Fife and Cho were waiting for Sienna in the back alley of the inn when they heard hurried footsteps.

Sienna appeared with a look of glee on her face.

"Did you find anything?"

In answer, she opened the chest, and inside they found a black-haired wig and a few letters that gave progress reports on Karan Sharma, who was being treated in France.

Cho picked up the wig while Fife began to read letter after letter, as Sienna explained. "I found their house, and luckily Viscount and Viscountess were not at home so I managed to impersonate a maid and search the house. In their room, I found this wig in Karan Sharma's chest, and I found these letters inside this box on Viscount's desk."

Fife was shaking in triumph and anger. "So this means all this time there was a woman posing as a man! That shameless duplicitous woman!"

"And Genevieve was never married." Sienna exclaimed, for that is the only truth she can't wait to expose.

Cho frowned as he said. "To think Bridgerton, Bassett, and Dorset were sleeping in the same room with this woman for all these years. I wonder when they found out and why they kept her a secret.

"Maybe this harlot seduced all these men to her bidding. She entrapped Bridgerton first, and then others. Think Cho, if what I saw all those years was true, then they were enjoying this woman whenever they pleased."

Cho looked doubtful at his friend's theory, but before he could say anything more, Fife was gleaming with excitement. "Thank you, Ms. Russo, for giving us this Pandora's box. Tomorrow at the autumn festival, we will expose this disgraceful woman and her loyal followers."

Genevieve and Karan returned to the village, and Karan frowned as he stared at the crowded streets. "I thought this was a small village; then why are there so many people gathered around?"

That realization struck her. She slaps her forehead and gasps, "Must this be the day of the autumn tournament?"

"What?" Karan inquires, and Genevieve tries to explain. "This village hosts four seasonal tournaments every year because we have large grounds and a lake by the side. Every season, students from Oxford and Cambridge compete in various sports during these tournaments."

Karan's face fell as he stared out of the carriage window at the crowd. "If that incident hadn't happened, then Karan Sharma's name would have been among those competing."

Genevieve grimaced because her fiancé was unaware of how famous his name was in this village and university.

Soon they arrived home, and Genevieve quickly ushered him inside her house before anyone could notice their return.

"Where is Kathani? You and Mama told me that she stayed here to look after your father's shop while Mama left Edwina with her old friends."

Genevieve hesitated because she needed Kathani to explain this truth. After lengthy discussions with Karan's doctors Instructionvtly said to be alone.

Englishv Keeping that in mind, she kissed kissed him sweetly as she she she him her him her on the the sofa sofa. " Why don' t' you rest rest on and on the the sofa sofa... "I'll I'll ll bring bring Kathani an from from the the the shop shop the the shop.. " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " "The trees stood wind." " "

"I can accompany you too, darling." Karan says excitedly, but Genevieve shakes her head.

"No, we wanted to surprise your sister. Just let me bring her here."

With one last kiss, she hurriedly left her home, praying to quickly find Kathani so she could reunite her friend with her brother.

Kathani has been feeling strange since morning.

She was barely able to concentrate during the chess tournament, and she was lucky that her opponent made the wrong move, which gave her a last-second victory.

Anthony gave her concerned looks throughout her fencing match, but after a few hard strikes, she managed to disarm her opponent.

So while they were getting ready for the rowing competition, Anthony finally asked in a worried voice. "What's the matter, my love? I've never seen you so distracted, especially on the day of the tournament."

Kathani tried to smile but didn't seem to manage it. "I'm just feeling nervous for some reason. Like something big is going to happen today."

Anthony frowned, and then his eyes lit up with understanding. "You're nervous because last year you couldn't participate in these tournaments."

But Kathani shook her head as she tried to make her husband understand. "It's not just some nerves or pressure from this tournament. I just wish I could describe what I'm feeling."

She trailed off as her husband pulled her into his comforting embrace. "It's alright. You don't have to say anything. If you say you're feeling distressed, then I believe you, but, dear heart, you need to see the bright side of things."

"Which is it?" She grumbled, and her husband smiled at her.

"In the sentence structure

She finally smiled when she heard the promise of a happier and more carefree future in her husband's voice.

She laid her head on his chest and sighed deeply. "Then I will wait patiently, for soon all our worries will be a thing of the past."

They both pulled away when they heard approaching footsteps outside their tent.

Seconds later, Anthony's eyes widened as his wife gasped at seeing Genevieve in front of them.

"Gen!" Kathani rushed to embrace her friends while Anthony greeted her. "It's great to see you, Genevieve."

"But what are you doing here?" Kathani, still looking shocked, inquires.

"It's not just me who is here; I brought your brother along too."

Anthony watched as tears filled his wife's eyes. "Is Karan, my brother, truly here?"

Genevieve nods her head as Kathani embraces her again. "Thank you so much, Genevieve. Thank you so much for bringing my brother back to me."

Both women cried as Anthony patted his wife's shoulder comfortingly.

"Come, we still have some time left for our turn; let's go and meet your brother."

At that, Genevieve gave them a hesitant smile. "Alright, but Kathani, I haven't told him about anything. He thinks all this time you were staying with me and that Mary old friends helped her and Edwina get here."

Kathani frowned as she asked, "Why didn't you tell him anything?"

"Because his doctors thought it was better if he learn the truth from you in person."

Anthony could see his wife feeling nervous again; so he squeezed her shoulder. "It's alright, darling. We will go and meet your brother together and tell him everything that happened these last few years. I believe once he finds out, he will be proud of what you have achieved in his name."

With that, he led them outside the tent so they could set off towards Genevieve's house.

But as they got out of their tent, they heard some sort of disturbance by the lakeside.

They walked towards the tree to get a better look, and then their eyes widened when, in the middle, they saw none other than Karan Sharma, looking confused and distressed. Fife, Cho, and Siena showed wig and letters to Principal Hector.

"He's the woman. Professor Hector! I told you something was suspicious about this Sharma, and you wanted me to prove it, and now you have it. This man is not a man but a woman, and not just any woman. She is the right and honourable Viscountess Kathani Sharma Bridgerton, who has been fooling all of us for all these years.

"Does she just pull her wig off?" Sienna yells impatiently, and the crowd watches as Cho tries to yank it. "It's not coming off."

"It's my real hair, you moron!" Karan Sharma yells angrily as he pushes him away.

"And I am the real man! You want me to prove it! I will give you your proof!"

The crowd gasps as Karan Sharma pulls his shirt off, then pulls down his suspenders. "You want more proof!"

But before he can even touch his trousers, a woman's voice is heard.

"Stop."

The crowd gasped in shock as they stared from one Karan Sharma to another.
