YOUNG XEHANORT: Is Krystal dead?
FOX: No… And she never will be!
YOUNG XEHANORT: What?
FOX: You turned me into a monster! I'll never serve you again!
XEHANORT: Why? How are you back?
KRYSTAL: Simple. I saved him!
YOUNG XEHANORT: Krystal. I should've known.
FOX: You ruined my life, Xehanort! You let Star Wolf take everything away from me.
FOX: You made me want to kill my friends and Star Wolf. But, I didn't kill her.

KRYSTAL: You can't put Lylat into a sea of darkness. We're going to defeat you for good!

Young Xehanort activated his armor and was now ready to attack Fox and Krystal. Now was the time to fight back and save Lylat for good.
FOX: Ready, babe?
KRYSTAL: Ready!
FOX: Let's save Lylat… one more time!

FOX: *crying*
KRYSTAL: Fox? Are you okay?
YOUNG XEHANORT: Hahahahahaha!
KRYSTAL: Oi! What's so funny?
YOUNG XEHANORT: I told you. All your friends are gone… thanks to you.
KRYSTAL: WHAT?!
YOUNG XEHANORT: Have fun with your miserable life now. Hahahahahaha!
KRYSTAL: Fox… I'm sorry... it's all my fault.
FOX: This can't be happening…

FOX:Who's there?
*Chirithy appears*
CHIRITHY: The name's Chirithy.
FOX: I'm Fox. And what are you talking about?
CHIRITHY: I mean none is this real. It's all a bad dream.
FOX: Wait... I'm dreaming?
KRYSTAL: What?! You mean… none of this is real?
CHIRITHY: No, you're dreaming what Xehanort wants you to dream.
CHIRITHY: The only way out is through the power of waking.

KRYSTAL: Fox, let's awaken together.
FOX: Okay…
CHIRITHY: Fox…

Fox opened his eyes, then realized he was in a hospital coma ward. He was next to Krystal who had the same nightmare that Fox had. The Anglar invasion. The Star Fox team disband. The breakup. It never really happened.
FOX: So none of that really happened. I never fired Krystal. I am so happy.
YOUNG XEHANORT: But how can you be happy when you've been stripped of all your strength?
FOX: GASP! YOU!
Fox was shocked because Young Xehanort was invading and manipulating his dreams. He tried to find his blaster, but it was gone. Fox was confused.
YOUNG XEHANORT: You see… you are not in Lylat anymore. You are not even in any system you know.
YOUNG XEHANORT: Welcome, Fox to planet Earth!
FOX: What!?
Fox became shocked because he and Krystal are now on a planet they never set foot on… Earth.
YOUNG XEHANORT: That's right. I have taken you from all you love in your sleep.
YOUNG XEHANORT: Your friends, your Arwings. They've all been left behind in your slumber.
FOX: No… it can't be… You mean…
YOUNG XEHANORT: Yes, your mission against the Anglars is nothing more than a dream.
Fox noticed that he had grown a beard and Krystal's hair had grown longer.
FOX: Wait…how long was I asleep?
YOUNG XEHANORT: Oh… about three years. Hahahahahaha!
FOX: No… It can't be… YOU BROUGHT US HERE WITH NO ARWINGS?!
YOUNG XEHNAORT: That's right. Good luck getting back to Lylat now, Fox. Hahahahahahahaha!
*Xehanort vanishes into a dark corridor*
KRYSTAL: Fox, we better get back to Corneria before a new threat attacks Lylat!
FOX: Krystal… I told you can't do this anymore! If I did this… everyone would hate me!
KRYSTAL: FOX! Those were just your worst fears manifesting themselves in your dreams.
KRYSTAL: But, we're awake now. It means there never were any Anglars.
KRYSTAL: Can't you see? I never really did join Star Wolf. It was all just a nightmare!
FOX: But… what if it happens for real and I really do lose you? Sniff… sob… sob…
KRYSTAL: But… Fox, you don't understand! It never really happened.
FOX: SHUT UP! Xehanort turned me into a coward. A weakling. A wimp!
FOX: That is why I am never going back to Lylat! Corneria is better off without me!
KRYSTAL: But… but…
KRYSTAL: Sigh... Say, Fox? There's a... a nice little shop right over there.
KRYSTAL: It's quiet. Relaxed. And it'll keep those awful thoughts out of your mind.
FOX: And what shop is that?
KRYSTAL: Uhh... McDonald's... they've got food… and drinks.
FOX: Okay... I could use a snack. I am kinda hungry.
KRYSTAL: You... you wanna go with me?
FOX: ...Sure. Let's go.
FOX: ROB… ROB?
KRYSTAL: Fox, ROB isn't not here, remember?
FOX: Oh… I guess we better walk…
KRYSTAL: Don't worry, Fox. I'm sure our friends will notice we've gone missing and start looking for us.
KRYSTAL: Oh, and I'm sorry for acting so... out of character.
FOX: Thanks, but I don't think it's enough. I might as well... sigh... retire.
KRYSTAL: You're right, Fox. I'm sure they'll understand.
FOX: I'm glad Wolf won't remember you joining his team.
KRYSTAL: Thankfully, because it never happened.
FOX: Yeah. I hope Earth isn't so bad.
PANTHER: Fox? Krystal? You're awake! Thank goodness!
FOX: AHHH! PANTHER!
PANTHER: Calm down, Fox. I'm not here to fight you.
KRYSTAL: Panther, what are you doing here?
PANTHER: We followed you two to this planet.
FOX: "We?"
MIYU: Hi, Fox.
FOX: Miyu?!
KRYSTAL: You know her?
FOX: Yeah, she and Fay vanished during the Lylat wars. They weren't there to help me stop Andross.
PANTHER: Probably, because they're from Star Fox 2. That game was completed, but cancelled due to concerns about PlayStation's graphics being better than SNES.
FOX: Uhh... what?
MIYU: Oh, I forgot to tell that you guys are from a video game on this planet.
KRYSTAL: Okay… that's just weird. Panther, are you dating Miyu instead of me?
PANTHER: Yes, Krystal. I'm over it.
FOX: Phew! That's a relief! Because I had a nightmare where I kicked Krystal off the team and she joined Star Wolf.
PANTHER: What?
KRYSTAL: Oh, nothing. C'mon, Fox. Let's leave.
Fox and Krystal are reunited at last, but the Anglar invasion was actually just a bad dream.
Krystal was happy that she never actually joined Star Wolf and was never actually forced to leave Star Fox. Fox was unhappy and cried tears of sorrow, for Xehanort took him away to a faraway planet called Earth.
Krystal remembered hers and Fox's promise to marry, so they had the staff of Nintendo arrange a wedding for them. Fox was unable to invite his friends to the wedding, for there was no possible way of contacting them. Fox learned that his friends will always be with him, no matter what the distance.
They had a son named Marcus and a daughter named Sabrina. And thus, the McCloud family enjoys a happy life together. Marcus discovered that his daddy was part of Star Fox and wanted to be a mercenary, just like him. Fox didn't want that, for his thoughts of war only cause him pain. All Fox can do is watch the sky and wonder when his friends will find and rescue him...
