Jake's Mother: [looking around in amazement] What is this place? It's so different from our time.
[Cut to a flashback of Jake's mother in the 1600s, using her powers to protect her village from dark forces.]
Jake's Mother: [voiceover] I am a witch, I have been searching for him for so long, and finally, I have found a spell to transport me to this time.
[Cut back to present day. Jake's mother looks determined as she starts walking down the street.]

[Cut to Jake out with the Avengers, having a night out. Thor is drinking and laughing, Captain Britain and Scarlet Witch are deep in conversation, Loki is causing mischief, and Scott Lang and Tony Stark are discussing technology.]
Jake: [raising his glass] To new friends and adventures.
[Just then, Jake's mother enters the bar, causing everyone to stop and stare.]
