As the old saying goes, when in the Jungle, go ape. Kim herself was certainly going by that saying after being adopted by Monkeys. Up in the canopy of the trees above, Kim can be seen swinging through the trees with several of the monkeys were sitting. Since have been adopted by the primates, the former average girl had certainly let lose her inner monkey girl. Partaking in the daily routines which came with being one.

Grabbing one branch after another as swung herself forward. All the while making some monkey sounds as well.

Reaching the climax of her swing, Kim proceed to grab a vine as she swung forward through the air. Giving off her jungle girl call.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Kim called, placing her hand to her mouth.

Kim lowered her hand as she turned forward. When she suddenly heard her stomach growling.

"All this swinging really works up an appetite." Kim said to herself.

Grabbing hold of another vine, Kim's glance shifted down to a bunch of banana trees below. Kim gave a sly grin, grabbing another vine. She then swung down to some banana tree, swiping one from one of the bunches.

"Just a little pick-me-up." Kim commented.

She then swung up to the porch of her treehouse, where her new monkey family had made themselves at home. Since Kim became part of the family, the monkeys had moved in with Kim in her treehouse. While some of them caused a bit of a recues, Kim had certainly became used to the primates antics. Even partaking on it herself. Sitting over the porch or the branches above, the monkeys were partaking in their usual daily routines. Picking lice out from each other's furs or eating bananas.

Landing over the porch, Kim gave a monkey-like grunt to the monkeys who swung off onto the porch with her.

"That was fun. You guys really know how to swing." She grunted to them.

Learning to speak monkey was so much easier then learning Spanish back home. She had become quite fluent in it in just a few days. Not to mention, there was none of those tests to have to study for. They were always such a pain.

Pealing open the banana, she walked into the treehouse, where some of her fellow primates. Inside, the monkeys were either hanging from the ceiling or perched in the window or shelves. She walked over to the hammock that she she slept in. She laid down with a sigh of relief before taking a bit of the banana.

"I never thought living with monkeys would be this fun. Usually I'm fighting them dressed like ninjas." Kim said, rolling her eyes.

"Now that I think about, Monkey Fist was kind of forcing them to be his lackeys."

Kim rolled her yes, groaning.

"Monkey fist. More like Monkey wannabe." Kim sighed.

"Those Monkeys shouldn't be used as ninjas. They should be allowed to be free in the jungle like all of you."

The small Monkey, Mickey leaped up onto her shoulder, grunting to her. Kim smiled, nodding her head.

"You said it, Mickey." Kim said, taking a bite of her banana.

If only she could see the look on Monkey Fist's face if he found out she became a monkey herself. And a better one at that. Minus all the fur, second set of hands and tail. Not that she needed them. No doubt the master of Monkey Kung fu would go ape himself.

Unlike Bonnie. Ugh, Bonnie.

If she ever found out that Kim was living with Monkeys, she would never let her live it down. Not that she cared what she would think. If she was being honest, the monkeys had more class then Bonnie ever did.

"Still... I kind of miss going on those old missions." Kim insisted to Mickey.

"The Jungle is fun and all. But I kind of miss the thrill of those old missions. I wish something like that would happen here in the jungle."

There was suddenly a familiar elephants trumpet coming from outside the treehouse. Kim quickly snapped to attention.

"That sounds like Ned!" The Jungle Girl proclaimed.

Scrambling out of her hammock, Kim and Mickey quickly rushed out through the entrance of the treehouse. It was there she saw Ned standing below the treehouse, raising up his trunk to them as he trumpeted to her. Something he would usually do when there was trouble in the jungle. Grabbling a vine, Kim slid down to Ned.

"What's the Sitch, Ned?" Kim asked, curiously.

Ned raised his trunk as he uttered a low groan to her. Neds groans may of sounded as just that. But for a Jungle girl like Kim, they sounded like words spoken by an actual person. Like the Monkeys, Kim had learned to communicate with all the other animals of the Jungle. Including elephant, birds, apes, Zebra, lion and so on. After after all, one must be able to speak to the animals to be a jungle girl.

Though as she listened to Ned speak whatever news he brought, Kim squinted her eyes, curiously.

"What? A group of people are heading toward the Ancient ruins of Hubaba?" Kim asked.

Ned groaned, nodding his head to them. Causing Kim to turned, gazing ahead, sternly.

"No doubt they are treasure seekers looking to steal the Golden Monkey from the temple again." The Jungle Girl proclaimed to them

"Not if we had anything to say about it!"

Mickey smiled, nodding his head in agreement. Kim swung upward, onto the back of the elephant. She then turned and sat down over his back.

"Lets go, Ned!" Kim said, pointing back in the direction.

Ned trumpeted to her before turning and stomping off into the jungle.

The group of treasure seekers, consisting of three buff men made their way through the Jungle. Hacking through the lush jungle foliage in their wake, before emerging into the clearing. Overhead, they saw the ruins of the temple on the other side of the canyon. The man leading grinned in anticipation at the sight of the ancient ruins. No doubt harboring all sorts of untold riches that would have set them up for life.

Though they had their set on one treasure in particular.

"There it is, gentlemen. The Ruins of Hubaba!" The lead Treasure hunter proclaimed.

"Home to the Golden Monkey."

He then pulled out the map he had from his side, unraveling it. Over the map, they saw what looked to be a golden monkey. A ancient relic that was said to be made of solid gold. No doubt worth millions to the right buyer.

"And when we get our hands on it, it's going to make us Millions." He said.

The other members of his group all chuckled with anticipation. The man then rolled up the map as they made their way down the path toward the ruins.

Ned stampeded through the jungle at great speed and strength of an entire herd. From over the elephant's back, Kim was leaning forward with a stern expression. As she wasn't about to let a bunch of treasure hunters steal from the ruins. But there was a small feeling of excitement as well. Feeling like she was going on one of her old missions. Stopping bad guys from robbing from museums or government laboratories.

Only this time, she was going to stop a bunch of treasure hunters from stealing from some ancient ruins. Not out of the ordinary as a super spy. But it was defiantly essential for a jungle girl. After all, when one is a Jungle Girl, one must always be weary of any trouble makers in the jungle. Whether they were hunters or treasure seekers.

Kim peered ahead, placing her hand over her eyes, she scanned the thick jungle foliage. From overhead, she noticed a clearing just ahead through the think dense jungle. She then pointed at the clearing ahead.

"Over there!" Kim proclaimed.

With a loud trumpet of his long trunk, Ned charged ahead through the thick dense jungle. Emerging from the brush into the clearing, where he quickly slid to a stop before the edge of the ledge. Leaping down from off Neds back, Kim came to gaze upon the ruins of the temple overhead. She then heard Mickey hooting over her shoulder, causing her to glance to him.

"What is it, Mickey?" Kim asked, curiously.

Mickey pointed down toward the Temple. It was there she saw what she what she assumed to be the treasure hunters, making their way into the temple. Kim squinted her eyes, inquisitively. Seeing the ones she assumed to be going after the Golden Monkey. Ned gave a worried trumpeted to the Jungle girl.

"Not if we have something to say about it. Come on, mickey!" Kim proclaimed, racing down the hill.

The three treasure hunters made their way through the the hallways of the temple. A simple torched used to light their way. It wasn't long before they emerged into a large room filled with all sorts of treasures that would enthrall any treasure hunter. All with the hopes and dreams of becoming rich for the rest of their lives. Though despite how tempting they may be, there was only one they had set their sights on.

Turning to gaze at the Centre of the room, they saw the golden idol, prompted up over an alter. The lead treasure hunter grinned with anticipation.

"There it is." The man said, walking up to the alter.

Kim peered into the treasure room from the entrance of the hallway. Inside, she saw the treasure hunters walking over toward the alter to the golden monkey. What she expected they would be after. Though seeing the golden idol for herself, Kim was all but amazed to say the least.

"Wow, that thing really is pure Gold." Kim said.

Kim's gave shifted down back to the Treasure Hunters.

"We need to get the jump on them." Kim proclaimed to them.

Over her back, Mickey grunted as he pointed up at some vines that were hanging from above. The perfect way to get a jump on the treasure hunters. Kim nodded her head in agreement.

"Good Find, Mickey." Kim whispered before making her way over to a nearby pillar.
