Here it was. The day has finally came. After a long week of school and a weekend of training with Shoto, Tomomi felt ready for anything the morning of the Sports Festival. Over the weekend, the twins trained together from sunrise to nightfall, wanting to be perfect for this game. And although Tomomi believed in good sportsmanship, she was a very competitive girl.

While Tomomi walked into school with good spirits, Shoto could only think of one thing at the moment. And that was to be the best. And he was determined to do that without using his fire quirk. He wanted to show his father that he didn't need him or anyone else. He was going to be the best on his own terms.

"Man...I wanted to wear my costume." A student pouted, hating that he had to wear the school's gym clothes.

"To keep everything fair, we can't."

Tomomi and Shoto walked into the classroom already dressed when Shoto spotted Midoriya. Tomomi watched as he frowned and decided to walk over to the green haired boy.

"What are you doing, Shoto?" Tomomi whispered worriedly as she watched the entire scene.

"Midoriya." He called, gaining his attention.

"What is it, Todoroki?"

"Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you." Shoto replied bluntly, glaring at him. Which scared Midoriya and anyone else that had been paying attention.

"But...All Might has an eye on you, doesn't he?" He asked out sheepishly, growing nervous the more Shoto distastefully stared at him with that scary look in his eyes.

"I'm not trying to pry about that, but we will beat you." Shoto concluded, still staring at him with an icy glare.

Tomomi could tell Midoriya was scared of her brother so she quickly walked over to them. She placed a hand on his shoulder and gave Midoriya an apologetic look. "My apologies, Midoriya. May the best student win."

Before he could give his own encouragement, Shoto scoffed, "We're not here to play at being friends, Tomomi." The way he sort of snapped at his own sister threw the green haired boy all off and, admittedly, it threw everyone else off as well.

Anytime anyone saw the twins together, Shoto was so nice to her and cared for her. To see him snap at his own sister was a shocker. But Tomomi didn't look fazed by it at all. In fact, she looked like she's dealt with this before.

Tomomi sighed. She wished he didn't let what father said get to his head. She wished she didn't listen, either. It was nerve-wrecking but she was determined to show how good of a fighter she really is.

With one last apologetic look, Tomomi turned to walk away from the two. If Shoto wanted to be like that, so be it. He wasn't going to get in her way of winning.

"You can definitely tell which twin is the nicer one." Denki whispered. "While Shoto seems like he hates everyone and everything, Tomo-chan is very cordial and regal. But looking at her, no one could tell at first glance."

"Because when she isn't smiling or with friends, she always has this cold look on her face." Kirishima agreed, looking over at the twins. "Their personalities really do differ but are the same, I see."

He remembered the first hero training they had. When she was facing off Bakugou. The look in her eyes just screamed stoicism. It threw him all off when he first talked to her and realized how nice she really was. It was crazy. He had no doubt that if anyone would get first place in any of the rounds, she would. And so would Shoto.

The stadium erupted in cheers as the festival began. Present Mic started shouting encouragements and telling everyone in attendance and those watching at him about the festival and the classes.

"IT'S TIME FOR THE STUDENTS TO ENTER THE FIRST YEAR STAGE!"

Everyone cheered as the class of 1-A entered the stadium and walked over to the stage. They were the most watched class because of the recent attack on them. The heroes all surveyed the class and began talking about each of the students. They conversed about each student carefully until they came across Tomomi.

"I'll say, Endeavor sure knows how to breed 'em." Hawks commented, looking right at the twins. "She's the one that faired well with a villain?"

"That's what Aizawa and Thirteen said." Miruko replied, looking at her curiously. When she found out about Tomomi Todoroki and how she nearly died fighting a villain by herself, she began to be curious about her. There was something truly special about that girl.

After the other classes made it to center stage, Midnight, the R-Rated Hero, walked on stage in a revealing hero costume. And of course, most of the boys were heart eyes. But none more than Mineta, which made Tomomi sneer at him in disgust. Also, she was sitting in between him and Tokoyami.

"Quiet, everyone!" She said in the mic. "Representing the students of 1-A is...Todoroki Tomomi!"

Shocked as the audience cheered. All eyes were on her as she calmly stood. She took deep breaths as she made her way to the stage and stood in front of the mic. On the outside, she was emotionless but on the inside, she was a nervous wreck. Having this many people watch her, she didn't know if she was prepared for that. But be that as it may, she had to push those feelings aside and show the other class that she was strong.

"Thank you for picking me." She thanked Midnight. "As a representative of Class 1-A, I will wholeheartedly wish the other classes the best of luck and I hope we all can do our best. We pledge to try our hardest and do our best out there."

She fininshed with a closed eye smile, making a few boys swoon dreamily at her as the crowd cheered her on for her good sportsmanship. "Hey, shouldn't someone who took the exams be a rep?" Denki slurred as he stared at Tomomi with love in his eyes.

"Who cares...She's perfect." Sero followed along, smiling like a goof at her. "Would you rather have someone like Bakugou up there? No doubt, he would mess it up for us all. He already made all of the other classes hate us, why add on to it?"

"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN, TAPE BOY!?" Bakugou growled angrily at him.

Tomomi made her way back to her seat as Midnight announced the first round. "Now, let's start right away!" She announced. "Now, here is the fateful first game!"

The screen revealed their first game. Obstacle Race. Tomomi and Shoto looked at each other as Midnight explained the rules.

"All 11 classes will participate in this race. This course will be the outer circumference of this stadium, about four kilometers! Our school's selling point is freedom! As long as you stay on the course, it doesn't matter what you do!"

Tomomi smirked slightly. This should be fun.

"Now, take your places, everyone!"

All of the students took their place at the starting line, waiting for the race to start. Tomomi took a deep breath and looked up to see Endeavor looking down at them with a condescending look in his eyes. She hated that look with a burning passion. So she ignored him and focused on winning.

"START!"

The race has started. All students took off running, fighting to be the first to win. Shoto and Tomomi were neck at neck as they ice surfed through the tunnel. The twins exchanged looks to each other as they both wanted to be the first ones to the first obstacle.

"LOOKS LIKE CLASS 1-A'S VERY OWN TODOROKI TWINS, THE ELEGANT AND REGAL TOMOMI AND THE PRODIGY SHOTO, ARE BOTH FIGHTING FOR THE FIRST PLACE SPOT!"

"I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY!" Bakugou yelled angrily at the two as he was not too far behind them.

"You'll have to catch up first, Katsuki-chan." Tomomi mumbled, noticing a group of robots coming towards them.

Here's the first obstacle. "OBSTACLES HAVE SHOWN UP SUDDENLY! STARTING WITH THE BARRIER!"

"So this is what they used in the general entrance exams?" Shoto asked, stopping in his tracks. Tomomi stopping right next to him.

"Appears so." She said, sticking out her hand to her brother. Shoto looked down at her hand in confusion before she looked at him. "The stupid old man is watching, let's give him something to watch."

Shoto finally understood what she was doing and decided a temporary team up is necessary for now. "Just remember, I plan on winning." He said, waving his hand over hers, making ice shards slowly circle in between their hands.

"You remember, I'm the better ice quirk." She replied back, as ice began forming around their hands in very solid glove.

The twins both ran at top speed with their fists ready to break down the robots. They collided with the huge robot, punching a hole through it and soon, they mowed through the other robots together. The move astonished the audience and the other students.

"THE TODOROKI TWINS FROM CLASS 1-A MOWED THROUGH THE ROBOTS IN ONE CRITICAL MOVE! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DISPLAY OF STRENGTH AND SKILL!"

"TOMOMI TODOROKI ELEGANTLY FREEZES THE ROBOTS AND CRUSH THEM LIKE IT'S NOTHING!"

"The twins seem to bounce off each other perfectly." Aizawa commented, looking at the two. "From what I have seen, both Shoto and Tomomi, though one with two elements and the other with one, balance each other very elegantly. If this were a team effort, they would surely have this race in the bag."

The second obstacle came and they had to either jump through the trees or slide under. Either way, they had to stay within the course. The twins stopped for a moment. Tomomi looked up and began brain storming as she heard her classmates and other students closely behind.

Shoto flashed her a smirk as he began sliding under with his ice while Tomomi threw her hands to the side and boosted herself upwards, jumping from rock to rock as ice was used to help her stay airborne and not fall.

"Miss Todoroki is certainly the more regal one out of the twins." Mountain Lady commented, impressed by her flips and elegant movement. "The way she is utilizing her ice to do more movements is fascinating."

"As expected from a recommendation students." Snipe added.

"Tomomi has always been my most elegant student." Aizawa said. "From day one, I knew she was more intricate but more skilled with her quirk than Shoto is when he uses ice. While Shoto is definitely more tactical and skillful at combat, Tomomi executes battle strategy effortlessly."

"It appears she has a natural fight or flight tick." Midnight pointed out.

Miruko said nothing as she stared at the teenager intently. Yeah, she was definitely interested in Tomomi and she wanted to see if she could keep her interest.

The next obstacle was Minefield. Still a neck and neck, Tomomi and Shoto stopped. "It'd be stupid to use our quirks." She strategized. "Not unless we want to be blown to bits. This one, we have to think carefully, not recklessly."

"That could be a problem." Shoto pointed out, hearing an explosion behind them. Before Tomomi could ask what he meant, Bakugou run past them, aiming a blast at Shoto. Which almost hit the both of them had not Tomomi and Shoto dodged it.

"BASTARD, DON'T DECLARE WAR ON THE WRONG PERSON."

"AND NOW, WE'VE GOT SOMEONE NEW IN THE LEAD!"

Tomomi felt anger rise in her veins as she then heard another boom behind them, while those two kept shoving each other. She looked to see Midoriya running at a inhuman speed level. Making the two boys go after him.

Tomomi frowned. If she wasn't going to be first place, she sure as hell was going to make second. Because both Shoto and Bakugou were acting like stupid imbeciles.

So quickly catching up to Midoriya, Tomomi gathered ice and boosted both herself and Midoriya further ahead of them, shocking everyone.

"IT APPEARS THAT THE ICE EMPERESS TOMOMI TODOROKI HAS BOOSTED BOTH HERSELF AND YOUNG MIDORIYA AHEAD OF THE RACE!"

"ERASER HEAD, YOUR CLASS IS AMAZING!" Present Mic shouted, too loudly for Aizawa's liking. Considering he was standing right next to him.

"Seems like she's demonstrating that battle strategy skill." He only said, paying more attention to the race.

In the end, Midoriya made it back as first place, making everyone cheer him on. Tomomi slide into the stadium, claiming the second place spot.

The stadium cheered on loudly as Tomomi smiled to herself. She may not have gotten first place but she was happy that someone as deserving as Midoriya claimed it. She could tell this meant a lot to him and, as much as she wanted to prove something to herself, she remembered that there are others who don't have that advantage.

Knowing his secret, she was proud to see how hard Midoriya worked for this.

"Y-You could've won." Midoriya stuttered out, still stunned that Tomomi helped him win. "You could have easily passed me and take the first place...But you didn't...why?"

"Because I believe in you, Midoriya." She said kindly, a gentle smile gracing her lips. "Now I want you to believe in yourself and win at your best."

Midoriya stared at her with wide eyes. He was feeling a lot of things at the moment. But gratitude was the one thing he felt the most. And he could not thank her enough for believing in him as much as she has shown. Tomomi was truly a gem and a great friend.

With a big smile, he made a promise to always do his best in the festival and he always kept his promise.

There's gonna be a lot
of familial drama and
friendship drama in the
festival because of the
choices Tomomi make.

So buckle up and get
ready for the stressful
rollercoaster you're about
to go through.

happy reading!

"I'm forever grateful to have a friend like you, Tomo-chan." Midoriya said sincerely as he placed a hand on her shoulder. Tomomi smiled back at him.

"It's okay, I was just doing what any good friend would've done."

From afar, there was Shoto and Bakugou coming out of the tunnel. When the two saw the physical contact between the two students, they glared daggers into Midoriya's head. One because he was touching his best friend and the other because he simply didn't like him.

Soon more students came out one by one, ending the race completely.

"You did really good, Momo-chan." Tomomi complimented, hugging her friend.

Momo, although stunned by the sudden contact, hugged her back and smiled kindly. "You did beautifully, as well."

Tomomi was about to say something but she saw Mineta touch Mina inappropriately from the corner of her eye. So she detached herself from her friend, blew light blew aura into her hand creating a super hard snow ball and threw it at Mineta so hard, it knocked him out on the ground.

"W-Worth it." Mineta stuttered out, rubbing his very bruised head gingerly.

"Imbecile." She snarled in disgust. Momo shook her head in agreement.

The next game was called Calvary Battle. The rules were as follows: each team had to be in a team of four and one member was hoisted up on the other members shoulders and they had to try to steal the other team's bandanas and keep it for the 15 minutes they had. Each team is worth a total of it's members points. Stolen bandanas must be worn from the neck up. Seems easy enough, right?

"Team up with me!" Sero begged Bakugou. Soom, more students all began following his lead.

"What? Bakugou, team up with me!"

But Bakugou wasn't looking at them. He was looking for someone else amongst their begging. "Wait...what are your names and what are your quirks, again?"

Which made them feel crestfallen. But not surprised by his actions. In all honesty, Bakugou was looking for Tomomi. So that he could have her in his team before Midoriya or Shoto could ask her.

Meanwhile, Tomomi was trying to dodge the boys that kept asking her to join their class' team. It wasn't anything against them, she just wasn't familiar with the others like she was with her own classmates. She would much rather be with someone she was familiar with.

"T-Tomo-chan?" She heard a gentle voice call for her behind her. She turned to see Midoriya behind her with a shy look on his face. His face was pink and he was fiddling with his fingers, "Would you like to join my team?"

Tomomi smiled at him gently. He was just too cute for his own good and he was very smart so being on his team would be very beneficial. "Of course, Midoriya-chan."

Midoriya looked slightly shocked by her acceptance but he was happy, nonetheless. She was smart and could execute plans and strategy perfectly. And that went perfectly with his plan. "T-Thank you!" He thanked, smiling at her.

Tomomi bowed slightly, smiling back. "Of course, I hope we do our best."

They had to, considering he was the one with the most points. Any of the other students would be after him because of the amount of points they would gain just by stealing his bandana.

Bakugou angrily stared at Midoriya as he watched Tomomi join his team with Uraraka. It looked like it was be Tomomi, Midoriya, Tokoyami, and Uraraka. Not only was he angry over the fact that he was going to have to go against his best friend, he hated the fact that that bird bitch was near her.

Shoto glared at Midoriya with a burning hatred in his eyes. He was mad that his own sister would team up with him and he was mad that he didn't get to her sooner. Now he had to go against his sister because he wasn't fast enough and he hated Midoriya.

But both boys had the same agenda on their minds. They were going to go after Midoriya for those five million points first.

From afar, there were students from Class 1-B watching 1-A students. But none more than Neito Monoma. And he had an open distaste for the class. "Almost everyone here has their eye on Class 1-A." Monoma spoke, looking at them before his eyes zeroed onto Tomomi, who was greeting Midoriya and Uraraka. "Why is that? The only one that seems to be humbled is that Todoroki over there."

He smirked as his eyes traveled all over her body and to her face. "No matter...Let's show those arrogant Class A, guys...Starting with the beautiful Tomomi."

Oh yes, Monoma had his eyes on her, hoping their team would go against them. He saw what she could do with ice and he was determined to copy that power of hers. Wanting to know what it was like to have ice run in his veins.

Tomomi broke away from her picked team to prepare by herself when suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder.

Turning around, she saw a girl standing behind her. Her hair was only made up of vines and leaves. She had to be a few inches taller that her and she was very very pretty. "Yes?" Tomomi said, waiting for a response patiently. Her face free from any emotions.

The girl blushed pink when she actually spoke to her. She hadn't expected her to acknowledge her, given her previous opinion on 1-A all together. Then again, she was the only one in that class that showed great sportsmanship and decency. So it was the reason why kids from 1-B actually didn't think she was an arrogant student.

"M-My name is Ibara Shiozaki and I-I-I t-think you have very pretty eyes." She, Ibara, shyly complimented, feeling her face grow hotter the longer Tomomi stared at her.

Tomomi blinked at her a few times, noting her sheepish demeanor off the bat. She didn't seem like the shy type. Maybe it was just the moment she was in. Be that as it may, she appreciated the compliment.

"Thank you," Tomomi smiled, her icy light blue eyes sparkling in the sun as she did so. Which made Ibara even more shy.

She bowed her head and quickly ran away from her, covering her face in the process. Which confused the ice wielder. What just happened? She didn't know. How strange...

"Hey, what do you think of me recruiting that Todoroki?" Hawks suddenly asked Miruko, who was the only one actually listening to him. "Pretty good boost, if I do say so myself."

"There are two of them. Which one are you talking about?" Miruko replied, still staring at the students.

"I'm talking about that Tomomi Todoroki." He answered with a smirk. "She's the hot topic amongst the students right now. Wouldn't be bad if she came and worked under my agency, huh?"

"That's too bad, I have already decided to recruit her." Miruko smirked at him, "There's something special about her and I wanna see it for myself. She's gonna need a strong female mentor, not a boy."

Hawks chuckled wholeheartedly, pretending to be hurt by her words. But he knew she was joking around. "Ow, you really pulled my chain, huh? A civil disagreement would have been enough, Miru."

"I should be on the left." Tomomi said as their whole team huddled together to talk strategies to win the game and keep Midoriya safe. "That way I can slow down anyone who tries to attack us and Uraraka can serve as a defense. Tokoyami will be the middle, since he is the fastest one out of us."

"What about your brother?" Tokoyami pointed out. "From where I'm standing, he doesn't look too pleased to see you over here and Bakugou will surely come after us."

Tomomi looked over to her brother's team to see Shoto staring right back at her. The two held eye contact with each other. The icy glares they exchanged were enough to build up a lot of tension between the twins.

Shoto shared his anger towards his sister and Tomomi glared back, not letting him stunt her possibilities of winning. Even if she had to go through her own brother, she will. And the feeling was very much mutual.

"Shoto is smart." She said, turning away from him. "He's not foolish enough to go for Midoriya-chan right away. Bakugou, however." She glanced over to see the blonde yelling at his teammates over whatever it was he was mad about. "He's also smart but he is too reckless to utilize that intelligence fully. He'll go for Midoriya-chan because he wants to prove that he is the best out of all of us. That's why Toko-chan and I will act as the offense should he attack."

"She's right, Kaachan will come after me solely for the sake of winning." Midoriya said, thinking over a plan. "We should go after the other team's bandanas. Since Tomo-chan knows Todoroki-kun the best, if he decided to attack us, she could deal with him."

"Everyone is going to go after Midoriya, we have to collect as many as we can and protect him." Tomomi said, sternly. "Ready?"

"Yes!"

The teams got into position, Tomomi carried Midoriya's left leg while Uraraka carried his right. Tokoyami carried him on his back carefully. Each team looked at each other with much intensity in their eyes as they waited for the start of the game.

Midoriya tied his bandana across his forehead tightly just before the games could start.

"BEGIN!" Midnight yelled, signalling the start of the game.

All bets were off as Team Midoriya ran through the stadium. As expected, Tomomi could see many teams going after them. Mainly students from 1-B.

"Tomomi, on your left!" Tokoyami warned.

Tomomi saw a team with a blonde kid on top coming at them fast. "Let's see what you're made of, Class A idiots!" He said calmly but arrogantly as he tried to take Midoriya's bandana. But just before he could, Tomomi froze the ground where his right runner was, causing them to slip right past them.

"Arrogance will get you no where," She scolded. "Midoriya, now!"

Midoriya quickly grabbed his bandana as he pasted them, just before they could hit a wall. "It worked!" He celebrated, gripping the cloth.

"Tomomi Todoroki really is as smart as they say." Mountain Lady said, impressed yet again by her. "I can see why she is a hot topic, along side her brother and that Bakugou kid."

"Tomomi has always been one of my brightest students." Aizawa stated, "But intelligence aside, I've seen this girl's combat footage. She's stronger than she lets on...But something's holding her back and I don't know what it is."

Tomomi noticed the amount of kids from Class B that were coming after them, plus her own brother tried zeroing in on them a couple of times. Either way, they didn't matter. They let their jealousy cloud their judgement and that was their weakest point. Tomomi intended on using that weakness against them.

The game went on halfway through and no one was successful in taking Midoriya's points. The team fought through teams after teams just to finally come face to face with Shoto and his team.

Shoto glared at Midoriya, to which he returned the favor. Then his two colored eyes flickered to his sister to see that she was also glaring at him.

She suddenly realized what he was doing. He was distracting her while Denki got ready to zap her. With wide eyes, she quickly deflected his electricity and Tokoyami used his quirk to block the attack.

To create some distance, she stomped her feet and created a small ice berg.

'I nearly forgot how smart she was' Shoto thought, nearly smirking as he looked at the iceberg.

"This battle between siblings is getting intense." Hawks said, getting into the games as time was almost up.

"TIMES UP!" the end of the game was upon them and Team Midoriya was able to take the third place slot, behind Team Bakugou. Meaning they advanced to the next round. Anyone that didn't get to the scoreboard was to not participate in the next round, sadly.

Letting Midoriya fall, the team was happy to know they would be advancing on but they also felt bad for those in their class that wouldn't be participating.

"Hey," Tomomi said, walking over to Shoto, who's team took first place.

Shoto turned to his sister with a blank face. He was still upset over her choosing a different team than his but he was also happy to know she was advancing on. Still...Knowing that the next round would be combat, he was slightly worried that he would have to fight Tomomi.

"You did great out there." She complimented with a soft smile, indicating that she wasn't feeling any type of hard feelings for him almost getting her zapped.

Shoto couldn't help but smile back at his sister. She showed excellent battle strategy and intelligence. He couldn't be more proud of her. "You did, too."

Tomomi looked upward to see their father staring down at them, clearly upset that she was the one to get third place but he paid more attention to Shoto, anyways. "So next up is combat, huh?"

"Seems so." He said, also looking at his father with hard eyes. "Whatever happens, Tomo, I want you to promise me that you will win."

"What?" She said, puzzled by him. "I thought this meant a lot to you."

"It means more to you than it does to me." Shoto replied, giving her a stern look. "And I don't plan on using dad's quirk to win."

"When will you ever learn, big brother?" Tomomi snapped at him, giving him a cold glare. "You were born with both fire and ice...that means, it is your quirk. You can't win the right way without accepting who you really are."

Shoto stood there stunned by her words as she walked away from him. He often forgot how mature Tomomi was. Much more mature than him, often times and it showed gracefully. But still...He wasn't ready to even use that side of him yet.

Staring back at his father, he vowed to win. But he vowed to embarrass him by winning using his ice only. And that was exactly what he was going to do.

So this is the first of the
familial drama. This arc
is a Todoroki arc, after all
and you'll see that a lot

But don't worry, Bakugou
and Tomomi will have their
moment soon. I just want to
stick to the theme of the arc.

Tomomi is going to go through
a big change, as well so be ready..

Again, I'm sorry in advance.

AND WE ARE AT
THE COMBAT ROUND!

THIS ONE IS AN EXCITING
ONE SO BUCKLE UP!

also, this is why you
should never ever piss
off Tomomi Tododroki

don't be a ghost reader, please!...

All of the students moved to the back area of the stadium as they waited to see who they would be fighting in the next round. Once the first round was posted, those who would be fighting looked to see who they would be going against.

Tomomi looked to see that she would be fighting a student named Neito Monoma. She had a feeling of who he was. The one that was very egotistical during the last game.

"That's the copycat guy." Tokoyami informed, seemingly appearing out of no where. "Blonde guy, Best Jeanist wannabe."

Tomomi looked across the room of students to see who he was talking about. It was like he had a permanent smirk on his calm looking face. She definitely remembered who he was. But she never underestimated any of her opponents.

"How'd you get this information?" She asked her bird head friend.

Tokoyami closed his eyes and crossed his arms. "Your boyfriend wouldn't stop yelling about him."

Tomomi blushed and looked at him shocked by his teasing. "K-Katsuki-chan isn't my boyfriend!"

"I'm sorry, your guard dog." He teased more, looking at her with a humorous smirk. Tomomi blushed even harder, playfully glaring at him.

"Shut up!" She exclaimed, ducking her head lower. Tokoyami smirked and pat the top of her head gently.

"So this is the famous Tomomi Todoroki?" A voice interrupted their banters, causing them to turn to see none other than Neito Monoma standing there with a self praising smirk.

Tomomi faced him with a cold and emotionless stare while Tokoyami stood next to her. Their exchange gathered everyone's attention in the room.

"I've heard so much about you from others and I must say...I am impressed by your power." He said, walking closer to her, surveying her entire being.

Tomomi stood back, feeling slightly agitated by his closeness and lack of believing in personal space. Tokoyami protectively stood a little in front of her, not liking this guy at all.

"No matter," Monoma said leaning back. "You Class A students just think you're all that, huh? Someone has never humbled any of you yet and it's time we do so."

Tomomi glared at him as he continued his condescending ranting. Shinsou looked on from afar with curious eyes as he watched the ice wielder get angry. This ought to be interesting, he thought as he watched on.

"Especially you, Miss Todoroki." Monoma said, pointing at her with that permanent smirk. "One would think that almost dying by the hands of a villain would keep you and your class grounded but I see it only boosted your egos, huh? As impressive as your quirk is, it only seems like you're just a pretty face."

"Watch what the hell you say, you wannabe prince charming bitch!" Bakugou, suddenly appearing behind her, growled angrily. "You don't know a damn thing about what happened to her and you don't know a damn thing about our class!"

Unfazed by his tone, Monoma continued on with his insulting rant. "I do know that you all got lucky after that attack. Just like Miss Todoroki, here. She got lucky...And here I thought there was going to be a a steep competition but luck won't help you win against me."

Tomomi said nothing as she glared even harder at him. Her eyes started glowing a little as the entire room turned noticeably cold. So cold, that everyone began shivering.

"Did it suddenly get cold now?" A student from 1-B asked, rubbing his arms.

Shinso raised an eyebrow as he saw Tomomi's eyes get a little brighter than usual. The brighter her eyes got, the colder the room became. He wondered what really happened at the USJ to her to get her this angry when Monoma mentioned it. They said she nearly lost her life but that was all he heard of that. The school wanted to keep the incident under radar as the investigation still went on.

"You can be mad at how Bakugou acted towards you all you want but one thing you won't do is mock Tomo-chan's injury and our class." Kirishima spoke up, glaring at the blonde boy. "You have no idea what happened to us and if you think we wanted this type of attention after almost losing our lives, you and your classmates are dead wrong!"

Tomomi silenced everyone as she suddenly took slow steps towards Monoma. The closer she got, the more everyone got a little nervous. Her eyes were filled with a coldness that rivaled an iceberg. Her face was voided of any emotions and that was what made everyone watch in anticipation and anxiety.

Tomomi stopped right in front of him as he smirked down at her. She looked all over his face and, just like that, she turned and walked out of the room. The coldness lingering with her as she exited the room.

Confused by the action, everyone began muttering and chatting about what just happened. But silenced when Shoto Todoroki walked up Monoma with the same voided look on his face.

"You just made the biggest mistakes of your life." He said, crossing his arms. "You first mistake, Monoma, was pissing off my sister. Hell freezes over when she's mad and you're not ready for the raging blizzard she's about to deliver to you."

"Haha! Monoma's gonna get cruuuushed~" Denki laughed at him, almost feeling bad for him. Almost.

"And I'll be watching with a smile," Shoto said, flashing Monoma a smirk before walking away from him.

Shinso's interest in the young girl peaked as he watched the entire exchange. It made him very curious as to why she was so special to Class A. So, he decided to find out for himself.

Angrier than she has ever been, Tomomi walked down the empty hallway as the mini games continued on. Not interested in participating, Tomomi wanted to be left alone. What Monoma said to her did her a little, she will admit. But what got her angry was the fact that he was right. She did get lucky in that Villain attack. She was still a novice and she hated it.

She had spent all of her life preparing to be the best like her father wanted her to be and yet, she had been surviving on pure luck. It burned her to feel that way.

"Hey," a voice broke her out of her thoughts. She turned to see that guy from Class C. Shinsou, she remembered his name was. That's who Midoriya was fighting in the first rounds. He walked over to her and leaned next to her on the wall with his hands in his pockets.

"Hello," She greeted, slightly confused and wary of his presence. Sensing her emotions, Shinsou lifted his hands in defense. "Don't worry, Icicle, I only want to talk."

"About what?"

"Well, for one, that little display of emotions back there." He replied, shoving his hands back in his pockets. "He really did a number on you, huh?"

Tomomi frowned at him. Was he really here just to gloat or something? "Are you here to talk or insult me? If for the second option, then it is best that you stay out of my way."

Shinsou saw that he pushed a button. Letting him know that she wasn't as blocked away from others as she seemed. But he didn't want to make her mad. He genuinely wanted to talk to her. "Look, I'm sorry if I insulted you. I just wanted to talk."

"You have yet to tell me what it is that you have to say." She replied back, looking at him deadpanned.

"I just wanted to say, don't listen to that Grade A asshole." He said, noting the shocked look in her pretty light blue eyes. "He may think he's the one that will humble your class or whatever but...really, he's only a carbon copy of whoever he faces."

To say she was pleasantly surprised by his words was an understatement. Though, why was he doing this when he, himself, didn't like her classmates was the real question. There had to be a catch.

"I appreciate the concern but, why are you even telling me this?" She asked. "Why are you even here if you do not like me or my classmates?"

Shinsou shrugged, looking at her with his dark eyes. "Maybe I just don't like Monoma...Maybe I find you cute or maybe I do like you more than I like your classmates."

Tomomi blushed pink at his words but paid no attention to his compliments or teasing. Besides, whether she know it or not, her attention was elsewhere and not on him.

"Monoma talks a lot of crap for someone who can only copy people's quirks by touching them." Shinsou explained. "But I'll let you in on a secret that no one else knows...He can only copy the quirk to an extent. He can do only one dimensional attacks with the copied quirk. Anything else beyond that, he's useless."

Tomomi thought about it. Every person has limits to their quirk, no matter how powerful and how much they could utilize it. It took Tomomi years to figure out all of the things she could do with her quirk. Shoto was a one dimensional fighter because he practiced with both ice and fire.

Which would be easy for Monoma to copy and win if the fighter was a one dimensional user. Not likely because Shoto was even more utilized with his powers than anyone thought. But Tomomi was grouped into the people who were multi-dimensional with their powers because she figured out ways to extend it.

Monoma could only copy the first layer of the quirk, not the rest. Assuming if he could even touch her, that is.

"I'm telling you this because someone ought to shut him up for good and that someone might as well be you." Shinsou said, looking off in to nothing. "Because I know you can beat that guy easily. Good luck, princess."

With that, Shinsou started walking away, leaving her to watch him leave. She smiled slightly as she looked on. For a biased and lazy looking gentleman, he was somewhat kind and informative. She was grateful for his words, that's for sure.

Aww, Shinsou likes
Tomomi. This is turning
into a harem for her, lol...

But who doesn't love
a bit of competition for
Bakugou? That's what
makes a good story.

Dont forget to comment and
vote, i promise the next chapter
will be longer, I didn't even plan
on doing a double update today...

Happy Holidays and I love you!
