I want to establish some sort of
small friendship with Bakugou and
Tomomi is that the rivalry between
Shoto and him is more intense because
someone they both care for is in between
them. It's going to start off slowish but
I'm not going to rush anything at the same
time. Tomomi, while seemingly a cold and emotionless person, is actually very
nice and friendly to everyone ( except to Mineta ) and I think it would be cute to
see Bakugou ( her complete opposite ) get
secretly protective and jealous when it comes
to her.
Please comment and vote, I love
reading reactions and funny comments.
Also, I feel like I'm spelling Shoto's name wrong so I'm going to spell it
with a u from now on.

"Okay Class, since it is the second day of school, I figured our first assignment should have something to do with getting to know everyone so that there are no pressure in making friends and working together."

Like any other high school, U.A still had regular classes in addition to hero training. They still did math, science, English and history. Just to make sure their future heroes have a proper education.

Bakugou thought it was stupid but he didn't worry about it. He didn't worry about anything. He was a very smart kid, despite his explosive personality and aggressive demeanor. But despite all of that, he was a very smart kid academically.

That didn't make this class any less boring.

"Now, with that being said, our first project of the semester will be built on creating that bond. So I will be pairing you up in twos and for the next three weeks, I want you and your partner to bond and get to know each other. As proof of your findings, you must write five things you learned about your partner and five things you like about them." The teacher explained. "By the way, we will be watching you for progress reports so you actually do the project instead of faking it through."

Great, I have to be stuck with some second rank sidekick for three weeks...This sucks Bakugou thought, leaning on his chair. He looked around the classroom to see if someone was even worthy enough to keep him at least a little bit interested.

He already knew who Kirishima was, they known each other for a while. He did not want to be paired with Denki, that discount pikachu. He would only piss him off.

Pink Cheeks was out of the question and so was everyone else in this class. It was then he realized that he didn't really like any of these people. And he didn't want to get to know any of them.

"And lastly, Bakugou Katsuki," the teacher suddenly said, bringing back to reality. "You will be paired up with Todoroki Tomomi."

WHAT!? Bakugou's eyes widened as he was thoroughly perplexed. I GOTTA BE PAIRED UP WITH THAT DAMN FROST BITE!? FUCK!

Tomomi, however, felt indifferent with the revelation. School work was always serious to her and if she had to be paired with someone as narcissistic as him to get a good grade, she would only have to deal with it.

The bell ranged for lunch time as the teacher dismissed everyone.

Tomomi stood up and gathered her bag, waiting for Shouto. "Katsuki?" She said, turning to her angry partner. Who was too busy stuffing things in his bag and mumbling incoherent things under his breath.

How...interesting.

"Katsuki," She tried again, standing right in front of his desk.

"What!?" He barked out viciously, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "I don't have all day, Frost Bite, so make it quick."

"Well if we want to pass this project, you should make time." She said in that trademark calm voice she always talks in. Even when she's being sarcastic.

And that made Bakugou irritated to the core. Why the hell was she so calm and cool all the time? Her and that brother of hers were creepy. No matter how pretty she was.

But he'll never say that.

"Don't think just because we're stuck with each other that we'll be friends, you're still very much beneath me in all ways."

"Spoken like a true narcissist." Tomomi replied, fishing for something in her bag. "This has my number on it. In order to have the best grade, we must start now."
Bakugou looked at the white card in her hand as she stuck it out to him. This girl is obviously always looking for the best. If yesterday didn't tell him, it was doing it now.

He saw the way she looked slightly disappointed when she got third place in the event that Aizawa put them through. She must be used to being the best. Much like himself.

Bakugou scoffed, swiping the card from her hand. "Whatever. You better not slow me down, popsicle."

Tomomi just offered him a closed eye smile, with her head tilted to the side a little. "Let's do our best."

The blonde's breath hitched in his throat at the sight of her smile. This was probably the second time he was caught off guard by her smile. Which contrast to her cold and stoic aura she radiated.

"Tomo," Shouto suddenly appeared next to his sister. Not paying any attention to Bakugou. "We should hurry to the cafeteria."

Tomomi nodded before giving Bakugou one last smile as her brother began tugging her with him by her hand. "Good afternoon, Katsuki."

As soon as the twins left the classroom, Bakugou couldn't help but think about her a little. And that weird ass way she switched her emotions from sarcasm and coldness to being very kind. It nearly gave him whiplash.

"BAKUGOU, YOU LUCKY BASTARD!" A loud ass voice rung in his ears. Which he recognized it to be that stupid blonde guy named Denki.

Him and Mineta ( that small pervert ) were hugging each other while crying dramatically. Tch, weaklings.

"BAKUGOU IS PAIRED UP WITH THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN OUR CLASS! WHAT A PRIVILEGE!" Mineta yelled with tears swiggling down his face.

"SWITCH PARTNERS WITH ME, PLEASE!" Denki continued, grabbing his arm.

Bakugou growled, yanking his arm away from him. "Get off of me, dumbass!" He growled, walking away from them. "Losers"

These three weeks will either be long or maybe worthwhile. Only time will tell.

"You can switch partners with me, if you are uncomfortable."

On the way to school the next day, Shoto and Tomomi talked like usual. As they made their way to the entrance gates, he couldn't help but feel a bit worried about this project. The objective was to diminish new year pressure and build bonds but with someone like Bakugou Katsuki, could that really be achieved?

On top of that, he was extremely protective of his twin sister. Even though she was capable of taking care of herself and he would let her, he was still her brother first. Her older brother by 2 minutes. And the thought of her and a boy together, it didn't sit right with him.

But he didn't want to hover and he could see Tomomi is still learning a bit about how to socialize with others around her age. She couldn't always stay by his side. Tomomi was independent and Shoto couldn't help but admire that about her.

Tomomi moves a strand of red hair out of her eyes before answering. "Someone is worried." She joked lightly, flashing him a small and playful grin. To which, Shoto scoffed a bit. Giving her a soft nudge on her shoulder.

"I'm just being a brother, is all."

"And I appreciate it." Tomomi replied back, truly meaning it. She was grateful for Shoto.

"TODOROKI!" some yelled out as the twins made it to class. The two simultaneously turned their heads to the source, not sure of who they were taking to.

"There are two of us." Shoto reminded, crossing his arms. "To whom are you talking to?"

( I feel like that's going to be a thing in this book. Especially since they are twins. )

It was Kirishima, who happened to be Shoto's partner in the project. "To my partner, of course!" The happy red head said, walking I'm over to them. "Hey, Tomo-chan ~!"

"Good morning, Kirishima." She formally greeted with a small smile.

Kirishima chuckled. This girl was so polite and formal, it was actually very cute. Which is surprising because he wondered how was she going to deal with Bakugou's constant brash behavior. Especially to her.
He remembered his ranting yesterday during lunch. What an interesting moment.

"I can't believe I was paired with that damn frost bite!" Bakugou grumbled, clearly not liking the arrangements. He had been mumbling about her the entire start of lunch and honestly, Kirishima lost count with how many times he has called her any insult that has anything to do with ice.

From 'Popsicle', 'Block of ice, to his personal favorite "Frost Bite".

"She's only going to slow me down," he said, crossing his arms and glaring at nothing. "I should've just switched partners with that stupid wannabe pikachu."

"You don't even know her yet, Bakubro." Kirishima chuckled out, leaning against the locker next to his. "I don't think this could hurt you. Maybe someone like her would be good in your life. . . . . Maybe you could learn how to chill."

"I AM AS COOL AS ICE, SHARK TEETH! AND I DON'T NEED TO KNOW HER IF SHE'S MY ENEMY!" Bakugou yelled angrily at him.

"Jeez, calm down." Kirishima waves his hands at him. "I'm just saying, she's a nice girl. . . . . her demeanor betrays her kindness, yes, but she seems serious about knowing you. Even if it's for a grade."

Bakugou didn't want to admit it but he was right. He has never met someone who could rebuttal his words back with a quickness and then turn around and be nice to him. It was very weird. But he would be lying if he said he wasn't curious at all.

"Grrr, I still don't like it."

"You don't have to be friends, just do it for an A." He offered his advice. "Besides, I know you won't lose to Midoriya...who's already made progress with his partner."

"What!?" Bakugou gasped, looking at him with bugged out eyes. "There is no way that damn Deku is already making progress!"

Kirishima smirked mischievously. The only way to get him to do anything was to provoke his competitive attitude and who's the best candidate for that? Midoriya.

"Oh suuure! Him and his partner is getting on very well." He presses on, leaning over his shoulder. "I heard he's already written his essay."

"I WILL NOT LOSE TO THAT STUPID LOSER!'" as expected, Bakugou exploded with fury while Kirishima laughed a little to himself. His plan worked. It always did.

Kirishima might have lied and potentially got Midoriya yelled at or beat up but at least Bakugou took his advice...sort of.

"Just thought I'd make myself more acquainted, partner." He said, patting Shoto's back rather hard, making him fall forward slightly. "Since we're supposed to be stuck together, why not?"

"You are my brothers partner?" Tomomi asked curiously, looking at the two.

Shoto looked slightly annoyed at him for that hard back slap. Which the red head didn't pay any mind. "Unfortunately, yes." Shoto replied, shooting him a mini glare.

"Aww, come on, Todoroki, I ain't that bad."

"Prove me wrong, then." Shoto shot back mildly cold. Kirishima could definitely tell Tomomi was the nicer twin out of the two.

"Hey, Frost Bite!"

The three turned to see Bakugou with his permanent frown in his face enter the classroom with his arms crossed. He walked over to her. "Look, just because you and I are stuck together, doesn't mean we'll be friends after this. But I don't want to lose to no one so meet me in the hall during lunch."

"I would appreciate it if you didn't refer to my sister as frost bite." Shoto spoke up, slightly frowning. This was what he was worried about. "She has a name. Learn how to use it."

"What did you say, icy hot?" Bakugou asked, threateningly.

"Come on, you two. We're all friends here," Kirishima tried to calm everyone down. "Let's not fight on the third day of school."

"Shoto, I'm alright." Tomomi reassured, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Shoto looked at his sister with softened eyes before looking back at the ash blonde and his eyes hardened again. "Watch yourself, Bakugou." was all he said before walking to his seat.

Bakugou scoffed, disappointed that he didn't get to fight him. "You better watch your back, half and half bastard." And then he walked over to his seat, leaving Kirishima and Tomomi standing there.

Kirishima sighed audibly. He should have known this plan might backfire. Bakugou couldn't stop himself from being a jerk for even 3 seconds and Shoto seemed like the type to never back down.

"My apologies, Kirishima." Tomomi apologized kindly. Which caught him off guard.

"Huh? Whatcha sorry for?"

"That you had to see my brother that way." She answered. "He often times do not remember that I am capable of taking care of myself. His protective instincts tend to run away with him."

"Oh yeah...you don't need to apologize, Tomo-chan~, brothers are like that." He reassured, patting her on the back.

"Tomo-chan~!" The two heard Uraraka's voice call her. She looked to see said girl waving her down towards Momo's seat.

With one last nod, Tomomi smiled at him. "Have a good morning, Kirishima."

"You can just call me Kiri-chan!" He yelled after her as she moved past him. As soon as she met up with the girls, he sighed. Already regretting his plan.

She is way too kind for a guy like him.

"Shall we begin?" Tomomi asked, pulling out a notebook and pen. As soon as the bell rung for lunch time, she immediately met Bakugou in the hallways near his locker.

"Well, damn, you work fast." Bakugou grumbled, still not liking the fact that he had to actually spend time with her. For all he knows, she could be fishing for dirt on him as a rogue to want to get to know him.

For all he knows, Kirishima could be in on this.

"Well we only have two weeks after this." She blandly reminded him, still ready for him to start talking. "And you would much rather be somewhere else, right?"

I see no moss grows over her eyes Bakugou thought, slightly shocked by her harsh honesty. For a block of ice, she sure does show a lot of honesty. Which I can respect.

"Are you just a walking block of ice? Do you even know how to socialize?" He asked coldly, thinking how weird she is.

Tomomi, unfazed by his tone, just blinked at him. "Well, no but I certainly wouldn't learn from you. To be honest, I was slightly disappointed when I was paired up with you."

Bakugou felt as if someone hit him over the head with their fist with each word she spoke. D-DISAPPOINTED!? WHO THE HELL DOES SHE THINK SHE IS!?

"But then I thought." She carelessly continued. "It would make a good record if I was the one to break through your walls."

Bakugou suddenly looked at her with curiosity which then quickly turned back to disdain. "Tch! You would be lucky to even get my last name by the time this is over, Frost Bite."

"Katsuki, I do know your last name-"

"YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL I AM TALKING ABOUT! DON'T GET SMART ASSY WITH ME!"

"I'm not. I am just stating facts-"

"ARE YOU ALWAYS THIS BLUNT!?"

"Is that not how you treat a friend? With honesty?" She asked, genuinely curious.

Noticing the look, Bakugou calmed down and sighed annoyingly. "You're such a weird girl. And don't call me Katsuki, just Bakugou is fine."

"But isn't that informal, Katsuki-chan?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.
The sight tugged at his heartstrings and he felt his face grow hot with how adorable she looked and really is.

"W-WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU TRYING TO DO, YOU FROST BITE?!" He yelled at her accusingly. "ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE ME A DAMN HEART ATTACK!? STOP THAT!"

Tomomi had no idea what he was talking about at all. How...weird?

"I was not aware that I was doing something." She said, looking around herself. "Had I done something wrong?"

HOW IS SHE THIS INFURIATINGLY CUTE?! I MUST DESTROY HER! Bakugou thought angrily. "L-Let's just go somewhere else!"

He grabbed her elbow and began dragging her towards the outdoors area. Tomomi just followed along, in shock with how fast he was pulling her.

"You're going first, Popsicle." Bakugou said, leaning under the tree just outside the school cafeteria. Tomomi sat on the bench in front of him. "I don't feel like sharing anything today."

"That is fair." She said, crossing her legs. "What is it that you want to know?"

"Ummm..." to be honest, Bakugou hadn't thought that far yet. He didn't know what he wanted to ask. To be honest, he expected her to argue with him.

"What's you're favorite...color? I don't know." He mumbled, frowning.

"Oh! My favorite color is ice blue and lavender." She smiled, thinking of her favorite colors. "Both are calm and serene. What are your favorite colors?"

"Ermm...I like red." He grumbled again. "And I like black."

"Very strong willed colors." Tomomi said, writing it down. "Dark but heroic and cunning."

"You sound like you're gathering information on a criminal rather than making a friend." He commented, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Haven't you ever interacted with other kids before?"

Tomomi paused, not looking at him. But instead, she placed her own down and fiddled with her fingers. Bakugou didn't know if he struck a nerve or said the wrong thing. But her sudden cold aura became evident.

"Shoto and I weren't allowed to have friends." She quietly admitted.

Bakugou's eyebrows furrowed slightly. Wondering what she meant by that. What was up with her and her mysterious vibe. It made him suddenly want to solve it.

She looked back at him with a small smile. As if nothing happened. "It's not something I want to talk about now. Sorry."

And it was in that moment, Bakugou knew Tomomi Todoroki was a mystery he had to solve.

So sorry that this one was shorter
than my other updates, I've been
working nonstop lately and I didn't
want to leave you all hanging.

So this is how her hero suit will
look like for future updates.

But like she doesn't always wear the
face mask and the color scheme is
black and ice blue. ( not my art btw this only for references ) and she's wearing black gloves.

What should her hero name be?
