiled at seeing Celeste's specialty.

Sonata returned to Zuzu's hand as she summoned a new Monster.

Zuzu's large female Monster appeared on the field. She's a Fairy with Butterfly wings, wearing a red dress and holding a baton.

Red-Eyes found the name odd as coming out of Sora's Trap card was a glove that grabbed Red-Eyes neck.

Red-Eyes was suddenly pulled to Sora's, much to Ryuga's surprise.
Ryuga: What in the!?
Sora: Now here's the thing, since there are 2 Monsters on my field, this Trap can grab another Monster and then send it flying to the enemies attack!
Red-Eyes: It does what!?
Red-Eyes was now worried since he's the one who's been caught by the Trap, and he was then thrown to Spright's path.
Red-Eyes: HEEEEELLP MEEEE!
Having no choice, Spright attacked the unfortunate Black Dragon, punching him in the face with his powered knuckle and destroying him in an explosion.
Sora: Not only will your Monster's attack be negated, but will also lose Attack Points equal to Red-Eyes Attack Points.
This caught Ryuga and Celeste by surprise.

Sora looked at his drawed card and frowned as it wasn't the card he needed.
Sora: I'll use Toy Vendor's ability again! I discard a card so I can draw a new one!
The card he discarded was Frightfur Fusion.
Sora: Alright, here goes!
He drew a new card and smiled at what he got.
Sora: Well lucky me! It's Fluffal Cat!
The toy machine loaded another toy ball and popping out was a brown purple Cat with a pink bowtie.

Sora: And now I can use this! Polymerization!
The Spell card glowed as Ryuga and Celeste stood ready for what's coming.
Sora: I'll fuse my Fluffal Dog, along with Edge Imp Sabres and Fluffal Bear that's in my hand!
The Fluffal Monster glowed and the 2 Monsters in Sora's appeared on the field. Edge Imp Sabres looks like a wicked multiple scissor Monster with glowing saber edged and red eyed.
Ryuga: 3 Monsters? That's not good…
Sora: Bears of fury and edge of sharpness! When all of them come together, you better beware! I Fusion Summon! The howling beast in the night! Frightfur Wolf!
From the 3 Monsters appeared a large and frightful purple toy Wolf with scissors as arm joints, edge of energy scissors also coming out of its waist, and glowing red eyes inside the mouth.

Blue-Eyes felt creeped out seeing that Monster.

The Action card Ryuga picked was a box in chains that was stabbed by swords, but the person escaped in a rainbow.
Ryuga quickly grabbed Celeste by her waist and pushed her out of the attack as rubble was thrown from the impact.
Ryuga: Now your Battle Phase is over! Are you okay?
Celeste: Em… Yeah…
Celeste was embarrassed that she had to be saved like this. Meanwhile, Sora was having a tantrum as stomped around.
Sora: Really!? And all those chances I took to summon this Monster! I end my turn!

Ryuga: It's my turn again! I draw! And as you already know, both my Red-eyes and the Black Stone of Legend are in my Graveyard! You know what that means!
Sora and Zuzu knew what that means.
Ryuga: I shuffle Red-Eyes Black Dragon and add the Black Stone of Legend back to my hand, and summon it now.
Ryuga did just that as the black appeared on the field.
Zuzu: He's going to summon Red-Eyes again…

The egg exploded and Red-Eyes is back on the field in a new form. His wing membranes are now fiery red, as well as having 2 more additional small wings on his sides.

Red-Eyes signature eyes started to glow as the edges of his 4 wings were engulfed in fire. Even the insides of his mouth was on fire.

Ryuga: First thing first, I'll use Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Sora's facedown!
The Spell card released a tornado that destroyed Sora's facedown, which is Polymerization.
Sora: NO FAIR! I set that card for Zuzu!
Ryuga: I now activate my Trap, Call of the Haunted, returning the Black Stone of Legend to my field!
The black stone egg came back once more.

A big meteor crashed on the field, and emerging from it was a bulky black stone Dragon with a thick jaw, spikes going down his neck, a yellow underbelly, and his body was covered in red lava veins.
Black Meteor Dragon: (Roar)...!

Sora: Now that's what I call firepower!
Ryuga: Okay, Black Meteor Dragon! Attack Sora's Frightfur Wolf! Burning Dark Meteor!
The huge Dragon charged and launched a fireball shaped like a comet towards Frightfur Wolf, who started panicking, before being hit by the attack.
Sora: Whoaaa!

Zuzu gasped since Ryuga still has Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon.

Red-Eyes: Here comes the burn!
Red-Eyes fired an attack much more powerful than Inferno Fire Blast and destroyed one of Zuzu's female Monsters.
Zuzu: Aah!

Ryuga: Now my Dragon's Gemini ability activates!
Sora and Zuzu became worried now.
Ryuga: When this card attacks or is attacked, you'll take damage equal to his original attack!
Celeste: Red-Eyes has 2400 Attack Points.
Skip looked worriedly from the Control Room.
Skip: If this attack hits, my BABY will LOSE!
Sora: We'll need an Action card!
Unfortunately, Sora was still inside the moat. Fortunately, Zuzu was on it as she grabbed an Action card from the bushes.

The Action card showed a man running at accelerated speed.

Her ace Monster came and picked Zuzu, right when Red-Eyes unleashed another Inferno Flare Blast. Zuzu quickly grabbed Sora as the attack hit the moat, causing steam.
Celeste: Those 2… they have each other's back… compensating for each other's weakness…
Celeste looked in awe at their bond.
Ryuga: From what I've heard, Zuzu wanted Sora to teach her how to Fusion Summon in order to grow stronger, since last time LID tried to take over this School. Thanks to Sora, she grew stronger, and the same goes to Sora as well.
Celeste was silent as she thought about this.
Ryuga: I end my turn.

Zuzu looked at the card she drew and saw it was the Monster she needed to turn the Duel.
Zuzu: Alright! I got it!
Sora: You really did, Zuzu?!
Ryuga and Celeste wondered what they were talking about.
Zuzu: I summon my Soprano the Melodious Songstress!
Appearing on the field is a female Monster wearing dark blue and orange clothes, a white gown, long dark crimson hair, and her eyes are covered in a white blindfold.

Soprano glowed as she used her power.

Both Monsters rose in the air before beginning to fuse. A bright light came from this fusion as Bahamut appeared besides Ryuga.
