Monica quickly went back to her apartment to get her car. Fiona, Dennis and Coop looked excitedly at Monica leading the way.
Monica: The first thing we need to do is get into the town radar station. There will be a control center where we can handle the radars.
Fiona: Great, so we'll get in according to the plans, we'll find Mr. Kat.-Monica looked at the young people thoughtfully.
Monica: The next step depends on what we find. It's important to be careful because we don't know who we're up against. Aliens are always capable of surprises.
The group took to the street and after a short journey they reached the town's radar station. Monica led the youngsters towards the designated entrance as they kept watching the sky above the city.
Entering the radar station, the kids run to the central control room, where the radars were controlled.
Coop: Now what's the plan?
Monica: We'll search for the suit of armor using the radars. If we find it, we will observe its movements and make a plan to catch it.
Fiona is still skeptical. She was trying to make sense of this whole thing. She actually agreed to help them because she wanted answers. Coop said Mr. Kat is an alien who has been ruining his life since he got here. But the words of a man sounded in her head.
??: Don't believe everything you see, as Shakespeare said "All the world is a stage".
It is known about Fiona that since she is closely related to Captain Blasteroid actor Dwight Munson, they shouldn't have been allowed to watch his show until they were 8 years old. A memory flashed through Fiona's mind. She and her twin brother were turning on the TV, they must have been around 6-7 years old here. He had the same blond hair as her, a similar facial features, only he had no freckles and he has hazel eyes
Fiona's brother: It's boring, the news is boring.-then they reached a scrambled channel.-Why we can't watch it?
Fiona: It's like it's disabled. You should enter the code there.
Fiona's Brother: And what is it?
Fiona: Do you think I know?-Fiona's brother started hitting his four 0's. But it didn't work out.
Fiona's brother: It could be our birthday. -and their birthday hit and the channel was unlocked.-This looks exciting.-the two children happily watched the series until the end. The episode ended with Captain Blasteroid being captured by a bipedal crocodile-like alien. Captain Blasteriod was tied up on a spaceship. The monster approached him.
Crocodile-like space creature: Let's see who you really are. - the space creature took off the man's helmet. The two children were shocked.
Fiona: He's been captured by the aliens!
Fiona's brother: We need to tell mom and Scott (their older brother).
Not long after that Dwgiht Munson appeared to them, the two children looked shocked.
Fiona: Are you freed from alien captivity?
Dwight: What? -Fiona's mother appears.-They watched my show, right?
Fiona's mother: I'm sorry, but I put a parental lock on the channel
That evening, Dwight Munson had a face-to-face conversation with the children, and invited Fiona's twin brother over to her room.
Fiona: What do you mean you wasn't kidnapped? After all, we've seen it all.
Fiona's brother: Yes, that crocodile monster is captured you.
Dwigth: Kids, it's all not true, it's just a job for me.
Fiona: Is it your job to scam people?
Dwigth: No, I don't scam them, because everyone knows it's just an eyesore. There are those cartoons where the characters are not real either, the figures are just drawn and a story is made up of them with the help of a computer. Well, my show is like that, only the characters are played by living people, but the whole story is just written like a fairy tale.
Fiona's brother: So you're pretending to be hero, it's being recorded on camera, broadcast on TV and you get paid for it?
Dwight: Yeah, exactly. The lesson from this is not to believe everything as soon as you see it, because as Shakespeare said "All the world is a stage"
Fiona: But do aliens really exist?
Dwight: I don't know, astronauts don't rule out their existence, but they haven't proven it yet.
Fiona: Mrs. Burtonburger or Ms. Salib or I don't know what to call her anymore.
Monica: Actually, Agent Moonbeam should, since Monica Salib died in a car accident.
Fiona: Agent Moonbeam, do you really believe in those radars and little suits of armor?
Monica: So far, all signs point to something happening in town. And yes, I believe there is something in the radars.
As the youth watched the displays, a small, bright dot suddenly appeared on them, moving rapidly over the city.
Dennis: There it is! That little suit of armor!
Monica looked expertly at the displays as she made plans for her next steps.
Monica: Good. Now watch his movements. Anticipate where you might be in the next moment and prepare for your next move.
The youngsters watched the display excitedly as the small suit of armor suddenly fell down near a park.
Coop: Come on, there's work!
The group hastily left the radar station, ready to face the alien menace and try to retrieve Mr. Kat.
The kids and Monica hurried to where the small suit of armor had landed. As they approached, they could hear the tapping of metallic feet as the armor walked more and more sharply.
Fiona: Come on, let's follow!
The group followed the suit of armor from behind as they tried to keep an eye on where it was going. Finally, he led them to an industrial area, where a huge sign announced: " Fishy Frisky Bits Factory"
Coop: Why did he choose this?
Monica: Maybe something to do with the cat food or the factory. Let's follow it quickly!
As the youths approached the factory, they noticed Mr. Kat standing at the entrance, trying to climb into the building.
Fiona: I'm still not convinced about all this.-Coop turns to Fiona.
Coop puts his hand on her shoulder and looks seriously at Fiona.
Coop: Fiona, I didn't believe it for a long time either, but sometimes we have to face the possibilities, even if they seem unbelievable. It looked like that to me too until I found the x-rays, although I'm not a vet, but I could see that his body was not like that of a terrestrial cat.
Fiona looks at the boys thoughtfully, then nods in agreement.
Fiona: Okay, let's try. But only because I love Bootsville and we can't let anything jeopardize it.
Monica: That's the spirit we need, Fiona! Come on, let's continue our journey and try to find out what's really going on.
The group sets off and continues to follow the direction indicated by the radars. Following the tracks of the small suit of armor, the city's allies are determined to step into the unknown, ready to uncover the secrets surrounding their city.
The youngsters and Monica approached Mr. Kat almost imperceptibly as they hurriedly watched the cat. When they reached him, Coop suddenly called out.
Coop: Stop, Kat!
Mr. Kat turned and looked at them in surprise for a moment. The group surrounded him, ready to stop him.
Monica: Why do you want to come in here, Mr. Kat?
Mr. Kat put on his suit of armor and started communicating on a display.
Mr. Kat (on screen): Stupid humans! I have nothing to do here! Leave me alone!
Coop: Not until you tell me why you want to get into the cat food factory!
Mr. Kat sighed in frustration and then explained through the display that he needed the recipe for the special cat food and the technologies used in the factory.
Fiona: Why?
Mr. Kat (on display): I'm capable of human emotions, and I... I just want the best cat food!
The youths and Monica looked at each other in confusion, then headed back together to discuss their next steps.
Fiona: That's weird. Is Mr. Kat only interested in cat food? Like a regular cat.
Dennis: Or maybe something else? Something he's not telling us.
Coop: Maybe he's trying to keep something a secret. Whatever it is, we must try to find out.
Monica: Maybe aliens are also interested in cat food.
Fiona: So, what do we do now?
Monica: We enter the factory and try to find out why Mr. Kat needs the recipe and technologies. If we feel something suspicious, we try to stop it.
The group agreed and headed towards the cat food factory. As they approached, they saw Mr. Kat trying various clever ways to get in.
The group dispersed and everyone began to come up with a plan to distract Mr. Kat while Coop and Dennis tried to enter the factory unseen.
Fiona: (loudly) Hey, Mr. Kat! What about that star-shaped food? I heard it's crazy delicious!
Mr. Kat raised his head, looked at Fiona with interest, and started walking towards the group.
Fiona tries to distract Mr. Kat as Coop and Dennis make their way to the back entrance. Coop quietly opened the door and entered the factory, ready to discover why Mr. Kat wanted to steal the recipe for the cat food.
The two boys carefully looked around the factory while trying to remain unnoticed. The hum of the machines and the operation of the production lines accompanied him as the various processes took place in the factory. He slowly approached the central controller, hoping to find some information there. Luckily for him, the security guard just came out of there, whistling.
Meanwhile, the group was trying to get Mr. Kat's attention from the outside.
Fiona: (loudly) Mr. Kat, maybe we can keep your attention with these toys!
Monica: Why do you keep toys with you?
Fiona: Before I played soccer with the guys, I played with Growler and they stayed with me.
Monica: I doubt an alien can be tied down by a toy.
Fiona took out a few toys and started throwing at the cat. Mr. Kat, albeit with some resistance, began to play with them, surprising and distracting him from the factory entrance.
Monica: Or according to them anyway, they can...
Meanwhile, Coop searched the control center, where the first thing he did was turn off all the security cameras.
Coop: Hm, I think it will be this button! -and it really turned off.
Monica hid somewhere in the corridors of the factory behind one of the machines, sneaked behind the security guard and stunned him with a chloroform handkerchief, he lost consciousness and lay on the ground.
Dennis spotted a computer and began browsing the data. He soon found the recipe for the special cat food and the information about the technologies used in the factory. Behind him, Coop watched what his friend was browsing on the computer.
Coop: (thinking): It's a little more than just cat food.
In front of the computer screen, Coop and Dennis slowly began to understand the situation. The factory produced not only plain cat food, but also special food that was somehow related to Mr. Kat's extraterrestrial nature.
However, as Coop and Dennis were engrossed in their discoveries, suddenly the silence of the factory was interrupted by the sound of an alarming siren. Both the youths and Mr. Kat froze, sensing the approaching danger.
The sound of alarm sirens continued to spread through the factory, and the young people and Mr. Kat looked at each other more and more nervously. Monica ran to the boys.
Monica: Quick, we have to get out of here!
Coop and Dennis hurried out of the control center as the others rushed to meet them. As they came out of the factory, as they moved away from the danger, a huge robot moved in the depths of the factory.
Monica: This is the factory's defense system! Quick, let's escape!
The youngsters and Mr. Kat tried to run away as the robot followed them and slowly got closer to them. Coop thought as he tried to find some way to stop the robot.
Coop: Fiona, put the toys away!
Fiona almost tripped, but suddenly realized Coop's intentions and started throwing toys at the robot. The robot, like a cat, slowed down, ignoring the group and started following toys.
Dennis: Great, we've distracted you! Let's get out of here now!
The group kept running as the robot ran after the toys. As they left the factory, the robot slowed down and then stopped as the youngsters and Mr. Kat felt safe. They got out of the building
Fiona: Well, that was exciting!
Monica: We have to somehow get this dress off Mr. Kat and destroy it.-Coop saw that Mr. Kat wanted to go back to the factory, but he caught him and tried to blow the dress with a rock to see if it would be ruined. Fiona also helped him catch him. Meanwhile, Dennis found the shut-off button on the suit of armor near his neck and pressed it. Well, Coop and Fiona ruined the dress for good and Mr. Kat started yelling.
Monica: Well, Mr. Kat, you're coming with me now. - Monica gave him an injection, which paralyzed Mr. Kat. Coop laughed.
Dennis: What are you doing with him?
Monica: I'll take him to the base and do some tests on him-Monica covered her hair with the scarf again, put on her sunglasses, and took the children home. She stopped a little further from the house.
Fiona: But Millie will be sad. Could you really take your own daughter's cat?
Monica: She survives, then Mr. Burtonburger gets her another cat. And if we look at it, I'm not doing her any harm, she'll learn what it's like to lose someone.
Coop: You don't know her; she insists to him.
Monica: Do you want to get rid of him?
Coop: Yes.
Monica: Do you want to have a normal childhood again, and your biggest problems are just the changes of puberty and writing the lesson?
Coop: Yes?
Monica: Then trust me and don't worry about Millie, it might even encourage her to develop her character. Oh, and kids, I wanted to give these too - Monica handed Coop and Dennis two satellite phones, the two boys started looking at the gadget, they turned it around in their hands because they couldn't figure out what it was - satellite phones with encrypted signals. You can only call me on it. If there's a big mess that you can't solve, call me, if I can't be here because I'm on a mission, I'll still try to help somehow, help with instructions. Sorry Fiona, I only brought two! - Monica took the paralyzed Mr. Kat to the base.
Fiona still doubts the existence of aliens and whether Mr. Kat is real.
Fiona: (doubtful) So now you're saying aliens really exist and Mr. Kat is one?
Coop: Yes, Fiona, is it really that unbelievable? You've seen it all.
In Fiona's mind, Dwight Munson's words still ring "All the world is a stage"
Fiona: (skeptically) Well, I don't know. Maybe it's all just a well made up story.
Dennis: (laughing) Sounds like a sci-fi movie, right?
Fiona: (seriously) But how do you explain that I don't remember anything?
Coop: I told you, Mr. Kat erased it with a laser so you wouldn't remember it after we went to the planet hole.
Fiona: (doubtful) Why should I believe you and you, Mr. Kat? Why shouldn't these "aliens" be people in uniform, just messing with us?
Coop tried to reassure him.
Coop: Fiona, we understand that these events are difficult to accept.
Fiona: Coop, when your dad comes back from the date, aren't you going to tell him?
Coop: What should I say?
Fiona: You know your mother is alive.
Coop: God forbid, he'd have a heart attack if he knew! I don't know what he would think of her, if she found out that I was hanging out with her, I would be grounded for the rest of my life, or he wouldn't believe me and send me to a sanatorium, because he would think I'd gone crazy for good. -Coop shook his head a little sadly.
Fiona: That would be a shame, but I don't think your dad would do that, he loves you. Did you like her anyway? Your mom?
Coop: I don't know, it's kind of too good to be true. My mother, who I thought was dead, is alive and she is the only adult besides my grandparents who believes me. It's hard to believe that she doesn't have an ulterior motive with this.
Dennis: I like her.
Coop: We know, Dennis!
Dennis: But does she also me? I'll find out soon. -Dennis plucked a flower and started tearing its petals. -she Likes, she doesn't like, she likes, she doesn't like...- Fiona looked at Coop confused
Fiona: Is Dennis...
Coop: Yes. I never thought that my mother would be the first woman he would crush on.- Fiona laughed.- This is not funny!
Fiona: Admit it a little.
Coop: Yes, He got it into his head that when he grows up, he will ask her out on a date. My math teacher will be my stepmother, and my best friend my stepfather, that's what my poor head needs!
Fiona: He'll grow out of it; my brother's first love was the kindergarten teacher. And about your da, just because they go out to dinner doesn't mean she's going to be your stepmother. Only time can tell.
Coop: Right. Do you have a brother?
Fiona: Yes, I have two.
Coop: That's cool! You never told me about them.
Fiona: Never had the chance. But Coop, I think you should tell your dad and Millie. He also has the right to know her mother is alive. -finally, Ms. Munson came out of the house looking for Fiona.
Ms. Munson: Fiona where are you? Come and do my evening foot massage.
Fiona: Gotta go guys! See you tomorrow! -Fiona wanted to plant a kiss on Coop's cheek, but she suddenly pulled away from him.
Fiona: I have to process all of this, it's hard to believe. She jumped over the fence separating the two gates. Dennis finished tearing the flower petals.
Dennis (shouting with joy): And she likes me!
Burt was at home ready for the date. Millie did his hair again. He wanted to leave, but Millie stopped him.
Millie: Wait dad, how's your breath?
Burt: But we will eat.
Millie: Then don't choose food that causes bad breath.
Burt: I know Sweet Pea, I've been on a date before.
Millie: Daddy, that was 1000 years ago. -Burt breathed on Millie. -Okay, and don't forget the flower! - Millie pressed a bouquet of flowers into Burt's hand.
Burt: Where did you get that?
Millie: Ms. Munson let me pick and I made a bouquet to impress Ms. Branning as much as possible.
Burt: Thanks, honey! But why is it so important to you?
Millie: Because you know, dad, I noticed that everyone at school has a mom, but we don't, and I want a mom. -Millie looked sadly.
Burt: Fate will decide whether you will have a mother or not. - Meanwhile, Coops returned home. - You came home just in time, I almost called Munosn's grandmother over to babysit. Be good kids! And the dinner is in the fridge. -Burt got into his car. The meeting with Ms. Branningen was arranged at the restaurant, because the woman had other things to attend to at school and would come directly from there, so he headed there, drove downtown. But Monica also went on the same road section with Mr. Kat, she drove in the inside lane because she was in a hurry to get to the base. He saw Mr. Burtonburger's car in the rearview mirror. I only came to an intersection where a traffic light directed the traffic and signaled red for each lane. The scarf and sunglasses were still on her head.
Monica: Oh, damn it, whatever, I have to stop at the red light, I'd draw attention to myself if I went through it. Just act natural!
Burt was happily driving, listening to the radio and singing the song. He stopped right next to Monica's car at the red light. Burt stared at the car, it was an old-style black Camaro, then he saw the woman in it and stopped singing.
Burt: This woman is so familiar - then he realized. - No, she doesn't look like her, I'm just imagining it.
Monica looked over in the other car, raised her eyebrows, just looked at Burt.
Monica: He looks good in this suit, this hairstyle suits him well -Burt start to sing along again with the music.-but he's still an idiot.
Mr. Kat was in a cat carrier in the back seat, on the floor out of sight. She didn't want to put it in the trunk, she was a secret agent after all, not an animal abuser, but there was another pet carrier next to it and it was none other than Honey Fluff, Phoebe's cat, and about 4 cats besides them. But what does Coop's mom want with these cat? It will be revealed in the next chapter. (Camera zooms on Honey Fluff)
Honey Fluff: Meow!
