"Welcome, Miss Todoroki," Chisaki's deep voice rung in her ears as she started to wake up from the knockout serum they shot her with.
Her eyes were red and a little puffy, evidence that she had been crying. And all of her tears were for Eri. Once she fully woke up, she realized where she was. When she tried to move, her found herself strapped to a dental reclining chair of some sort.
Her wrists and legs were bounded to the seat and she still had that metal shock collar around her neck.
"You'll find that you won't be able to get out of this one." He said, watching her struggle to break free. "If the restraints aren't doing the trick, the shock collar around your neck will send 10,000 watts of electricity straight to your brain. Rendering you brain dead...Just for precaution."
Tomomi glared at him and scoffed. "What are you so scared of? A teenager beating you in a fight? Is that why you have this collar on me?"
Chisaki chuckled a little as he walked over to her. His mask nearly poking her face as he leaned down to her face. "Such a pretty face for a virus." He whispered. "It's a shame..."
"Where's Eri?" She asked through her gritting teeth.
"My daughter is none of your concern, Miss Todoroki." He said, leaning back up and walking over to a table. "Besides, she's fine. In a different room, I guess but we won't be needing her for a while."
He picked up an empty syringe. He thumped the needle and turned back to her. "For now, we will be needing you and your blood."
"You're not the first person who needs it." Tomomi shot back almost boredly. "What makes it so special, anyways? I think you owe me that explanation."
"You're right...I do." He obliged before, without warning, injecting the big needle into her arm.
Tomomi nearly yelled as he began filling the syringe with her blood. Once he was done, he took out the needle, setting it aside and began bandaging her arm. Stopping it from bleeding out.
"Something tells me you already know what type of cell that is in your DNA." Chisaki said as he tended to the puncture wound. "So I'll save you the explanation from that. But what I will tell you is why I need it."
He carefully wrapped medical tape around her arm. Once he was done, he stood up and picked up the syringe again. "Not only does is your blood valuable, it can be used for many things. Such as weapons."
Tomomi remained quiet as he dropped a few drops of her blood onto a tiny glass plate.
"You have a very powerful quirk...so powerful, it can end life on this planet." He explained as he continued working. "In fact, if you get angry enough, you could cause a winter storm...I'm sure you remembered what you did this past summer."
Past summer? Tomomi thought as she frowned in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
"You didn't think that severe blizzard and hailstorm was a weather phenomenon, did you?" Chisaki glanced at her with raised eyebrows. "You're powerful, Miss Todoroki."
She frowned a little again. So she wasn't crazy. That violent storm was her doing. But...How? She has always known that her emotions were tied to her quirk but it was still shocking to know that her emotions could cause that.
"Eri's quirk is to reverse." He spoke, bringing her out of her thoughts. "She can reverse almost anything. And that includes quirks. And the fact that your quirk can freeze almost anything, it would be perfect to combine for my quirkless bullets."
"W-Wait..." She mumbled, trying to process everything. "If Eri's quirk is to reverse...How does that help with building your bullets?"
The look in his eyes was what terrified her the most. Like he was hoping she would ask him or even figure it out, herself. She began to become scared of the answer but she waited until he spoke again.
"Why do you think she has those bandages wrapped around her arms and legs?"
...
The color in her face suddenly drained and her heart began to slow down as she connected the lines. Eri seemed injured when she first met her and she actively avoided answering her question about quirks.
Suddenly, a flashback to one of their conversations came to mind.
"Howcome you have those bandages?" Tomomi asked, not wanting to offend the little girl but she was curious as to what they have been doing to her.
Eri, suddenly feeling embarrassed, fiddled with her fingers. " says I have to wear then to keep them from falling off...B-But...they never do. The only time I can take it off is when the man in the white coat needs me for a special checkup."
That answer was strange but it bothered her, for some reason. Like she had to keep this in mind later on. What annoyed her was that she couldn't figure out why it bothered her so much.
"You..." Tomomi whispered shakingly as her body shook like a leaf. Her eyes widened as she felt fear and anger rise in her. "You sick bastard...You're using her limbs to make your bullets?!"
Chisaki smirked. She was as smart as she seemed. That was good. He couldn't stand idiots. "And now that we have you, we can perfect it and keep the effects permanent."
He walked back to her and leaned his face close to her. "You remind me so much of Eri...So beautiful and valuable...Yet so disposable...You will do a great service for me."
He quickly jumped back when she tried to attack him. She ferociously glared at him as she kept fighthing the restraints.
"Someone's moody."
"I don't care what you do to me!" She growled at him loudly. "If you touch Eri again...I will not hesitate to decorate my hands in your blood. You hear me?!"
"It is true that they say after your first kill, it get's easier." Chisaki taunted as he picked up the syringe and glass plate. "I'll look forward to it, Miss Todoroki. Until then, enjoy your new scenery...Eri did."
With that, he left the angry teenager to her thoughts, closing the door behind him.
"There's still no news about Tomomi." Momo sighed.
"I'm very worried about Todoroki-kun and Bakugou-kun." Jirou admitted as she pushed at her lunch. "Neither of them have ever had this dark of a vibe before. Besides, you know...what happened during the summer."
Momo nodded in agreement. "It's been hard on all of us." She mumbled, she looked out the window as the birds flew by. "I've never seen our entire class so tense before...I do hope they find them fast."
It was hard to get through the day after her kidnapping. The students of Class A found it hard to just act normal when one of their own was taken again.
What's worse was that they couldn't do anything about it. Bakugou refused to even speak to anyone because he was highly pissed off that this happened again. So he avoided everyone.
He was mad that Kirishima wasn't allowed to say anything to him, making him avoid him like the plague.
Shoto was probably worse. He, like Bakugou, was highly pissed off. He avoided hanging out with anyone and just opted to stay in the dorms. Since he was a relative of the victim, he was excused from school until the investigation was done but he continued to go. In order to stop him from doing something stupid.
Because of the last time they dealt with a villain, Shoto and Bakugou were heavily watched so that they didn't pull what happened last summer again. The entire class was watched, yes. But those two were heavily watched.
Rendering them completely useless in the matter. And that angered them to no end.
Kirishima felt completely horrible for keeping details away from the both of them. He knew how much they cared about Tomomi and he wanted to tell them everything. He really did. But the pro heroes restricted him from doing so.
Midoriya couldn't sleep at all as he kept thinking about Eri and Tomomi. And how he felt like he royally messed up. There was no way of knowing that Tomomi would be a kidnap victim but he still felt an incredible amount of guilt for it. Why? he didn't even know.
It was night time and Midoriya stayed in the lounge room. He sat on the couch, pondering everything that happened in the past few days. The guilt was eating at him and for the first time in his life, he didn't know what to do.
"You're up late." A voice interrupted his self loathing.
He looked up and saw Shoto there, water bottle in hand and in pajamas. He had a unreadable expression on his face as he walked over to sit next to him.
"Oh, T-Todoroki-kun." Midoriya said in mild shock as he took the seat next to him. "You couldn't sleep, too?"
"Not something I can do lately." He said a bit sarcastically. "Besides, I've been too worried."
The green haired boy sighed inaudibly as he raked his fingers through his hair. "Look, I'm-"
"If you're going to tell me how sorry you are, save it." Shoto interrupted him.
The sterness in his eyes nearly made Midoriya jump but he listened to him, nonetheless. Sensing he had more to say, he remained silent.
"The best thing you can do is to get her back." He said with a coldness that rivaled the arctic. "I trust you more than anyone here to do the job, Midoriya...And I expect that you will do it instead of moping around, feeling sorry for yourself."
Midoriya looked at him in awe before tightly balling up his fist. He was right. He shouldn't be here, moping around. He had to be strong and do something about it. And that's what exactly what he was willing to do.
Eri...This time...I won't hesitate! I will save you!...Tomo-neechan...I promise I will get you out if it's not the last thing I will do!
Tomomi didn't realize she fell asleep until the door slammed shut, waking her up. Her eyes shot open, revealing Chisaki walking in. This time, he had a bag in his hand. It looked like a...gift bag? It was light blue and sparkling.
"Good morning, Miss Todoroki." He said, walking over to her.
Tomomi looked at him blankly. What was he about to do or say?
"I got you a gift." He said, standing at her side, giving her the gift bag. "Of course, I can't trust you enough to open it yourself. So, here."
He pulled out a medium sized black box that housed a very beautiful sapphire necklace. It looked very expensive and priceless. Tomomi narrowed her eyes at it and then looked at him.
"What's this supposed to be? A thank you gift?" She asked with stoicism lacing her voice. "A manipulative tactic?"
"No, of course not." Chisaki chuckled deeply, placing the box down on the metal table next to her. "Just a little gift. Eri has hers, as well. She really loves her gift."
"Where's Eri?" She asked, with more of a roughness in her voice. "Where is she?"
"She's not your concern." He reminded her, glaring down at her. Which struck a little fear into her heart.
It seems like Eri was also a sensitive topic for him. Despite the fact that he had no love for his own daughter, he must still hate whem people mentioned her.
All the more reasons why she needed to get her out of here. He would for sure kill her once he deemed her useless. And how long before that happens?
Chisaki cleared his throat, losing the scary glower in his eyes. "My apologies..." He said, though he didn't mean it. She could tell. "I do hope you like your gift. There will be plenty more after I take what I want from you...I meant it when I said that you were serving a greater purpose for me and I always take care of my people."
"I'm not your people." She said with her teeth gritting. "And I don't know why you think I'm anything like Eri...But I promise you, I will get out of here and I will take her with me-"
"YOU AREN'T GOING ANYWHERE!" He suddenly yelled, his hand swiftly grabbing her delicate neck.
Tomomi gasped as she leaned back, looking at him with widened eyes. He wasn't squeezing her neck but she still held her breath. Chisaki was still very unstabled.
Chisaki seemed like he calmed down before letting her neck go. Tomomi began breathing again as she stared at him in fright. That really terrified her. And she hasn't been this scared since she was trapped with Shigaraki.
His hand dropped and he began leaving without any words. Once he was gone, she leaned her head back on the chair and calmed her nerves. Taking a deep breath, she looked at the box next to her.
She couldn't help but wonder...what was he trying to do, exactly? And why was he so bent up about her wanting to leave and take Eri with her?
He had no love for her. No care for her. He only saw her as a pawn...A tool for his plans and ambition.
Just who the hell was Chisaki?
I'm trying not to make this
super long since after this,
it's the school festival arc
( very short but fun ) and then
I still got to worry about the
hero license arc ( which I think
I'm just going to leave out
since after this main arc,
Tomomi won't have anything
to do with that. )
I'll probably add it in the
next book as a special
since I do want Akira
to bond with the other
two more.
So yeah, I'm just kind of
speed running through this
arc. ( I hate how long it is! )
don't forget to comment and
vote! love you and stay safe,
beautiful people.

also, should Tomomi sing
for the school festival?
which song should she
sing, if so?
happy reading!
After a few more days, the pro heroes teamed up with Nighteye to locate where Tomomi and Eri were exactly. Nighteye revealed how one of his men had bought toys for a little girl and a very expensive necklace, which he theorized as a manipulative tactic to gaslight Tomomi.
Why? No one knows. Why was Overhaul gifting such an expensive gift to his victim if he only needed her for one thing?
Just before they began their raid, Aizawa stopped by the hospital to tell Fuyumi, the twin's older sister and legal guardian, about the recent news. And while she was happy to know that they know where she is, she could only really make him promise to bring back her sister in one piece.
Because she couldn't think about how they found Tomomi the first time she was taken. She didn't want to see her sister in that state ever again. Lifeless and damaged.
After that was done, Aizawa began leaving the hospital ( Fuyumi was visiting her mother ). But he stopped in his tracks when he ran into someone he really hoped he wouldn't run into anymore.
Enji Todoroki paused as he stood opposite to Aizawa. He was slightly shocked to see him there. But he shook it off and his eyes turned stoic.
Aizawa looked at him blankly as the two waited a few seconds before speaking to each other.
"You found her?" Enji asked, the tone of his voice was very much unreadable.
Aizawa, deciding that now wasn't the time to be petty, just shook his head. "Yes, we did...We'll get her back." He said monotoned.
Enji nodded a little before walking past him. But not before saying something under his breath. "You're her teacher, you should stay that way."
Now that irritated Aizawa and it made him snap. Before he could pass him, Aizawa replied with "If you acted like her father, maybe she wouldn't be looking for one right now."
His words made him pause his walking as his eyes widened. Did he really just say that to him?
Aizawa didn't bother to see his reaction as he began to leave. He had a job to do and he was not about to let some absentee father of a hero stop him from focusing on getting the girls back.
It had been about 8 or 9 days since Tomomi received that necklace and in that time, Chisaki periodically came in to fill up a small bag of her blood, rendering her pretty weak and dizzy.
But she managed to push through. She's honestly been through worse. So this was nothing to her. But what always brought her back was how much she wanted to get Eri out of here.
She kept telling herself that she had to wait for the perfect moment. Eventually, one of them would slip and then she would be able to escape. She didn't know when that moment would come but she was hoping soon. Tomomi was starting to get bored and her arms and legs were getting tired of the restraints.
"Hello, Miss Todoroki." Chisaki's voice flowed into her ears as Tomomi began looking around. Her arm was sore from the big needle Chisaki kept injecting into her vein so they were wrapped into a medical bandage.
Her skin was also a little paler than before so when she whipped her head to look for the source of the voice, she felt a little dizzy.
"Ready for another round?" He asked, as he began to move towards the metal table nearby. "Of course, you are."
"How courteous of you." Tomomi mumbled, rolling her ice blue eyes.
"Yes, well...I see you still don't like my gifts." He said, gesturing to the other gifts he gave her.
In those few days, Tomomi had been given gifts from Chisaki for each time he took her blood. It was like a manipulative tactic of his. But she was not going to fall for it.
"Why would I ever accept anything from you?"
"Fair enough." He said, turning to her with the needle in his gloved hands. "You are a smart one, indeed."
"And you are a ill mannered sociopath." She shot back, glaring at him. "Who needs to come up with better mask choices."
"What have I told you about that smart mouth of yours." He warned her in a dangerously low voice. "It can get you into a world of trouble with me and you are in no position to sass me."
"What's the matter? Didn't you tell me that you liked that I was fiesty before?" She coldly replied, ignoring his words. "You are very dimsided for a smart man like yourself."
"And you're nothing but a child who's on her way to a loony bin with the amount of issues you have." He insulted right back. "What was it? Daddy didn't love you? Your brother kicked the bucket? Now you're looking for a father figure to fill a void that will never be full?"
So he wants to hit people where it hurts, huh? she thought, her eyebrow twitching in annoyance. How original of him
"That's original coming from a man with a bruised ego." She snapped back, knowing that it will hurt him. "If you're upset that a minor hurt your feelings, just say that."
"You little-" He began but a huge boom made the room shake a little.
"What the hell was that?" He mumbled, setting down the needle on the table next to her hand.
The two listened as alarms began sounding through the building. The ground rumbled a bit and it sounded like a break in.
"Ah, your friends are here." Chisaki said, seemingly not fazed by the revelations.
Nothing bothers this guy, I see... Tomomi thought, noticing his calm demeanor.
"Doesn't matter, seeing as I've already got what I wanted from you." He said, grabbing something off of the table. "They won't find you here."
"You sound so sure of yourself." She replied in a monotone.
Chisaki looked at her for a brief moment before making his way to the door, leaving her in the room all together. And again, Tomomi was left with her own thoughts and with no way out.
If she tried to use her quirk to get out of this, her brain was going to be fried. So freezing the neck brace was out of the question. But she was still determined to get Eri away from that sociopath.
There has to be some way... She thought, frustrated as she looked around the small medical room.
She looked around, looking for a way to disable the neck brace. It was remote detonated and Chisaki was not stupid enough to-
Tomomi paused as she looked at the medical table 2 feet away from her. There it was. The remote to the neck brace. But she would be stupid into thinking it was that easy. Chisaki was not an idiot.
"Seems like you got yourself into a pickle." A deep and low voice spoke from the far left of the room.
Tomomi whipped her head to the source, wondering where that was coming room. "Hello?" she called out.
Not too long after, came a tall man in all black. His face had a skull tattooed over the entire surface of his handsome features as if it was painted there and his hood was covering his head.
His hands were stuffed in his black pants pockets as he walked close to Tomomi. Even though he seemed very intimidating and very frightening, she didn't feel threatened by him. Like he was purposely making himself less of a threat to her, somehow.
"Who are you?" She asked as he stopped right by her side.
"Not that it's important but my name is Kurayami Ishida." He introduced himself formally. "You're Tomomi Todoroki. The girl who will forever have a target on her back."
Tomomi frowned a bit. Was that an insult or what? She couldn't tell with his tone of voice. It was completely unreadable.
"Don't worry, baby girl." Kurayami said casually, waving his hand over her neck brace. "You're not my enemy. And there is nothing I want more than to see Chisaki's demise."
The death symbol on the palm of his hand glowed as black smoke began to fall and spread all over the metal material. Tomomi froze as she wondered what he was doing.
Kurayami ignored her curious gaze at him as the black smoke from his hands began to melt the neck brace open. Tomomi gasped a little as she felt her neck become free from the shock collar. The remains of the collar opened up, allowing her to breathe properly.
Once he was done, he waved his hand over her strap, also melting them off completely. Setting her free.
Once she was free from the straps, she immediately rose up and looked at Kurayami with curious eyes. Why was he helping her? She had so many questions to ask him.
"I know what you're thinking." He said, stuffing his hand back in his pocket. "And my answer is this...Us X-cell kids gotta stick together, right?"
"What?" She said, shocked by his words. He knew? How? She just met him.
Kurayami nearly chuckled at her shocked face but remained stoic and emotionless. "I know a lot about you...because I am a lot like you and people like us are very hard to find...remember that. Try focusing on the center of your hands."
She frowned and looked at her hands. Wondering what he meant by that. He couldn't possibly be talking about the strange burn scars on them, right?
"But w-what do you mean-" she was about to ask but he disappeared once she looked away from her wrist. It was like he was just an imagination.
"Where did he go?" She mumbled, looking around the quiet room.
Tomomi sighed as she didn't have time to thing about it. She looked at her palms, gazing over the frost bite burn marks on them again.
Deciding to take his advice, she began focusing on her palms.
She frowned, channeling her quirk into her hands. Her veins in her wrists and forearms began glowing like no other as she focused harder.
She noticed the light blue glowing substance started traveling from her wrists and up her hands. Like he said, the glowing substance in her wrists began to center right at the burn marks.
Then suddenly, a burst of sapphire blue fire shot right out of her hands and up the ceiling, making her jump. The fire shot through the ceiling, penetrating the concrete material.
She looked at the holes it created. Around the cracks, grew pure white dry ice as smoke emitted from it. Tomomi's eyes widened tenfold as she could not believe what she did.
Looking back at her hands, the fire dimmed down to a weakened ball of flame as she rose one hand up, allowing the extremely cold flames surround her hand.
"What is this?" She whispered, waving her hand around a little. "...Whoa..."
Another boom brought her out of her daze, making the flames disappear. She remembered what she needed to do. "I have to find Eri."
So yeah, this is a bit of a shortish
chapter and I apologize for the long
ass wait.
Writer's block freaking sucks. But I'm
