"I have warned you too many times about my patience, Mr. Tsukumo." Kai Chisaki, aka Overhaul, spoke in a low and gravelly voice as he sat across from Akio Tsukomo.

Kai Chisaki was a young captain of the Shie Hassaikai Yakuza in Japan. He was a man known for many things. One of them being he was a very impatient. Also he was a big germaphobe so the face that Akio had his mug of steaming coffee on his desk with no coaster, just letting the condensation get all over the desk space, also pushed his buttons a bit. But he had to fight through it.

He had a goal and that is to rid the world of quirks. To Chisaki, quirks were a virus and being a villain and hero is a sickness plaguing this world. He sought to rid the world of the sickness. All personal reasons aside, he also wanted the Yakuza to have power again. And they can't do that if people with special abilities are roaming free. Villain or not.

They all were pests in his eyes. They all needed to be eradicated.

"Look, I found something I think could be of use to you." Akio said quickly as his men place their hands on both of his shoulders harshly.

Not too long ago, Akio Tsukumo, a famed millionaire, became Chisaki's eyes and ears. He needed more people to test out his expierements and he would lead Chisaki to them. Lately, Akio had not been doing his job as swiftly as Chisaki wanted.

And that is why he made an unexpected stop to his office building.

"You have exactly one oppurtunity to tell me something I'm going to like or I will kill you." Chisaki said as emotionless as he usually is.

"Her name is Tomomi Todoroki." Akio said, shakingly pulling out a file from his drawer and placing it on the desk for him to grab. "She's the youngest daughter of the hero Endeavor."

Chisaki looked through the file boredly as he spoke. His eyes scanned over pictures of this Tomomi Todoroki. Leaving school, walking to school, exiting a building and everything. As much of an effort Akio made to keep watch of this girl, he was wondering why he was so bent on this little girl?

I see she got good genes...Chisaki thought, appreciating her good looks a little. No way that could be from her father...fucking ugly.

"What's so special about this juvenile?"

"She has the X cell in her." Akio revealed, capturing his full attention. "The same one you've been looking for."

Chisaki's eyes lifted to stare at him in a slight shock. Though on the inside, he was thoroughly shocked. The X Cell was something that was super rare when it came to quirks. It developes ones quirk slowly but it ensures them great power. Also anyone that has it is automatically placed on the EXTREMELY DANGEROUS: ENGAGE WITH EXTREME CAUTION list with the hero commission due to their quirks now being classed as a grade a weapon of destruction.

How this girl was able to walk freely without being held in containment is beyond him and also very impressive. Her entire body and quirk is very valuable and expensive. If he was able to have her, she could be the missing ingredient for his quirkless serum.

"How much do you know about her?" He asked, looking back at the file.

"All I know is that she's a student at UA Academy and that her quirk is ice." He said honestly, hoping it would get him out of trouble. "But I can get you more information on her. My son is friends with her, apparently."

"No, you would only piss me off with your slowness." Chisaki waved off, handing the closed file to one of his men. "You just saved your own life, Akio...I'm impressed."

Akio sighed in relief after he felt his guards hands lift from his shoulders. He can live another day. That's all he cared about.

"Let this be a gift from me, to you." Chisaki said, standing up from his chair. "I have control over your life...Never forget that."

With that, he left with his men trailing not to far behind him.

"Ah!" Tomomi woke up late night in her dorm room when she had a really bad nightmare. Only this time, she didn't remember a thing about it.

Breathing heavily, she looked around her semi dark room. Snow flakes were frozen in midair but the rest of the room didn't look frozen at all.

Sighing in relief, she looked down at her hands, which were gripping her blankets super tightly. She frowned and tried to release the grip but when she folded her hands open, the fabric of the blanket stuck onto her palms.

"What the-" She mumbled, examining her hands. In between them was a thin layer of...dry ice? Shouldn't it had burn her fabric? The ice was smoking like it was on fire not too long ago but the sensation was beyond cold. So cold that it actually sent a shiver down her spine.

"What is going on?" She whispered, tearing her hands away. Miraculously, the blanket didn't rip but the ice was still there and her hands felt colder than the rest of her body.

Tomomi looked at her palms and noticed marks on the palms. Like she had been burned by open fire and it was done scarring. But feeling it...it felt super cold. Like zero degrees cold.

Deciding that she needed a cup of calming tea, she tossed her blanket from her legs and climbed out of her bed, making sure to leave the room quietly.

Tomomi poured the scalding water into her favorite mug, letting the tea mix into the water slowly. She sighed yet again and stared into her mug.

"Sometimes things happen when we lose control." Yukina said almost nervously. "Sometimes it's like prophecy for people like us...To mess up and cause a catastrophe."

"It seems like you know..." Tomomi mumbled, noticing how nervous she looked for a moment.

Yukina looked down at her long and sharp white nails. "...Sadly, I do know how that feels...and sadly, it becomes out of our control."

I wish her words weren't so true...Tomomi thought solemnly, watching the steam emit from her mug. It was in that moment, she really realized just how messed up she was mentally and emotionally.

Her thoughts were interrupted when another voice made her jump. "You're up late." The deep voice said.

The voice was so unexpected, Tomomi jumped and shot ice out of her hands, making little icicles emit from the kitchen island.

Her hands were stuck in the ice, as well. "Oh my god!" She yelped, but relaxed when she realized that it was Aizawa, who was covered in a thin layer of snow.

"I'm so sorry." She apologized, yanking her hands from her ice and making the snow on him lift off and disappear into light blue sparkles.

Aizawa just waved off the sparkles calmly. "I've learned to live with it, munchkin." He said deadpanned. "Now, it's currently midnight and I thought you were Kaminari trying to sneak snacks into his dorm again. I'm surprised to see you up already."

Tomomi chuckled a little to herself, picking up her heated mug filled with peach tea. "I had a bad dream and couldn't go back to sleep."

"Mmm...Another bad dream?" Aizawa said, walking over to the sink to pick himself a mug. He then walked over to their coffee machine and poured coffee in his mug. "Seems like you have enough of those."

"How did you know that?"

"Well, when I have four or five of my students complain about the 'air conditioner' freezing them at night, I had a feeling." Aizawa replied, chuckling slightly as he made his way back to his space across from her on the kitchen island. "These dorms may be sound proof but they aren't climate change proof."

Tomomi blushed a little before drinking some of her tea. She had no idea her nightmares were effecting those around her. She had to find a way to control her body temperature soon.

She didn't want to encase the dorm in a snowstorm of some sort.

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that." She sheepishly apologized. "It's just...Have you ever felt like things don't make sense in your life?"

Aizawa thought about it for a second. "Sometimes. Why?"

"I don't know...I-" She stuttered out, reluctant to tell him anything.

"Hey,." He said, sensing the fact that she was about to close herself off again. "When I told you that I'll be there for you, I meant it...As crazy as it sounds."

Tomomi looked at him and let out a breathy giggle. She could tell he was trying his best and she appreciated him for that. Maybe it was the major parental issues she has but she has grown to see Aizawa as a father to her. And as much as he has said that he has no interest in having a family, he would be the perfect dad.

She only wishes her own father could be like him. As sad as it was to think that.

"When I was 5 years old, I had this really bad dream about fire, scary laughter and chains." She confessed, tracing the rim of her mug. "And then it comes true not too long ago...Then, at the camps, I kept hearing this sound...it didn't sound like singing at all...more like a haunting noise because it was very high and unpleasant. And the only time that happened was when villains were attacking...I have a feeling my quirk has a mind of it's own."

Aizawa frowned a little as he listened to her. This was all new information he was unknowingly gathering. Especially since he was assigend to watch over her quirk and how far it was developing.

So like a warning, I see...Aizawa thought. That explains her acute alertness

"And then on top of that, my father tried to marry me off in a quirk marria-"

"He tried to do what?" Aizawa suddenly paid more attention when she mentioned quirk marriage. "Quirk marriage?"

"Yeah," Tomomi sighed, tapping her sharp and long white nails on her mug. "But I refused and so did Akira."

Aizawa was still upset that he tried to force something like this on his own daughter. She had just been humilitated by the media, tortured and poisoned. And she's in therapy. What more can this girl deal with?

Now, he really hopes he doesn't cross paths with Enji. Because he might do something to him, at this point.

"I often find myself asking if I did enough or if I'm doing enough?" Tomomi sighed out, looking at her mug in sadness. "...I want to be strong and continue for everyone's sake but...I don't know how."

"Maybe you shouldn't do this for everyone." Aizawa said, drinking a little of his coffee. "Maybe, the only person you need to get better for is yourself."

Tomomi looked up at him, listening to him more.

"It's nothing wrong with being a litte selfish, Tomomi." He continued. "And I don't just mean with dealing with your issues. I mean in making choices that can benefit you in the long run. You gotta think of yourself a lot more. Follow me."

He suddenly stood up from his stool, gesturing her with his finger to follow him. "We're gonna go for a walk and I'm going to show you something."

Tomomi looked at him in confusion, but did as she was told. Must be important if he wanted to take a walk. "Where are we going?"

"You'll see."

"This is where I used to come to clear my mind." Aizawa said, directing her into the campus' botanical garden. Which was located just three minutes away from Class 1-A's dormitory.

Though the only source of light was the pale moon, Tomomi could see the vibrant colors of the flowers and other plants everywhere. It was beautiful and it had a little stone bench in the middle of it.

"This garden was built when this school was built." Aizawa explained as they walked into the garden slowly. "Principal Nezu liked it so much, he decided to keep it. When I was a student, I would come here whenever I was troubled, got into fights or whenever I didn't want to go home."

"Why didn't you want to go home?" Tomomi asked, suddenly curious about his background but she feared that she was pushing it too far. So she quickly retracted her question."My apologies, Mr. Aizawa, I-"

"Ara Ara, I'm fine with it, really." He chuckled a little, mocking her a little.

Tomomi realized that he was teasing her by repeating what she said to him back at the camps and blushed a little.

"Look, I promised you I wouldn't pry and push you into telling me everything that has happened to you in your family but make no mistake, Miss Todoroki." He said, dying his chuckling down. "Family isn't always blood related...You have people here that love you and care for you. You don't have to be scared to tell anyone about any problems you have with yourself...we care, too."

Tomomi looked at him, a little shocked but she suddenly smiled a little. She wanted to hug him but didn't know if she had permission to do so.

"Permission to hug you, ?" She asked, her voice becoming shaky as tears welled up in her bright blue eyes.

Aizawa smiled at her, pulling her into a gentle hug. She immediately circled her arms around his waist as he pet her hair softly, allowing her to sink into his arms.

"You don't need to ask, munchkin...you don't need to ask."

Tomomi decided to wait a little to do the work study. She wanted to focus more on therapy and school. Ever since Aizawa showed her the botanical flower garden behind the school, she started going there to read, clear her mind and/or to study and do her homework.

During lunch, Tomomi, Momo, and Akira were sitting at their usual booth in the massive cafeteria while Bakugou and Shoto were in the lunch line. She convinced him to let her get her own lunch this time and to worry about himself. He put up a loud fight but in the end, she smacked him over the head for raising his voice at her and that was the end of that.

"You really don't have to worry about anyone picking on you or bullies, Akira-kun." Momo said, leaning on the palm of her hand. She and Tomomi were talking to him about the entire school again, since he's going to be in Class 1-A soon. "Besides, I don't think anyone would mess with you once they know what your quirk is."

Akira chuckled sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "That's a relief. During middle school, I almost got expelled for figthing."

"You? Fighting?" Bakugou's voice suddenly interrupted their conversation as he slid into the big circular book right next to Tomomi. "You don't seem like the type to fight anyone."

Tomomi moved closer to him as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. After he placed his own food tray down. He and Shoto even brought over Denki, Kirishima, Sero and Mina with them.

"You were in a fight?!" Denki asked, sitting right next to him. He almost had star in his eyes. "Tell me about it~"

Ever since Akira transfered there, he had been very attached to him. No one knows why. Even after he almost short ciruit after meeting Venom. He was both fascinated with Akira and Venom. Almost as fascinated as Midoriya was. Who could not stop asking questions about Venom.

But Venom found both Denki and Midoriya very amusing so it was all good.

"Well..." Akira trailed off, reminiscing over the moment.

"HE'S GOING TO KILL US!" the school bullies ran down the hallway as a loud and demonic roar could be heard not too far from them. "SOMEONE HELP US!"

Students paused as they watched the scene, only to be shocked to see Venom, replacing Akira's entire body with his own form, chase the bullies on all fours like a monster out of hell.

He was roaring and running on walls just to catch up with the bullies.

"RRRRAAAAAAAUGHHRR!" Venom roared as he continued to chase the crying bullies. "I'M HAVING CHILDREN FOR DINNER TONIGHT!"

"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

"Yeaah...They decided to not charge me with attempted murder in the first degree and just decided to give me a three week suspension." Akira sighed out, still remembering how he traumatized those bullies. "It was so bad that those bullies had to take many mental evaluations before coming back to the school and even then, they were too traumatized."

"Venom didn't really mean he would actually eat children...right?" Kirishima asked, a bit scared to say or do anything that would tick him off. If he didn't fear Akira then, he sure as hell did now. "He only said that just to scare them, right?"

"As far as you're concerned, copperhead." Venom's voice replaced Akira's, forcing him to talk in his deep and monstrous voice. "He does have two stomachs to feed and our taste in food is very different."

"Venom, stop it." Akira scolded, regaining control over his body again. Seeing the frighten looks on everyone's face, he gave them an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, I neglected to tell you all he sometimes does that."

"Oh, you and I are going to be real good friends." Bakugou said, smirking evily. "How does Venom feel about prank?"

"Katsuki Bakugou." Tomomi scolded, already knowing what he was about to say. "Do not use him for your personal gain."

"Don't worry, Frostbite," He reassured, playing with a strand of her hair. "I only need him for one person."

"Oh look, the new kid." A very familiar and annoying voice interrupted their conversation. "How sad, he's lumped with those idiots and my goddess."

With that, he and two of his classmates laughed as if he said something funny. The three walked away from them, shooting them condescending looks. But not before Bakugou had something to say.

"Sorry, we can't speak Number 2, pathetic failure, speak Japanese!" Bakugou yelled after him, smirking. "While you're at it, don't you think you need a jacket from staying in our shadow for so long? You're getting pretty pale."

While Akira was clueless about the situation, eveyone around him laughed at Bakugou's insults.

Shoto mumbled to the new student. "That's Neito Monoma. He seems to think everything is a competition with us."

"Yeah, one time, I was in line to get lunch and he gloated at me that he got his first." Mina added. "Then he called me a dumbass and left! All I wanted was some cookies!"

"No body calls my dumbass a dumbass." Bakugou growled angrily. "I'm only allowed to do that."

"Of course, honey." Tomomi giggled a little, patting his knee.

Kurayami hated feeling like someone was following him. He grew up pretty paranoid due to his family's mafia. And that's exactly how he was feeling right now.

As he was about to unlock his front door, he noticed that the door was already open. Meaning someone got in.

Kurayami sighed exasperately. Of all days, you choose today? He thought, walking into his penthouse apartment casually. He already knew who was in his house. So he just wanted to get this over with.

Once he walked in, he was greeted with Chisaki, sitting at his bar, playing with a short glass filled with scotch. Which irritated Kurayami because he had just bought that Scotch. It was imported from overseas.

"You walk into people's homes, drinking their alcoholic drinks all the time?" Kurayami said sarcastically as he took off his jacket, revealing his muscular body and longish black hair. "For a germaphobe like you, I'm shocked you're not bitching about my glasses not being clean enough."

"I'm only here to talk to you." Chisaki said, ignoring his smart ass remarks. "It's a short visit, I have a lot to do."

"Yeah, well...I don't either." He said, walking over to his black wood box that contained his black cigarrettes.

Chisaki looked in disgust as Kurayami stuck one in his mouth and lit it up with his pinky finger. He inhaled a large amount of smoke and then purposely blew the black smoke his way.

"Disgusting." He glowered at him, waving the smoke away from his eyes. "Ugh...those will kill you."

"Been smoking for seven years and no luck on the dying part." He said, shrugging. "Anyday now, I hope."

"I'm not here for your suicidal jokes and mindset." Chisaki said, placing the cup on a coaster.

"You here to kill me?" Kurayami asked, challeging him. He smirked a little at him, looking him up and down and just casually leaned on his window. "Aww...and here I thought you were here because you missed me being around...Color me embarassed and heart broken."

"I'm not a fool enough to try and kill someone that could kill me within a second." Chisaki rolled his eyes. "I'm here because you have ties with that whiny bastard Shigaraki."

"What about him?" Kurayami shot back, not really getting the point of his words.

"Does he have the blood of Tomomi Todoroki?"

Ahhh...that's what you're here for. Kurayami thought, holding back a chuckle. fucking hell...Baby girl can't catch a break, huh?

"How should I know?" He replied honestly. "Talk to him if you want, I can't tell you anything."

"Cut the bullshit," Chisaki said, standing up. He was getting very impatient. "You're friends with Dabi, aren't you? You know more than you lead on and I don't have the time or patience for your cryptic bullshit."

Not appreciating his tone of voice, Kurayami felt himself get very defenseless. "You broke into my home and now, you're demanding answers I don't have from me?" He nearly growl at him, flicking his cigarrette out of the window.

"If you want to fight, Chisaki, we can do just that but make no mistake..."

Kurayami walked over to the aloof captain. He raised his hand, making it hover over his chest. The Death symbol over the palm of his left hand glowed red as he began pulling out his soul.

Chisaki began to hyperventilate as his face rapidly aged, his hair turned white and his face turned wrinkled and old.

"I gave you back your life four years ago." Kurayami said, his voice turning deeper and rougher than usual as his eyes glowed.

He slowly pulled his glowing white soul out of his body little by little before releasing his hold and letting fall back into his body, making him rapidly regain his youth and the life in his eyes.

"And I can take it back anytime I want."

this is what happens when
you annoy Kurayami and drink
his expensive drink.

Kurayami is kind of scary and
it's funny because he is not a fighter
he's just a loner haha
