Chapter 17: A Happy Ending

With everything done, Danny, Star and the rest could now rest from all the crazy. They needed it after all of it.

Star and Danny managed to get themselves cleaned up and changed into new outfits, thanks to Stella's insistence after what just happened, and were now meeting up with their friends and recovering from the experience.

Needless to said that they were all quite surprised from hearing how that exchange happened. Especially concerning the Guys in White and their current fate, considering it's also the result of two dogs falling in love.

Everyone needed a moment to process all the shocking info that they all just heard. Then each of Star and Danny's friends had their own concerns on what this could mean for the future.

"I still can't believe it..." Sam said with a look of disbelief on her face. " Star's Mom is "The Man" now?..." She shouted.

"No, Sam..." Tucker said. "Star's Grandpa is "the man" since he's the one who bought the Guys in White! Stella's not even a man..."He added.

The last comment drew glares from everyone else in the room.

"Jokes aside, now that they're being forced to work with Danny Phantom, does that mean Team Phantom gets paid?..." He asked, sounding intrigued.

"No, they're not being forced to work with me, only to leave me alone..." Danny corrected.

"I still can't believe it..." Jazz said.

"Me neither..." Sam said.

"I guess I can, since my mom has kinda done stuff like this before..." Star admitted.

"Normally, I hate how some spoiled rich girls whine to their daddy's to get back at someone who got on their nerves and use money to solve all their problems...but I think this is the first time ever that it was a good thing..." Sam said, sounding incredulous.

"You can say that again..." Star said.

"Yeah..." Jazz said, seeing the irony of the situation.

"Any idea where Cujo is?..." Tucker asked.

"No, but Star and I decided to leave him be for tonight and look for him tomorrow. He has had a long night as it is...plus, the worst he'll probably do is dig some huge holes or use Vlad's lawn as a bathroom again...which I don't mind the last one..." Danny said with a chuckle.

"Gross..." Jazz said, amused.

"You trained him to do that last one...didn't you?..." Star guessed, while her boyfriend smirked.

"I admit nothing..." He said, earning laughs from the others.

The teens then went back to talking about the lousy agents who caused so much trouble and were now experiencing karma again.

"So, how do they like having to wear non-white suits, slim dress shirts, black ties and matching shoes?..." Sam asked out of curiosity, since that is one of the things Mrs. Manson had in mind about new uniforms.

"They feel like H-E- Double Hockey sticks froze over, Sam..." Star happily said.

"So did I when I realized your family owns them now..." Sam responded.

"Danny, now that Star's Grandpa owns the Guys in White, will he buy Fenton Works next?..." Tucker asked.

"Tucker!..." Danny and the others complained.

"What?..." Tucker asked. "It's a valid question..." He insisted.

"One you shouldn't ask..." Jazz said.

"Okay... my bad..." Tucker went, hands up in defense.

"Anyway, I'm just glad I no longer have to worry about the Guys in White causing trouble again..." Danny commented.

"Unless those two decide to leave to go independent and try to get the million dollar reward offered by Plasmius..." Tucker replied.

Everyone stared at Tucker for bringing up and reminding most of them of such a complicated day they endured.

As if on cue, the goth sent a dirty look to the techno geek for soiling the mood.

"What?..." He asked, but got no answer.

This went on a few minutes until the ghost boy broke the tension between them by speaking up.

"Tucker?..." Danny asked.

"Yeah?..." He went.

"Is it really so much to ask you to look at the bright side to things?..." Danny asked while his glasses wearing friend just shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm sorry but I'm just trying to be realistic... "Tucker said in his own defense, folding his arms and pouted in annoyance.

"Anyway, I don't think we have to worry about those two morons anymore. They are in WAY more debt than ever and thanks to getting on my grandpa's bad side, they will never be able to find any work outside of laundry duty...and my mom plans to make their lives a total nightmare after their last stunt nearly cost me to lose the one sibling I actually like..." Star said, still furious that their reckless actions endangered Pierre.

"Honestly, I can't blame your mom's intentions...but isn't it pretty extreme for justice?! Wouldn't suing them be easier?..." Jazz asked with a shrug, questioning Mrs. Bevier's actions.

"Assuming they don't threaten to look at the judge's tax records..." Sam muttered while Star shook her head.

"Easier maybe, but my mom can be pretty petty and vindictive when she gets peeved off. The only real thing she has in common with Colette..." Star responded.

"Thankfully..." Danny said.

"Good news, I know my mom how usually reacts to situations like this and I know how demanding and spiteful she can be if she is pushed. She is gonna make those jerks wish that all she did was sue them or get the cops involved and my grandpa is gonna make sure they CAN'T quit, since and they DO need an income and he can easily blacklist them and make it hard to so much as work fast food..." Star said, while smirking.

"It's almost kinda scary how your family can do stuff like that with their money..." Danny admitted.

"You better make sure you don't forget yours and Star's anniversary after you two tie the knot, unless you wanna sleep on the couch and risk her complaining to her grandpa too..." Tucker joked, recalling the quarterversary incident.

"Tucker!..." Danny sand Star both yelled, embarrassed blushes on their faces.

Sam ribbed him for that, much to his dismay.

"Ouch! What did I do?..." Tucker complained, while the violet eyed goth girl rolled her eyes.

"So...does this mean that we might be working with the new GiW, or whatever your mother decides to rename it, in the near future?..." Jazz asked out of genuine curiosity.

Everyone went silent after hearing that question.

"I don't know...maybe?..." Star said, not knowing the answer since everything changed so quick that it didn't fully occur to the blonde girl or most of Team Phantom on how much of a difference this will eventually be for everyone involved.

"Let's hope that she'll at least keep them off my back. So... now that that's done... who's up for a video game marathon?..." Danny asked as everyone raised their hands, even Star.

"Great..." Danny said, pleased and happy that things have settled down.

However, before they could start, Star got a message on her phone.

"Huh?..." Star said as she checked her phone and saw a message from her non-disowned grandmother.

"Huh? Oh, I got a text from my nana...something about lots of their stuff finally arriving from being mailed and needing help with unpacking, unboxing and rearranging everything tomorrow..." Star said.

"Huh? Oh right...helping them move in...that is what we were doing before this whole thing with Cujo started..." Danny said, remembering that he and Star agreed to help Kirk and Joy before this mess with Cujo came up.

Star sent the text message then immediately got a message back that her grandparents are looking forward to it.

The teens soon decided that it was time to take a little down time for all the craziness of today. They were now relieved, feeling that this little adventure has wrapped up quite nicely.

Meanwhile

Jean-Luc was in a bad mood, way more than usual. And that's saying something.

The arrogant aristocrat had just come home after unsuccessfully trying to convince his "friends" to reconsider his business offer, which they declined without any hesitation.

Apparently, they didn't want their "precious Winthrop" associations with a "savage", even if she does have a pedigree.

"Unbelievable! The Barrington-Uphams no longer want to let their dog breed with Fifi! Not to mention, that all of our business transactions during our talks were to be halted until further notice! This is unfair! And all because of... that... that thing!..."Jean-Luc said, cursing his rotten luck.

Stella frowned.

"Good riddance! Anyone who shuns our precious Fifi, the same dog who saved our son's life, is not welcomed here..."She said, before turning to her pet.

"They don't deserve a wonderful dog like you. Isn't that right, Fifi darling?..."Stella said, no longer wanting her precious Fifi to associate with that couple or their dog anymore.

"The less likely we see of that Windbag, the better, Madame.."Her precious pet thought, hoping never to see Winthrop again.

Fifi was soon playing with Pierre, who was smiling. They were both having wonderful time playing with each other. Neither noticed or cared for what became of the couple or their dog, especially Fifi.

"Good boy, Little one. You grow better with every day..." Fifi happily barked, as she shared some of her doggy toys with Pierre.

"Horrible! My business profits will surely take a noticeable hit from this unfortunate setback!..." Jean-Luc ranted, storming in a circle.

Stella ignored her husband's complaints, but soon noticed a lot of texts messages and missed phone calls.

"Johnathan? Eleanor? Maddie?..." Stella said as she read the messages and wondered what they wanted to talk to her about.

"I am going to our room to make a few personal calls. Jean-Luc, please keep an eye on Pierre and Fifi and keep the noise down..." Stella said.

"But Mon Cheri?!..."Jean-Luc complained.

"Keep an eye on them. I won't be gone too long, just a couple minutes at most. Besides I'm sure you can handle watching over a baby and a dog for a few minutes..."Stella said, ignoring him as she went to attend her messages.

When she was gone, Pierre grabbed one of his favorite slippers and giggled.

"Fifi, fetch fetch!..."Pierre said as he threw both slippers in random directions.

"Oh boy!..."Fifi said as she grabbed one slipper and started to bite on it.

Jean-Luc saw this and got angry.

"Fifi! Enough! Stop! Drop my very expensive cotton slippers this instant!..." Jean-Luc said, still angry about the fiasco from earlier.

However unlike previous times Fifi didn't back down, whimper or begrudgingly obeyed his commands.

Instead, she growled at the French man as he tried to reach for his slipper.

"Back away, you overtly pampered pest! From now on, things are going to change around here! Now back off!..." Fifi thought in anger, glaring at him.

"GRRRR!..." She growled.

Recalling the bite from earlier and still traumatized from being chased by that growling ghost dog monster, Jean-Luc pilled back.

"You know what, keep them. Those are out of season anyway..." He said, stepping back with a noticeable fearful look in his eyes.

Fifi continued to growl until she heard Pierre's giggling.

"Fifi...grrrr...guud grrrrl...woof..."Pierre laughed, imitating her.

Fifi's attitude did a 180 and she became happy and docile again.

"Cute, Little one. How could you have ever been fathered by that cad is beyond me..."She went happily, carrying the slipper to the child.

Pierre kept tossing it and Fifi happily kept fetching them, with no indication they'd stop anytime soon.

This looked like the picture perfect scene of boy play fetch with his dog, and Fifi herself couldn't be happier. All the while Jean-Luc frowned, but also kept in an extra safe distance from himself and the female poodle, that made occasional glances him like a watchful guard dog.

"I feel like a prisoner in my own home right now..." He muttered grumpily.

The mean old grumpy Frenchman had no idea how right he was, especially when Fifi made snarling noises every time he tried to get close to her and even Pierre.

"Why couldn't Stella have gotten a goldfish?!..." He thought, hating this.

With Stella

The blonde woman was now in her bedroom.

She was in the middle of a multi-person video web chat with her ex husband, her best friend and Danny's parents, as well as her ex's husband girlfriend for some reason.

And all of them were worried and flabbergasted over her recent "purchase".

"Stella, is it true what Star told me? Did you really buy out the Guys In White?!..." Her ex asked, finding this the strangest acquisition she ever made.

"I can't believe this!..."Maddie whispered in shock.

"Yeah, this is so unreal. I can't believe your father bought out the Guys in White and just hand the rights to you, like casual Christmas gift..."Jack said, still unable to believe that she now owns a ghost hunting group he idolized.

And a part of him was kinda jealous too.

"I should be chairman, or at least the guy in the chair..."He thought with mild envy.

"Indeed. You own a part of the government now? That's extreme..." Solene said while Stella frowned.

"Those two SO-CALLED government agents nearly got my son killed with their careless actions! I don't care how extreme this looks!..." Stella shouted.

"Let me guess...you specifically asked your dad to buy them out just so you could torture them until you believe they had enough?..."Johnathan said, knowing his ex very well.

"I don't kid around, Johnathan..."Stella said.

" Look, I can't blame you for wanting payback for what almost happened to Pierre, don't get me wrong, but I'm hoping this is still an absurd joke..." Johnathan said, as he scratched side of his head.

"Like I said, I don't kid around, especially with my son's life..."Stella said.

"This reminds me of that one summer during our senior year of high school, when we went to some restaurant in Boston and the owner was so rude to us, that you made your father buy out the place and demoted that guy to mascot duty..." Eleanor said.

"I still believe that he had it coming, the nerve he had saying we weren't welcomed just because of how we dressed..." Stella said, still holding a grudge over that incident.

"Besides, this is different!..." She insisted, arms crossed.

"I am still confused about something. I thought they were a government-owned group?..." Solene asked, wondering how they were even bought to begin with.

"Actually... I was the lawyer for cases against them. They've had one too many lawsuits, especially from some family in Michigan. Enough that the government pulled more than 90% of funding from them. Apparently, using their funds for hiding their involvement in incidents and keeping up conspiracies are more important to them than this..." Johnathan went.

"For the record, I know what I'm doing..." Stella said.

"That's what you said when you tried to own a shoe store. You think you can run an entire group of ghost hunters?..." Johnathan asked, being skeptical.

"First off, we agreed that was a poor decision and is to never be spoken of again. Second, I've changed... I know a ghosts are a thing for starters..." Stella said.

"That's a basic need..." Johnathan snarked, rolling his eyes unconvinced.

Anyone who spent a day in Amity Park would come to know of ghost's existence.

"Second, I'm keeping the leader of the ghost in white to keep running the organization as before..." She added.

"You are?..." Maddie asked.

Stella nodded.

"Yes, he and I had a long talk and from what I gathered, he seems like a reasonable man...all things considered. He's not perfect and he has acknowledge that he made mistakes leading to organization but we had a long talk and he promised that he will do better to rain in his agents..." She explained.

"Well, that's good to hear, I suppose. I don't see you being the one to shout orders involving blasters..." Johnathan said but still wasn't convinced, while his ex wife continued.

"And third, those two agents that endangered my infant son, I want to keep them on a tight leash. I want to punish them for what they did but at the same time there a danger to the public..." Stella said, looking furious.

"I know what I'm doing. The documents speak about that in great detail. According to the head of the agency, those two were on probation and weren't supposed to be on the field in the first place..." Stella added.

"Its a shame that ghost hunters from such an organization can be so disrespectful and are under so much scrutiny..." Jack said, sounding disappointed.

"This wasn't their first blunder either. Did you all know that they attacked the planetarium and almost killed some poor teenager they thought was Danny Phantom? All because he has white hair, as if they've never even heard of a dyed job before?..." Stella questioned, sounding exasperated.

"I know, his family is the one from Michigan..." Jonathan said.

"Really, because that sounds far fetched, even for them..." Solene said.

"If you knew them like we do, then none of this would sound all that unbelievable..." Jonathan said, remembering the last time he dealt with agents K and O.

"Honestly, how awful of ghost hunters do you have to be to be unable to tell the difference between an actual ghost and a kid with a questionable fashion sense?..." Stella said. "I almost think they'd be dumb enough to confuse someone in a costume for a ghost..." She said angrily

"Oh please, who would be so stupid enough to do that?..." Eleanor said, laughing at the thought.

Maddie and Jack both cringed, due to remember past "misunderstandings" they have had.

"Boyle is never gonna live that down..but they must never know..." Jack thought, avoiding eye contact.

"So glad the chief's not here. I really hope they never find out about that incident...or the other ones..." Maddie thought, knowing how much they've gotten on his bad side.

"They need to be put on a leash so they don't in danger anymore lives..." Stella said.

"I can understand that. I am still angry about the time they destroyed my house just because they thought some ghost girl was there and they had the nerve to be dismissive about it..." Johnathan said, still angry about that incident.

"That's my point! Those two are thieves, thugs and bullies, they probably think they're above the law because of their states and ties to the government..." Stella said, angry before continuing.

"They are a danger to everyone around them. They damage the organization's reputation and worst of all, endangered my beloved son, so they need to pay!..." She shouted.

"They are a menace! Heck, they were probably thugs and bullies in school and they never grow up and they probably think that because of their families wealth they can get away with their actions. That and how those two are too much of a danger to be let loose anymore...UGH! They will learn that there is consequences to their actions!..." She said in a surprisingly mature tone.

"That's very observant. As a parent, I get what you're doing..." Johnathan said.

"So do we..." Maddie said, understanding Stella's feelings as a fellow mother.

"But legally speaking, you are putting yourself in a cross fire if that agency is out of line again and any further mishaps will be on your head...especially if those fools put fuel to the fire..." Johnathan said legitimately concerned about her.

His ex wife sighed, and tried to explain her intentions again.

"I know this is a spur of the moment decision and I understand everyone's concern and I appreciate it...but I'm going to make sure that this is not gonna be a mistake that blows it into everyone's face..." Stella said.

"Am I a businessman or a politician or a government agent? No, I am a socialite and I know that socialite skills wouldn't work in this situation, I am blessed with people that would help me..." She added.

"My father and my brother have given me advice and offered help. The two of them have government connections and they have offered to help me run the organization...which basically means they will send people to do the actual work, since the deed is in my fathers name but he appointed me as chairwoman, though in name only...but I will make sure to keeps those agents in line, especially those two stupid ones..." The blonde woman explained.

"I did my research on the organization and investigated the agents. Like I said there is the head agent who I'm keeping to actually run the organization. I did my homework on him and while he made mistakes especially with those two idiots, he's acknowledge that and he's going to be better. I also have people that are willing to help me out...Still, if you're interested Jack and Maddie can be ghosts experts, and...well...for ac egal team, I woukd appreciate anyone you or Solene could recoomend, Johnathan..." She said.

Everyone was stunned silent. This was definitely the most competent and coherent Stella had ever been

"That... sounds ideal, I suppose.".. Johnathan pondered.

" Good..."His ex wife said, sounding pleased.

"As for those two idiot agents, they're getting something far worse than probation soon enough. They're being monitored 24 hours to make sure they will not pull another stunt like what they did again. Those two are walking on VERY thin ice from all their mistakes and this is their last chance!..." Stella added, sounding ticked.

"They're going to be working to repair the damage to both the club and the organization, and the next time they make a mistake like that again, then they are going to jail! There's not gonna be a next time because I'm going to have assign people to monitor them, but if they're stupid enough to waste their last chance to leave the organization without going to jail, then that's on them..."She said, holding no sympathy for the two idiotic agents.

"Wow, remind me not to get on her bad side..."Jack whispered to his wife.

"So long as you avoid mine first..." Maddie replied back.

"Heh... right..." Jack responded.

The adult kept discussing what to do about Stella's acquisition, hoping that things will turn out in her favor...and that those rotten agents finally learn their lesson.

Elsewhere

Speaking of the two so-called agents, they were in the midst of their punishment. The two agents are angrily cleaning the country club as per orders of their new boss.

"I can't believe this! Taking orders from a woman and cleaning up the place! I didn't even like cleaning when my ex-wife wanted me to, in her words, pull my weight!..."O said angrily.

"Shut up, the last thing I need is listening to you whine!..."K muttered.

"Then don't stand so close to me..." O responded.

They were in even bigger trouble and debt than before. Now, their demotion is so great that they're basically less than janitors now.

While their respective family's' influence were able to keep them out of jail, they have been cut off from their wealth too. However, they were no longer included in the will.

"I was looking forward to that retirement..." O said, now beginning to regret some of his recent actions, mostly because he and K got caught.

And if that wasn't enough, they're on thinner ice than before.

They are prevented from getting any more promotions, and if they cause more problems, they will go straight to jail.

That's when O's phone got a call.

"Hold on..." He said as he checked.

Once O heard the voice from the other line, he immediately regretted not checking the caller ID when he had the chance.

"Darn it, not her!..." He cursed as his ex wife suddenly started yelling on the other end.

"I just heard from your boss! What were you thinking endangering an entire building with people?! Are you trying to be a bad influence on our daughters?!..."Her shrill voice shouted on the other end.

"What? No! Trudy, listen! This wasn't my fault!..." He insisted.

"Oh! That so?..." His ex, Trudy, asked, clearly not believing him.

"I don't like your tone when you said that..." O tried to come off as intimidating, but his ex was having none of it.

She then said something that made him gasp in horror.

"I am limiting the amount of time around our girls. You're on ice so thin it may as well be paper!.." She shouted.

"WHAT?! You can't do that! They're my kids too!..." O shouted.

"My girls don't need a violent bum drowning in debt being a bad influence! If you want to be anywhere around my girls, clean your act!..." His ex wife said.

"I am not a bum or a bad influence! That ghost and his dog are to blame!..." He yelled, while his partner watched.

"Always blaming everyone, ghost or not! You're the reason I wish I could legally change the girls' last names from Orville!..." She yelled.

With that, she hung up.

"No! Trudy! You can't do this to me! No!..."O cursed while his partner will his head.

"Pathetic..." K muttered, shaking his head in disapproval.

However, he soon would be in a similar situation.

K heard his own cellphone start ringing, he knew that it had whoever was calling him wasn't going to bring any good new at all. Once he checked the caller ID, K cringed, since it was from someone even worse than he thought.

"Oh no...not him..." He said with a cringe before answering.

"Uh...hi...dad..." K said nervously.

He cringed as he heard yelling and insults on the other end.

"Dad...dad...come on...it wasn't my fault!..." K tried but his father refused to hear it.

"You are not in high school anymore, Kevin! I am not gonna keep bailing you out like when you used to get in trouble in class or cleaning your messes like when you picked on other kids! You have disgraced the Kenan family name for the last time!..." The old man said, sounding angry..

"But...But Dad..." His son tried, but the old man refused to hear it.

"No excuses! This is the last time, Kevin! It was bad enough that you refused to join the family business and joined some stupid ghost hunting agency since you didn't think what we do is "cool enough" but you disgraced your mother and I even further by tarnishing our reputation and getting yourself into debt and legal trouble!..." He yelled.

"But I..."

"I am still not sure if what you do even counts as a REAL job, but I don't care anymore! Your mother and I are done bailing you out! Until you pay off that debt, considered yourself disowned!..." He yelled.

"What? No, dad!..." Kevin yelled.

"Enough! I have been more than patient with you. Heck, I probably should have done this years ago! You wanted so bad to be some kind of government spy agent or whatever but you couldn't even do that right! You promised me you would stay out of trouble and at least try and be a good worker but you failed that too! And even if I don't believe in what this agency does, you clearly don't deserve to be there due to all your messing up. I am done donating money just so they wouldn't toss your butt on the streets! No more! You're a dissapointment, Kevin..." The old man said.

"Dad..."His son said, his heart breaking upon hearing that.

"You're an adult now, so start acting like it...and start cleaning up your own mess. I'm done..."He said.

Hearing that crushed K to say the least, even more when his father hung up on him.

"Dad?! No?! Wait?! It wasn't my fault!..." K pleaded as he tried to call him, but his father refused to take his calls.

Once the phone calls ended, the two agents glared at each other in anger and blame. However before they could start fighting and pinning the blame on each other, someone else arrived to the area..

It was the country clubs president, and the best friend of their new boss.

"You two!..." Eleanor shouted as she arrived, having just finished communicating with Stella.

"What?!..." They both exclaimed.

"Stop goofing off. You still have to clean up both the outside and inside of MY club and Stella, your new boss, told me that first thing tomorrow morning, she wants you too to mow the clubs gardens and clean our pools as an extra token on apology to me.." Eleanor began.

"Oh no..." Both agents groaned.

However, it got worse for them as Eleanor then pulled out a list.

"Afterwards, she says that you two have to pick of her dry cleaning, pick of her dog Fifi dry cleaning, wash her limo, clean the toilets, weed the garden, organize her shoe collection by color and brand, as well as polish them..." Eleaor started.

"What?!..." They exclaimed, but the club owner wasn't finished yet.

"At 8:00 am on the dot, she needs one of you to get her a large, non fat, sugar free, half-caff, extra shot, no foam soy latte At 100 Degrees . She also needs someone else to reschedule her spin class session an hour later and make sure that Carlos, the instructor knows about it. She also needs you both tp reschedule her hair appointment to 2:30. She also needs to move her pilates session for friday at noon at the latest. She also needs you two to go to the grocery store to pick up organic vegetables from the gourmet sections since she wants a salad for lunch...and she will be checking the receipts for each ingredient so don't get any funny ideas. Also, you need to pick up a bottle of wine from Jean Luc's distributors for tomorrow nights dinner, and have it chilled at precisely chilled to 42 degrees Fahrenheit. You also have to pick up Fifi's imported mail ordered doggy treats, pick up Pierre's imported, organic gourmet baby food and designer diapers, and polish her husbands antique car collection ...all done by hand..."Eleanor said, smirking when she saw the expressions on their faces.

"WHAT?!..." Both agents exclaimed in shock.

"And before you all start whining, your other boss, Agent Alpha, already talked to her about this and he says you guys have to do it. And quick PS from Stella,...she says to do it all, double time..." She said, as she handed them the list.

They wanted to complain about the ludicrous amount of work they were ordered to do, but Eleanor spoke up.

"She also wanted to me to remind you both that if you have any objections to your new jobs, that she would be more than happy to settle this in a lawsuit and with the police involved if necesary..." Eleanor said, reminding them of the amount of legal trouble they are in and will be if Stella loses her patience with them.

That shut them up.

"I thought so...now again, double time..." Eleanor ordered, enjoying the payback she was getting by proxy for the damage to her club.

Hearing this made the two agents nearly faint at the new work load they have been assigned, and they had a feeling that this is only the beginning.

O and K then began to hurl blame at the other.

"This is all your fault, Oliver! Why did I ever even listen to you?!..." K said, visibly angry.

"My fault?! I think you mean yours, Kevin!..." O yelled back.

"Wait..." Eleanor went. "Your K and your name is... Kevin. Your O and your name is... Oliver?..." She questioned.

"We use our first name's initials..." K responded.

"Bizarre... anyway... best hurry if you want to be out before night. But I want you back here to finish at sunrise..." She said while walking away.

The two groaned as they collapsed, too tired to keep moving.

Both of them were carrying their respective cleaning tools. Kevin had a broom and dustpan, while Oliver had a mop and a bucket. They sighed at seeing the much extended mass that they STILL had to clean up.

Unknown to either agent O and K, they were currently being monitored by their follow agents M and L, much to the latter pair's slight annoyance.

"I can't believe we have to babysit these morons..." M said, looking ticked.

"Look on the bright side...some rich guy bought the GIW so we don't have to worry about anymore budget. cuts...and I also heard news about a new non white dress code..."L said, sounding pleased.

"I hope so. My laundry bill has been a nightmare trying to keep these things clean 24/7..."M said, referring to his suit.

"Ditto..."His partner said, hoping that their new boss isn't as picky about uniform cleanliness.

They soon saw that after the club owner left, O and K got into a fist fight, clearly blaming the other for their predicament.

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT THAT MY LIFE STINKS NOW!..."O yelled.

"NO, IT'S YOUR FAULT THAT MY LIFE STINKS!..."K yelled.

Their fellow agents witness the whole thing, but did nothing to stop them yet.

"Should we break this up?..." M asked, as he thought things were getting quite violent right now.

"Right now?..." L asked, clearly enjoying this. "Ehh, give them 5 more minutes and then lets break those goof's fight up..." He suggested.

"Works for me, I'm still peeved off at O for stealing my parking space and K for that coffee incident..." M said, as they watched their fellow agents fight each other.

It was only after K had a black eye and O had a couple of teeth knocked out that they decided to intervene and end their rather entertaining fight and had them focus on their chores.

All the while, O and K wondered how they ended up like this and sighed, trying hard not to break down in tears in front of their fellow agents...or each other.

Later

As her owners were asleep, Fifi got up and looked outside to see the full moon.

"So beautiful. I wish I could howl to it, but I don't want to wake the baby or my mother up...maybe that weak man and his stupid daughter who is still not here... but they are not worth it. Well, not that worth it..."She whispered, staring intently at the full moon.

"I think I can help you with that..."Was heard.

Fifi sniffed and her tail immediately wagged as she turned to see that it was Cujo.

"Oh, mon cheri. You're back!..."Fifi said, looking happy.

"What can I say, Beautiful? I just couldn't stay away from you for too long. Did you miss me by any chance?..."Cujo said, trying to act cool in front of her.

"Undoubtedly..."Fifi said in a loving manner as she nuzzled his nose a bit, making him wag his tail happily.

"That's the ticket..." He went in a love sick way.

"I've been waiting for that too..." Fifi said.

"Wanna come with me? I know a great spot in the park that can get a nice view of the full moon. Perfect place for howling and playing under the moonlight..."Cujo offered.

"Will there be no humans to spot us?..." She asked.

"None..." Cujo said.

Fifi wagged her tail in eagerness.

"Lead the way, Mon cheri. I can't wait..."She said as she brushed her tail against his face and caused Cujo's eyes to lock on her movements.

She nuzzled into him, which made him gulp quietly once Fifi locked eyes with him.

"If you insist..." He said as he turned giant and let her climb atop his back.

The two dogs soon snuck off together, silently in the middle of night with no one noticing them, which was a relief, given how big Cujo was at the moment.

A little later

Cujo and Fifi were now at the park.

The two were having fun, and were happy that they no longer had to deal with those mean hunters or that annoying Winthrop.

"This is the best!..." Fifi barked, as Cujoq and her played the dog version of tag.

"You said it, Beautiful!..."Cujo barked, happy and in his small dog form.

Two very different dogs, a pampered, well-bred show dog and a mischievous ghost dog, were both frolicking in the park at midnight and enjoying their time.

"I think I'm in love..."They both thought, as they stared lovingly into each other's eyes as they sat in the middle of the park, admiring the full moon.

They then began howling to their heart's content, especially with who they were with. It was so peaceful right now.

The two finished as they found a spot, laying against each other in a bed of fresh flowers as they kept admitting the beautiful moon together.

Indeed... love finds a way, even for dogs.

Phantom Fan 21: I guess that we will have to wait and see why happens.

Guest:

1) I look forward to it.

2) Probably both would exaggerate Vlad's worst traits.

3) One would be a wanna be super hero sidekick and the other would act like a stereotypical carefree kid.

4) No idea.

5) Danny had enough problems and he knew how risky it would be if Walker tried to capture him again.
